I was in the middle of writing this after the trailer dropped and taking a break from writing when the DLC dropped days later and I wasn't able to download it from the Playstation Store until Steelwool got it fixed, unfortunately I spoiled the DLC for myself during that ordeal so this fanfiction is already partly outdated, but also not due to the wholesome relationship of Cassie and Roxanne Wolf, but I'm going ahead and writing it anyways.
Edit: I completed the DLC today and I quite liked it even if it frustrated me at points.
Cassie crawled through the broken window of Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex and jumped onto the door arch and slide off it to land on her feet, her shoes lighting up the darkened halls with their neon colors as the sound echoed through the empty room, lighting her way around with her flashlight, the girl suddenly hearing thundering foots steps coming towards her as she let out a shriek as she ran to find a place to hide from what was chasing her as the monster growled and snarled as it pursued her, spotting a place to hide, Cassie ducked underneath the rubble of the Golden Glamrock Freddy statue as what was chasing her stopped to sniff around.
Cassie covered her mouth to avoid making a sound as she slowly lifted her flashlight to see an eyeless face staring back at her as the monster let out a demonic scream as it quickly grabbed the girl's shirt coller to prevent her from escaping her, sniffing her and tilting its head inquisitively.
" Who...*bzzrt* A-a-are You...*rattle* ? " The monster addressed the girl. " You smell *distorted noise* different. "
" I'm...Cassie. I'm looking for someone, I got his distress signal, and it led me here, his name is Gregory, maybe you know him and-" Cassie started to say before the monster abruptly dropped her and started to rattle violently. " Ouch, that hurt my tushie! "
" Of course I know Gregory..*laughs insanely before roaring* HE BROKE ME! " the monster roared. " He ran me over...and took my eyes...he ruined me...*sobbing* I just wanted to help him...and he hurt Chica and Monty too and stole our parts. " she sat down and buried her face in her hands, her casing was greatly damaged with bits of it barely hanging on to her endo, her hair reduced to small strands and her green forelock and judging by the still visible signs above the check in desks flocking the turnstiles, this creature was once the beloved Roxanne Wolf. " I...loved him..."
" I'm sorry that this happened to you, but I need you to help me in finding him " Cassie told her. " Also, ew.."
" Finding him? FORGET HIM! I HOPE HE"S DEAD! " Roxanne bellowed in anguish as she sat down and wept.
" Oh, come on, don't be that heartless and cruel, Ms Wolf. I need your help in finding him, Please? " Cassie pleaded with her favorite animatronic wolf. " I can be your eyes "
Mulling it over in her mind, Roxanne nodded yes as she picked up the little girl and carried her on her shoulders to assist her in the treacherous landscape that what was once her home, letting her down to pick up a walkie talkie with Roxanne's beautiful face on it as it called out to her in Gregory's voice and they started climbing through the elevator shaft ladder, the girl shrieking over the falling elevator slamming down behind her. " Whew, I was almost a Cassie Sandwich! " the girl remarked and they continued through the vents until it gave way to collapsing, sending the two down into the remains of the Salads and Sides kitchen, the floor was covered in debris, disgusting filth, and toppled over equipment save for a drinking bird toy styled after Glamrock Chica, dipping it's beak over am unopened orange can of Chica Chugg as the bird herself jumped out of the filth and grabbed Cassie, making her shriek in fear.
" Oh geez Chica you birdbrain, you scared the poor kid! " Roxy chided her friend as she turned her head and rotated her ears to the direction of the sound in front of her.
* Garbled Gibberish* The damaged bird guitarist said as she glared with her twitching eyes.
" Hey Chica, language, there's a child present. " Roxy chuckled as she patted her friend on her back, making chunks of her plastic casing fall to the ground. " Whoops..."
" Chica, what happened to you? you look awful! " Cassie exclaimed in shock at her second favorite Glamrock's state of disrepair, she was coated and cheese and garbage residue and most of her pink and white casing was cracked to pieces, a trash bag was hanging out of her stomach like disemboweled guts, her hair and bow were completely gone and replaced with large gaping hole in her head, exposing her endo head to the world, her left arm was broken off from the elbow and her right's casing has broken off as well, exposing the metal skeletal structure underneath same with her stomach and parts of her legs, with one of the legwarmers still mostly intact, Chica then shut herself down afterwards and fell into a standing slump.
" Poor Chica..." Cassie said to herself as she and Roxy continued forward to the door leading out of Salad's and Sides before stopping to grab the strange device sitting ontop of a toolbox between two deactivated Wet Floor Bots. " It's a Faz Wench, just like my Dad's. "
" Chica will be fine, she just needs the rest. " Roxy asked as she rested a hand on the girl's shoulder to comfort her. " Were you and him close? "
" Very...I miss him. " Cassie sighed. " But right now, I need to find Gregory and hope he's okay. I know you can't see but the Pizzaplex is a death trap now. "
" I had the feeling it was from all of my fumbling around. " Roxanne lamented. " When we or if we do eventually find Gregory...do try to hold me back Cassie... for his own sake." The wolf warned her with a dark chuckle and cracking her knuckles.
" I'll do my best.." Cassie promised with concern in her voice as she patted her idol on the back nervously before going underneath a turned over shelf and towards a console with two red bent wires. " what's this thing? looks like it connects to the door. " She then pressed the Faz wrench's two prongs into the round slot and started the minigame of turning the forementioned red wires to blue to activate the door and it led her and Roxanne down a ruined stairwell towards the underground utility tunnels, passing by Tangle as he quickly shot up into the abyss as Cassie noticed him, Heading towards a series of utility tunnels before coming upon a big pipe, the girl was jumpscared by Monty, who came running out of the pipe and knocked her into the rushing water.
" CASSIE, NOOOO! Monty you fucking asshole, Cassie didn't do anything to you! " Roxy growled in anger as she beat the hell out of the gator as he cried out in pain. " oh no..now I have to find Cassie, I hope she's alright. "
