Walking through the grill with Elena and Vicky. Bonnie took her jacket off as she looked around looking for a table to be available for them. Tonight Bonnie just wants to have a few drinks and hangout with her friends, and not have to worry about Jeremy or Anna. Bonnie doesn't even want to think about Jeremy, Anna or the break up. Tonight Bonnie Bennett is officially free and she's gonna take full advantage of it.
" Hey guys, let's take that table over there." Bonnie said as she pointed out the empty table across from the bar. Which is very convenient for Bonnie since she plans on ordering drinks tonight and not to mention there's a very cute Bartender working tonight, which totally works for Bonnie as well.
" Hey did you guys see that cute bartender?" Bonnie asked her friends as they all took their seats at the table. Bonnie looked over her shoulder as she couldn't keep her eyes off him. She's not sure why she keeps staring at the bartender, it's not like she's looking for a, relationship since it's only been two days since she broke up with Jeremy. Hell Bonnie isn't even looking for a one night stand, but who knows it might happen tonight and it might happen with the cute bartender.
Elena looked over as she also noticed the bartender as well." Damn Bon, he's hot. Who is he?" Elena asked with a smirk as she looks at Bonnie.
" His name is Ben McKittrick. He used to play college football with Matt and Tyler during their senior year." Vicki answered with a shrug. Matt was gonna go into the NFL after College, but when Vicki and Matt lost their mom from breast cancer, Matt felt he had to come home and take over the Grill for their mom. Tyler Lockwood was the only one who went into the NFL.
" He never went into the NFL with Tyler?" Bonnie asked curiously as she turned around and took a drink of her ice water as she started to look over the drink menu.
" Got no idea really. But according to Matty Ben just wasn't interested in going pro. So Matt hired Ben as the bartender." Vicki answered as she shrugs her shoulders again.
" Hmm." Bonnie responds as she set the drink menu down." Hey did I tell you guys that Caroline invited me to New Orleans this weekend?"
" Really? Why?" Elena asked as she was wondering why Caroline would invite Bonnie to New Orleans instead of her.
Bonnie shrugs her shoulders." Because, I guess Klaus' company is having some kind of dinner party and she was hoping that I would be Kol Mikelson's date. But according to Caroline he's taking some woman name Davina Clare and I'm off the hook."
" That's why, she invited you? So you can be Klaus' brother's date?" Vicki asked as she brought her eyebrows together in confusion.
Bonnie nods her head." Yep, but I invited her to come back home next weekend instead, and she said that she'll talk to Klaus and see if he's free for next weekend." Bonnie answered.
Vicki nods her head as she got up from her seat." I'm gonna go over to the bar and order our drinks." Vicki announced as she took her wallet out of her purse. Once both Bonnie and Elena told Vicki what kind of drinks they wanted, Vicki walked over to the bar.
" So, how you doing Bon? You doing alright? " Elena asked with concern. It only been two days since Bonnie and Jeremy broke up, and even though Bonnie is acting like everything is fine. Elena could tell Bonnie's still hurting.
Bonnie sighs with a eye roll as she was getting really annoyed with Elena's questions." Elena, for the millionth time. I am fine. So please do me a favor and stop worrying." Bonnie answered as soon as she noticed Vicki coming back with their drinks.
" Thanks, Vic." Bonnie said as she took her glass of wine from Vicki. As Bonnie was about to take the first drink, she froze as she suddenly noticed Jeremy and Anna walking towards a table across from them." Oh, you gotta be kidding me." Bonnie took a deep breath as she took one huge gulp of her wine.
" What?" Elena asked with concern as she whipped her head and also noticed her little brother with Anna." Oh no. Do you want to get out of here, and go somewhere else?" Elena asked Bonnie.
Bonnie shook her head." No, I am not gonna let Jeremy or Anna ruin my night." Bonnie answered as she got up from her seat and walked towards the bar, and orders something little stronger than wine this time. This wasn't suppose to happen. Tonight Bonnie was supposed to forget all about Jeremy Gilbert. But how can she? When he's sitting right across from her.
" Should we get Bonnie out of here?" Vicki asked as she looks at Elena with concern.
Elena sighs as she shook her." No, let's just keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't do something stupid." Elena can't believe Jeremy would actually show up in the grill with Anna tonight, especially when he knew how it was gonna affect Bonnie this way.
" What can I get you?" One of the bartenders asked as he watched Bonnie taking a seat on one of the barstools.
" Just give me your strongest alcohol." Bonnie answered as she handed the bartender her credit card. Once the bartender set a glass of bourbon right in front of Bonnie. Bonnie just gave a nod and took a drink of the bourbon as she grimace a little as she could feel the warm liquor sliding down her throat.
" Hey there Bonnie." Damon said gently as he took a seat beside her." What are you doing here?" He asked with curiously as he ordered himself a glass of Bourbon as well.
" Vicki and Elena sorta dragged me out tonight, for a few drinks." Bonnie answered as she took another drink of her bourbon.
" Why aren't you sitting with them?"
Bonnie sighs as she took a huge drink and slams the glass down on the bar." Because sitting right across from us is Jeremy and his new pregnant girl friend." Bonnie answered as she orders another glass of bourbon.
" Ah, I see. But are you sure you want that second glass?" Damon asked with concern as he knows how strong bourbon is and he knows Bonnie is gonna have a huge headache tomorrow. He's had a quite a few or more of bourbon himself and he knows how it'll affect him the next morning.
Bonnie nods her head as she picked up the glass." Why? Worried that I can't handle it? Well don't. Because I can handle it and I will be fine Damon." Bonnie said as she took a drink of her bourbon." So, what brings you here? I thought Elena said you were hanging out with Stefan tonight."
Damon chuckled as he nods his head" Oh I'm sure you can handle it. But on the safe side I think I'm going to keep an eye on you, and that was the plan. But looks like Baby bro had other plans." Damon said as he took a drink.
" Let me guess those plans involved with two little children?" Bonnie asked with a smirk as she teases him a little.
Damon nods his head. " Bingo." He answered with a chuckle." But it's cool though."
About few hours and about five drinks later Bonnie lay her head against the bar as she groans softly as she starts to wonder how the hell she let herself drink that much. Feeling strong arms pulling her off from the barstool. Bonnie threw her arms around his neck as she laid against his chest." Damon?"
" Yeah Bon." Damon answered gently.
" I want to go home." Bonnie said softly as she closed her eyes.
" I will take you home." Damon said as he carried Bonnie out of the grill and towards his car. Both Elena and Vicki were gonna get Bonnie home but Damon told them both not to worry and he'll make sure that Bonnie gets home okay, and he promised Elena that he will call and let her know how Bonnie's doing.
Placing Bonnie down in his back seat. He sighs softly as he gently reached over and gently brushed a few strands of hair away from Bonnie's forehead." I'm so sorry that your hurting like this Bon." Damon never really liked Jeremy and seeing Bonnie hurting because of that little punk, is really making Damon want to kill the douche bag. Even if he's Elena's little brother.
The next morning Bonnie slowly her eyes but once the sunlight hit her eyes. Bonnie quickly shut her eyes tightly as she groans in pain as she pinched the bridge of her nose as she could feel her head pounding as she slowly sat up." What the hell happened last night?" Bonnie asked herself as she was trying to remember what happened. She remembered going to the Grill with Elena and Vicki. She sorta remember seeing Damon there as well. But the rest was just a blur.
" Well, looks who decided to wake up. Good morning sunshine." Damon greeted Bonnie as he walked to the side of Bonnie's bed and hands her a glass of water and two Asprins for her headache." I told you having that bourbon was dangerous." He chuckled as he sat down against Bonnie's window shield.
" How you feeling?"
" Like someone has been drilling my head with a damn jack hammer." Bonnie answered as she took a huge a gulp of her water she popped two Asprins in her mouth. She sighs deeply as she rubs the bridge of her nose." What happened last night?"
" Well, what exactly do you remember?"
" I remember going to the grill with Elena and Vicki. I think I remember seeing you there. But that's all I can remember though." Bonnie answered as she took another drink of her water. Reaching for her phone Bonnie gasps as she saw all the text messages she sent to Jeremy last night.
" Oh my God, please don't tell me that I actually sent Jeremy all those text messages?" Bonnie asked as she groans in embarrassment as she placed both hands against her face. She blew out some air as she ran fingers through her hair as she looks over at Damon.
" Thanks for bringing me home last night." Bonnie said with a small smile.
Damon nods his head as he returned the smile again." Anytime Bon."
" you really don't have to stay and keep watching me Damon. I'm sure you got other things to do instead of babysitting me." Bonnie chuckled lightly as she stops for a moment." Where did you sleep last night anyway?"
" I just slept on the couch last night. Are you hungry? I can fix you something." Damon offered.
Bonnie shook her head no as she wasn't hungry right now." Maybe I will eat something later. My head is still pounding and I was gonna see if I can try to get some sleep." Bonnie answered as she laid back down and closed her eyes as she rubs her forehead as she sighs softly.
Damon nods his head as he watched Bonnie laying back down. Damon probably should leave and let Bonnie rest. But he doesn't think leaving Bonnie right now is an option right now. So he decided to go down stairs instead and he'll check on Bonnie later.
The moment Damon stepped out of Bonnie's room and once he closed her bedroom door behind him. Damon suddenly felt his cell viberating in his pocket. Damon sighs as he pulled his cell out of his pocket. He rolled his eyes as he sighs exasperatedly once he answered the call.
" What can I do for you Katherine?" Damon asked sarcastically.
