Azkaban test chapter -
Plot: Harry is sent into Azkaban before the start of his sixth year after being framed for two murders, Harry is all alone and the only person who had been willing to visit him was Tonk's. When Harry is released he had been hoping to stay away from Hogwarts, unfortuantly Dumbledore had other ideas. And unfortunatly for Dumbledore, Tonks wasn't just going to leave Harry without a fight. Harry/Tonks pairing.
Scene 1:
"You here to visit him again?" The auror on duty asked, leering at her.
"So what if I am?" Tonks glared at him. "Just do your damn checks and let me through."
"I don't know why you keep coming back here." The auror rolled his eyes before lazily casting several spells, once he was done several minutes later she was gestured to go ahead.
"Thanks, and for the record, I don't know how someone as incompetent you was able to even join the force." Tonks called back before walking out of the auror's line of sight.
She kept her wand ready in case the dementors got any ideas but they shouldn't be here at this current time, but then again the person she was visiting shouldn't be here either. It was a long and incrediby cold and very draining walk before she finally reached the cell she wanted to be at.
"Harry," Tonks called gently, her voice as soft as she could make it. "it's me." She said as she looked into the cell, barely able to see anything since the majority of the cell was covered in shadows. "It's me." She called once more.
"Tonks?" A raspy voice echoed out from the shadows. "Is...is that you?" The voice asked, there were plenty of words that came into Tonk's head when she heard that voice: quiet, hopeful, scared. But the word that stood out the most was undoubtedly 'broken.'
"Yes, it's me." She said quietly. "Harry, you want to come closer?" She asked gently. She stayed silent for a while, knowing it was better to wait and give him time.
"I...I'm glad you came...again." The voice spoke once more before Harry finally crawled out of the shadows. Tonks did her best to not visibly react to the state of him, but it was hard not to.
She remembered the first time she saw Harry, she had been a seventh year and he was just an innocent little first year boy waiting to be sorted. She had thought he was adorable with his messy black hair and bright green eyes. He looked even more adorable when she saw how nervous and shy he looked. After that she had seen him a few times around school, though they never talked since they were in different years, classes and houses.
After she had left Hogwarts the second time she had seen him was when she had helped pick him up for the order after Dolores Umbridge (Umbitch) had sent those dementors after him and Dumbledore had insisted he be moved to a safe house. Between helping him pack his stuff and taking him to headquarters, she had seen him checking her out a couple of times when he thouhgt that she wasn't looking, something that had brought a smile to her face. It helped that he had transistioned from adorable to cute since she had last saw him, his hair had been shorter but just as messy and his eyes were brighter than ever. She remembered thinking that she could have gotten lost in those eyes if she looked long enough.
But the boy - no, not a boy, the young man - in front of her didn't look like that. His face and whole body were ridiculousy skinny, he looked like he needed a very long shower - make that a bath, poor bloke doesn't look like he can stand up - and a razor to get rid of the short amount of stubble growing on his gaunt, pale face. His hair, once a messy mop that any girl would like to run her hands through, was now a long, filfthy mess that fell down to his shoulders. His green eyes, once so bright and full of life, were dulled and damn near expressionless.
"I told you I'd come back." Tonks said, forcing herself to smile before she snuck her hand into her robes and pulled out a potion. "Bottoms up, Harry."
"How...how did you get this past security?" He breathed out before coughing violently.
"It was easier than you'd think." Tonks admitted with a frown before handing him the potion.
"Thank you." Harry said quietly.
"I don't have a nutrition potion on me, I didn't want to risk smuggling in more than one." Tonks admitted, sounding appologetic. "I'll bring one next time."
"Just...just stay...please." Harry begged, reaching a hand out of the cell. Tonks didn't even hesitate, quickly grabbing it with her own.
"I'm not leaving you, Harry." Tonks said. "And that's a promise!"
Scene 2:
"NO!" Harry cried out, clutching his head with his hands as tears dripped down his eyes. "No! No! No! No!" He said, shaking his head violently.
"Harry! Please!" Tonks said in a desperate voice, her face read and her hair currently a mousy brown. "I..I can't do anything..."
"I don't want to go! I don't want to go!" He cried even louder, his voice almost childlike.
"Harry!" Tonks said as she took a step closer. "I'm sorry! I really am! But I have no choice! If we don't go to Hogwarts wilingly then they'll just take you there! I'll be teaching there this year! I'll keep and eye on you and..."
"No! No!"
"...protect you!" Tonks continued as if he hadn't interrupted. "Please Harry, I know this is hard for you!"
"No!" Harry cried as his hands were now rubbing the tears from his face. "I don't want to go!" He sobbed
"Harry," Tonks tried her best to hold back her own tears as she pulled him into a hug, his arms instantly wrapped around her and he hugged her tightly, sobbing into her shoulder as she rubbed the back of his neck with one hand while drawing circles on his back with the other.
"Don't make me go, Tonks!" Harry begged, his tears wetting her shoulder. "I...I don't want to go! Please!" He begged desperatly.
"Harry," Tonks managed to get out, her breathing suddenly feeling very heavy. "i...I can't stop them, I'm sorry. You have to go there."
"I don't...I don't want to go!" Harry slumped against her, his grip on her was not as tight as it had been before. "Please Tonks, please don't make me go! Don't make me go!" He cried, his whole body trembling.
"Harry," Tonks gasped out, tears falling down her own face. "I..I'm sorry but..."
"I don't want to go." Harry's whispered cry cut through whatever she was about to say. "Don't send me there...don't...don't leave me...don't leave me there...please...please don't leave me there...don't leave me, Tonks."
"Harry." Tonks spoke, her voice barely above a whisper, she tightend her hug on him before she placed her mouth next to her ear. "I promise, I will always be here for you."
