BRP Jose Rizal, On the New World

Captain Midori didn't understand the man words. The man in the middle is wearing whitish clothing with black and golden decorations and a strange white hat. But his bodyguards seem wearing a grayish dirty dotted uniform with black staves. The black staves don't have any blade attached, it could be a magic weapon they are possesses with.
The man in the middle, probably the captain of the metal ship, he is talking to a language, I can't understand.
Is it possible that this people are come from the far eastern sea that produce this steel vessels?
The man is confused and troubled, that we unable to communicate to each other. Then I realized a solution for this situation.
I asked my bodyguards to bring me a mage or a person proficient with some magic spells.
One of my bodyguard leave to fetched a magic user. But the captain of the metal boats tried to use sign language. He then pointed himself and gave a thumbs up. I guess he show they are friendly.
My bodyguard show a female crewmate that is from my communication officers.
"Captain! What's going on?" My communication officer asked the situation.
"Do you have a spell to translate this man words?" I uttered.
The Captain of the metal ship still trying to communicate with us, but still no result. The captain then pointed at my female crewmate with a mood of curiosity.
"Not really a translation spell, but a spell that can telepathically send understanding thoughts to the host. But, it is usually meant for domesticating on wild animals." She replied with uncertainty of the spell.
"Fine, just give it shot." I reassured.
"Okay Captain, give me a moment to chant the spell."
Her hands began to glow and gather the mana from the air. She began to chant the spell in front of the strangers.
The bodyguards from the metal boat tensed up and raise their black staves toward me and my crewmates. My bodyguards also raised their swords at them ready to retaliate if we got harmed.
The captain and I tried to calm down the situation till my communication officer finished her magic spell.
"Captain, the spell is now finished."
"Everyone stands down, we shouldn't use drastic action." The Captain of the BRP Jose Rizal tries to warn everyone to stand down.
The man he tried to communicate with, has brought a woman to his ship. The woman talked to him for some time, then she began to chant something he still can't understand, but the one that shocked him and his bodyguards is that the woman raise her hands and started to glow.
My soldiers raised their firearms at the strange foreigners to prevent a possible attack from them. As the man bodyguards raised their swords towards me.
As the woman finished her chants, then spoke a word that shocks him even more.
"Captain, the spell is now finished." The woman talked in words that make me felt like I just understand it.
"Well excuse me, sir, can you understand me now?" The man asked me if, for some reason, I felt like I'd know their meaning.
"Oh yes, I could understand you right now." The captain replied to the man.
"Finally! Greetings, I am Captain Midori of the Qua-Toyne Navy Second Fleet." The man introduces himself. "I like to know your affliction and purpose on these waters."
"Well, I am Captain Randy of the BRP Jose Rizal, from the nation of the Republic of the Philippines."
"Sorry, but I never heard a nation named Republik of the Philifines."
"That's make sense, because we're aren't from this world."
"What you mean not from this world?" Captain Midori asked.
"My country borders have been connected by this Black Ring behind us." I gestured at the Ring that transferred my ship to this world. "We believe that this Ring is connecting our world to yours."
"Did you create this Ring?"
"No, it was appeared on my nation teritorial waters without noticed from my goverment. We send UAV and aircraft to explore the lands for better understanding of the world on the other side."
As he mentioned sending something to explore the lands. Captain Midori realize a mysterious flying object have trespassed their lands.
"Are you the ones responsible for a unknown flying object that trespassed over our country on Maihark?"
"Yes, and I'm deeply apologize for violating your airspace. We didn't know the geography of this world. Our reconnaissance plane was sent to survey the lands for information gathering."
"I'm not really a diplomat, so can we have a formal diplomatic talks to your country." I added for a proper meeting for our two countries.
"I see, I need to contact my superior about this."
The two captain said there goodbyes and returned back to their own ships.
As Captain Midori and his communication officer leave the ship to contact their headquarters. The female communication officer asked something peculiar on the event.
"Oh! Captain, I need to tell you something."
"What is it?"
"When I was finishing the translation spell on the strange sailors. I felt a mass amount of mana leaking out on the Ring."
"Interesting, I will also add this to my report on headquarters."
Qua-Toyne Principality, Maihark Naval Base
"Commander! Latest transmission from the Second Fleet. It's a priority message!" A communication officer bursted out on the commanders soor with a scroll on hand.
Commander Nouka was having a smoke and puffed out a huge amount of it. He then tapped it out his cigar. "Read it."
"The Second Fleet has spotted a large black Ring on the middle of their search. As they investigate the Ring. It emerge a metal vessel with human crewmen on the decks. They spoke in a unknown language and don't speak the common language. But, a communication officer have casted a spell to communicate the strange foreigners. They have introduced themselves to be afflicted to the country of Philippines and declared that they are from another world across a magic portal."
"They also the one responsible who sended that flying object on trespass our airspace and want to apologize for their actions. They would like to propose diplomatic talks with Qua-Toyne." The man added.
"A nation from a another world that travels through a magic portal and possessing a ship made of iron. Now that's is fascinating." Nouka chuckled at the report.
Commander Nouka stand up and began leaving out through the door.
"Commander! Where are you going?"
"To the capital, there having a government meeting on the incident happened on Maihark."
Government Conference Area (Lotus Garden)
Commander Nouka tried to enter the Lotus Garden except been blocked off by a female elf clerk.
"Sorry sir, but this area is restricted to unauthorized personnel. I need you to leav-." She didn't finish her words as Nouka puffed out smoke on her face. "What with this smoke?"
Commander Nouka slipped past the clerk and appeared on the conference table from the cloud of smoke.
"Commander Nouka of the Second Fleet? What is the meaning of this?" The Foreign Minister gasped in shocked.
"Well, if isn't the Foreign minister."
"Commander Nouka, I take that your here to deliver information about the Maihark incident. Do you?" Prime Minister Kanata asked him.
"Indeed Prime Minister, I'm sorry for intruding without notice. But I have information on the perpetrators of the incident."
"The Second Fleet have founded a mysterious object characterized of an black ring near the coast of Maihark. It came out ships that is made out of metal and sailed by humans. They said they are one's who are responsible on the trespassing our borders and want to apologize for violating our airspace. They introduced themselves to come from a nation called the Republic of the Philippines. They want to have diplomatic talks to our government."
After as Nouka started his report this outrageous story, everyone in the meeting room appeared dubious.
"Are you joking about that report.Who is the country that invade our airspace?"
"Republic of the Philippines? Never heard of them."
"They are probably a barbaric nation from the far east oceans."
The room is filled of laughter and anger from the response to the report. Some are doubtful of the details and others are asking repercussion from that country.
"I know most of you are upset to this new nation, but here is our situation from all of this?"
He pulled out a map of the entire continent of Rodenuis that shows the nations and the borderline of their territory.
"On the south, our ally the Quila Kingdom has no wyvern force and is an impoverished country. There military force is real by standards, but have numerous uneven terrain and mountain ranges to served as natural barriers against a invasion. And furthermore, the beastmen are possesses on super strength and high agility that can outmatched a normal human soldier. However, due to there uneven terrain and mountain ranges, they will have a hard time sending support and logistics. And now, the Louria Kingdom are bolstering their military near our borders and testing our defences for cracks. Our country's military don't have the resources to spare on dealing the country of the Philippines."
"What we have gathered from them, is that they own a ship made of iron and a flying contraption that flew faster and higher than a regular wyvern."
He then turned to the Prime Minister and asked. "Now, Prime Minister, what's your decision?"
Prime Minister Kanata then take a moment to think of his answer. Then, he came to a conclusion.
"I think our first order of business, is to accept their apology and have diplomatic talks with the Philippines."
Philippines, Manila
January 25, 2026
Manila Bay, The Ring
10:00 PM
It's late of the night, the capital of Manila is lively as usually do. But the sailors and coast guard that are surrounding the Ring, are tired and restless on guarding the perimeter.
The US Navy has arrived on the location near the Ring. The ships that arrived are one Ticonderoga class guided-missile cruiser, two Arleigh Burke-class destroyers, one Los Angelesclass submarine and the super aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. They surrounding the Ring as security precaution that prevent any hostile faction trying to get in or out.
As the Philippine warships also present on the sea. A white metal ship is approaching the Ring with two corvette escort ship on the sides. The BRP Gabriela Silang is being sent for a diplomatic mission to a country on the other side of the Ring. It's being escorted by two newly armed corvette escort ship that is armed with Oto Melara 76mm/62 caliber gun on the front and M242 Bushmaster 25mm gun on the stern.
"Sir, the radar have detected surface contacts coming near the Ring on the other side." The sailor asked his captain.
"It's probably the other world representatives coming to greet us."
Then turned toward the Philippine ambassador and in a stern look.
"If things goes south, and we haven't heard from you, we are gonna send in the special force to extract you."
"You saying that makes my spine chill."
"Haha, your gonna be the first person to have the first official talks to a country from a different world."
"You read the report from the previous contact, they have a language barrier, till a woman have did some glowing hands and they spoke that make the captain of the Jose Rizal understand them. There conversation on what they perform and they explicitly quoted."
"Magic"
"I think there some truth behind it. But don't bother, it's not gonna hurt to ask."
"Yeah, the pressure is killing me."
"Just calm down, before they could be the ones to kill you first."
The Philippine representative gulped at that statement of the Captain's words. He sees the coming wooden ships getting closer and they went sideways to each other. A ramp came down on the ship and the world inhabitants than meet him face to face.
"Excuse me? Are the representatives of the Republic of the Philippines."
"Yes, I'm Maynard De Guzman and an ambassador from the Philippines."
"It's nice to see you. I'm Captain Midori from Qua-toyne Navy, from the last meeting with your people."
"I'm happy with the last meeting that was avoided from any misunderstanding from our forces."
"I agreed, can you follow our fleet and dock at our city port. It's named Maihark and that's where your flying object flew and panicked the people there."
"I apologize for that, but could I bring two of my escort ships for security?"
"I think that could be allowed. Just don't bring a entire fleet, that could be seen as a threat."
"Can we proceed with our journey."
"Oh! I forgot this." Captain Midori then reach for his pocket and reveals a silver necklace containing a blue stone.
"With this, you can understand and talk in the common language without issue."
"How does this work?"
"By magic and enchantments, my friend."
So reports are indeed true, and what are the scientific theory that makes this possible?
"Really? I don't have that much experience with magic."
"It's easy just by wearing it like a normal necklace."
I then wear the necklace and as expected, nothing really happen.
"Well that's kinda anticlimactic."
"Could we proceed you to Maihark?"
"Well, lead the way."
The Qua-Toyne Navy Second Fleet with the three Philippines ships went to voyage to the port city of Maihark.
As they move for four hours, the ships then arrived the port city of Maihark. The citizen of the city is still fresh of the unknown flying object that came unchallenged from their city defences. As the ships came closer to the city, the people then saw gray and white metal ships coming to their ports.
The three ships then anchor on the port with many seamen and fishermen watch a ship that is beyond their comprehension.
"Hey guys, is that from the other civilizations." The fishermen asked to the steel boats on the port.
"Definitely, it's probably the Mu's or Holy Milishial Empire that send the flying object on our city. But I don't know why they did that?" His companion responded.
"Hey! Their flag is showing a unknown markings from the other civilizations." The third companion asked.
"Really, then who are they?"
Port Area of Maihark
As the BRP Gabriela Silang docked on the port city of Maihark. Ambassador Maynard then step out on the ship and saw the city to a first-person perspective.
The city is like it come from the Mediterranean Sea, and the buildings is more medieval European from their designs.
"You like the view of the city." A man came up to him with a question on the city.
"Yes, it's like I'm really in a another world." I reply back.
"Pardon me, I forgot to introduce myself." He then reach his hand to me and introduce himself.
"My name is Yagou, from the Qua-toyne Foreign Affairs Ministry, I will be guiding for your journey."
"Thank you, and I'm Maynard De Guzman, from the Philippine on Department of Foreign Affairs."
Yagou then looked at the steel ships on the harbor.
"So the stories is true, your nation possesses these mighty ships and dragons made of steel."
"It's nothing to brag about, like theirs much better than this, from other countries."
"Like where? On the countries from the First or Second Civilization?"
"Sorry, but I do not know this civilization you're talking about."
"I see, that your not around here."
"I just came from a portal that transported me and my ships to a different world that we haven't discovered."
"The stories on magical portals and people from another world is told by myths and legends."
As the two emissaries were still talking to each other. A row of carriages appeared on the road.
"Well, our rides are here."
The Philippines security team began to packed there luggage inside. The two emissaries then proceed to talked about there country's basic knowledge, politics, culture, and lifestyle.
They traveled to different types of locales places and shows the variety to building to people.
"Excuse me, but what are they?"
"Them?"
"Yes, the ones with animal features."
"You don't know a beastmen?"
"No, we only have humans in our world."
Wait! Your telling that theirs no beastmen, elves, or dwarves other then humans in your world.
"Yes, but we have different human races from different skin color to face features."
"The Lourian are gonna love hearing this." Yagou imagine the Lourians celebrate a world that is inhabited only for humans.
"Could I ask about this magic while we still have time."
"I thought you guys have mastered magic."
"Magic is more fairytale than reality to our world."
"Impossible! Then how do you build that steel ships and flying object without magic assistance."
"I don't know? We just do hard work and ingenuity to overcome the problem. And build the things we created from necessity."
"I can't believe or imagine what your saying is either true. But, what I just saw in the harbor might show some proof."
"If you are in my capital, you will be shocked on the advancements we hold."
"Excuse me, we already arrived on the Capital." The coachman addresses their destination.
"Well, it seems like we're here."
Qua-Toyne Principality, Qua-Toyne

Capital Gates
As the carriages arrived on the Qua-Toyne Capital, they saw a massive wall with a giant wooden gate. The gatekeeper then opens the gate and reveals the capital inhabitants doing their own business.
The road is made of cobblestone and the buildings are designed to be more like a feudal fantasy setting.
The roads are walked by people of different races that are from folktales from Tolkien or RPG games. There are horse-driven carriages that travel the roads and theirs no noise or toxic fumes of an automobile.
The carriage then stopped in front of a building. And Yagou asked that there destination is here.
"Well we're here. Seems like this is where we part ways."
"It was a good time talking with you."
"I hope all those stories about isn't jokes."
"Haha, if only you can see our capital, then your jaw drop."
Yagou and Ambassador Maynard went in there separate ways.
Ambassador Maynard with his security team entered Qua-Toyne Government Building.
Qua-Toyne Principality, Qua-Toyne

Qua-Toyne Government Building
Ambassador Maynard sat on the meeting table with his security team standing up and while scanning for threats. While on the other side of the table is the Qua-toyne bureaucrats with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.
"Now, with everyone is present, then the I commence the diplomatic talks of the Principality of Qua-toyne and Republic of the Philippines, Ambassador Maynard care to express yourself." Prime Minister Kanata addresses the meeting.
"I'm Ambassador Maynard and I represent the nation of the Philippines." The Philippine ambassador introduces himself.
"On behalf of my country, I issue an apology for the violation of your country's airspace without permission from your administration." He added.
"We accept your apology, and can you talk about the country you hail from."
"Yes, for better understanding to form a relationship between the two nations. I have a PowerPoint presentation for ease on learning my country."
"What's a Powerpoint?" The Foreign Minister questioned.
"Give me a minute to set up the presentation."
Ambassador Maynard reveal a laptop inside his suitcase and setting up his presentation.
The Qua-toyne bureaucrats are interested in the piece of glass and metal from the Philippine ambassador have taken from his bag.
The laptop turned on and the Qua-Toyne bureaucrats with Prime Minister Kanata stunned from the gadget.
"Is that a magic tool?" The official amused from the device.
"No, this is completely made from engineering and science. And here we go."
The laptop screen then shows the entire map of the Philippines.
"Since we can't understand our writing, so I tell you the details of the presentation."
"The country of the Philippines is an archipelagic country in the Southeast Asia. The total landmass is 300,000km from consists of the around 7,641 islands. With a population of somewhere 120,000,000 million."
"What? That's an absurd number from a country I never heard from the northeast sea!" The Foreign Minister exclaimed.
"Because my country is not from this world." Ambassador Maynard replies the truth about his country.
"What do you mean?" Kanata questioned the statement.
"My country have discovered a portal near from the capital of my nation. We send in a reconnaissance mission and that how we accidentally entered your airspace. I'm a person from a another world."
The people on the Principality are taken back from ambassador words.
"What your saying is nonsense that came from a fairytale and legends." The Foreign Minister interjected.
"I assured you, that our discussion was all true and to make it genuine, we have intentions to welcomed any of your envoys for more better understanding our country and world."
"I think that could be possible. I will prepared a delegation team upon your return." The Prime Minister requested.
"Wait! what are talking about Prime Minister?" The Foreign Minister shocked from the Prime Minister action.
"This gentleman have shown sincere and polite manners. I feel that the man's word is somewhat true."
"I can't believe that you're sending one of our people to a land we do not know of."
"They come here with a small group of their people and trusted us to come our lands on unharmed for to apologize and want to have diplomatic ties to our country."
He then turned toward to the ambassador and speak to him.
"You may stay in the guest room for tomorrow morning. We will provide a diplomat for your country meetings."
"I'm grateful for your proposal."
As the Philippine delegate left the conference room. Tanaka then had a thought in his mind.
What is really the Philippines?
Well, I nearly mastered my writing techniques and grammar too. But still the story is still in the beginning of the story yet, many things already happen. Gonna have blast on the next chapter.
