Spending the weekend with Caroline was definitely something Bonnie needed to take her mind off of everything that has been happening for the last month. Bonnie, Elena, Caroline and Vicki truly had a blast this weekend and Bonnie would never forget it. Being with her best friends felt like old times, and she missed it. After getting dress for work Bonnie suddenly started to smell breakfast cooking in her kitchen.

" Damon?" Bonnie asked with curiously as she thought Damon had already left this morning, since he stayed the night sleeping on her couch for the past two nights and she assumed that he finally went home this morning. Walking downstairs leading towards her kitchen. Bonnie stopped in the middle of the kitchen as she noticed Damon standing over her stove, cooking dinner.

" What's all this?" Bonnie asked with a small smile as she walked over to the kitchen table and sat down as she continues to watch Damon cooking breakfast.

" It's called breakfast Bonnie." Damon answered as he placed a plate full of eggs with bacon and breakfast potatoes right in front of Bonnie along with a cup of hot coffee.

Bonnie chuckled as she nods her head." I can see that, it's just I never thought of you as the cooking type that's all." Bonnie said with a smirk as she took a huge bite of her eggs that Damon prepared for her. Bonnie hums in satisfaction as she couldn't believe how delicious the eggs were." These are really good." She said as she took another bite before taking a drink of her coffee.

Damon smirks as he was very pleased that Bonnie was enjoying her breakfast. " I'm glad you like it. So, I was thinking and I want to take you out this Friday night." Damon said as he took a drink of his coffee before setting his cup down.

" You want to take me out? Like on a date?" Bonnie asked skeptically as she raised her brows for a moment. " Why?"

" Do I really need a reason?" Damon asked with a smirk.

Bonnie shrugs her shoulders." I guess not. It's just that it's been a month since Jeremy and I broke up and I don't know if I'm ready to go out on a date just yet. Besides wouldn't be kinda awkward for us to start dating, considering we're friends?" It's not that Bonnie likes Damon because it's clearly that she does, like a lot actually. She's just not sure if she's truly ready to date Damon yet.

" No, I don't think it would be awkward at all. As matter of fact, I think it would be fun, and I think we both would have a great time." Damon answered with a grin. Damon obviously wants Bonnie there's no denying it. He always wanted her since the night they were at mystic grill a few weeks ago. But of course he held back because she was still hurting over Jeremy... but now he wants to see if something more can happen between them, and he's hoping she'll agree to go out on a date with him this Friday night.

" Can you give me a few days to think about it?" Bonnie asked as she didn't want to give an answer just yet.

Damon nods his head." Yeah, I can give you a few days. Are you ready to go to work?" Damon asked as he stood up and took his plate along with Bonnie's and walked over to the sink and started to rinse them off before setting them into the dishwasher.

" Yeah, I'm ready. But you don't have to drive me Damon." Bonnie answered as she hands him the coffee cups as she grabs her purse and car keys when she felt Damon reaching out for her hand and takes her keys away from her.

" I know I don't have to. But I want to." Damon said as he set her keys back down on the kitchen counter. " Come on we should get going, before you end up being late and I end up feeling guilty for getting you fired." He said with a chuckle as he placed his hand against her back as he leads her out the door.

After Bonnie walked away from her customer's table. Bonnie walked around the counter and sat down beside Elena and Jenna." So, um Damon asked me out for Friday night." All morning all Bonnie been thinking about Damon wanting to take her out this Friday night and she's been debating on if she should go or not.

" Wow, seriously? Damon asked you on a date?" Elena asked in shock as she never thought Damon would actually ask her best friend out. She knew that they been hanging out for a month. She just didn't realize that it was getting serious between them already.

" Yeah." Bonnie answered as she nods her head as she stood up and helped a couple of paterons that walked up to the counter.

" Are you going to go out with him?" Jenna asked while Bonnie was giving the paterons their change after they took their coffees to go. Jenna just recently heard about Anna being pregnant with Jeremy's baby and she's not too happy about it or with Jeremy either.

Bonnie shrugs her shoulders as she turned around and leans back against the counter." I don't know, I told him I needed a few days to think about it." A part of her would like to go to out on a date with Damon, just to see where things might go. But another part of her is afraid of getting hurt again.

" Do you, guys think I should go out with him?" Bonnie asked them as she wanted their opinion about it.

" Yeah, I think you should. Bonnie it's been a month since you and Jeremy broke up, and even though I want to kill my little brother for hurting you. You deserve to be happy and if that means going on a date with Damon, then I say go for it. Who knows you might have a great time." Elena said with a smirk.

Bonnie chuckled. " Yeah, Damon said the same thing this morning". Bonnie blew out a breath as she nods her head. " Okay, I will go out with Damon this Friday night." Bonnie snorts a little as she can't believe she's about to go out on a date with Damon Salvatore. She just hopes that the date won't changed things between them, but she has a feeling it might and she'll be okay with it.

AN: Short chapter, don't worry the next chapter is gonna be little longer. Well looks like Bonnie is actually going out on a date with Damon Salvatore. This should be fun. Leave reviews as always.
