Lobo sat alongside Charlie in her limo as they made their way to the theater. The sun was beginning to set. Lobo glanced over at Charlie, who seemed lost in thought.
"How have you been holding up, Charlie?" Lobo asked, breaking the silence. He could see the worry in her eyes and wanted to make sure she was okay.
Charlie let out a heavy sigh. "I'm hanging in there, Lobo," she said, her voice tinged with sadness.
Lobo nodded, understanding. He knew that Charlie had been struggling ever since her parents recently split up. It had been a rough time for her, and he hated seeing her so down.
It was weird that Lucifer and Lilith split because at first they were such a happy couple. There was something weird on how Lilith acted like something changed about her. Lilith disappeared for a couple of days, then out of nowhere she was a different person.
"And then there's the whole Seviathan situation," Charlie continued, a bitter tone creeping into her voice. "I can't believe he just dumped me out of the blue like that."
Lobo scowled at the mention of Seviathan was the same as Riser. "That guy was a real piece of shit," he muttered. "You're better off without him."
Charlie smiled faintly at Lobo's words. "Yeah, I know. It's just hard, you know?"
Lobo nodded solemnly. He couldn't imagine what Charlie was going through, but he wanted to support her in any way he could.
"Hey, at least you are putting that behind you now," Lobo said, trying to lighten the mood as he hugged Charlie. "We can escape all this drama and check up on the building your mom left for you."
Charlie chuckled, the sound lifting some of the weight off her shoulders. "Yeah, you're right. Thanks, Lobo. I really appreciate you taking your time and helping me."
As they continued on their way, a sense of comfort settled between them. Charlie was grateful to have Lobo as a friend, and help her through a tough time.
Eventually, they arrived at the building, the familiar sight of the neon lights and bustling activity. This was the theater that Lilith used to perform her shows along with Lucifer. Now Charlie can turn it into something more better and help her people.
"Why don't you do the honors, Charlie." Lobo said.
Charlie grinned back at him, and for a moment, she was able to forget all her troubles. With Lobo by her side, she knew she could get through anything. She held out her hand and her cat KeKe appeared as the cat purrs and then hopped off Charlie's hand. She rubs her body on Charlie and then to Lobo to show them affection.
"Alright KeKe you know what to do girl." Charlie asked as KeKe meowed in response then transformed into a key.
Charlie held KeKe and unlocked the door and she cautiously pushed open the creaky doors of the abandoned theater, its once-grand facade now weathered and worn. The air inside was heavy with the scent of neglect, and a fine layer of dust covered the lobby.
KeKe transforms back into her cat form and she lays on top of Lobo shoulder to rest. Charlie, with a spark of determination in her eyes, turned to Lobo.
"This place may be run down, but it's the perfect canvas for my dream," she said, her voice echoing through the empty hall. "Redemption for the sinners starts here."
Lobo grinned. "You've got yourself a crazy dream, Charlie, but I believe in you. Let's see what we can do with this dump."
As they explored the dilapidated theater, Charlie outlined her vision for a place where those seeking redemption could find solace. Lobo, surprisingly captivated by her passion, nodded in agreement. "You might just pull this off, Charlie. It'll take some time though so don't expect results right away."
"You are right, so are you ready to help me clean this place up?" Charlie said
"We've got a lot of work to do, and it'll probably take us a while to clean this place up." Lobo said, rubbing his hands together and then snapping his fingers as his and Charlie's clothes changed into overalls. "But don't worry, I've got a little trick up my sleeve that will save us a lot of time." He said with a grin.
Charlie raised an eyebrow at him, curious. "What kind of trick?" she asked.
Lobo chuckled and snapped his fingers. Suddenly, multiple clones of himself appeared out of thin air, each one identical to the other. Charlie gasped in amazement, her jaw dropped in shock.
"Whoa, how did you do that?!" she exclaimed, staring at the clones in awe as she pokes them as they reacted to her. He was able to make real physical clone of himself.
Lobo shrugged "Just a little something I've been practicing with. Come in handy in situations like this." He replied casually, summoning more clones to help with the cleaning.
"Alright boys, let's get this place cleaned up for Charlie." Lobo said as his clones saluted and began cleaning up.
As Lobo's clones scurried around, bringing back buckets of paint, plaster, and various tools, Charlie couldn't help but be amazed at his powers. She had always known that he was special, but seeing him in action was truly something else.
As she watched him and clones work, she blushing at the sudden surge of attraction she felt towards him as he helped her when could've been with Octavia today. Unlike Seviathan who was a piece of shit who dismissed her dream. She compared him to Lobo and he came up inadequate.
The furthest they ever went, no matter what he's told people, she gave him a blowjob once, he refused to return the favor. And from what Octavia told her about Lobo skills in bed is that he can prove satisfaction that leaves Octavia seeing stars.
She couldn't help but wonder if he was a better option than Seviathan, but she quickly shook her head, knowing she couldn't allow herself to betray her friend in such a way.
'Maybe', she thought, she could talk to Octavia about it. After all, harems were the norm in Hell, and sharing partners was often accepted. But then she pushed the thought away, feeling guilty even for considering it. She couldn't bring herself to hurt Octavia, even if it meant sacrificing her own desires.
As they worked, the lobby slowly began to transform. The walls were repaired and painted, and the floor was spotless once again. Lobo and Charlie stood back, admiring their handiwork with a sense of accomplishment.
"Thanks for your help, Lobo," Charlie said, hugging him as she smiled. "I couldn't have done it without you."
Lobo smiled back "No problem, Charlie. It was actually kind of fun. Now all there is to do is to make some renovation and get this place to start looking like a hotel."
As Charlie sat on the couch she couldn't help but steal a few more glances at Lobo as he put up the supplies. She couldn't deny the attraction she felt for him. With a sigh, maybe she should talk to Octavia and see if something can work out between them.
Then the blaring sound of alarms pierced the air. Startled, they both grabbed their phones, only to be met with a chilling message about the early commencement of Extermination Day.
"Guess it's showtime earlier than expected," Lobo sighed, his eyes narrowing with resignation. He turned to Charlie, "We're hunkering down until this mess blows over."
Nodding in agreement, Charlie clutched her phone tightly. Lobo dialed Octavia as the call connected, he spoke with a reassuring tone.
"Hey, babe, extermination started early. I'll be staying with Charlie until it's over. Don't worry; we'll be safe."
Octavia's concerned voice came through the speaker, "Just promise me you'll be careful, Lobo. I love you." Lobo smiled, "I love you too, Octavia. I'll come home soon after the Extermination." He ended the call, tucking the phone away.
Lobo and Charlie sat in tense silence, hearing the distant screams of sinners and the eerie laughter of exterminators. Charlie's eyes welled with tears as the chaos unfolded outside.
"Do you think we're doing the right thing Lobo? Staying inside instead of helping the sinners and providing protection." Charlie whispered, her voice trembling.
Lobo as he pulled her closer and comforted her, "All we can do is wait it out, Charlie. I know you want to go out there and help your people but all we can do is sit tight until it's over. "
After what felt like an eternity, the alarms finally ceased. Charlie turned to Lobo. "Can you come with me to see if we can help any sinners that are still alive." She asked.
Although hesitant at first, Lobo couldn't resist her pleading gaze, he sighs then nods.
As they stepped outside, the grim aftermath of Extermination Day lay before them. Streets were littered with the dead sinners, and Charlie's heart sank at the sight of her people. Moving cautiously, they encountered two women who were stockpiling angelic weapons. Lobo recognized them as Carmilla daughters.
The first sister is a female sinner with puce skin, short and curly cream hair tied up in a ponytail and dark lips, her eyes has red sclera and white irises, and small black horns atop her head. She wears a black turtleneck top that exposes her midriff, dark gray jeans with a black belt, black fingerless gloves, and ballet shoes. Her name is Clara.
The second sister is a female sinner of tall and slim stature. She has pale white skin, light blonde hair that's tied up in a short ponytail, eyes with red sclera and white irises, and small black horns atop her head. She wears a pair of circular rimmed glasses with red tinted lenses, a long white buttoned lab coat over a high neck top, long black gloves, and a pair of silver pointé shoes resembling her mother's. Her name is Odette.
The two sisters waved at Lobo and Charlie then went back to collecting the angelic weapons for their mother.
As the two walked around Charlie spotted a woman by a dumpster. The female wore what appears to be a light gray one-shouldered bra under a white minidress with loose straps with two light gray crosses on her chest and a scalloped-trim at the bottom. In addition, she also wore a light gray belt around her waist.
Without a second thought, Charlie rushed over to the woman, her heart aching at the sight of her. As she got closer, she noticed that the woman was missing her left eye.
"Lobo, come quick!" Charlie called out, her voice trembling with emotion. "She needs our help."
Lobo's head snapped up at Charlie's urgency, and he quickly jogged over to where she was crouched beside the injured woman. With a sharp intake of breath, Lobo saw the woman's condition and immediately summoned his bag of medical supplies and passed it to Charlie.
Efficiently, Charlie began to patch up the woman's wound, her hands working diligently despite the trembling in her fingers. She could sense Lobo's worry as he watched her, but she was focused on saving the woman's life.
After several minutes of cleaning the woman's eye socket was securely bandaged. But Charlie knew that this was only a temporary solution. The woman needed a proper recovery and medical attention.
"Lobo, we need to take her to the hotel. She can't stay out here like this," Charlie said, her eyes pleading with him.
Lobo nodded in agreement, his heart heavy at the sight of the injured woman. He carefully lifted her as he carried her in his arms and started to make their way back to the hotel.
As they reached the hotel, Charlie opened the door with a creak, and they made their way to the couch in the Lobby.
Gently, Lobo placed the woman on the couch, and she immediately passed out from exhaustion and relief. Charlie's heart squeezed at the sight of the woman's vulnerability. She had likely barely escaped the wrath of the exterminators.
"Is she going to be okay?" Charlie asked, her voice trembling with worry.
Lobo put a hand on her shoulder, reassuringly. "She's just sleeping, Charlie. She'll be alright. We'll take care of her."
Charlie nodded, grateful for Lobo's calmness. She knew that she tended to get overly emotional in situations like this, and was thankful that Lobo could calm her down.
Together, they took turns keeping watch over the woman throughout the night, making sure she was comfortable and safe. And as the sun started to rise, the woman began to stir, her lone eye fluttering open.
She looked around in confusion, her one good eye darting around the room, until it landed on Charlie and Lobo.
"Who are you?" she asked, her voice hoarse and weak.
Lobo noticed this and went to get her a glass of water from the kitchen. He handed her the water as she drank the water before handing him back the glass.
"I'm Charlie and this is Lobo," Charlie said with a gentle smile. "We found you in the alleyway after the Extermination and brought you here to rest."
The woman's face softened and gratitude shone in her eye. "Thank you both for helping me. My name is Vaggie." The now named Vaggie said.
"Don't worry about it, Vaggie," Lobo said with a small smile. "We're just glad we could help."
"Can you watch her while I go make some calls real quick?" Charlie asked and Lobo nodded as she went somewhere to talk privately.
Lobo leaned against the edge of the couch. "You know, Vaggie, I've got a feeling' I know more 'bout you than you might want me to."
Vaggie sat up, a mix of curiosity and apprehension in her expression. Before she could say anything, Lobo raised a hand, signaling her to let him continue as he sat down next to her.
"Don't worry, I'm not gonna do anything to you. But there's something I wanna know about how exterminator fell into this situation."
She sighed, her gaze flickering away for a moment before she began to speak. "I was an exterminator, just doing my job. Then I cornered a sinner child and right before i could strike him something about those innocent eyes made me hesitate."
Lobo's interest grew as he listened intently, his crimson eyes focused on her. "Go on," he urged.
"I couldn't bring myself to exterminate the kid. Instead, I told him to run, to get away from all this. But before I could even blink, Adam and Lute caught up to me. Adam told Lute to seek whatever punishment she saw fit." Vaggie recounted.
Lobo's jaw clenched at the mention of Adam. "Of course it was that damn bastard, always hated that douche" he muttered under his breath.
He met Adam in passing a couple of times after hanging out with Emily. The damn bastard is narcissist and chauvinist and also developed a god complex for having fathered the beginning humanity. He didn't know what Lute saw in Adam as he saw plenty of time Adam degrades her and insults her. He hopes she can turn her life around before Adam ruins it.
Vaggie continued, "Lute cut out my eye and wings, leaving me to die. I was bleeding out, abandoned. I disposed of my exterminator outfit and found these clothes. I must have blacked out for a while. When I woke up to you and Charlie I didn't know what to make of it, but you didn't finish what they started. Instead, You both helped me, an exterminator."
you even patched me up and gave me a second chance."
Lobo's smile faltered a bit, but he quickly recovered. "Hey, we've all done things we're not proud of. It's what we do now that matters."
Vaggie looked up at Lobo "Do you really believe that?"
"Absolutely," Lobo replied, placing a reassuring hand on Vaggie's shoulder. "Everyone deserves a second chance, Vaggie. That includes you."
Tears welled up in Vaggie's eye and she threw her arms around Lobo in a tight hug. "Thank you, Lobo. I really needed to hear that."
Lobo hugged her back and whispered, "Anytime Vaggie. You know what, how about you join Charlie and me in turning this building into a rehabilitation hotel for sinners. Maybe with your help we can achieve Charlie's dream of redeeming her people." Lobo said.
Right before Vaggie responded Charlie came into the lobby as she saw Lobo and Vaggie sitting close to each other. "What's going on here, guys?" she asks, a curious expression on her face. "Is everything alright?"
Lobo tries to wave it off, but Vaggie jumps in, her eye shining with determination. "Lobo was just telling me about your plans for this building, Charlie," she says. "And I want to help. I want to be a part of making your dream a reality."
Charlie's eyes widen in surprise, and she looks at Vaggie with disbelief. "Really Y-you want to help me?"
Vaggie nods firmly. "Yes, I do. I believe in what you're trying to do here, Charlie. I want to be a part of redeeming the sinners and helping them find their way to Heaven."
Charlie's eyes fill with tears, and she rushes forward to embrace Vaggie. "Thank you," she whispers, her voice trembling with emotion. "Thank you so much, Vaggie."
Lobo watches the emotional scene unfold, feeling a surge of hope for the first time in a long while. Maybe this crazy idea of turning a building into a hotel for sinners wasn't so crazy after all. Maybe, just maybe, they could make a real difference in the world.
Lobo then checks his phone and notices the time. "Sorry to leave you like this Charlie but I gotta return home. I'll come back next time to help you with the renovation." Lobo said.
Charlie nods "Alright Lobo. I'm sure Octavia is worried about you. I'll see you later and thank you for everything." She said as she gave him a hug.
Lobo waved goodbye to Charlie and Vaggie before he teleported back to Goetia manor.

(A Week later)
Lobo stood in front of Stolas as the Owl demon asked for his assistance today.
"Lobo," Stolas addressed him with a serious tone, "I have a troubling situation that requires your attention. A human client in England has abruptly stopped responding to my contracts, and I fear something may have happened to him. I need you to check on them and find out why they have not reported."
Lobo nodded, acknowledging the gravity of the task before him. Stolas handed him a piece of paper that emitted the person's scent. "Use this to track their location," Stolas instructed. With a deep breath, Lobo inhaled the scent, and immediately, the information flooded his senses.
"I will find them and report back," Lobo assured Stolas. With a nod of approval, Stolas watched as Lobo's form blurred and vanished into thin air with the sound of static.
As Lobo materialized with the sound of static on the outskirts of a serene English countryside, he quickly shifted into his human form to better navigate with a disguise. His keen senses led him to follow the scent, which guided him through the dense forests until he arrived at the entrance of a cavern.
The scent grew stronger, pulling him deeper into the cavern. Lobo's sharp eyes adjusted to the lack of light, and with a stroke of luck, he discovered an abandoned torch. He inhaled deeply and exhaled as a small stream of fire, igniting the torch and illuminating his path.
With the light guiding him, Lobo ventured deeper into the cave. The scent led him through a maze of passages until he encountered a dead-end. Undeterred, he carefully inspected the walls, searching for any hidden passages.
To his relief, he found a small, concealed opening on the wall. Pushing it revealed a secret staircase Descending the staircase, Lobo found himself in a cavern adorned with an array of holy symbols. The air felt heavy with holy energy. He deduced that he was dealing with exorcists.
Then he stumbled upon a heavy oak door and he paused to seek help from Kyoka and Ddraig.
"Kyouka, Ddraig, I need your help," Lobo said earnestly. "How should we proceed?"
Kyouka responded first. "Lobo, I think you need to be cautious. We're entering dangerous territory and we can't afford to make any mistakes. We need to plan our next move carefully and consider all the possible outcomes."
Ddraig nodded in agreement. "I agree with Kyouka. We can't rush into anything without thinking it through first. There are too many variables at play and we need to be prepared for any situation that may arise."
Lobo took in their words, grateful for their input and he trusted their judgment implicitly.
"Thank you, both of you," Lobo said, feeling reassured. "I needed to hear that. I'll take your advice to heart and proceed with caution. We'll make our next move carefully and ensure that we're prepared for whatever comes our way." he said as he slowly opened the door.
As he entered, the door let out a loud groan which made Lobo cringe. He then noticed that the interior was that of a catholic church. As he was walking inside the lit sanctuary taking in his surroundings, Lobo noticed a body hung across the cross in the chancel area and walked towards it cautiously.
And as he approached the corpse he inspected the body and saw the word 'Sinner' engraved on the chest, a clear sign of an exorcism.
"Damn it seems the client got caught by the exorcist and paid the price for working with a devil. Well it seems I can tell Stolas why he hasn't heard back from the client." Lobo said.
Feeling a sudden presence, Lobo quickly summoned Enma. In one swift move, he deflected a sword that was aimed at him. To his surprise, there were a dozen exorcists in Catholic robes surrounding him.
He knew he was outnumbered, but he refused to go down without a fight. "Listen guys um we don't have to fight and we all can go our separate ways and no one dies." He said but he saw the looks in their eyes and saw him as nothing more than a devil, an enemy to be vanquished.
As soon as one of the exorcists yelled "Die Devil scum" they all charged at Lobo, their blades and daggers coated in holy energy.
'Well partner you gave them a choice now they reap what they sow.' Ddraig said as Lobo snorted.
Lobo swiftly went on the defensive, dodging and deflecting their attacks. He was impressed by the exorcists' skill and speed, but he was also determined to survive.
In the midst of the chaos, one exorcist managed to land a lucky strike, driving a holy dagger into Lobo's chest, rupturing his heart. Lobo fell to his back, gasping for air as the exorcists laughed in triumph. They were convinced that they had finally killed the devil scum.
But to their surprise, Lobo suddenly got up and pulled the dagger out of his chest. The exorcists saw his heart reformed and the wound closed up. He looked at the exorcists with amusement, chuckling at their foolishness. "Really, you thought you killed me?" he said with a smirk. "Nah, I'm built different."
With those words, Lobo inhaled huge amounts of oxygen, increasing the pumping of blood through his entire body. He then assume a high stance as he sword burst into flames, 'Hi no kokyū (Sun Breathing): Nichiun no Ryū Kaburimai (Sun Halo Dragon Head Dance)', before unleashing a series of slashes in a fluid motion, in the form of a Japanese dragon made of solar flames.
The exorcists didn't stand a chance against the powerful attack as they raised the blades to stop the attack. In one swift move, Lobo decapitated all of them. As their heads rolled to the ground, Lobo sheathed his sword, Enma, back into its scabbard and sent it back to his grimoire. The sanctuary was now littered with the dead bodies of the exorcists.
Lobo took a moment to catch his breath before looking at the dead bodies he whispered to himself, "Nah, I'd win."
As he was walking back to the body of the dead client he noticed skid marks underneath the altar. He pushed the altar and noticed a hatched door and opened it. He saw a ladder and decided to descend down to see what was down there.
As he made way to the bottom he noticed it was some treasure room they must have built. Lobo noticed on one of the pedestal there was a sword that was radiating holy energy. It is a two-handed sword with a round pommel at the end. It also has a purple cross-guard that slightly curves forward.
To his surprise, he heard Ddraig laughing. "What so funny Ddraig?" Lobo asked.
'Well partner it seemed that you stumbled upon a fragment of the holy sword, Excalibur, known as Excalibur Ruler. It seemed you were dealing with rogue exorcists.' Ddraig said.
Without hesitation, Lobo picked up the sword. As he can feel the holy energy radiating from the sword as he gave the sword a couple swings. He then opened his grimoire and placed the sword inside.
"Well I guess it's time that I wrapped this up and headed back to Stolas. I have talked to Michael and Gabriel about what I found after this." Lobo said as he made his way back to the cave entrance.
As he exits the cave he punches the wall of the cave and then the entrance of the cave crumbles down blocking anyone from entering. Right before he was about to leave he felt someone watching him.
"Show yourself I know you are hiding over there!"
There was a rustle in the bushes and a feminine figure emerged. As she stepped into the light, Lobo's eyes widened in recognition. It was Kuroka, the infamous stray nekoshou devil who had murdered her master.
Kuroka is a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure, long black hair with split bangs, and hazel-gold eyes with cat-like pupils. Her attire consists of a black kimono, a yellow obi, a set of golden beads, and an ornately detailed headband. The kimono features a red interior and it is open at her shoulders, giving view to her large breasts which rival those of Rias and Akeno in terms of size. And she has a pair of black cat ears and two black tails.
"What do you want, Kuroka?" Lobo asked.
Kuroka's eyes gleamed with curiosity as she responded, "So you are the one who Ophis has chosen for her champion and the rival to Vali. You are the one who they are talking about lately as Ophis threatened to kill Vali for trying to attack you. And Vali has decided to declare you as her rival since you are the new Red Dragon Emperor ~Nya." She said.
"So what was the reason that you wanted to see me?" Lobo asked cautiously.
Kuroka smirked as she walked up to him and rubbed against him as he could feel her breast. "I wanted to see for myself if the rumors were true. And I must say, you didn't disappoint. I was hoping you could pump your dragon seed in my fertile pussy and give me some powerful kittens ~Nya." She said licking his neck as he felt her rough tongue.
Lobo was taken aback by her words as he was flabbergasted at what she just said. But before he could respond, Kuroka grabbed him, using her senjutsu techniques to enhance her already impressive strength and threw him through a bunch of trees.
She flew towards Lobo with lightning speed, throwing a punch at him. Lobo, with quick reflexes, dodged her attack and countered with a punch of his own. But Kuroka wasn't phased. She used her enhanced strength to punch Lobo in the head, making him stumble back. She then followed up with a kick to his stomach, sending him crashing into a nearby tree.
But Lobo was not one to be taken down easily. He quickly got up and with a fierce determination in his eyes, he charged towards Kuroka. She saw him coming and tried to dodge, but Lobo was too quick for her. He grabbed the tree where she was standing next to and smacked her with it. However, to his surprise, her body disappeared in a puff of smoke. Lobo realized it was just a shadow clone, but before he could react, he felt a presence behind him.
Kuroka had used her speed to teleport behind Lobo and launch a barrage of blue fireballs at him. But Lobo was prepared. He quickly cast a shield spell that repelled the fireballs back at Kuroka. This caught her off guard and before she could react, she was hit by her own attack. Lobo then took advantage of the situation and grabbed Kuroka in a hold.
But Kuroka decided to play a little trick on Lobo. She decided to teased him "Ara-Ara is the big bad wolf going to fuck me from behind ~Nya". This made Lobo stumble and lose his grip on her. Kuroka quickly took this opportunity to strike, hitting Lobo once again with her enhanced strength. As the two faced each other as Lobo wiped the blood from his mouth.
Before he could say anything a purple portal opened in front of him, and a woman stepped out. Kuroka stood pale as she saw the woman.
The woman turned to Kuroka 'Didn't I tell you and Vali not to fight him, cat?" The woman said, her tone stern but calm.
Kuroka bowed her head and apologized. "I wanted to test him, that is all, Lady Ophis," she said in a meek tone.
Lobo's eyes widened as he listened to their conversation. Right before him is the woman who chose him as her champion.
Before he could say anything, Ophis turned to him, "It's an honor to finally meet you, Lady Ophis," Lobo said, bowing in respect.
"I sense my sister has gifted you some of her powers and items, Lobo," Ophis said, as two snakes emerged from her arms and wrapped around Lobo's body. "Are you betraying me Lovo," She said as the snake tightened their grip on him.
"No lady Ophis, I swear on my life I am not betraying you." He said as he was losing consciousness from the lack of air in his body.
Ophis looked at him before releasing him, and her attention turned back to Kuroka. "I see I must go now. Cat, you are relieved from the group. You are his responsibility now and help him get stronger," Ophis said before disappearing.
Lobo and Kuroka stood face to face, both lost in thought. But as they stood there, staring at each other in silence, Kuroka couldn't take it anymore. She had to break the tension.
"So Is the offer still on the table ~Nya?' she said with a flirty grin.
Lobo looked at her, confused. 'What offer?'
"The offer to...get me pregnant with your dragon seed." she replied.
"Actually, can I ask you something?' Lobo spoke up.
"Of course, if you promise to keep knocking me up with kittens." Kuroka replied, her curiosity piqued.
"Are the rumors true? About you being a former bishop of the Naberius peerage and killing your king?" Lobo asked, wanting to get to the bottom of her mysterious past.
Kuroka tensed up at first, but then nodded as she sat on the log and motioned for him to sit. "Yes, they are. I met him when my father and mother were working for him. After our mother's demise my father sold me and my sister, Shirone, to the Naberius heir. But...things didn't go as planned."
Lobo furrowed his brows in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"He wanted to experiment on Shirone and see if she can activate her senjutsu early. I told him my sister was off limits and he can experiment on me instead. He laughed and told me he didnt care what I thought and I couldn't just stand by and watch as he was taking my sister. So I...I used my Senjutsu powers to stop him." Kuroka explained, tears welling up in her eyes.
Lobo was shocked. He knew the power of Senjutsu and how dangerous it could be. 'But what happened after that?'
'I...I killed him. I wanted him to suffer more than the other members who came and saw what happened and tried to attack me so I killed them as well but it happened in the heat of the moment. And after that, I couldn't stay with my sister. The emotional distress was too much for me to handle. So I left her behind and...became a stray, Because I couldn't put her through the torment of living on the streets looking over our shoulder, on the run, not again. I knew that she would be placed under s-someone, it was my hope that she ended up in a good home, it was a relief that she ended up with the Gremory." Kuroka finished, tears streaming down her face.
Lobo's heart ached for Kuroka. He couldn't imagine the pain and guilt she must have been feeling. He pulled her into a hug, letting her cry on his shoulder.
"Thank you for telling me," Lobo whispered, rubbing her back comfortingly. "I'm here for you, Kuroka. You don't have to face your demons alone."
Kuroka finally felt a sense of relief, knowing that she had someone by her side who accepted her and didn't judge her for her past. She pulled away from the hug and gave Lobo a small smile.
"Thank you, Lobo,'" she said softly, before leaning in and placing a gentle kiss on his cheek.
Then an idea came to mind as he turned to Kuroka with a determined look. "Kuroka, I think I have found a way to clear your name," he said.
Quickly pulling out his phone, Lobo sent a message to Stolas, notifying him of the unexpected delay. He then delved into his contacts and dialed Sirzechs. As the phone rang, Lobo's mind raced through the details of the plan he had in mind.
Sirzechs answered, his voice resonating through the phone. "Lobo, what's going on?"
Lobo explained the situation, "I need you and Serafall to meet me at the old Naberius household. There's something crucial I need to check."
Sirzechs, sensing the urgency in Lobo's tone, questioned, "Why the old Naberius household? What's going on?"
Lobo hesitated for a moment before responding, "I can't explain everything now, Please, just trust me on this."
Sirzechs sighed, "Alright, we'll head over there. Give us some time." He said.
Lobo thanked him and swiftly hung up. He turned to Kuroka, who was patiently waiting, her eyes filled with a mix of curiosity and hope. "Can you teleport us there?" he asked.
Kuroka nodded, and with a subtle motion, they vanished from the room, reappearing at the old Naberius household. Sirzechs and Serafall, who had just arrived, stared in disbelief at the unexpected presence of Kuroka as they both got into defensive stance.
"Lobo why have you brought her here you know she was a stray that killed her former king right." Sirzechs said.
Lobo stepped forward "I've got evidence that can clear Kuroka's name." Lobo said as Sirzechs and Serafall exchanged puzzled glances, but Sirzechs, being the composed leader, spoke up. "Lobo, explain yourself. What evidence are you talking about?"
"Did you know the Naberius heir was experimenting on reincarnated devils in hopes of creating super soldiers." Lobo said.
Sirzechs and Serafall eyes widened at the new piece of information as they never heard that the Naberius family were experimenting to create super soldiers.
"This is the first time we ever heard about this information Lobo-kun. Do you have any proof that he was doing illegal experimentation? We checked the house visually and magically but couldn't find any evidence on that." Serafall asked
Lobo turned to Kuroka "Do you know any secret entrance he has that can't be detected." Lobo asked.
Kuroka nodded before telling them to follow her into the Naberius house. As the group made it inside, Kuroka led them to the Naberius library. She then went to one of the busts and removing the head and inside was a button.
As she pressed it, rumbling could be heard and the wall moved down revealing a hidden passageway and Sirzechs and Serafall looked at it each other.
"Hmm, to think that we have missed that is surprising. Now let us go and see what the Naberius household has been hiding." Sirzechs said as he led the group this time and Serafall followed behind.
Lobo was about to walk when he noticed Kuroka shaking and he quickly went by her side. "Is everything alright Kuroka?" Lobo asked.
"I'm scared to go back there and remember what happened that night. I don't want to remember it and see my sister in there if I didn't save her." She said before Lobo hugged her.
"Don't worry Kuroka I'll be in there with you and I'll make sure that whatever happens in there I will protect you ok." Lobo said.
Kuroka can feel her heart beating fast at his proclamation and nods as the two walk and follow Sirzechs. As the group made it to the door and noticed it was locked however Kuroka remembered and went to unlock it. She placed her hand on the door and channeled her energy hoping they did not change it.
Then after a couple of seconds the door opened and the group went in and were greeted by a horrific sight. The lab is covered in blood stained medical equipment, ranging from scalpel to test-tubes. The lab's most unique feature, however, is the large extracting machine in the center of the room. The room's massive walls are covered in ceiling length shelves stacked full of jarred experiments, books, scrolls, crates, and tools.
The group began searching the area to look for any hidden information that suggested any illegal experimentation. Lobo checked one of the desks to find anything and as he furrowed his brows he noticed a secret compartment. He looked for anything that could open it then he found the button. As he pressed it the compartment opened and found folders and files that had information on the experimentation.
"Sirzechs, Serafall I found the files on the experimentation." Lobo said as Sirzechs, Serafall and Kuroka walked to him.
Lobo handed over a folder containing documents and photos. "It seems this is the information that proves Kuroka's innocence. The Naberius heir was experimenting on reincarnated devils with Senjutsu in order to create super soldiers ."
Sirzechs and Serafall examined the contents of the folder with growing realization. Kuroka watched anxiously, her fate hanging in the balance.
Serafall's eyes widened as she processed the information. "This is such barbaric action. Why would he go to such lengths to obtain power?"
Sirzechs and Serafall expressions shifted from surprise to anger on how the council handled the Naberius case.
"So, how do we proceed from here?" Lobo's asked.
"Kuroka's past actions have caused quite a stir, we will talk to the council and present a united front. I can handle the political intricacies, and Sirzechs will manage any potential fallout."
Lobo scratched his chin considering the proposal. "Fine, but what about Kuroka? She's an SS rank stray, and that can't be ignored. How are we dealing with that?"
Sirzechs replied, "Kuroka's power is undeniable, but we believe she can be an asset rather than a liability. Serafall and I will vouch for her and manage any concerns the council may have. However, I'll need your cooperation, Lobo."
Lobo raised an eyebrow, his intense gaze shifting towards Kuroka, who stood nearby, a mix of defiance and curiosity in her eyes. "And what's your take on all this, Kuroka?"
Kuroka met Lobo's gaze. "I'm willing to cooperate. I'm not interested in causing unnecessary trouble."
Serafall spoke up, "Lobo, why not add Kuroka to your peerage as a pawn? It'll keep her under your watchful eye as her probation officer. ."
Lobo hummed, considering the suggestion. He turned to Kuroka. "You okay with that, Kuroka?"
Kuroka, with a sly smile, replied, "I'm fine with it. If it means I'll get closer to getting kittens from you, I'll play by the rules."
Sirzechs chuckled at Lobo predicament while Serafall glares at Kuroka 'Damn it it seems I have more competition' Serafall thought as she heard Kuroka say about getting kids from Lobo.
With a nod, Lobo straightened up. "Alright then. Thank you guys for helping us." Lobo said as Sirzechs and Serafall nodded before teleported to start on the case, not before Serafall looked at Kuroka and pointed at hers eyes than Kuroka as if saying I'm watching you then left.
Lobo sighed deeply then he turned to Kuroka who straightened up at him. "Well, let's get started," Lobo said.
With a swift motion, Lobo summoned his chess pieces. The chessboard appeared in his hands, an intricate design etched onto its surface. He opened the box and his eyes scanned the pieces,
Among the array of chess pieces, Lobo's attention fixated on the pawn. He carefully plucked it from the set, holding it delicately between his fingers. Kuroka observed the piece, her eyes tracing its exquisite details.
Kuroka couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of the pawn. Its craftsmanship was extraordinary as the dark red pawn piece with a dragon on top. It changes as a black cat appears on top of the dragon head.
Then he placed the piece near Kuroka chest and chanted "In the name of Lobo de La Luna, I revive Kuroka as my [Pawn]. Now rise and live for my sake as my servant." He said as the piece sunk into her chest and replaced her old bishop piece as it fell to the ground. Then a bright light surrounds Kuroka as Lobo shields his eyes.
Then when the lights died down he looked at Kuroka "How do you feel Kuroka?" he asked as Kuroka looked at the discarded bishop piece and stomped on it and reduced it to ash.
She then looks at him and gives him a hug "Thank you Lobo for everything. I truly mean it from the bottom of my heart. You helped me and now I am free from that bastard for good. I owe you my body and soul, Master." She said.
"Well, I have to get back to Stolas, so come on and let's go," Lobo declared, looking at Kuroka, who nodded in agreement. With a swift motion, he pulled her close as she blushes, and the room around them blurred as they teleported back to the Goetia Manor.
As they materialized in Stolas' study, Lobo quickly assessed the atmosphere. Stolas, Octavia, and Stella were present, their expressions a mix of surprise and suspicion as they saw Kuroka next to him.
He knew what they were going to ask Lobo raised a hand, signaling for calm, and began to explain the unexpected presence of Kuroka.
"Calm down, everyone. Let me explain," Lobo urged, his voice steady. He recounted the story of how he met Kuroka and then meeting with Ophis. Then he heard about her past and how he had managed to clear her name. He spoke of the trust Sirzechs and Serafall had placed in him to watch over her and the decision to add her to his peerage as his pawn.
A shocked gasp escaped the lips of Stolas, Stella, and Octavia as the revelation unfolded. Kuroka, standing by Lobo's side, bowed respectfully, affirming her allegiance to him as her master. "Lobo is my master now, and I won't cause any trouble," she assured, her tone resolute.
The room fell into a momentary silence as Stolas, Stella, and Octavia absorbed the unexpected turn of events. Lobo stood firm, awaiting their response, prepared to address any concerns or questions they might have about his decision to include Kuroka in their circle.
Stolas, with a thoughtful expression, leaned back in his chair, fingers steepled. "Lobo, this is quite unexpected but I trust that you understand what she has done in the past to be wary of her." he remarked.
Lobo nods as he meets Stolas' gaze. "I understand your concern but you don't have to worry as Kuroka here can prove that she has no ill intentions." Lobo said.
Stella chimed in, "And what about her loyalty? Can we truly trust her?" She said as she eyes Kuroka.
Kuroka stepped forward, her eyes locked with Stella's. "I pledge my loyalty to Lobo, and by extension, to all of you. I won't bring trouble to the Goetia household," she declared, her words carrying a sincerity that resonated in the room.
Octavia, who had been observing silently, walked up to him as she held his hands into hers."I trust you my love and if you think that Kuroka can be trusted then I won't question your choice." She said as Lobo smiled and kissed her thankful for her support.
Lobo acknowledging their apprehensions. "I wouldn't have taken this step if I didn't believe in Kuroka's redemption. She deserves a chance to prove herself," he asserted, his gaze unwavering.
Stolas sighed, breaking the tense atmosphere. "Very well, Lobo. If you vouch for her, we'll accept her into our household. But remember, any consequences resulting from this decision will be yours to bear."
With a nod of gratitude, Lobo replied, "Thank you, Stolas. I'll make sure everything runs smoothly." He said.
Then Stolas dismisses them as he tells Lobo to report back later after getting Kuroka settled in. Lobo nods as he escorts Kuroka to her room next to his as Stella and Octavia joins them.
