Godzilla: The Planet Eater

Both Must Fall: The one who is many returns

The body wasn't as adequate as he had desired, and worse than expected due to its injuries and damages, but the residual organics within it were still active, it was better than nothing, and he needed a physical body this time to enact his vengeance. Plus, the consciousness inhabiting this mangled form was barely hanging on now; having been reduced to a stump left it unable to move until it regenerated, and these creatures that had mangled it wouldn't allow it to regenerate. With no other alternative, the invader from beyond the stars took the initiative and took possession of the stump of a body.

Godzilla, sensing something familiar with that strange, golden glow, glared as the fallen body of his adversary levitated from off the ground and into the air above them all.

"…What is that thing?" Yuko questioned as she and Haruo watched the golden glow intensify with each second that passed by.

"Some sort of energy being?" Adam suggested.

FLASH! It exploded in a blinding light that then dissipated, revealing something new in place of the Godzilla doppelgänger.

"No way," Haruo gasped.

Levitating in the air, above all on the ground and in the water, what remained of the doppelgänger had been transformed into a new body for the energy being to inhabit. It was about two-hundred-thirty-two meters, most likely due to the damage done to the body it took over, with a large wingspan that was about twice its height that replaced its missing arms. In place of the rock-like body was a thin-but-muscular form with a texture combination of golden scales and leather-like skin with three heads reminiscent of dragons. A pair of bird-like legs with sharp talons and two tails ending in spiked clubs of sorts.

"Good Lord!" Martin gasped.

"Gaaaaurgh!" The three heads roared, followed by a strange sort of cackle, as if they were quite pleased with this turn of events.

"It looks exactly like one of the creatures Monarch had encountered years ago," Yuko expressed as she took in the features of the three-headed creature. "That's Ghidorah."

"What?" Adam asked her.

"Ghidorah. A dragon that fell from the stars. A hydra that unleashed a storm that threatened everything on the planet. 'The one who is many'."

"A dragon that fell from the stars?" Haruo repeated. "As in an alien?"

"Yeah, and it looks like it's returned."

"…We're getting very little information from where their sub is, sir," a woman told Mori. "A category six hurricane has developed down there on the ground."

"In less than three minutes?" Mori questioned.

"There's something happening down there."

Even the Bilusaludo onboard could see that something on the planet was amiss. Maybe even due to that golden phenomenon that showed up.

"…Ghidorah…" They heard a voice on the radio. "Godzilla…the…are fighting…"

"Did anyone understand any of that?" Another man asked.

"It sounded like they said 'Ghidorah'…and that Godzilla was fighting it," another woman suggested as the message given on the radio. "Ghidorah? Maybe the gold dragon we saw out in space that went down into the atmosphere."

Mori had to wonder what was going on down on the planet they had returned to in a desperate attempt to reclaim. If this fake Godzilla had been dealt with by the real Godzilla and several other creatures that had been threatened by it for thousands of years, that should've been enough to enable the rest of the three races to return to Earth. But now they had to wait because of this…Ghidorah creature that had shown up.

"Do we still have access to the copied information they sent from their submarine?" He asked.

What remained of the creature's consciousness persisted, but Ghidorah was much stronger than it due to being alive for longer, even after his defeat. And because he was originally an energy being, this gave him an edge in using the fake's remains to generate a reasonable facsimile of its original form, revived by his energy and enabling him to exact payback against this animal that defeated him over twenty-thousand years ago. This time, he would take this world and reshape it to his liking. This time, he would have his revenge against this beast that threatened his reign.

"Haaaaurgh!" His middle head shrieked again, just as thunder roared and lightning flashed behind him.

The danger had returned, and now she was needed again. They were all needed again. The planet had been ravaged for too long by a false ruler and the true ruler would require her aid to reclaim the throne.

Slit! The chrysalis split open…and she emerged bathed in light.

"Iiiiee!" She screeched.

Mothra, the Queen of the Monsters, had finally regained her full strength and was ready to do battle to aid in reclaiming this world. But first, she had to ensure that her legacy was preserved; in a situation of this magnitude, there was always the chance that she wouldn't survive the outcome like everyone else could.

If any could describe her form, they would've called her a large, hairy or furry, mantis-like creature with large wings adorned with intricate, beautiful patterns, especially around the top ends of where they appeared to have eyes.

Spreading her massive wings, the insect that had been worshipped as a goddess for countless generations in the past took to the sky.

To be continued…

A/N: And now we have to wait until the remake of what happened in the film happens here. I hope y'all got the patience.
