Sitting up I blinked a few times to see nothing but white mist all around me
"Oh hell did I die or something?"

"AHH" I yelled while clutching my head
"OPPS SORRY IT'S BEEN A WHILE SINCE I INTERACTED WITH A NORMAL HUMAN"
A tall bald female figure in a simple white robe stepped out of the mist in front of me.
"Is this better?"
"Yes" I groaned while rubbing my ears.
"Now who are you, where am I?"
"I don't have a name I am merely the anthropomorphic representation of the Morphing Grid"
Blinking I noticed her eyes were shifting as she spoke between black, pink, blue, yellow, red, green and white.
"Oh hell I'm in the power rangers universe aren't I"
She just nodded
"Ok how and why am I here?"
"To be blunt you died due to a blood clot in your brain"
"Huh would have preferred to die in my sleep but at least it would have been quick and painless"
"Indeed as for why I need your help my champion in most of the universe's I monitor is Tommy Oliver, however in one of my universe's he never moved to Angel Grove"
"And you want me to take his place, uh fine at least my after life won't be boring"

Taking a deep breath I nodded "ok when are you sending me"
"To just after Tommy would normally join the other Rangers"

With a sudden flash I squinted my eyes closed as memories assaulted my mind. Growing up as an orphan on the streets before an old guy took me in and taught me to box, winning a few competitions over the years before the old man died, leaving me everything and using the money to move to Angel Grove.
Getting shown around the school by Billy then meeting his friends being abducted by Rita after a Boxing match attacking the Power Rangers and finally being broken free of her control and joining them to fight Rita.
Blinking a few times I took in a simple apartment with a few movie posters on the wall.

Lifting my right arm I activated the teleporter in my communicator reappearing in the command centre.
" Del is something wrong?" Looking up at Zordon's floating head I shook my head.
"I'm not sure something just occurred to me this morning, Rita has had the green power coin for a long time right?"
"That is correct Del"
"Is there any way she could have done something to drain the power from the coin?"
Zordon closed his eyes for a moment in thought.
"Yes there are in dead a few ways she could have done so, I will have to consult a few of our allies to see what we can do to determine if Rita has done something and if need be reverse it"

Nodding my head I waved bye to Zordon as I teleported from the command centre to the park.
"Well getting more reputation should be easy now I wonder if I can find a book on knife fighting or something to boost my bladed weapon skill"
Nodding to myself I headed into the city in search of a second hand book store.
A few hours and a few book stores later I had a few different book's on both knife fighting and kendo in my bag while sitting in the youth centre just reading the first few chapters had already raised my bladed weapon skill by one giving me a damage bonus of two while using a blade.

"I got a few books on knife fighting and kendo I figured they might help me use my dagger better"

Kim asked while leaning on the table to look at me more closely.
"Not a lot mostly just wandering around the park then looking for books"
