Rebecca went to the Jack and Jill bathroom that connected between her room and her brother/Audrey's room, coming in to see Audrey throwing up in the toilet, and she quickly and carefully kneeled down, grabbing her hair from getting messed up, rubbing her back, "Is it what I think, Audrey?".
Audrey roughly spoke, "Yeah...I don't want to jinx it, but from I can tell, I have been throwing up for the past month...This is the worst one ever...Crackers and tea always get rid of it easily before Bucky would notice...I counted the calendar from one of my bags...I think we...we made a baby from our night in Paris, if it's not that night under the stars in the ocean off Mexico...Almost 2 or 3 months...".
"So, that means...?", Rebecca had a bit of an eager tone in her voice. "Yeah, looks like you'll be an aunt again through Bucky...", Audrey chuckled as she took a deep breath.
"You don't seem too excited...", Rebecca said. "I think it's more of just trying to get used to the idea already... I mean; I've guessed for some time so it's not like it's my first time realizing.", Audrey chuckled.
Rebecca nodded, "I suppose that's fair...Wow, this long from Bucky, huh?", and Audrey gave another chuckle, "Yeah...I was planning on telling him and Papi together when he gets back from the mission.".
"Um, you realize that I'm technically the first one you told me?", Rebecca chuckled wryly, and Audrey replied, "Actually, it was my sister, Nena, but that was back when I was guessing...".
Rebecca smiled, "Ah, I see...Well, I ain't angry for that, since she's family too...", and Audrey grabbed a towel as she saw that she's done with throwing up, getting up as Rebecca helped her up, and Audrey looked at her, "Ooh, something happened, has it? You're glowing even more, and you got a little fire in your eyes...".
Blushing, Rebecca brushed a strand over her ear, smiling, "I might, possibly, could, as of right now, is being courted by Dazis...He...He told me that I'm the mate of his visions and that he has been falling in love with me and my daughter for the past month and half ever since we began being friends that night in the gardens...".
Audrey smirked lightly, and Rebecca playfully accused her, gasping with a half-attempted glare, "You knew!", as Audrey chuckled, cleaning herself and flushed the toilet, heading back to her room, with Rebecca following her, "Were you waiting for me to make the first move on Dazis or something?", as they sat on the window seat of Audrey and Bucky's room.
"No, not at all.", Audrey told her. "But I knew about the visions because we've firsthand seen those with the others. Kida and Sia, for example, saw their husbands long before we ever even came on this journey centuries before.".
Rebecca's eyes widened in shock and awe, "Oh, my god...", and Audrey chuckled, "I had about the same reaction too, Rebecca...So, I have no problem for he wouldn't dare harm you or your daughter intentionally without a reason...Wait, how do you know that it's a girl?", looking at her in surprise.
Rebecca smiled, "I gave him permission to check the gender, touching me for the first time there...I gave him a cheek kiss when I got emotional, thanking him after he told me that she's completely healthy, on the way of becoming full developed to full term. That cheek kiss led to him confessing after I had a mini depression breakdown, and then had our first kiss...Gods, Audrey...I'm starting to think that he's really the One for us...He is in love with my daughter as a father that he wants to be...and he truly said the three words to me...He actually was so affectionate and wonderful, and he listened to me when I asked for us to do small steps today like holding hands and all...".
"There's still an issue though, isn't there?", Audrey asked as Rebecca nodded, "Sorry; I'm glad he's so understanding but I feel like I'm only hurting him with how much distance I still give him...".
"Can't blame ya, you just don't want to be hurt again. Anyone reasonable would understand that.", Audrey reassured her with a nod.
Rebecca gratefully smiled, appreciating that Audrey understood where she is coming from, and she replied, "It won't be too long, I can admit that, but I think I need to be courted by Dazis for a while at least.".
Audrey nodded, "That's actually fairly reasonable.", with a smile before checking the room's water clock, "It's almost dinner, and I hope Bucky is done with his shift from helping out with the latest excavation.", with a hum.
Rebecca smiled, "Right. Let me use the bathroom before he gets a quick shower.", getting up with a light grunt, and glanced at Audrey, "Don't worry, I won't tell him, but I have to warn you that it wouldn't get less worse in having morning sickness as if you're right, one month to the third month timeline, it gets worse, but if you are soon to be after the third month, it lessens at least. He's bound to find out sooner or later if your kid is anything like him or you, or maybe both.", with a slight nod.
"Certainly won't be able to hide the stomach sooner or later, that's for sure.", Audrey chuckled. "I'll figure out some way to tell him... just... I don't know right yet...".
Rebecca nodded, and so, went to do her business, and went to join her brother and Audrey to the dining table a while later, and fell asleep peacefully. She then slowly got more comfortable with Dazis with the growing steps of intimacy, realizing that she is falling in love with him as the week passed, as he paid attention to being there with her and of course, her daughter.
She told Bucky of her good news like a sister does, and of course, much to her embarrassment, unknowing yet, but when Bucky got the afternoon off one day, he went to find Dazis, to do his brother routine.
Of course, Bucky was smart enough not to try and put the fear of God into Dazis... at least so forwardly. But at least some subtle reminders that Dazis would be wise not to cross him and do anything similar to what the man that hurt Rebecca had done.
Dazis understood quite clearly what Bucky implied and told him that he would never be a monster to dishonor his morals in hurting his loves of his life unlike that bastard. That satisfied Bucky enough and he can see the familiar look of fierce protection and determined love in Dazis' eyes, just like how Bucky has towards Audrey.
When Rebecca found out that night in the gardens when Dazis was on shift, she was beyond embarrassed, blushing, as Dazis was amused, reassuring her that Bucky didn't threaten him too much, that he was being a good brother, caring a lot for her.
Then that weekend was busy and full of joy and parties for the small group returned with three satchels of Vibranium, with Thaddeus explaining to Kida and Abraham that he had a feeling that he'd need more than the amount needed for the prosthetic, as somehow for some reason, the extra Vibranium was calling to him for something else besides the prosthetic, so they took it as well.
It was indeed very, very deep underground as it turns out that from the map, the blueprint changed to show that there was some stray Vibranium that sunk deeper from the main Vibranium meteorite, and to their relief, it was in neutral land barely of a city's boundaries, being called Wakanda, and the city didn't even notice, maybe because how deep they were.
And of course, the returning group went home respectively, with Milo happily spending time with Toki who is starting to stand and walk wobblily, with Fluffy who became best friends with Toki, and of course, his wife, making love with her throughout the weekend when Toki is asleep or busy.
The same thing went for Thaddeus who happily returned to Abraham and the twins of Rachel and Klaus, and Preston Whitmore who was glad to distract the twins by having some time out while the men spent time together in bed and such.
And for Manuel, he's glad he's having a homemade Atlantean feast of meals as the journey was quite tentative on rations from hunting and the packed food, and there, in a private lunch at Manuel's house, Bucky commented, "You really are going for thirds, Audrey. I thought you were watching your weight or something?".
Audrey glanced at Rebecca who subtly shrugged, and Audrey exhaled, "I ain't just competing with Papi for the food today as I would need it for the incoming months...", with a nervous, excited smile, looking between Bucky and her father.
"What exactly would you need it for in mo-", Bucky was saying before he came to a screeching halt with his sentence as it suddenly clicked, "Wait... are you trying to tell me...?".
Audrey nodded, smiling tenderly as she stroked her small, prominent baby bump, "Yes, Bucky, I'm carrying your baby...our baby..".
Bucky's heart skipped a beat as she's even more beautiful, and he has been getting used to the fact that he'd be a father from any time they made love, and he shuffled closer to kiss her on the lips, whispering, "How long?".
Audrey replied, "Now realizing from what I've observed with our friends, I'm surely around three months...I have a strange feeling it's from that night in Paris, or that night in the ocean under the stars...", with a blushing whisper and smile.
Bucky wrapped his good arm around her, "Audrey...this is the best news ever...", suddenly feeling like he can do anything, and with the best news of the prosthetic work beginning again tomorrow, he's on cloud nine.
Audrey smiled happily, and glanced at her father, and Manuel smiled proudly, "I'm over the moon that I'm going to be a grandfather...At the least, you'll be relieved that you are still allowed to work in the forge with me on the prosthetic and such...All I ask that you must be really vigilant in hydrating yourself and all, is that clear, daughter?".
"Of course, Papi...", Audrey rolled her eyes. "I'm not that foolish.", with a scoff. "I don't know, when you're working on things sometimes... you tend to forget to drink and eat.", Manuel teased.
Audrey blushed, groaning lightly, and Rebecca giggled, smiling, "May I suggest something?", and Manuel nodded, looking curious as Audrey and Bucky looked her way.
"How about a guard for shifts, and when shifts end at an hour or something, they remind you two to drink or nibble on something if the prosthetic forging isn't at a critical step?", Rebecca suggested.
Manuel looked surprised, and then smiled, "That actually sounds reasonable enough to me. Can you handle that, Audrey?", and Audrey nodded, "Definitely. Now, let's finish this meal before it gets cold.", with a smile.
Indeed, the family went to finish lunch, and after hugs and smiles with Manuel, the trio left, and Rebecca's hormones jumped at her when she is wanting the same thing with Dazis after seeing how Bucky is looking at Audrey with desire and love, seeing her like a marvelous discovery, and feeling weird and impolite and not wanting to be near them when they are clearly in the mood for lovemaking, she went to find Dazis.
After hearing from a guard that Dazis has some time off until his shift in the evening, Rebecca knew that he's neither in the library, or at the natural jacuzzi spot, and after greeting some Atlanteans through the downtown part of the city, she came into the library.
She smiled as she saw Dazis reading a scroll, clearly of history, relating to Atlantis and the surface world, and quietly and carefully to not bother the head librarian, she took a seat, resting her sore feet, replying, "What are you reading this time, Dazis?".
Obviously, she caught him a bit off guard as he jumped a bit, "Ah, Rebecca...". He quickly regained his composure, "Snuck up on me there...".
"Not a good thing to hear from a guard that someone can sneak up on them.", Rebecca gave a small grin as she playfully teased him.
Dazis smiled as his heart skipped a beat, seeing her teasing casually with no issue and glowing beautifully, "Touche. Ah, was reading a rather good story of a Atlantean expedition that came to be in the time of Ancient Babylon. Traded with some people there of how we got fruit trees here, in exchange of teaching them of agriculture irrigation techniques.".
"Oh, wow...that's incredible...", Rebecca smiled, stroking her baby bump, "It's amazing how Atlantis was truly a place that taught the beginnings of Ancient Rome, Egypt, Babylon, and so much more...".
Dazis chuckled, "Indeed...How was the meal with the others?", and Rebecca smiled, "Very well, and Audrey announced that she's pregnant with my nephew or niece, about three months along.".
"That's wonderful...I just had done my noon shift an hour and half ago, figuring to put in some reading before finding you to hope if we'd have a dinner date before my next shift...", Dazis smiled as he put down the scroll.
Rebecca smiled, "That sounds wonderful...But I also want to ask you something else...Can we talk in the courtyard privately?", looking at him, as there's a courtyard behind the library, where private spots can be found to talk very personally and of course, be affectionately intimate.
"Sure... something wrong?", Dazis asked as Rebecca grabbed his hand. "Come on and just listen to what I want to say...", she said as he got up and they headed out.
They found a private spot in the far corner of the courtyard, resting on a warm wooden bench, and Dazis looked at her, "Okay, I'm listening.", with a patient nod.
Rebecca took a deep breath, "I want to get comfortable to get into the way of being your mate by starting on pleasure this afternoon...but with clothes on...I don't care if they get wet in the jacuzzi...And tomorrow, slowly at a time with taking clothes off to keeping my underclothes on, and the next day after that, on your birthday, since I don't know the city thoroughly like you do, you pick a special place, not either of our bedrooms since it feels...feels like repeating history...if you know what I mean, and there, after plenty of time for me to get comfortable and horny, we will become mates...I'll become your mate...", with an anxiously excited and nervous smile as her heart is racing since she has really thought this out...
Dazis was practically stunned by hearing her being so overtly forward with things. He honestly didn't even remotely see that coming. Sure, maybe sometime down the road, but not like this in this way. Rebecca chuckled at the look on his face, "Sorry, was that a bit too much all at once for you?".
Dazis exhaled, processing it all, and caressed her hand, looking at her, "I honestly didn't expect it, but you really thought this out, haven't you?", and Rebecca blushed, "Yes, I have...I...I want to be seen by you like not something to conquest or a treasure to possess, but with that look of desire and love, treating me like somebody equal...My hormones are almost jumping on me ever since I wanted to be like Audrey this afternoon...You should have seen Bucky before it got weird for me to notice longer then politely when they got those looks...I...I never thought someone would actually enjoy ravishing and making love with a pregnant woman until I did...Strangely, I feel like that the sperm donor would never do it, ever, but you...I feel like you are one of those people, or am I wrong?", biting her lip nervously.
Dazis shook his head. "Of course not; you're not wrong, but, I guess I'm just a bit nervous myself with things.", he admitted as she smiled, "Trust me, I feel the same but... I can feel something different with you, Dazis, compared to the last man...".
Dazis smiled warmly, "I'm glad to hear that...I love you and your daughter than I ever imagined...", and Rebecca smiled, leaning in to kiss him on the lips and he wrapped his arms around her, closing his eyes, feeling the baby moving quietly.
Then he gasped as he felt her lips tugging at his bottom lip, licking it, and he followed her lead as he let her come in, groaning softly in pleasure as they danced in tongue play, feeling her arms tighten around his neck as she came deeper, and their first French kiss lasted for a minute before they parted away for air, panting lightly, opening his eyes to see want and smug satisfaction in her eyes, "Wow...that was incredible...".
"Why, thank you, Dazis...So?", Rebecca smiled hopefully, and Dazis nodded, "Yes...Let's go with your plan, my Fireheart...You don't mind the jacuzzi?", as they started to get up from the bench, intending to leave the courtyard to their favorite relaxing spot, intending to use the natural jacuzzi more than just dipping their feet like they often did.
Rebecca smiled, "I'd need something to relax myself, and it's the best option I suggested...", looking at him with a warm look, and Dazis smiled, "Fair enough, but I intend to make it the best I could...since this would be my first time in giving you pleasure...", looking almost anxious as he didn't want to mess this up.
