Plot: Percy Jackson is sent to another world by his father to avoid a war, the world he lands in was supposed to be peaceful. And it was...if you ignore the constant world-ending dangers.
Scene 1:
"What the hell do you mean I have to leave?!" Blurted out twelve year old Percy Jackson.
His day had started relatively normal, with him being on a field trip in school and doing the usual things like trying not to get expelled, trying not to punch Nancy Bobofit, trying to pay attention to lectures, trying not to punch Nancy, trying to not get in trouble, trying not to punch Nancy and he had even resisted the urge to break Nancy's teeth.
The day had then started changing when one of his teachers pulled him to the side and suddenly transformed into a monster of some kind and tried to eat him. Or maybe she was trying to kill him or kidnap him, either way he wasn't happy to let her do whatever it was that she wanted to do.
The next thing that happened was his Latin teacher wheelchaired in and tossed him a pen which had transformed into the golden sword that was now in his hand. Instinct took over and he slashed at the monster, vaporising it into dust. Before he could blink he found himself transported into some water palace and standing in front of him was a man dressed in swimming shorts and a green Hawaii shirt. The man had black hair and green eyes that were an exact match to Percy's own hair and eyes.
It turns out that the man in front of him was Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea. And just to add to that revelation, it turns out he also happened to be Percy's father. But Percy didn't get too long to think on that revelation as just moments later his father had to explain some things to him.
Apparently someone had stolen something from Zeus (yes, the one who throws lightning bolts) and for some reason or the other, Zeus suspected him of doing it. So his father had the bright idea to send Percy to another world before Zeus could get his all powerful hands on him.
"This is crazy!" Percy couldn't help but add.
"I know this will be hard for you, Percy," Poseidon sighed deeply. "It's hard for me as well, but I can't think of a better solution. Sending you to a world without the gods is probably the safest option we have that will keep you alive. But I will make sure that you are as safe as can possibly be."
"How'd you plan that?" Percy blinked, a second later his sword flew into his father's hands.
"Give me a mo," He said before the sword disappeared and reappeared a couple of seconds later. "There, I've had some friends of mine sort that out so it'll work against mortals now."
"Wait, what?"
"Don't worry, I got more," He said, clicking his fingers and a green box landed in front of him. He knelt down and opened it. "I called in every last favour I am owed. Let's start with this," He added, tossing Percy a ring. "Put it on,"
Percy looked about half as confused as he was feeling but did as he was told and put the ring on, a second later the ring transformed and in his hand was what appeared to be a golden rope.
"Whoa!" Percy gasped.
"It's Hestia's lasso of truth," Poseidon explained.
"Wait! As in the legendary lasso of truth belonging to the goddess Hestia?!"
"The exact same, don't worry about it, she has a spare," Poseidon said with a wave of her hand. "She didn't even ask for anything before giving it to me. She's really far nicer than people credit her for. Anyway, Athena insisted on giving you this." He pulled out a couple of books and showed them to Percy before putting them back in the box. "Apollo has asked that you eat this," He pulled out a golden apple and tossed it to Percy who caught it before absently taking a bite.
"What the..." Percy trailed off as he felt a surge of energy travel through his body. "...what did that do?!"
"It'll help you heal faster than normal," Poseidon explained as he continued to rummage through the bag. "Artemis left you a tent and an offer to turn you into a girl if you want," He paused before looking at Percy. "Do you want to turn into a girl?" He asked genuinely.
"Not really,"
"Fair," Poseidon shrugged before looking down at the box. "Now, Ares has got you a set of armour."
"Ares as in the god of war?!"
"The very same, don't worry, I made him promise that the armour was safe." Poseidon added. "Hephaestus has got you a shield, he claims it's the best he's ever made. " He added as he tossed Percy a watch.
"Um...this is a watch,"
"Yeah, but it'll turn into a shield," Poseidon explained absently. "Oh, and Hermes got you a bag filled with all manner of things. Oh, and I got you this device, what it does is produce a constant supply of water so you'll never run out. So, yeah, you should be pretty safe...maybe...hopefully...possibly."
Scene 2:
"How the fuck is this safe?!" Percy screamed as he plummeted hundreds of miles down towards the ocean below. He closed his eyes as he got closer to the water, he felt his body slow upon impact but...he didn't feel like he had just dropped hundreds of feet from the air.
He opened his eyes and saw that he could see perfectly underwater, just as good as he could above the water. In fact, he didn't even feel wet at all.
'Oh yeah, son of a sea god', He thought to himself before climbing out of the water and onto the beach. He took a moment and saw that he really wasn't wet at all, nor were his clothes. He took a deep breath before looking ahead of him and pausing when he saw a bunch of men and women dressed in black suits pointing their guns at him.
"Whatever happened it wasn't my fault!" Percy blurted out, putting his hands up.
"We saw you drop a good two hundred feet from the sky and you walk out of the water unharmed a couple of seconds later, what are you?!" One of them yelled.
"Um...a gift from the gods?"
Scene 3 :
"So kid," Nick Fury said, sitting opposite Percy. "Are you ready to talk now?"
"I've been ready to talk since I was a toddler," Percy glared at him, crossing his arms.
"You need to tell me something, kid,"
"You're bald,"
"I'm being serious here,"
"So am I, you're actually bald,"
"You are very frustrating,"
"Thank you, it's on purpose,"
Scene 4:
"I'm sorry, is this a kid?!" Captain America blurted out.
"Hi," Percy said cutely as he waved his hand.
"This is Percy Jackson," Natasha explained with a hand on Percy's shoulder. "He's our adorable little helper," She added with a grin as she pulled on Percy's cheek.
"Oi," Percy slapped her hand away.
"Okay, I'll bite, why is a child helping us?" Tony asked.
"I'm not a child, I'm a teenager," Percy replied.
"There's not much of a difference there,"
"You're just jealous because you're old,"
"Old?!"
"What can this young warrior do?" Thor cut in.
"Well, Percy here is the son of Poseidon," Natasha explained before gesturing to Percy who waved his hands, causing a snake made of water to fly around the room before depositing itself all over Tony's head.
"Was that necessary?" Natasha gave him an amused look.
"Accident," Percy said innocently.
A.N: Hi guys, hope you liked the chapter.
I spent the last couple of weeks reading the Percy Jackson books on my way to work, just finished the fifth book. And got to say, I really like it. Maybe even more than Harry Potter.
