It was another sunny day in Cape Suzette, at Higher for Hire everyone inside of the build mood wasn't joyful, they look like if they are waiting for someone to come out of the ER.
"Oh Baloo, what are we going to do?" A female voice said.
Baloo is a tall dark grey anthro bear with a rounded gut who wears a yellow pilot shirt, wearing blue pants and red pilot cap, he looks at the owner of the voice which is an adorable and pretty eight-year-old, yellow-furred, anthropomorphic female, pink-nosed bear cub. She has blue ribbons tied into bows around her ears (giving her the look of pigtails), a pink short-sleeved polo shirt and wearing a blue skirt.
"I don't know Molly." Baloo told the cub.
"But Papa Bear Ms. Cunningham has been gone for an hour now." a fourteen-year-old, brown furred, anthropomorphic male bear cub. He wears a red sweatshirt, white dress shirt, a blue and red baseball cap worn backwards said.
"I know but I'm sure that she's fine she'll probably come through the door right this second." Baloo said.
And just as Baloo said a brown anthropomorphic female bear with long brunette hair in a french twist style, typically wears a white turtleneck sweater, a magenta jacket and violet pants walks in.
"Great news everyone I found a partner for Higher to Hire!" the female bear said.
"Really?" Baloo questioned.
"Yes, I nearly thought about having you fly out to Louie's and see if Louie wanted to be my partner but that won't happen." Ms. Cunningham said.
"Still got beef with him?" Baloo questioned.
"No my "beef" is with you and how much time you spent at Louie's!" Ms. Cunningham said almost getting into Baloo's face.
"Whoa back up Becky." Baloo said nervously.
"And who is the business partner you found?" the teenage bear questioned.
"He's actually right outside." Rebecca said.
"So, he just moved here like you?" a gangly lion wears a mechanic's outfit and an orange baseball cap questioned.
"Actually he has a home nearby." Rebecca said.
"Then how is he an outsider?" the lion questioned.
"I'll let him explain." Rebecca said.
Then an eighteen-year-old anthropomorphic grey male wolf wore a blue collared shirt with short sleeves and white trim, a black undershirt, darker blue jeans, a red and white hat, and red high-top sneakers. He also wore the same fingerless gloves, walks in.
"Hi I'm Ash Ketchum." The wolf known as Ash said.
"Nice to meet you Mr. Ketchup." the lion said.
While everyone else but him and Rebecca stared at Ash.
"It's Ketchum." Ash said.
"Becky, can I talk to you inside the Sea Duck for a minute?" Baloo questioned.
"Okay then?" Rebecca said confused.
The two adult bears leaves the office and heads towards the plane.
"So what do you want to talk about?" Rebecca questioned.
"About you deciding to become business partner with a kid that look like he should be in college!" Baloo answered once he closed the plane's doors.
"What's the problem with that?" Rebecca questioned.
"Rebecca it isn't right if he's fresh out of High School then he has no idea how to run a business." Baloo said.
"Baloo if you would listen to his story you'll learn why I chose to partner with him." Rebecca said.
"And what story is that?" Baloo questioned.
She explained.
"Poor kid." Baloo said.
"Yeah." Rebecca said.
"I guess we can give him a try." Baloo said.
"Good." Rebecca said.
The two bears leave the Sea Duck.
"We're back." Baloo said.
"You guys didn't take long." the teenage bear said.
"We know we needed to clear some things up." Baloo said.
"What is it?" Molly questioned.
"just something involving Mommy's new business partner." Rebecca said.
"Okay." Molly said.
"Hey, Wildcat why don't you show Ash around." Baloo said.
"sure." The Lion said.
The two males leaves the building.
"so what do you think of him so far?" Rebecca questioned.
"So far he's a nice but a bit too young for you Mom." Molly answered.
"what do you mean by that Molly?" Rebecca questioned in confusion.
"Baloo told me about your date with that captain at Louie's." Molly answered.
"Oh, he did but what does that have to do with Ash? Rebecca questioned.
"He's clothes are nothing like we have seen and like the ghost you meet once." Molly said.
"okay Molly where are you going with this?" Rebecca questioned.
"Because you seem to date men that aren't from here." Molly answered.
The realization hit her as she stared at her daughter in shock.
"She's got you there Becky." Baloo said laughing.
Rebecca glares at Baloo before turning to Molly.
"You're right Molly Ash is a bite too young for me." Rebecca said.
Baloo still chuckles.
"What about you Kit?" Rebecca asks the teenager while elbowing Baloo in the gut.
"he's pretty cool." Kit said.
"Good' Rebecca said.
Soon Wildcat and Ash returned.
"Thank you for showing me around Higher for Hire Wildcat." Ash said while patting the lion's shoulder.
"no problem Mr. Ketchup." Wildcat said getting Ash's last name wrong again.
"It's Ketchum." Ash corrects him.
"so Ash what do you think of the place?" Rebecca questioned.
"Pretty nice but I think we should stay with shipments then doing odd jobs given our only plane." Ash answered.
"that's fair." Rebecca said.
'And this one of the few things that doesn't lands us in hot water that often.' Baloo and Kit thought.
"So what now?" Kit questioned.
"We should change the ads we have out and work on a set prices." Ash answered.
"Okay." Rebecca said as she started writing stuff down.
"And I think within a year we should be able to get a second plane and crew." Ash said.
this surprises Baloo.
"Hold your horses! why would we need to get a second and crew?" Baloo questioned.
"It'd be more efficient imagine if you were either away on a job or are unable to do any deliveries having a second plane and crew would allow us to do more jobs and make your job easier." Ash explained.
"Oh." Baloo said as members of the times the Sea Duck was overloaded.
'this is probably the first time someone out points Baloo.' Rebecca thought.
"Before that and anything else we needed to have this place inspected." Ash said.
"why?" Kit questioned.
"To make sure it's up to code and from the look of it this place need some repairs if not need to have it come down and build a new building." Ash answered.
"good point." Rebecca said.
'Now that I think about it how is this place still standing?' Baloo and Kit thought.
"Alright, is there anything else that needs to be addressed?" Rebecca questioned.
"Not right now since it's six in the evening I think we should call it a day." Ash said as he look at the grandfather clock.
"okay then." Rebecca said.
"See you all tomorrow." Ash said as he leaves.
"he's nice." Baloo said.
"And a good head for business" Rebecca added.
"well we should probably turn in." Baloo said.
"So? what are we going to have for dinner Baloo/Mom?" Kit and Molly ask the two adult bears.
"I'm either Pizza or Tacos." Baloo said.
"Pizza." Kit said.
"so everyone wants Pizza?" Rebecca questioned.
"Yes please." everyone said.
While at Ash's house in outer parts of Cape Suzette.
"So I'm now a business partner." He said.
Then a all too familiar yellow mouse came out from its hiding place and walked towards the Wolf.
"hey Pikachu." Ash said.
"Pika?" Pikachu questioned.
"yeah I'm fine." Ash said.
Then the rest of Ash's Pokémon came out of their Pokéballs and run/fly to greet him.
"hey guys." Ash greeted.
The Pokémon let out cries of greeting.
"so how are you guys doing?" Ash questioned.
In their own ways they answered his questioned.
"so you guys adjusting to this new world?" Ash questioned.
They nodded their heads.
"that's good." Ash said.
Ash then walks toward the phone.
"alright you guys hungry?" Ash questioned.
His Pokémon nodded their heads
"Well then how about Pizza?" Ash questioned.
They nodded again.
"alright then." Ash said before dialing the number.
"And I need to look into if there is any cooking classes here." Ash said to himself.
After making his order.
'Man talk about having chaotic luck.' Ash thought about how he get to this world.
~flashback~
The battle between Team Flar and everyone else raging on.
"This is insane!" Ash said.
"I hadn't seen this much fighting since the last war I was a part of." a old, lanky man with pale skin, a hunchback, and perpetually closed eyes. Fittingly for his advanced age, he is also bald and has very little hair on his head, save for his eyebrows and his spiky white beard. For clothing, Ramos wears a rolled-up long-sleeved green shirt with black buttons and brown suspenders, gray work pants with a brown belt and a holster, and green boots with brown soles. To complete his outfit, he also wears an orange scarf, a green cap, and thick green gardening gloves. Additionally, he is always seen with some gardening scissors, keeping them close by said.
"we need to something!" Ash said.
"Any ideas?" Another trainer questioned as their Pokémon were barely holding their own.
"I don't know." Ash said.
"I might have one." A voice on Ash's right said
Ash turns to the voice.
The owner of the voice is a short and skinny young boy with fair skin, blue eyes, and messy medium-length bright yellow hair with a lightning-bolt shaped tuft on top. Outfit-wise, the boy wears clothes that make him resemble a stereotypical geek or nerd. His outfit consists of large round glasses which obscure his eyes, black shoes with white soles, and a yellow-collared skin-tight blue jumpsuit with yellow stripes on the knees and bottom cuffs.
"What's your plan, Clemont?" Ash questioned
"I been work on a dimensional vortex generator I could try to use it to send the fake Zygarde to another dimension." Clemont answered.
"Will that work?" Ash questioned.
"I hadn't gotten a chance to test it." Clemont answered.
"I don't think we have a choice." Ash said.
"I'll get the device ready we might only have one chance to use it." Clemont said as he went to get his backpack and the device.
"Right." Ash said.
"Which means we have to make sure that living rock stay in place!" the old man said.
"right but how?" Clemont questioned.
Ash then realized the fake Zygarde was control by Team Flare's leader.
"What if we go after Lysandre." Ash said.
"That should stop it." Clemont said.
"Alright let's get him!" Ash said.
Then the Trainers near them start focusing on Lysandre.
"Here they come." Lysandre said.
The Fake Zygarde is about read to counterattack the trainers.
"Not so fast." Ash said.
Lysandre looks up to see Ash falling from the sky.
"what!" Lysandre said.
Ash delivered a punch to Lysabdre's face.
"take that!" Ash said.
Lysandre spin from the punch.
"I bet that hurt Lysandre." Ash said.
Ash landed on top of the fake Zygarde's while his Talonflame land next to him.
"alright Lysandre lets do this." Ash said.
"Last time I check you were a Trainer not a Boxer." Lysandre said as he gets up.
"I'm full of surprises." Ash said.
Lysander wipes some blood from his nose.
"you'll pay for that." He said.
"No! you're the one that will pay!" Ash said as he went for a left hook.
As they fight.
The fake Zygarde stop moving which give the trainers, Gym Leaders and everyone else much needed time.
"Alright it's almost ready." Clemont said.
"WHAT ABOUT MY CHESPIE!? IT STILL INSIDE OF THAT THING!?" a short young girl with fair skin, orange eyes, and spiky maroon hair. She wears a slightly tomboyish outfit that consists of a yellow long-sleeved shirt, a small light green cloak with darker green edges, and long dark green pants with two light green triangles on the waist and lighter green cuffs. She also wears brown suspenders to keep her pants in place, along with gray socks paired with brown shoes. For accessories, she wears a yellowish-orange scarf tied with a matching ribbon, along with a small bracelet on her right wrist and a green hat with orange triangles and a small yellow pompom on top, shouted.
"Don't worry we'll have saved it before we use the device." Clemont said.
Then a familiar Trainer with his Mega Charizard X head towards the fake Zygarde's core
"I'm coming Chespie!" he shouted.
"Charizard! Dragon Claw!" the trainer ordered.
With a roar Charizard breaks through.
within the red crystal Chespie seems to resemble a porcupine or hedgehog. It has a tough spiky green chestnut-like shell covering its head and back. Chespie has brown fur, a large orange triangle-shaped nose, black oval-shaped eyes, and a toothy grin. It has sharp claws on its large feet, and an orange tip on the end of its pointed green tail.
"Charizard get Chespie." Alain ordered.
The black Charizard went inside and grab the smaller Pokémon and fly out of there.
"We have you Chespie." Alain said.
"See." Clemont said but he wasn't watching what he was welding.
"Clemont watch out!." Maron said but it was too late.
The device activated hitting the fake Pokémon.
"Uh oh." Clemont said.
The dimensional vortex open and drew the fake Pokémon in.
"Ash is still on that thing!" Clemont said.
Alain tries to go higher by the pull of the vortex is growing stronger.
"Ash!" He screamed.
Ash look towards the direction of the voice who called without noticing the fake Pokémon's body being broken apart.
"Get out of there!" Alain said.
Before Ash could get off Lysandre put him in a head lock.
"Not so fast!" He said.
On the ground behind the fake Pokémon Pikachu was racing to help his partner.
"Pikachu!" He said.
But it was too late the pull of the vortex all those on top of the head in.
"Oh no!" Ash said.
Talonflame fly towards his trainer in the hope of pulling him away from the vortex.
Only to get caught in it too..
Within seconds Ash, his Pokémon with Lysandre was gone.
"No." Alain said.
The vortex close after drawing in the last part of the fake Pokémon.
"Ash." Clemont said.
Then two girls run up to the Gym Leader.
"Clemont can we get Ash back?" One of them questioned.
"I don't know." he answered
"What do you mean you don't know?" the other girl questioned.
"The power source I use was a shard from Reflection Cave." Clemont answered.
"Well, can't you get another one?" The first girl questioned.
"Turns out each crystal is link to a different dimension and I don't know which one the shard came from." Clemont answered.
"We need to try!" The first girl said.
"Can we but there's no guaranteed that we will find the right one." Clemont said
it's better than doing nothing!" The second girl said.
"That is two other ways but both are long shots." Clemont said
"What?" The first girl questioned.
"The first is to find Palkia and try to capture it." Clemont answered.
"Palkia?" The first girl questioned.
"It's a Legendary Pokémon that's lives between dimensions." Clemont answered.
"Oh." The first girl said.
"The second is the research of Ultra-Wormholes the Aether Foundation is doing in Alola." Clemont said.
"I see." The first girl said.
"Now you see why I said they are long shots." Clemont said
"Yeah." the first girl said.
~Flashback over~
Ash then heard a knock on his door.
"Who is it?" Ash questioned.
"It's the pizzas you ordered." a male voice answered.
"Cool." Ash said before walking to the door.
Ash opens his front door to shows a dalmatian teen holding ten pizza boxes.
"Here's your pizza." The teen said.
"Thank you." Ash said as he takes the pizzas and place them on his coffee table.
"Happy to be of service." The teen said.
"How much?" Ash asks as he walks back to the door frame.
"$29.99" the teen said.
Ash hands the teen 30 dollars for the pizzas and ten dollars for a tip.
"Thank you." The teen said.
"No problem have a nice day." Ash said
"You too." The teen said before leaving.
Ash waves to the teen as they enter their car.
"Alright, guys let's eat." Ash said
Ash took two of the boxes while the rest are for his Pokémon.
"Alright guys dig in!" Ash said.
