Author Notes: I announced that I created a mistake on the naming convention on the characters. The Philippine ambassador was addressed by his first name then his last name, because its too formal to called a person first name. I will changed the addressed name to the last name of Ambassador Abueva previous chapters. And fixed some mistakes, for better understanding for the story.
Also, I even changed the cover to reflected the arcs on the multiple scenes for the story.

After the announcement to the extraterrestrial aliens on the international media. The world went to an uproar, it's the main topic in social media and trending on many platforms. News reporters and journalist are trying to gathered more information about the Ring and the world on the other side.
One of them is a national news of the Philippines reporting about the Ring and many question related it.
"Welcome to News Channel 24/7 Oras." The newscaster announced on the news channel. "I am Alvin Hernandez, bringing you the upcoming news of the nation." The anchorman introduced himself."
"Our latest news for the day, is the mysterious Ring that appeared on Manila Bay through unknown means and where it came from." He explained.
"We have many different information from the government and institutions that explained the appearance of the Ring."
"But neither are officially confirmed and the enforced of information on the Ring are kept secret from the government." He added.
"But public concerns and controversy are stirring up on the country and many people are demanding for answers. And on the street is the ordinary citizen of the Capital of Manila on the opinions of the Ring."
He then looked at a small screen showing a man on a different perspective.
"Here's Miguel Palanas, on the streets of Manila." As the view changes to a man wearing a formal suit with a microphone on his hand.
"Thank you Alvin, where are in the streets of the capital of Manila and we're here for insights about the Ring through our citizen perspective." He explained his intention as the scene changed to him with a young man wearing casual attire.
"Excuse me sir?" He appealed to the young man for the interview. "What's your thought on the mysterious Ring?"
"You mean the large strange object on Manila Bay?" He asked the question.
"Yes, the one that mysteriously appeared a couple days ago." The reporter replied back.
"Well, I kinda shocked about a massive portal appearing on the sea and notable nearby on the capital." He answered.
"But sometime and after hearing the discovery that the Ring leads to another world. I'm eager to explore the world on the other side." He added with an enthusiastic grin on his face.
"Thank you for your answer." The reporter thanked to the young man.
The scene changed to a different person that is a elderly woman holding her hand bag.
"Excuse ma'am!" He implored to the woman in the interview.
"I'm here to report about the Ring that appeared on Manila Bay." He clarified to his question to the woman.
"Why yes." She replied. "I'm very more concerned about what our government would do to Ring, also what other countries will try to have access on it."
"I see." He remarked on the answer as she respond to his question.
The scene changed again and shows a teenager boy that's wear a punk like attire.
"Excuse me sir?" The reporter greeted the teen with a question. "What are your thoughts on the Ring that appeared on Manila Bay and the world on the other side?"
The teenager boy look directly at the camera in a stern look and responded at the question.
"To what I think to the Ring and the other world?" He answered. "I think there will be imperialist activity to our government that will conquer the locals and created their colonies on there. So I'm against the government if they send in military force or let the West on expanding their influence."
"That sound aggressive for our government on committing such actions." The reporter responded the answer of the teenager.
"My father was killed by the Special Action Force (SAF) after being on the crossfire on our home. The previous administrative has less care on human life and more to filling their pockets." He explained his experience with government. "So I bet that they will exploit the people on the other world."
"Thank you for giving me some interesting answer." He commented the teenager response on the Ring and the government possible colonization on the other world.
The reporter looked directly at the camera and talked to the newscaster. "There's all the response from the people about the Ring. Coming back to you Alvin."
The scene changed back to the newsroom and the newscaster is looking at the camera.
"Thank you Miguel". He replied back and continued reporting at the watchers.
"Our next news is the announcement of a General Assembly on UN building from US, New York. Its about the appearance of the Ring and the world from the other side. The meetings will take place on January 31, 2026." He reported of a international meeting concerning about the Ring and the another world.
"On the next news, the live adaption of Ibong Adarna is coming next month on our channel." The newscaster then reported other news topics as he finished about the Ring.

As the news ends, the president groans at his chair and smudged his face. The Vice President looked away at the man action trying to stay professional.

"How did it go when you encounter the world leaders on the online meeting." The Vice President asked about the virtual meeting that was conducted to discuss on the discovery of the Ring.
He got up and straighten his posture and answered. "I demand they will not given them any direct access on the Ring and give some restrictions on the joint research operations to investigate the Ring."
"I bet they furious." The Vice President commented on the President actions.
"The Chinese send some of their warships on our waters and demanded access to the Ring. But was later pushed back by the combined effort of the Coast Guard and Navy." The President explained the situation.
"The US are patient, but soon they will forced us to open the Ring to the international community." He added.
"About the General Assembly by the UN Council." The Vice President informed."It will be tomorrow and what our decisions on the Ring?"
"Let's give what they want but prevent any of them giving free access to the Ring."
The US is the prominent concern, they want to be the first country to put the stake on the other world. They could stall to the Americans for more influence on the other world.
The Chinese might spoken a trade sanction and send some warships for a show of force. But might be bluff and step down to not escalated the tension.
"How is our envoys on the other side of the Ring?" The President asked on their people that are working on the other world.
"Well Ambassador Abueva is working on the to seal the deal on the trade and economic agreement on the Principality." The Vice President answered as the President is grinning on the information.

The General Assembly Hall is crammed of representatives on multiple nations from around the globe. They are here for not only discussing of the discovery of extraterrestrial life but demanding to give access to the entire New World.
The Philippines is adamant to withhold the Ring away from the international community, except the research data of the Ring they have gathered. They all want the piece of the pie on the other side of the Ring. And they must convinced the Philippines to opened it to the international community.
All of the representatives of different nations sat down on their respective tables and the General-Secretary of the UN stepped forward to the podium and announced the meeting.
"We shall begin on our discussion of the possible first contact on a alien civilization. Let's the Philippine representative take the stage." The General-Secretary of the UN
The Philippine representative stand up on his chair and introduced himself. "Hello, I'm Angelo and I'm representing the Republic of the Philippines."
The entire audience looked at him, ready to hear the discovery that's is circling the entire globe.
"Before I discussed the Ring appeared on my country sovereign waters." He spoken. "I must described the appearance on how the Ring was first appeared."
He grabbed a sheet of paper of reports and information about the Ring and the operations they conducted.
"At 7:AM in local time, a report of a mysterious ring-shaped object is reported by numerous eyewitnesses from the coast of the Manila Bay. We identified that the object suddenly appeared near the coast of Manila from an unknown method."
A woman raised her hand, representing a white flag with red circle on the middle.
"The representative of Japan is recognized by the Chair."
"Can you describe the arrival of the Ring, when it first appeared on the area?" The representative of Japan questioned.
The Philippine representative looked at his documents and managed to find one of such report.
"To many data gathering from eyewitnesses and digital recordings on the arrival of the Ring." He looked the reports carefully. "It's described on the same description of the first encounter from the multiple spectators."
He then anwered the description of the Ring being formed by the public perspective. "The first stage of the Ring, is when blue fog begun to mysterious appeared on the ocean." He pause as he change a another paper. "As weird lights stared to glow on the clouds and grow higher and larger for a few minutes. Then the clouds begin to dissipate and revealed the Ring as it's massive blue halo highlighted above the water with a dark circle on the middle."

"They were attacked by the indigenous fauna on the other side of the Ring, but they managed to neutralized the creature before it harmed the team."
This gives some raised their eyebrow while others spooked to the man statement.
Another representative an man put forward his hand, his flag is simple bicolor with two horizontal bands, that is red and white.
"The representative of Indonesia is recognized by the Chair."
The Indonesia representative asked with curiosity. "What is the description of this creature, after attempting to attacked the investigation team."
The Philippine representative is reviewing on the encounter of the flying creature from the report.
"The autopsy report from data gathered from the retrieval of the creature body." He informed. " It's was examined by the researchers that the creature to be similar to a flying lizard like dinosaur that the scientist concluded."
Their was small chattering between the representatives from the information. Like they are skeptical about the statement.
He then continued to his report on the creature. "The body, they studied are heavily research by the most experienced researchers in the country and they discovered many thing from the body."
"The body is covered by scales that have the same composition of Titanium." He added. "This could protect the creature from small arms weaponry and light enough to propelled it to airborne against it's own weight."
The audience are interested of such of organic material that could withstand small-caliber arms from a creature that is inhabit from the Ring. There some are concerned about a possible dangerous creature that is difficult to control that might be related to the movie Kong: Skull Island.
"But through the combined efforts of the Coast Guard and the employment of 30mm Mark 2 gun of the BRP Teresa Magbanua. He paused. "The result is that none of the investigation team is harmed and the creature is terminated and studied for research purposes."
He then changed the next scene. "After the incident, the government decided to send in the Navy and lockdown the Ring in case of any potential outbreaks of such dangers to the country and keep away any intruders to attempted on entering the Ring without permission."
The audience took notice of the explanation as he discussed of the militarization of the Ring for security reasons.
"As the Ring is firmly secured, the government decided to send in drones to survey the land from the other side of the Ring." He added.
He then changed his voice, a little higher as he bring the shocking news. "As the UAV is surveying the land." He paused and smirked on his thoughts. "Was something that changed our perspective on our world view."
This catches the attention of the audience as they wondering of their findings. But one of the representatives knew of the information as they received from the Philippine government.
"As the UAV found land on the vast ocean, it took a while to send in the a plane the Cessna 208B Caravan for increased ranged due to the limited communication between the UAV." He added. "What they discovered, seems to be man-made objects and building on the ground."
"But at some time, the same creature from the incident but it have a man riding it, attempt to attack the plane." He added
This bring some shocked to the audience of the attacks of the creature. But some knew their is some more to the story as it being told.
"But the pilots managed to maneuver the plane out of harm way. But as they returned back to our side of the Ring." He told them. "They accidentally discovered a entire city from their way. They managed to photograph the city from their surveillance camera.
A picture emerged from the projector as it reveals a city that is the size of a small town. It displays buildings limited to a small storey buildings. And the structures seems more Mediterranean design on the sky above, even looks ancient on their perspective.
"The nation on the other side of the Ring called themselves, the Qua-Toyne Principality, they are nation that have multiple races that are considered resembles a fantasy world." He announced the alien civilization on the other side of the Ring.
The projector then shows a long eared man that resemble a fantasy elves that's is waving on the camera and amazed of the device. It then shows a dog-like man that walking on the street holding a large barrel on his shoulders.
This give shocking looks to the audience and many are began murmured on the halls as they are trying to discussed on this claim.
"After some misunderstandings and setbacks, the Philippine government managed to established a diplomatic front with them. And the introduction of an aggression pact have been developed as both parties agreed to begin having closer ties with each other." He finished his entire report of the history of their operation and progression on the Ring.
As the whole assembly is getting louder and the General-Secretary trying to deliver an order of the court.
"Calm down, calm down." The General-Secretary trying to bring order on the assembly. "Ladies and gentlemen, let's started on the seminar."
A man representing his country with a vertical tri-color scheme on a blue, white and red.
"The representative of France is recognized by the Chair."
"Can you described the characterized this country that is called the Qua-Toyne Principality, like some description of their society and race that are present on their nation?" The French representative raised a question.

The entire assembly are confused and whispering to each other about the statement. They questioned the Filipino representative is letting out.

A man that represented a red flag with four yellow stars on the left top corner.

"Why do the Philippines is holding the Ring, as their extension of their territory." He spoke out. "I'm very concerned that they will tried to conquered the other side of the Ring, away from international supervision for the expenses of their national interest."
This delivered a offensive sentence to the Philippine representative from the Chinese
"The Ring is within from the Philippine jurisdiction, so anything or anyone that want to entered the Ring. Must have permission from my government before access. And we are more worried on security risk that might entail from unknown threats on the other side of the Ring."
Before the Chinese can reacted to the statement. A another representative raised his hand to asked a question.
The representative flag is showing a red and white stripes on right side and a blue box holding multiple white stars.
"The representative of United States of America is recognized by the Chair."
"Would it be possible for our delegates from our countries to have diplomatic talks with the other civilization from the Ring.
The Philippine take a moment to think the decision before coming to his decision.
"I would say that it's would take a month before the other countries from the Ring are in common understanding to our world before any rush development from the diplomatic relationship between our worlds." He explained as they know his stalling their time.
The Chinese representative raised his hand again for a another question.

Why would did you suggest that? The Philippine representative asked.
"From a nation that have access to alien civilization or could travel to another planet. It's risky for your nation to withhold the Ring without any oversight away from the international community from possible international violation to be enforced." The Chinese representatives explain the actions.
"If the Ring was to be in your country territory, would have you dispatch UN observers, even from your recent country actions on violating many international laws without any reparations." He retorted to the Chinese representatives.
The Chinese representative was taken shocked from the declaration of the Philippine representative. Before the Chinese argued back, the Russian representative butted in before the debate escalated.
"The representative of Russia is recognized by the Chair."
"It's still concerning that the lack of insight from the community can make the Philippine government may commit unregulated violation without the enforcement of the UN. Even the monopoly of the Ring is unjustified on being on their territory and this could lead to international comdenation, if the Philippine commit such acts."
Like that doesn't stop your country from acknowledging from engaging human rights violations to other nations or own citizens. The Philippine representative though as he recalled from the Russian Federation history from the invasion of Chechnya to Russo-Ukraine War.
The Philippine representative must think his situation. He don't want the other countries staking the claim on the other side. Neither have a international sanctions from all of the trading countries from his nation. He picked the logical decision for his nation welfare.
"The access of UN observers can be scheduled for the relationships between the country on the other side of the Ring is improved and can established an appointment for the UN representatives." He answered to Russian representatives as they are pleased to the answer.
Most of the representatives agreed on the decisions and some are reluctant from the extra time to have access from the Ring.

The room is occupied by government officials from both countries for diplomatic matters. They are sitting on their corresponding seats and discussing the trade deal that are exchange of capital, goods, and servicesfor both countries.
"I must addressed the topic on Philippine and Quatoyne Cooperation Consultation." Ambassador Abueva addressed. "We must decided the import and exports for both countries that will trade to further our country's relations."
"I agreed." Prime Minister Kanata understands the importance of this discussion.
Trade is critical for a nation development, it's tofueling economic growth, supporting good jobs at home, raising living standards, and help the citizen on provide for their families with affordable goods and services. The Philippine is one of the international trading hub on Asia on toward across the world. It's now will be the first trading hub for a another civilization not from this world.
"The Philippines is country that can import and exported manufactured goods includingsteel, chemicals, paper, textile, aircraft, machinery, clothing, vehicles, refined petroleum products, and other essential goods." Ambassador Abueva describes his country's trade and industry level, that possessed of those assets.
But most of the items he mentioned, doesn't make them understand the products due to there low level tech.
"Hmm" Kanata rubbed his chin to collected his thoughts from the reports of the diplomats that was sent across the Ring. "From my report of my representatives, they describe your nation to possess large towers and plentiful of horseless carriage on their journey."
He look at the ambassador's eyes with curios look. "Are they true?"
"Everything about the large towers to the self-propelled vehicles that many of my citizen use are all true." The ambassador reassured him.
"Good!" The prime minister answered in delight. "Is it possible to purchase those carriage?"
"I don't know?" Ambassador Abueva scratches his head. "Our vehicles need regular basis of maintenance and must run from fuel in ordered to operated.
"Fuel?" He asked. "Like Magic Gems."
"No, the ones that are combustional liquid that are came from the ground and processed for many applications."
"I see." Kanata understood his mistaken on their power sources.
"What do you mean Magic Gems?" The ambassador question the unknown resource. "Are they valuable?"
"Of course." One of the officials answered in dumbstruck. "They are very valuable to the entire world. Even the super powers used them for their weapons and technology."
The Philippine ambassador want to understand this untouched kind of resource. He must first figure out its properties and possible advantage for his country.
"What can they do?" He asked about the magic gem characteristics.
"Well, the magic gems are minerals that emit magical energy that are mined and utilized by several countries. It's used to cast spells and power magical technology." The Prime Minister Kanata pointed out his finger and chanted in gibberish words that the Filipinos can't understand.
As the Prime Minister finished his chant, his finger began to shine and the people who are not from this world, displays some surprised looks at the action the Prime Minister performed.
"Magic gemstones assist our mages in performing complex magic spells or powered magical devices that required them." He explained them the usability of the resource. "I can make more complex spells then this if I have a mana gem to assist me."
A servant came to him with a blueish-colored ore that emits a slight glowing light. He grabbed the ore from the servant and he then showed it to the ambassador.
"This here is different kind of magic gemstones in solid form, there are even in liquid or gaseous in some special cases.This can magic gem will assisted me cast water magic spells on ease." He started to chanted as the magic gem begin to glow on his hand.
As he casted his spell on the air, a stream of water is floating on mid-air that turned to large that makes the Filipinos watched in awed on the demonstration.
As the Prime Minister of the Principality demonstrated his magic spells to the delegates. Ambassador Abueva can simply comment one phrase on the display.
"Amazing"
The Prime Minister flowed the floating water to the multiple flower vase on the decoration to prevent the water spilling on the floor.
"That's one of the many applications that you can use on the mana gemstone from a professional mage." Kanata acknowledges the diplomats on the mana gemstones.
Kanata handed out the mana stone to Ambassador Abueva, as he examined over the gemstone with an analyzing look.
"How did you perform those magic spells?" He asked the instructions to cast magic spells from the Prime Minister.
"Well, to cast magic, you must have an attributes to magic to cast spells for yourself."
"I see." He noted this experience for research purposes. He pressed further on the subject. "Does everyone on this world can perform magic?"
"No." He answered. "Most people dont have the abilities to manipulate mana flow and conjured them. They can only use mana tools to use magic on a from mana gemstones."
"So the people who can use magic are very rare." He come to a conclusion that people who can directly cast magic is a small population from this world.
"Yes." He replied. "But some countries have a huge amount of mages on their populations."
So it varys on the different kinds of places. I must note that their mages are a small minority on this country. The Philippine ambassador thought from the conversation.
"Well the trade of that mana gemstones and agriculture products are listed for exports and in exchange for some developments that could help your nation's." Ambassador Abueva suggested the offer to the Quatoynes.
"What can this developments that your nation will offer to ours?" Kanata wasn't sure of the offer, the trade might be a one-sided benefit to the Philippines.
"Like basic necessities from lighting, water, food, infrastructure, and anything that could improve your populace's living conditions." He explained the multiple offers that could be given to the Quatoynes.
The Prime Minister's face is delighted on the on the offer. He felt some doubts on the motives on the deal, but the pressure of Lourians are hampering his nation economy from the increase of defense budgets.
"I see this a generous offer that no one can dream of." But he felt something wrong with the offer. "But I feel like there's a catched behind this action."
"That's just a small charity to jump start our cooperation with your nation." He explained. But there are some incentives like being exempted from tariff and tax.
"That could be worked on." The rest of the Quatoynes could agreed in the incentives.
Ambassador Abueva then proceed on the next step of their planning. "Then where would our ships will docked their goods."
The Quatoyne Minister of Commerce step forward and responded. "The best trading port that is suitable is the Port City of Maihark."
This makes the Philippine ambassador open his eyes. "Do you mean the port city where I departed?"
"Yes."The Quatoyne Minister of Commerce answered. "It's near to the location of the Ring and it's mightily secured against pirates and invaders on the waters" He boastly explained.
"That sound reassuring." Ambassador Abueva commented.
As they finally about to finished their meeting. Ambassador Abueva wanted to informed the Quatoyne government about the UN meeting that was discussed on the other world.
"Before we finished our meeting, I must informed you about a international meeting from my world." Ambassador Abueva announced to the Quatoynes as they heard about a international meeting.
"What is this international meeting you speaking of?" The Minister of the Foreign Affairs questioned to the announcement.
A General Assembly has been called over by the UN on the discovery of the Ring and the other world, or your world.
"UN?" Prime Minister of Kanata inquiry on the subject.
Ambassador Abueva responded back "The United Nations or 'UN' for short, is a collection of nations that there mission is to maintaining international peace and security, developing friendly relations among nations and promoting social progress, better living standards and human rights."
This makes the Quatoynes in shocked that to such of a organization exists in there world.
"So what do they want?" Prime Minister Kanata unnerverly asked.
"Well they request to send a observer to oversee our country relations and treatments your receiving." The Philippine ambassador explained to them.
"Is it essential for them to conduct such task?" Prime Minister Kanata asked.
"The majority of the world have agreed to checked our operations and treatment of your nations. They also want to learned more about this world to closer our ties for both of our worlds." He answered.
The Quatoynes officials talked to each other on whether ever to accept more diplomats to their country. Then Prime Minister Kanata managed to convinced them that this could extend their trade to other countries on the other side of the Ring.
"We reached to a conclusion that the UN observer are granted to the our domain with diplomatic immunity." He concluded.
Ambassador Abueva reached his hand toward to the Prime Minister .
"This is the first step for both of our worlds and soon as possible that this relation will blossom to allies." As showed his hand as a sign of agreement
"I hope our countrys will meet that future." Prime Minister Kanata gestured back by shaking the ambassador hand in return.

In a nearby country that is lying beside the borders of the Qua-Toyne Principality and Quila Kingdom is the Kingdom of Louria.
But the difference between the two, is that
Louria embraced ideologies such as racism, human suprematism and expansionism, aimed at the hegemony of the human race over the demi-humans in the continent.
On it's capital city that is called Jin-Hark, named after the Hark Dynasty from it's founding of the country. It's layout is composed of three massive walls to defend the city from invaders. The multiple Observation Towers that are manned 24-7 in order to observe any impending attacks. They are equipped with manacoms in order to relay the information quickly to the central command.
On the middle of the city is a hill that the top is inhabits the country monarchs,on a castle called Hark Castle.
On the palace halls is two men walking in a orderly fashioned. The first man is a old man with a bald head and long white goatee, wearing a magistrate robe. While the second man has a stubble red-brown hair and a unwilling face, he is wearing golden plate armor with a sword on his waist.
"Prime Minister." The second man asked. "We need to report the Great King of our military progress to the incoming invasion."

To his side, is Patagene the Chief General of the Royal Defense Knights and a Chief Military Officer that involves on the incoming invasion of the Principality.
As they entered to the doors of the halls, as they entered the throne room. The throne room is luxurious and filled with guards that wore chest plates armour with stripe pattern undergarments.
On the throne that have the kingdom symbol that is a shield crest with a unicorn on the middle. A man wearing only a bathrobe and is recently wet.
The man is King Hark Louria the 24th, the ruler of the Kingdom of Louria and his wearing bathroom clothing on his throne.
"My Great King I bear news on our military force for our conquest of the continent and the subjugation of all demi-humans." Prime Minister Maus introduces himself and as they both bowed to the king.
"Speak now." He spoked out to his servants.
"I received the invasion force are nearly completely and will be fully mobilized to nearly two months." Patagene discussed their military force condition for the incoming invasion.
"Good!" The King remarked on the results of his hard work.
His predecessor have a distinct hatred towards demi-humans that plagues the continent of Rodenuis. They believe on human supremacy and wants to be free from the existence of their species. It takes centuries of war and conquest that the Kingdom that used to be a small kingdom to the greatest military power on the outside civilization.

"How's the status on the Principality and the Quilians?" The King asked on his adversary's situation.
"Our Wyvern Squadron are probing their defenses for weaknesses and sometimes have a skirmish between our Wyvern Squadron and their own." Patagene addresses the troubles on their border conflict.
"That's fine." The King uttered. "What else?"
Prime Minister Maus stepped forward with uncertainly on his face. "There is a rumor on the Principality"
"What rumor?" The King asked.
"That a mysterious flying entity from unknown origin appeared on the skies of the Principality without any resistance by the Quatoynes." The Prime Minister informed the rumor.
"Really?" The King said with interest on his voice.
"There's is even sightings of unknown ships appearing on the Port City of Maihark and the ships is a wonder itself."
"The ship in detailed is made of entirely metal from it's hull. The ship proppels itself without sails and moves in an astonishing speed." He added. "They are having envoys and talks on their factions."
"My king." Patagene intercepts the conversation. "This rumor is very absurd, yet not out the realm of possibility."
"What do you mean?" The King replied.
"There is information that the First and Second Civilization has possess such ships on their navy." Patagene explained on a concerned voice.
"So, your saying that the other civilization are conversing with the Principality. Like our secret alliance with Parpaldia Empire." The King asked on his guess.
"Quite possible." Prime Minister Maus answered. "They probably expanded their influence to the Principality and counter our invasion."
"What should we do our great king." Patagene appealed to a answer on the situation.
"Send our spies and find out the people who owned the flying object and ships." The King demanded to his servants.
"Yes my King!" Both of the men answered and left the throne room.
'What are you?' The King thought of the mysterious faction that appeared on their plans of hegemony.
