-Marko's P.O.V-
The woman's limp body was thrown off the bed while I laughed to myself. Mostly, it was a terrific meal, but she was good company for a night. I gently slipped my clothes back on, feeling a wave of shame flood over me. For what reason? Sienna. I had to divert my attention even though I knew what I had done was wrong.
Every day, I battle myself nonstop. What David was telling me about the two of us wasn't anything I wanted to accept. It was just wrong. That being said, why did I act? What was the rationale behind me making a move on her. Although it's difficult for me to like Sienna that way, I do enjoy her. I just can't allow it. Not after before.
"Jesus Marko, next time tell your meal to shut up" Lauren whined frowning once I walked into the main entrance. I shrugged in response and returned Paul's high-five.
"Where's Cici?" I asked, noticing she was no where to be seen.
"She's in her room. She was in a mood" Paul answered.
"I wonder why" I heard David sarcastically remark.
I turned to him and shot him a look before making my way over to Sienna's room. I knocked twice. No answer. I let out a sigh before quietly opening the door and walking in. There she was, curled up on her bed, hugging a pillow tightly to her chest. I smiled to myself at the sight. Taking a seat on the bed, careful not to disturb her; I wrapped my arms around her, lightly kissing the side of her head. I ran my finger down her cheek, seeing the tear stained trail on her face.
"I'm sorry" I whispered. I gently ran my fingers through her curls before finally leaving her to sleep.
-Sienna's P.O.V-
I had made sure to wake up an hour earlier than the others. I had agreed to meet Ashley and spend most of the night with her at the boardwalk, knowing it would get my mind off of Marko. She told me she had some friends she wanted to introduce me to. I made sure to leave my mom a note, just so she wouldn't panic like she always does.
"What's got you down?" Ashley asked.
"Nothing why?"
"Well you've been sat stirring your mill shake for five minutes now, you're meant to drink it"
"Sorry" I gave a small smile before taking a sip.
"What's the matter...is it a guy?"
"Well, kind of it's complicated" I began to explain.
"How?" She paused. "Let me guess you like him but he doesn't feel the same?"
"How did you know?" I raised my voice slightly.
"Because it's just typical. All you have to do is show him what he's missing"
"If only it was that easy" I rolled my eyes at her.
"What's his name?"
"You don't know him" The less this girl knew the better.
"Well cheer up, the boys are here!" The boys? I sat up and looked behind me to see a group of guys walking towards us. Ashley instantly stood up, wrapping her arms around one of them.
"Sienna, this is my boyfriend Callum" she introduce the one she was hugging.
"Hi"
"And this is Kiam, Josh and Ben"
I looked to see Ben staring directly at him and I had to admit, he wasn't an eyesore at all. He was the most attractive out of all of them in my opinion.
"I'm Sienna" I introduced myself.
"Nice to meet you" Ben took my hand and kissed it. I blushed as the others teased his behaviour. I looked away from him and over towards Ashley.
"Right well who's up for a game of night time volleyball?" Kiam suggested clapping his hands together. We all agreed and walked towards the beach
~
I laughed as I collided with Ashley's body in an attempt to keep the ball from falling to the ground. I rubber my shoulder and helped Ashley back up on her feet.
We had been playing for what felt like hours, the six of us. Callum, Ben, and Kiam were up against Josh, Ashley, and me. It's clear that the superior team—not us—won. I yawned and plopped myself onto the beach.
"You ok there?" I turned to see Ben taking a seat beside me.
"Yeah just tired, sports really takes it out of me" I told him. My hands began to play with the sand.
"Funny, you put all that effort in and still lost" Ben playfully nudge me and I nudge him back.
"Shut up, you only won because we let you" I stuck out my tongue.
"How come I haven't seen you around school?" He questioned.
"Oh I um have private classes so I don't go to a regular school"
"Like home school?"
"Something like that"
"Hey Sienna, there's a concert tomorrow night, you're coming right?" Ashley shouted from where she stood.
"Umm I don't think.." I was interrupted by Ben.
"You better be there, it wouldn't be no fun without you" I looked up and flashed him a smile.
"Sure I'll be there" I stood up and dusted myself of, Ben following suit. I walked over to Ashley.
"I gotta get going" I told her, pulling her into a hug.
"Be at mine for 7, you can get ready at mine, we'll meet the boys on the board walk"
"Sounds like a plan" I waved goodbye to the others before finding my way back to the boardwalk.
I approached my family, who looked as mischievous as always. My mom hopped off of my dad's bike and wrapped me into a hug.
"Thank you for letting me know" I smiled at her.
"Pushing it for time ain't you?" David raised his eyes brows at me.
"Sorry" I snickered and glanced over at Marko, who had another girl on the back of his bike. It was a different girl from last night. My mood instantly changed. I huffed and walked over to uncle Dwayne, climbing on behind him.
"Everything all right kid?" Dwayne asked.
"I guess so" I mumbled.
