(Trails of Cold Steel III ost - 2nd Branch's Routine)
"Phew!" Renne lay on her back on Venusaur's side. "My, what a workout."
"Venusaur." Venusaur said.
"Seriously." Florian agreed as he lay on the grass with Meowscarada. "It feels like a year has passed. Don't you think?"
"I guess. A lot has happened in these past few weeks. Enjoying some studies, but what tired me is how much we remove so many crystals that have popped out of Paldea."
"Yeah. Not to mention they're getting stronger and stronger too. The black one especially. We stood no chance until we asked Victor and Hop for help. I'm super exhausted by that. But the bright side is the more difficult it is, the bigger the rewards are."
"Yeah. We collected many of those candies, other drop items to sell for cash and other stuff." Renne agreed. "I don't know about you, Florian but I'm thinking of getting something sweet. You want in?"
"Yeah, I can use something sweet like cakes or something. Where should we go?" Florian asked, rising from his back. "To Katy's?
"Nah. I know a good place we can go in Toad Town. Come on."
At Honey Guy's Bakery...
"Okay, here you go." A Shy Guy passes the place with a delicious cake slice with Alcremie over his head. "Enjoy!"
"Wooow! They look so good!" Florian eye sparkled with Meowscarada.
"Meow, Meow!" Meowscarada agreed
"Goth. Gothitelle." Gothitelle clapping her hands with joy.
"Hehe, indeed." Renne nodded. "Time to dig in." She said as she grabbed a fork, cut a tiny slice and then take a bite at it. "Mmm... so delicious."
"Wooooow~" Florian eye sparkles with Meowscarada. "This is heaven!"
"Meow, meoooooow~" Meowscarada agreed.
"My, look at you being children." Renne teased.
"Hey, you're the same age as I am, Renne. So you're a kid too." Florian pouted
"I'm a lady. So I'm pretty much the grown-up."
"Grown up my foot. Anyway, I'm still kinda surprised about the whole world thing. But guess it's my fault for not looking into what's on the news and whatnot." Florian's aid as he slices the cake piece and then eats it. "Mmhm... Let alone all that stuff you and the others pull on."
"Well, we didn't have much of a choice in the matter. But in the end, we save the world and whatnot" Renne replied, slicing a piece of cake. "So how are you handling your new ARCUS Alpha, Florian?"
"It's going great actually. Of course, nothing has changed. Though mine can't be compared to Penny."
"Oh yeah." Renne said, recalling how fangirling Penny was with her ARCUS Alpha. "She was over the moon with all the mechanisms that it has. And yet, I heard from Kirito that they'll a new version of the ARCUS coming up soon after they did some latest testing."
"Really, now? I wonder what type this one is gonna be compared to the ones we're using right now." Florian said.
"I did hear that Alisa, E. Gadd, and Kirito wanted to install a... actually, better keep it a secret for now."
"Hm? Look at you already being aware. Anyway, I'm really glad that you're here with me, Renne. You know with the campus and stuff like that. Team Star bosses seem to have a great time with the friends you've introduced. Penny, Arven, and Nemona too. Though of course, Nemona often has her battles with those guys from... Class VII, right?"
"Honestly that girl needs to be put on a leash..." Renne sighed.
Flashback...
"Hey Tita!" Juna called out as she, Kurt, Ash, Musse, Altina, and Venti approached. "Oh is that you, Renne?"
"Well if it isn't Class VII. Nice to see you guys are in a good mood." Renne replied.
"Let me guess, another group of friends of yours?" Florian asked
"Pretty much."
"Oh. I don't believe we've met." Kurt said. "Hello. My name is Kurt Vander. A pleasure."
"Wow. I never thought I would meet with a pretty boy here in this school." Penny said.
"Is that so? And who might you be, miss?"
"Oh! Um... well..."
"Let me guess... another one of Kurt's fangirls?" Juna asked, placing her hands on her hips and giving an annoyed look.
"N-No! Nothing of the sort!" Penny exclaimed.
"Someone jealous mode is ooon~" Venti smirked.
"Well it shouldn't be a surprised." Altina replied. "But anyway, who are your new friends?"
"Allow me to make the introduction." Renne said. "The girl in the glasses is named Penny. She's good when it comes to technology and machinery. She's also one of the smart ones among this group. She's quite shy so be gentle with her."
"Um... Hello." Penny wave gentle.
"Nice to meet you, Penny. Sorry about asking that rude question. Sometimes my boyfriends get visit by his fangirls." Juna said as she scratched her hair.
"Oh you guys are dating?" Nemona asked with a smile.
"Yep! Oh, I didn't introduce myself. I'm Juna Crawford! Member of Class VII and student of the Branch Campus of Thors! Nice to meet you guys!"
"Well it's time for the rest of us to introduce." Altina said. "Hello. My name is Altina Orion. Next to me is my boyfriend, Venti Zachary."
"Hiya! It's a pleasure to meet new friends." Venti greeted
"A pleasure." Musse did her curtsy greeting. "My name is Musse Egret. And the handsome rogue next to me is the man who won my heart, Ash Carbide."
"Heh. That's one way to make a nice introduction babe. Sup." Ash said.
"Ash has a certain bad boy charm." Renne replied.
"Yeah, I can definitely feel the vibe coming from this guy." Arven said. "Anyway, I'm Arven. And this is one of my best buds, Florian!"
"Nice to meet you guys!" Florian greeted with a smile.
"And I'm Nemona!" Nemona got up from her chair and smirked. "Why don't we celebrate our first meeting with a battle!"
"Wait, what?" Juna blinked while Renne, Tita, Florian, Penny and Arven sweatdrop.
"Nemonaaa..." Renne pulled on Nemona's ear.
"Owowowow!" Nemona wagging her arms.
"Yeah, you have to forgive her. Nemona loves Pokemon battles. I mean really love Pokemon battles." Florian said with a nervous smile.
"She's a psychopath." Penny replied while Juna, Kurt, Altina, Venti, Ash, and Musse sweatdrop.
"Haha. Sounds like we got some new guests here in the academy." Rean's voice said as he and Levi approached.
"Wow. Two hot guys join the cafeteria." Florian said.
"Did you actually said that?" Arven jawdropped.
"Eh. Everyone was kinda thinking it."
"He isn't wrong." Penny scratched her cheek. "Is this school filled with good-looking people?"
"I'm not so sure about that but I think everyone is good-looking." Levi said, scratching his hair. "But this is quite the surprise. I wasn't expecting to see you here, Renne. Visiting Tita?"
"Yep. I also wanted to introduce my friends who came with me from Paldea." Renne answered
"You guys are from Paldea? Oh that's so cool! We got Pokemon who are from Paldea!" Juna smiled as she pull out her Pokeball. "Quaquaval, come join us!"
The came out Juna's Quaquaval.
"Oh no way! I also have a Quaquaval too!" Nemona cheered. "And it looks strong! On let's have a battle!"
"All right, if you wanna have a battle, then your on!" Juna smirked. "Follow me!" She said as she and Nemona left the cafertia.
"Should we warn her?" Penny asked.
"I think she'll be fine. But it better to let them know that Nemona is a Champion Rank."
"Champion Rank?" Levi blinked.

"But on the bright side, she got some new friends who are also gonna help her push. Which we can't lack behind." Florian said.
"I guess so. I also need to hone my skills as well. But the candies we got will be enough to level them up with experience." Renne said.
"I guess. Anyway, we collected so much stuff. You wanna sell them?"
"Yeah, I should—"
"Ro-to-to-to-to!" Florian's ARCUS Alpha ranged as it emerged from his pocket.
"Oh, someone's calling me." Florian said and then saw the ID. "Huh? Instructor Jacq?" He answered
"Hey, Mr. Jacq."
"Hey, Florian! Sorry to bother you while you're probably out searching for some nice treasure..." Jacq said
"Ah, no need to worry. So what's up? This isn't about another Pokedex completion, right?"
"Oh no! Nothing like that. You already work so hard to complete Paldea's Pokedex. But there is something that you should know. You see, we have a school trip every year around this time."
"A school trip?" Florian tilts his head.
"Meow?" Meowscarada tilts his head.
"It's a special collaboration between our academy and another school. And would you believe it? Your name was one of the ones chosen to attend!"
"Really? That's cool! So who else is going?"
"Oh you're gonna find out. Anyway. You'll get to go study and experience the great outdoors off to the east—in the land of Kitakami!"
"The land of Kitakami?" Florian asked as Renne finished eating her cake slice while Gothitelle is eating hers.
"It's a long trip to get to this year's destination, so we can't send too many students this time. You really are a lucky one, getting selected as one of the participants! Come to the school's entrance hall when you're ready to hear all the details. Of course, you don't HAVE to take part. But this kind of change isn't likely to come again, so you—"
"No need. I'm very curious about it, so I'm going!"
"Great! In that case, see you soon!" Jacq then hang up.
"So you're going on the field trip?" Renne asked
"Yep. I wonder who else is—"
Now Renne's ARCUS Alpha rang as she answered it.
"Hello?"
"Hey Renne! It's me. Mr. Jacq!"
"Oh hello, Instructor. What do I owe the pleasure?" Renne asked as Florian blinked.
"Well, I have some good news to share."
"Let me guess. It involves a field trip to Kitakami?"
"Eh?! How did you know?" Jacq asked as Renne flip her phone to Florian
"Hiiii Mr. Jacq~!" Florian chuckled.
"Ehhhh!? Florian!? You and Renne were together?! Why didn't you say anything?"
"To be fair, you didn't tell who's going so you can't fault me you know."
Jacq sweatdrops. "Ahaha... You got me there. So what do you say, Renne?"
"Hmm. Sounds interest. All right, I'll go."
"Great! Come to the school entrance hall and I'll be waiting!" Jacq hung up.
"Sounds like we got ourselves a school trip." Renne said.
"You think Penny and the others will come too?" Florian asked
"Don't know. Guess, we'll find out. Finish your cake and then we'll head off." Renne said
"Right!" Florian nodded and then took a bite out of his cake. "Mmmm~ So yummmie~"
Then everyone headed in the pots and pans fell on the floor, causing them to turn to the kitchen door as one of the staff opened the door.
"Is everything on—whoa!" The human staff ducks his head.
"Back! Back I say!" A Shy Guy yells behind the door as something launches a fire attack on him, causing everyone to sweatdrop.

To the Academy...
"Well, at least we're back." Florian said.
"Yeah. But it's about time we seen some dramatic going on." Renne said.
"Never thought a Vulpix is involved with baking." Florian look around and don't see Jacq. "Huh. I thought Mr. Jacq would be here by now."
"Maybe's in the classroom or the teacher's lounge. But he did to wait for us in the entrance hall."
"Guess we'll wait for him." Florian said.
An hour later...
"Uggggh... What's taking him so looong..." Florian complaining.
"Meow, meow..." Meowscarada complain as well.
"Thanks for making us wait, Mr. Jacq..." Renne sighed as Gothitelle already set up a tea table brought over Tea and sweets. "Thank you Gothitelle."
Florian sweatdrop. "How is it that Gothitelle know the perfect time to set up a table? Also is it even allow at the liberty?"
Renne sip her tea. "Guess we'll find out."
"Pardon me, but by any chance you two are students of Uva Academy?" Approached was a woman with short wavy blonde hair with black iris, red-rimmed-and-white pupil eyes. She wears teal earrings resembling the Terastal phenomenon, a purple jacket, held by a black ribbed shirt, red pants and black loafers.

"Yeah, that's right. I mean you are in Uva Academy entrance hall." Florian said.
"Ahaha! Do forgive me for asking such an obvious question. But what I meant to say is... are you students chosen for the school trip."
"Ooh that we are actually. I'm Florian and this is Renne!"
"It's a pleasure to meet you both!" The woman said, cheerfully and noticed Renne and Florian's Tera Orb. "Oh! I see you two also possess Tera Orbs! I suppose that means Paldea is rich in resources for the school to have. Unless the two of you are exceptional students."
"Not sure about exceptional but—"
"Ms. Briiiar!" Jacq called out as he approached. "I'm so sorry that I'm late."
"That isn't the only thing you were late." Renne replied.
"Yeah, Mr. Jacq, you didn't tell us there was an appointed meaning." Florian agreed
"Hahaha! Sorry, sorry! I was busy with work and looking at all the collective data and—" Jacq paused when he notice Florian and Renne gave him the "really" look. He sweatdrop. "Ahaha... once again I'm terribly sorry. But anyway! You two are such lucky scamps, getting to take part in a school trip so soon after transferring and exchange here! I sure am happy for you two! I wish I could go too..."
"Ahem!" Briar cough.
Jacq blinked. "Oh! I'm sorry, Ms. Briat. I got a bit carried away..."
"Well, as Mr. Jacq so kindly stated for me, my name is Briar. I'm a teacher over at Blueberry Academy."
"Blueberry Academy?" Florian tilts his head.
"That's a school in the Unova region, you know. Ms. Briar helps set the curriculum there." Jacq explained
"This year is Blueberry Academy's turn to run our joint school trip and supervise the students. That's why I came here to collect the two of you." Briar smiled. "We'll be heading to Kitakami, a land known for its picturesque fields and rich paddies. The place has a rustic feel, but there's also something rather mysterious about it."
"And what would that be?" Renne asked
"You see, the same energy present in Paldea's Terastal phenomenon has been detected there!"
"Tera crystal in that land too?" Florian asked.
"And here I thought it would be only Paldea." Renne mused.
"I'm hoping to do some digging into the matter myself—in between my supervising duties." Briar turn to Jacq. "Though I'd ALSO appreciate the chance to take a good look around the Great Crater of Paldea."
"Ah, yes, well, there's... not much I can do about that without permission from the Pokemon League and Director Clavell..." Jacq replied.
"Oh, I know. I've already put in all the proper applications. I trust that I'll get a favorable response soon?"
Jacq rub his chin.
"Ahem..." Florian clear his throat, causing Jacq and Briar's attention.
"Oh! Sorry, you two. Forgot all for a moment there." Jacq chuckled. "Anyway, the school trip. Think of it as a chance to continue your Treasure Hunt on a grander scale— to search BEYOND Paldea's borders! I'll even provide you with a special update to your Pokedex App. If you'd get your phones out?"
"Rotom." Renne called out as her ARCUS Alpha came out.
"Hm? Strange. Is that a new Rotom Phone?"
"You can say that, yes." Renne replied as Florian's ARCUS Alpha emerge from his pocket as Jacq's Rotom Phone came out and then downloaded Kitakami's Pokedex to them.
"And there we go!" Jacq smiled "Now you can go wild registering all the Pokemon you find around Kitakami too!"
"You just want to collect more data don't you?" Renne asked bluntly
"Can't deny that." Jacq chuckled. "Oh and don't worry about a permission slip for the trip—I already cleared things with your mom Florian and to your academy and father, Renne. You just go and have fun!"
"In that case, we will." Renne nodded "Until then. Mr Jacq."
"Yeah! Until then!" Florian agreed as Jacq took off.
"Haha! Your Mr. Jacq is quite charming, isn't he? Delightfully direct when he wants to be." Briar chuckled. "Now then, Florian, Renne. It's quite a trip to the land of Kitakami. I hope you don't mind flying. Or long bus rides."
"We don't mind." Florian answered. "Is Kitakami really distant from the station?"
"Where is Kitakami located?" Renne asked
"Well it's located between Johto and Sinnoh. Apparently, it was once part of the Sinnoh but it parted territory. So it's quite like we're going back in time to what people back in history used to before technology came. Oh but don't worry. There is Wifi there so you don't have to worry."
"Well in that case, that's good. I want to contact my other friends and family know where I am should they call me. Plus, I think Kitakami might be interesting for... a few friends of mine who enjoy eastern culture." Renne smiled
"I see. In that case, let me know as soon as you're ready to set out."
"Will do! Come on, Meowscarada! Let's go get our things!" Florian declared
"Meow!" Meowscarada nodded and they take off.
"Us too, Gothitelle." Renne said
"Goth." Gothitelle nodded and they took off.
One packing up later...
"All right, we're packed." Renne said as they came back with their usual backpack.
"Great! I heard the two of you were chosen for this trip by lottery, so this may be the first time you meet!" Briar smiled "I know my role is to chaperone you kids around, but I fully intend to have some fun on my own while I'm at it—just so you're aware!"
"Oh we're aware." Renne said.
"By the way, can I ask you two something?"
"Shoot." Florian said
"Do you two know of the Scarlet and Violet Book?" Briar asked
"We do actually. What would you like to know about that book?" Renne asked
"Well it's the most influential book of the century on the subject on the paranormal. The author of the Scarlet and Violet Book, Heath, was in fact an ancestor of mine."
"You're Heath's descendant?" Florian asked in surprised
"That's right! I even have his original manuscript." Briar nodded and pull out the Scarlet and Violet Book. "Look here." She said as Florian and Renne look at the page of the book. "These are the pages that were blacked out and made illegible in the published version of the book."
A Disk Pokemon?
"While separated from the research team in the crater's depths, I found a strange... entity. Whether it was a Pokemon, or even alive at all, I know not. It bore a shell with layers of overlapping hexagons, and gleamed brighter still than gemstone. Viewed as a whole, it resemble a mysterious, brilliant disk."
"I have tentatively named this creature Terapagos. I suspect that its very body is made up the key material that causes Pokemon to shine brightly and crystallize."
"Terapagos..." Renne hummed. "Is that the name of the Pokemon that created the Terastallization?"
"Well the name Tera sounds like it." Florian said. "This Pokemon was encounter by Heath when he venture into Area Zero deepest part?"
"Yes. But alas. The general public didn't believe him." Briar sighed and close the Original Scarlet and Violet Book. "It's my dream to find Terapagos and prove that Heath's records were all true. Though I haven't yet been able to pressure permission to enter Area Zero, unfortunately..."
"I'm sure you'll get permission someday." Florian said.
"Agreed. I'm also curious to know more about Terapago and its powers." Renne nodded. 'Could Terapago also be the Pokemon Arceus was looking for?'
"I sure hope so. But right now. I must focus on the work that's in front of me." Briars smiled. "I'm actually quite happy to know there are people who believe in Heath's work."
"That's because we have been through quite the journey." Florian scratch his cheek.
"Ms. Briar!" A student called out as five students approached. "We're ready!"
"Looks like the gang's all here." Briar smiled. "All right, everyone! To the land of Kitakami!"

One long trip later...

"Finally, we've arrived!" One of the students cheered
"Uuugh..." The other groaned in defeat. "My butt is killing me after all the sitting on the plane and the bus for ours!"
Brair laughed. "Well, you all survived the long trip!"
"Aaaaugh!" Florian yelled as he and Renne were playing a game of Pom Pom. "Damn it, Renne! I know you were cheating on that!"
Renne let out a grin as she wheezed. "Oh you wound me, Florian. I told you that I am a master of this game."
"Rematch! But no dirty tricks you here!"
"All alright, all right you two." Briar called to catch their attention. "Did anyone lose something along the way?"
"Nope. We're good." The students answered
"Then welcome to the land of Kitakami!" Briar declared as they look around the surrounded that resembles ancient japan. "This is the stage of all the new experiences and learning opportunities you'll have out in nature!"
"You certainly weren't joking. It like we have gone back in time to the old era of the eastern style." Renne mused. "Yep. Those two will definitely like it here."
"Who are you talking to anyway?" Florian asked
"Musse and the Ashen Chevalier. Oh, that mean Rean. Those two are eastern fans."
"Ah. Well why not send them a picture?"
"Nah. You can do it for me."
"Me?! Why do I have to do the work?"
"Ahem!" Briar clear her throat. "If I may continue. Kitakami is actually my first time here too. Why, the rice fields really are just dazzling! Up ahead is Mossui Town. That will be our base of operations for the duration of the trip!"
"Ooogh..." One student groaned as he set on the bench. "M-Ms. Briar... I don't feel so good..."
"Oh dear! All that travel must have given you a dose of motion sickness. Why don't we pause here for a moment and take in the sight of these fields?" Briar turn to Florian. "Florian. I have a request I like to make. Could you run ahead to the community center in Mossui and let the caretaker know we're here? It would also be great if you could explain that one of our students is feeling unwell."
"Sure! You got it!" Florian nodded. "I'll be back in a flash!"
"Is it all right if I go with him?" Renne asked.
"Of course! I'll be counting on the two of you this!" Briar smiled
"Great." Florian got out his Pokeball. "Koraidon! Let's go!" He said as came out was Koraidon.
"Agia!" Koraidon roared
"You too, Miraidon." Renne pull out her Pokeball and came out Miraidon.
"Agia!" Miraidon roared as well as Florian and Renne hop on their legendary Pokemon on ride mode to dash mode.
"Oh my! I didn't know you two brought Cyclizar with you! That will make thing quickly. But I don't think I ever seen Cyclizar of this color before. Actually, one looks modern in technology."
"It's a long story. Anyway, cya in a jiffy!" Florian said as he and Renne ride away in dash mode.
Soon they arrived at the entrance where they dismounted and then recalled their Pokemon to their Pokeballs and go it.
"Huh. Guess it was a quick trip." Florian said.
"I'm just glad it wasn't far." Renne replied and see a white building in the center of the town. "Oh look. I think that's the community center."
"Great! Come on!" Florian nodded.
Standing in the entrance to the Community Center were a slender young girl with yellow eyes and black hair with red highlights. Her accessory on her head is a yellow headband and her outfit is a buttoned blue shirt, a white belt, a yellow fanny pack, a red thumbless glove, blue pants with two stripes on the legs, one white and one blue and red and white shoes. She is seen with a beauty mole, very light lipstick, and her eyes being half-closed.
And a slender young boy with yellow eyes and black hair with violet underlights. He has a yellow headband and his outfit is a collared blue shirt with a red tie, a white and blue jacket, a yellow backpack, a red thumbless glove, white shorts with two stripes on the legs, one white and one blue, and matching blue socks and red and white shoes. He is seen with his eyes being half-closed and a mole on his neck.
"Oh! Look sis! There's two right now!" The boy called out to the girl as they two approached.

"Can we help you?" Florian asked

"So... you two are the students who came from the Paldea region, huh?" The girl asked
"Yeah, that's right. Are you two locals here?" Renne asked
"That's right."
The boy behind her stick out. "Whoa... Way cool."
"Huh. You're a cute one yourself." Florian smiled
"Ah! Me?" The boy pointed at himself as Florian smiled. "Oh, ah." Then his cheeks blush all red and he intertwines his finger. "T-Thanks."
"Don't thank him! And I'm the only one who's cute here, Kieran!" The girl growled
"Someone's jealous." Renne teased
"I am not!" She growled as she crunch her fist before clearing her throat. "Anyway... I'm Carmine. Sorry, but I can't just let two outsiders such as yourself wander into Mossui Town?"
"Huh? What's that supposed to mean?" Florian asked
"Are you saying this doesn't allow visitors from different part of the world into the village?" Renne asked
"Nail on the head."
"That's ridiculous."
"Yeah. Plus we got permission to be here too. Beisdes, we need to let the caretaker know that one of my fellow schoolmates got motion sickness."
"Yeah, yeah, sob story. Blah, blah blah. But still nope." Carmine cross her arms with a smirk.
"You're absolutely joking, right?" Florian asked, looking irritated.
"Well if you insist on coming in, you'll have to battle me first."
"Excuse me?"
"C-C'mon, Sis..." Kieran said timidly. "You just wanna battle. Makin' this big fuss over nothing..."
"Hush, Kiki!" Carmine growled.
Florian and Renne sweatdrop.
"So that's your reason? You just want to battle someone?" Renne asked, giving Carmine a deadpan look.
"Yeah, can we battle after I go let the caretaker know?" Florian asked
"No." Camine answered.
Florian gave an irritating look. "Renne. You don't mind if I kick this girl's ass, right?"
"Let her have it then." Renne casually wrap her arms behind her back.
"Excuse me!?" Carmine gave an annoyed look. "I'll be the one to kick your ass! Get into position! We're going this!"
"I'll just casually go around." Renne sighed as Floriana and Carmine begin to take positions as Kieran.

"Go, Ceruledge!" Florian throw his Pokeball and came out Ceruledge.
"Ceruledge!" He roared
"Go, Poochyena!" Carmine throw her Pokeball and came out Poochyena.
"Ruff!" Poochyena barked.
"What's that Pokemon?" Florian pull out his Pokedex on his ARCUS Alpha.
"Poochyena. The Bite Pokemon. A Dark Type. It bares its large fangs and barks vigorously to try to intimidate opponents, but this is actually a manifestation of its cowardly nature."
"Get ready to eat the dirt for your first experience to Kitakami!" Carmine smirked. "Use Crunch!"
"Block and use Shadow Blade." Florian said as Ceruledge block with its blade arms, bounced it off, and then Shadow Claw activated and then launch a powerful slash, knocking Poochyena with a critical hit.
"Arooou!" Poochyena howl in agony and roll to the streets with swirling eyes.
"What?!" Carmine jawdropped. "It's a ghost type move and you took it down with just one hit?!"
"Hmm, I guess I should have hold back now that I got a good grasp of your strength." Florian shrug.
"Grrrr! You just got lucky!" Carmine got her Pokeball out. "Poochyena! Return!" She recalled Poochyena and switch Pokeball. Poltchageist, go!" She throw her Pokeballa ne came out Poltchageist.
"Poltchageist." It said.
"Okay, that's a new one." Florian scan with his ARCUS Alpha.
"Poltchageist. The Matcha Pokemon. A Grass and Ghost Type. Poltchageist looks like a regional form of Sinistea, but it was recently discovered that the two Pokémon are entirely unrelated. Supposedly, the regrets of a tea ceremony master who died before perfecting his craft lingered in some matcha and became a Pokémon."
"Well, that last one is depressing..." Florian gave a sad look.
"Ha! Wide open! Poltchageist, Shadow Ball!" Carmine commanded as Poltchageist then channeled Shadow Ball and then fired Shadow Ball.
"Intercept then Bitter Blade." Florian command.
"Cer!" Ceruledge rush toward Polchageist
"Quick, Sun Spore!" Carmine yelled
"Poltchaa!" Poltchageist shake its body and then orange powder came out
"Cer?" Cerueldge was then surrounded by said power and then he began to paralyze. "C-Cer!"
"So it snows Stun Spore..." Florian hummed.
"Got right where I want you! Shadow Ball!"
"Poltchageist!" Poltchageist channeled and fired Shadow Ball.
"Phantom Force!" Florian yelled as Ceruledge then vanished.
"What?!" Carmine growled and then Cerueldge reappeared and tackle Poltchageist. "Double What?!"
"Polchaa!" Poltchageist groaned but recovered.
"Poltchageist, use Hex!"
"Polchageist's eyes glow red as a dark purple wisp of energy appears around Ceruledge and strikes it.
"Cerrr!" Ceruledge grunted.
"Bitter Blade!" Florian yelled as Ceruledge's eyes look sharp, lung toward Polchageist, and then launched a powerful slash.
"Poooool!" Polchageist yelled in agony and then knock and roll to the floor with swirling eyes.
"Grrr! Polchageist, return!" She recalled and switched to her final Pokeball. "Vulpix, go!" she throw her Pokeball and then came out Vulpix.
"Vulpix!"
"Use Extrasensory!"
"Vuuuulllll!" Vulpix fired Extrasensory.
"Dodge and use Shadow Claw!" Florian command
Ceruledge wanted to move but paralyzed kick in as Extrasensory took the hit. Causing considerable damage.
"Vulpix, use disable!" Cammine yelled
"Vul!" Vulpix's eyes glow blue and a blue ring was launch, pass through Ceruledge causing him to unable to move.
"Cer?!" Cerludge respond in shock.
"Oh boy..." Florian scarctch his hair.
"Vulpix, Extrasensory!" Carmine yelled
"Vulpiiix!" Vulpix fired a rainbow beam from her mouth and strike on Ceruledge
"Cer!"Cerludge grunted as he was knock away.
"All right, Ceruledge, Finish this with Shadow Claw!" Florian yelled
"Ceruledge!" Ceruledge's blade arm is surrounded by a black aura with a purple outline, charge at Vulpix and launch a powerful slash with a critical blow.
"Vuuuuul!" Vulpix yelled in agony and launch to Carmine.
"Gawh!" Carmine yelled as she was knock out of the ground with swirling eyes with Vulpix.

(Resuming Carmine's Theme)
"Wowser! He just knock off her butt and won!" Kieran exclaimed
Carmine got up from her back and groaned. "Uuuuuuughg!" She yelled in frustration. "First! How dare you knock me off my feet! Second! I can't believe you beat me! There's no way that was possible!"
"Well in my defense, you did ask for a battle. You should have expected that you were going to lose." Florian scratch his hair as he said that. "As for being knock to the ground. That... was also unexpected but this kinda thing happens. I just glad I didn't leave a mark on building.
"Oh so in order words you're happy that I got knock off my butt instead of paying property damage?!"
"Yep." Florian wink as he tick out his tongue.
Carmine got two anime marks. "Grrrrrrr!"
"Anyway, so sorry about that." Florian approached and offer his hand. "Here, let me help you off."
Carmine let a "hmph" as she recalled Vulpix and the take his hand and help her get up. "At least you have some manners to help a lady up."
"L-Lady...?" Kieran asked confusingly.
"Anyway, fine. I'll let you..." Carmine notice Renne wasn't among them. "Wait, where's the—"
"Carmine!" A voice yelled out as they turn and see an old man in a Jinbei outfit come out at the community center with Renne. "What're you doing, causing a ruckus out here?!"
"Kiki! You were supposed to watch her!"
"I-I didn't see her move!" Kieran stated.
"Oh never mind! Come on, we're out of here." Carmine command as she took off running to the left.
"B-But I..." Kieran turn to Florian who wave and smile at him, causing him to light blush a little until he follow. "W-Wait up, sis!"

(Resuming Kitakami Region)
The Old man sighed and approached Florian. "I'm terribly sorry dear guest from Paldea. Your friend told me that your fellow schoolmate has gotten motion sickness in the bustop and those two were blocking your way. I hope those two kids haven't grief you, have they?"
"Not really. In fact, I was reminiscing because that's how when I agreed in Paldea." Florian smiled.
"I see. That's kind of you to say but alas, I hardly don't know what to do with them. Especially Carmine. She's always a handful and I apologize for the trouble she caused. Anyway, I'm the caretaker of the community center in Mossi Town—and a few other things aside. In any case, I take care of everything. So go ahead and get yourself settle in the community center. We'll catch up with you soon!" The caretaker smiled and then he took off running.
"So, did you manage to have fun?" Renne asked.
"Eh, so so." Florian answered
"I have to admit, I was actually surprised you would boldly call that boy you just met cute."
"But you agree, right?"
"I suppose. Don't worry, you can have him if you can." Renne let out a cat smile.
"All right, this way, everyone!" The caretaker said as he return with Briars and the other Uva students.
"I owe you two for fetching the caretaker." Briar smiled. "Our little traveling buddy is feeling much better now too."
"Glad to hear it!" Florian smiled
"All right, everyone! This is the community center! This is where you'll be staying while you're here in Kitakami. The plan was to have you and the students from Blueberry Academy stay here together... but it turns out this space is going to be all for you—our visitors from Uva Academy!"
"Oh, right..." Briar run her chin. "Those two kids were originally from this town, weren't they..."
"You mean Carmine and Kieran?" Florian asked
"Oh I see you already met them. That's right. With that in mind, I assume they'll be staying at home."
"All right, everyone, come in! Don't be shy!" The caretaker said and guided everyone inside.

"Oh, and no need to worry about your shoes or anything. You can leave them on in here. If they're extra dirty, just try to tinse off the worst of the mud using the washing station by the door." The caretaker instructed. "Nice and clean inside, don't you think? It's all newly built, so it's as good as anything you'd find in one of your big, fancy cities!" He turn to the TV. "This here is the lunge. You can watch TV, chat, or relax however you like. And, well, let's see..." He turn to the door on the left. "Over there is the cafeteria. And the toilet will be down that way." Then turn to the other door located near the stand. "When you want to get some sleep, please use the rooms down the hall there. We've got enough space that each of you can have a private room to yourself. So I think... that about covers up everything! But if you run into any trouble at all, don't you hesitate to talk to our fine staff at the desk!"
"Thank you for the tour, sir." Briar clap her hands with a smile. "All right, kids, do you have anything to say to the staff who'll be taking such good care of us?"
"We're glad to be here/Thanks for having us!" Uva Academy Students replied
The caretaker laughed. "What a bunch of well-mannered students! I can already tell you're going to be wonderful visitors. So you just think of this place as your own home away from home, and relax!"
"You all must be tired after such a long day. I know it's a bit early still, but why don't we have dinner, then call it a night?"
"We've got plenty of good ready for you all, so I hope you've brought your appetites!"
"All right!" Uva Academy students nodded.
After Dinner...
"All right, everyone. Listen up. You're free to spend the rest of the evening as you like in the community center. But remember that tomorrow, the program will be officially kicking off. Don't stay up too late, or you might oversleep!"
"Got it!" Uva academy students nodded and they split up.
Renne's Room...
"Goth. Gothitelle!" Gothitelle clapped her hands with joy, seeing Renne's room prepared.
"Thank for helping Gothitelle." Renne smiled. "What will I do without you."
"Goth."
"All right, now that's been taking care off." Renne look at her ARCUS Alpha. "Hmm, three bars, huh? Not bad for a remote region. Either it has a cell site somewhere around here or the professor's satellite is at work. Well, doesn't matter anyway. I better call those guys." She said as she begin to call Tita, Joshua, Estelle.
"Hey, Renne!" Tita answered. "I'm so glad to finally hear from you! Did you arrived to Kitakami well?"
"Oh yeah. Guess what happen when I arrived." Renne said and told her what happen recently.
"I see. I feel so bad about your schoolmate in Paldea for having motion sickness. But these two... Carmine and Kieran, right? Sounds like you're going to have another interest day, huh?"
"Well it would be rather boring without something fun going on around here. But guess what else I've learned about Kitakami? It turns out it has some Tera Phemonon going on here too."
"Really? Why's that?" Tita asked and then Estelle and Joshua came to join the call
"Hey! Sorry for being late!" Estelle cheered. "How you been, Renne?"
"I was wondering when you two were going to show up." Renne replied.
"Well sorry for being late this time. We were on a mission."
"Either that or that you and Joshua were having some couple time."
"R-Renne!"
"Try not to tease her too much, Renne." Joshua said. "Did you make it to Kitakami safe?"
"I did. Here is how the story goes." Renne said and then explain.
"Haha. Sounds like Carmine and Kieran will lighten your day."
"So the same thing that happen in Paldea is over there, huh? Man, I remember meeting Nemona and the first thing she ask was a battle. She's strong, I'll give her that."
"But she is a Champion-Rank, right? It make sense that she's so strong." Tita said.
"But out of everyone here, I think you're pretty much the strongest in Pokemon Battle since you're also a Champion, Renne." Joshua replied
Flashback...
"Whoa, you're crazy strong!" Juna exclaimed as her Quaquaval fell to his knees against Nemona's Pawmot who also had some beat up after changing back to normal from Terastallize.
"Haha! You're amazing yourself! I knew I was right that you look pretty strong! I can tell your friends are strong too!" Nemona giggled.
"Haha. Well we have been through a lot, right, Quaquaval?" Juna asked
"Quaquaval." Juna's Quaquaval nodded
"But what was that you did just now?" Kurt asked
"Oh that's right! Sorry! I forgot that we're outside Paldea." Nemona scratch her hair.
"That's Nemona for you." Penny said.
"Well to answer your questions. That's Terastallazion. It's a phenomenon that a Pokemon can change their Types. But at the same time, while it said type, it also strength the move of that type."
"Wow! That's super cool!" Juna exclaimed
"Wow. First Mega Evaluation, then Z-moves, Dynamax, and now Terastallize." Ash said.
"But you have to admit, it does sound interesting." Rean smiled. "So you have to take special classes to have Tera Orbs?"
"Yep. But I get the feeling you guys would already master it. So I don't think it's necessary." Renne replied. "It is possible for them to get Tera Orbs too, Nemona?"
"Oh yeah, it's fine! I just gotta put a word for them and boom!" Nemona answered.
"Oh, we wouldn't want to trouble you for that." Kurt said.
"Why not? We're all friends here and I'm so glad to make more new friends! So which one of you like to battle me, next?"
"Fine. I'll take a crack at it." Ash step up.
"Oh. Why not you too Instructor Rean?" Musse suggest. "Among everyone. You and Levi are pretty much the strongest."
"Well, my Pokemon can use some fresh battling so I don't see the issue in that." Rean said.
"Yes! All right, let's do this!" Nemona pull out her Pokeball.
"Ahaha... she certainly is lively." Tita nervous laugh. "So did anything else happen in Paldea?"
"Well, me and Florian are Champions."
"Eh?" Tita blinekd. "W-Wait... Champions? Isn't that?"
"Yep. The strongest of all trainers apparently." Renne answered
"Say whaaaaaaat?!"
Later in said flashback...
"Say WHAAAAAAAT?!" Estelle yelled over the phone. "You're a Pokemon Champion, Renne?!"
"Estelle, please keep your voice down. But... I am rather surprised, Renne."
"I also have a legendary Pokemon from the future."
"Say Whaaa—"
Joshua cover Estelle's mouth. "Okay, you clearly have one story to tell."
"Well if you have the time, visit Leeves. I like come of my friends to meet you." Renne said
"Okay, we'll try to visit it but it will take a long awhile to reach Leeve."
"Not unless you visit Smash Bros Castle. But since there isn't a portal in Liberl... How about we meet up tomorrow."
"Yeah, sounds like a plan. Here's hoping we got some free time."
"Yeah! I can't wait to meet your new friends and Pokemon in person too!" Estelle nodded in agreement.
"Well be careful with one. She just happens to love Pokemon battling." Renne warned
End of Flashback...
"Yeah, I still can't get over the fact that you're champion in Paldea. You just started in school just a few days and all of the sudden you not only have a legendary Pokemon from the future and NOW you're a Pokemon Champion. You're really something else, Renne."
"I know. But anyway, I'm safe and sound after that long ride." Renne said
"Hey, Renne. Is it all right that you bring some sovenoors for us? Oh and take some pictures about Kitakami. I would like to show Musse and Instructor Rean about this place." Tita request
"Sure. Well it's getting late over here so I'll call you guys tomorrow or another time."
"Sure. Good night! You too, Gothitelle and others" Estelle nodded and they hang up.
"And with that, we're done." Renne said. "Let's get some sleep, Gothitelle."
"Goth." Gothitelle nodded.
