22. Determation

A/N: Hey guys, This is Dave and I'm back for a new chapter of 'Blazblue Advent'. This took me so long that I have no choice but to skip the 2nd anniversary of this fic because I have a lot of things to do so have little time to write this and i have to take care a bunch of stuff as well so hope you guys enjoy this long chapter and without futher ado, let us begin.

The Determination of Friendship

At an alley in Ikaruga, Arakune was sliming on the area, looking for any signs of Azure.

"W_ _s _e? I ne_ Azu_." Arakune says, looking around fierecelyfiercely when Dizzy shows up.

"Hello, Arakune. Nice to see you again, sqeeek!" Dizzy says.

"W_ d_ _ou wa, _at?" Arakune ask angrily.

"Squeek, I want you to help me with something." Dizzy answer.

"A_ _at _ld i_ _e?" Arakune ask, calm down.

"I need you to help me taking down a certain someone, Squeek." Dizzy answer.

"A_ _at d_ I g_n re, _at?" Arakune ask.

"You get to have your revenge on this person, Sqeek." Dizzy answer as he shows a picture of Vulturon.

"O_ th_ B, I_ go_ to be_ hi_ b_ _ter wh_ _e _ne t_ m_." Arakune says, anger at the sight of the Psuderoid.

"So it's a yes or a no, Arakune?" Dizzy asked eagerly.

"I_ a _mn _es, b_." Arakune answer.

"Very well, we shall make haste and fly to our opponent." Dizzy says as he grabs Arakune and flies off to the Vulture Psuderoid.

Elsewhere, Litchi was on her way around Ikaruga, finding Arakune.

"Ikaruga… Roy Is Here?" Litchi says, looking where Arakune could be without knowing that he already left "Perhaps my observation is incomplete… and I do not understand it cleary, but I can sense his pressence. He's somewhere here… I know Relius has something up his sleeve… I need to find Roy as quickly as possible." Litchi says.

"Even if I find Roy… what am I supposed to do with him? I have no idea how to return him to normal… Taking him back, I guess I have to hide him away… My work will be meaningless if he becomes Relius's pawn once more." Litchi nodednodded and muttered to herself "I have to strengthen my ability as an observer."

After some time of traveling with Ragna and Buckfire, Rachel make an appearance and told the Doctor that she was given the ability to be Arakune's observer so she's tried to use it to her full potential to find him.

'But how? I don't even know how to do that…" Litchi thought, wonder where would she start 'Io wonder… If there's some kind of mechanical enhancement… That's something Professor would… and she's in Ikarugra right now.'

"That could work consider I didn't betray her, I think this could work." Litchi says with a positive note before doubting "But she could be busy considering the whole Azrael situation and the war agianstagainst the NOL as well. And if that's the case, there's no one who would be able to…"

"No, I don't have time to doubting myself… I'm the only one who can save him." Litchi says, determination growing back on her "I need to find Professor Kokonoe. I will do anything to get Roy baclback. Anything!"

So Litchi continues to travel the lower end to find Kokonoe, hoping for the best.

At the Rail Station, Kagura was waiting for someone as a rail train appears to its stop and opens up a bunch of passengers, one of them happens to be Tsubaki.

"Hey, Tsubaki! Welcome back to the club." Kagura welcomes Tsubaki eagerly.

"Colonel Mutsuki… It has been some time. Sorry to trouble you, coming out to greet me yourself like this." Tsubaki says, bow down.

"Quite alright. More importantly. I heard you were promoted. Congratulations are inare in order!" Kagura says, happy for his friend's promotion but looks worried of said friend's lack of reaction "Why the long face?"

"It's nothing." Tsubaki answer shortly "Colonel… I'm terribly sorry ask this of you. But could you please stop addressing me informally when we are in public?"

"We've know each other for a long time! Why not just embrace it?" Kagura ask, winking his left eye.

"While that may be trure, that's unrelated for the most part." Tsubakli answer coldly as she close her eyes "Please, just treat me as a subordinate."

"It's fine, it's fine. Anyway, Tsubaki… Looks like you've become quite the responsible adult. Such a waste on little Jinny…." Kagura jokes, getting a little closer to Tsubaki.

"Colonel Mutsuki, if that's supposed to be a joke, please stop…" Tsubaki says with her teeth grin up as Kagura gets a serious look and lean close to Tsubaki's ears.

"Tsubaki, we have something of great importance to dicussdiscuss later. I'll be waiting for you later." Kagura says as he makes a distance between him and Tsubaki.

"Well, well, Colonel Kagura Mutsuki. What an honor." A voice says as Tsubaki turns around to see Hazama walking towards them with his usual smile "I'm Hazama, of the intelligence Department. Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"Ah, Hazama." Kagura says with hints of anger.

"Oh, so you've heard of me? My goodness indeed, what an honor." Hazama says.

"An honor? Is he being serious or not?" Kagura ask himself quietly.

"What was that?" Hazama ask, hearing something that aim towards him.

"Oh, nothing." Kagura answer quickly as he switch topics "So are you here on Intelligence DepartmrntDepartment business or something?"

"Here." Hazama says, handing out a letter to the Colonel of NOL.

"Oh? What's this?" Kagura ask, open the letter.

"A letter from the Imperator regarding my business here." Hazama answer

"I see…" Kagura says, reading the letter ""Don't get in the way of these two", presumably I suppose."

"I don't have any way of knowing what it says. It's a letter from the Imperator, and I'm merely her humble servant." Hazama says.

"Well then. It doesn't matter, you can do as you like. I'll pay no attention to whatever it is you're up to. My troops and resources are at your disposal." Kagura says, hoping Hazama is at the very least reasonable.

"Very gracious. Along those lines-." Hazama says.

"Oh? Is there something else as well?" Kagura asked with wide eyes.

"We're acting as the Imperator's will here. You understand my meaning?" Hazama asked.

"The Imperator's will overrides all other commands. I climbed the ranks, I understand that much." Kagura answer.

"I merely thought it prudent to remind you of our role here." Hazama says.

"CaptianCaptain Hazama. That man is your superior officer, and you will accord him the respect he deserves." Tsubaki says harshly.

"So sorry, Major Yayoi, I overstepped my bounds. My deepest apologies." Hazama apologies as Tsubaki turns back to Kagura.

"We'll begin our mission immediately, then. The Punition Department shall be on our Ars magus vessel, so you won't need to prepare yours. On that note, if you'll excuse us, Colonel…" Tsubaki says.

"Yes ma'am, thank you ma'am, excuse me ma'am. Good luck on your mission." Kagura says with his eyes closed as Tsubaki moves first.

"Oh, by the way, Colonel Mutsuki. Since I've come so far tooto see you, would you mind if I happened to drop by your office later on?" Hazama asked.

"Yes, I would. Don't trouble yourself." Kagura says harshly.

"Well, that's cold of you. C'est la vie, I suppose." Hazama says as he continue with his eyes opening "But please, if you wouldn't mind, give your pet cat a treat for me, Colonel. Maybe some warm milk."

Kagura was left wide eyes as Hazama leaves right after, knowing well what's the implication means.

"Dammit, he already knows? I hate that guy." Hazama says as he walks back to the NOL headquarters "I need to tell Kokonoe about this or else."

Some time later on the Raik station, Litchi walks in, still searching about the Proffessor'sProfessor's whereabout.

"No leads… is she really in Ikaruga? But where? And why!?" Litchi asked herself "She never does anything unnecessarily… there has to be a reason why she's here in the first place."

"What am I doing… how could I begin to understand what she's thinking…" Litchi says with a sad smile "I need to find clues… one step at a time."

"Litchi Faye-Ling" a feminine voice shouts as Bullet appears, stopping Litchi from her tracks.

" who are you? I don't get the feellingfeeling that you've stopped me just for ask for directions." Litchi says.

"Tell me the whereabouts of your master, Kokonoe." Bullet says eagerly.

"Ah, I see. Well, I'm sorry but I don't know where she is." Litchi answer honestly.

"What? But you must know something about her…" Bullet says in surprise.

"No, I don't know where she is. You've asked the wrong person. Now if you excuse me, I'll be going." Litchi says as she walks away but Bullet wasn't having any of it.

"Hold it right there. You think you'll just walk away with that kind of response? I know Kokonoe and Relius were involved in the mission to retrieve the Phenomena Weapons." Bullet shouted angrily.

"Wha-?" Litchi says, confused of what Bullet means by it.

"If you insist on playing dumb… I'll have to beat the answers out of you." Bullet says, perpareprepare for a battle stance.

"Are you joking? Here? In The middle of town?!" Litchi asked.

"Unfortunately, I don't joke around. You're the first real clue I've found and I'm not about to lose my lead here." Bullet says seriously.

(Cue Oriental Flower from Blazblue)

Bullet runs into Litchi to deliver a punch, but the doctor was able to dodge as she summons her weapon, Manbeto out as Litchi blocked Bullet's next punch with her weapon.

"Where did you keep that?" Bullet asked as Litchi breaks off before attack back as Litchi thrust her staff into Bullet before knee to her face, knocking her out a few distance away.

"A woman never share her secret." Litchi answer as she rush towards Bullet for another assultassault to put her down, but the Mercenary was perpareprepare for this. Bullet block the incoming attacks from Litchi before jab the Doctor in the body before upward kick her into the air as Bullet utilize this moment to jump up above the doctor.

"Hope you enjoy this." Bullet shouts as her gloves burn up and she grabs them together to slam Litchi, hitting her to the ground.

"Ghh, I need to end this as soon as possible." Litchi says grudinglygrudgingly as she stands up and Bullet lands.

"Now tell me what you know about Relius and Kokonoe." Bullet shouts as she ran back into Litchi but the Doctor expect this to happen as she throws her weapon to Bullet, who was able to briefly dodge it.

"What were you expecting f-" Bullet says confusingly but was shutted by Litchi uppercut her jaw before the Doctor deal some damage to the Mercenary as Litchi sent Bullet up and did a windmill kick once Litchi was able to jump to Bullet's range before dive kick her down, injuring Bullet badly.

"Please, stop this nonsense." Litchi pleaded, want to end this in less injury.

"Not until you told me what I want to know." Bullet shouts as she stands back up and runs to Litchi, willing to beat her until she gets what she wants.

"Well, you'll give me no choice." Litchi says as she jumps in front of Bullet, passing through her as the Mercenary turns to see The Doctor lands next to her poll, which she pick back up.

"So that's where it been huh? Well, no matter since I'm going to get what I want." Bullet says as she runs back to Litchi before the Doctor prepare with her poll. They traded blows after blows, with Bullet taking hits from the staff while Litchi got some bruises from the punch as both looking for an opportunity to put down the other.

"Have a taste of this." Litchi shouts as she thrust her staff to Bullet, who block it in time as the doctor use this opportunity to attack more. She starts with an upward squat to Bullet's chin and then use the staff to whack on her opponent's body and head before doing an ax kick, sending Bullet to the ground as Litchi lands down gracefully, the staff lands onto Bullet as it spins around, making the Mercenary take more damage before the staff returns back to Litchi's hand.

(End song)

"I'm sorry but I don't have time to deal with you!" Litchi says as she puts her staff away while Bullet is down and runs away.

"Damn it, I won't let you get away that easily." Bullet shouts as she gets back up and chase after Litchi, not letting go of her clue anytime soon.

At the forest in the evening, Vulturon and Rin continue to go to Ikaruga to meet up with the others as the two meet a road block in a bunch of tree bodies standing in their ways with a bunch of them are sharp and covered with black substance.

"Damn, never expect the monsters to just build a scene like this." Vulturon says, a bit of shock at what he's seeing. He remember His brother, Bifrost mentions though that Seither beasts can be killed by natural disatersdisasters just like people can as well but he didn't expect that destructive to be as such powerful as what he's seeing.

"So do we have to go around or something like that?" Rin asked.

"Nah, I got my own way." Vulturon says as he grabs his guitar and pulls a string, letting out a small energy wave aswave as it hits the ground and emerge from it was Mattrex.

"Hello, Boss. It's good to be here." Mattrex says before notice Rin and look at her for a moment "And you must be the girl from the other side that those two are talking about."

"That's right. My name's Rin Tohsaka, nice to meet you." Rin says, extend her arm for a handsakehandshake.

"Matt Burn Dinorex but you can call me Mattrex if you want to." Mattrex says, accept the handsakehandshake.

"Nah, I rather call you Matt instead," Rin says as the two lets go of their hands before Mattrex turn to his boss.

"Anyways, what do you call me for Boss?" Mattrex asked.

"I want you to handle this situation for us." Vulturon answer, pointing towards the pile.

"Sure do, boss." Mattrex says as he walks towards the pile and picks up one by one for a clear path all the while dodge the black substencesubstance. As he was doing it, Rin decide to ask some question to the Condoroid.

"So Vulturon, how do you summon them exactly?" Rin asked. She has little knowledge about technology since magic and science are two very different things and the fact mages are tend to be bad at modern technology because of their belief that Sorcery is superior than machines.

"Well, I think of someone that I make a deal with and just let it out with a strum of my guitar." Vulturon answer.

"Someone that you make a deal with?" Rin asked, tilt her head a bit in confusion.

"Yeah, I can talk with the others from the other side of our heaven and make a deal towards them. The ones that I summon are the ones that accepts it." Vulturon answer. Some time after he and his brothers were settle in with this world, the Condoroid decides to learn more about Necromancy and that's where he learn that he can talk to spirits but instead of forcing them, he decides to let them make their choice and a few accept his offer.

"Wow, so you didn't force them but you let them join you instead huh?" Rin asksed. Normally, Necromancers are tend to be evil so for her to meet a good one is quite a shock. Though unknown to her, Vulturon used to be evil but he has a change of heart and become good due to certain events.

"Yep." Vulturon answer as Mattrex moves done the tree piles, leaving a clear path ahead of them.

"All right. All done, boss." Mattrex says.

"Good job, Mattrex. Let's get going." Vulturon says as the trio continue to walk towards Ikaruga.

"So Matt, what makes you decide to work for Vultron?" Rin asked curiously. If what Vulturon says is true, then the dinosaur Maverick must have his reasons.

"Well, the reason I work for him is because I would love a good fight. That and the fact that I get to live again, albietalbeit through someone else rather than myself." Mattrex answer.

"Wow, another idiot who loves to fight things out." Rin says unsurprisingly, which makes Mattrex glares at her angrily and Vulturon to chuckle, which make her turns to him "What's so funny?"

"You'll be shocked to know that Mattrex used to be a weapon storage owner with the weapons happens to create by him from magma energy before his death." Vulturon answer, which left Rin shocked before adds "And that's not to mention the fact he used to be a member of the Repliforce, a force that would help the Maverick Hunters destroy Mavericks Aka Reploids go rouge."

"Don't remind me of that, Boss." Mattrex says grimly, not wanting to think back of how his previous life was but decide to smirk at the mage "And that's not even mention the fact that I create the portal as well."

"Are you serious?" Rin asked shockingly.

"Well, he did have some help but he did most of it." Vulturon answer.

"Wow, here I thought that your men would just love battles and nothing else but that doesn't seem to be the case." Rin says, her shocked ran out.

"It's like what they said, "Never judge a person through looks alone"." Vulturon says.

"Yeah, and I can't believe I fell for it for the second time in a row." Rin says, which cause Mattrex to raise an eyebrow. Who could make the Magi felt like that for the first time.

"Let me guess, you got that same feeling around Ragna as well?" Vulturon asked as Mattrex wide his eyes in shock as if to ask "She knows Ragna?" to which Vulturon nods at it.

"Yeah, I didn't expect him to be polite for the most part." Rin answer as she thought about the times Ragna stay with her during the Holy Grail War. Those were some bittersweet memories as she saw Servants died, including her Rival, Lugavelita's Servant and her teacher Kirei as well, even though both were enemies at some point. She understand the reasons why they have to die, that doesn't mean she can't felt sadness for them.

"Yeah, people always mistook him as evil, coldblooded and heartless. He only want to kill people and destroy the NOL within and all other stuff but once you get to know him, he shows to be the exact opposite." Vulturon says with a grin on his face.

"If I remember correctly, didn't you tell some people that they were wrong about Ragna Boss?" Mattrex ask.

"Yeah, I did." Vulturon answer as the three continue to walk, not knowing of Dizzy hiding in a nearby tree.

"Mattrex, I wonder though why you decide to join that Vulture in the first place. Well, I get to know the answer soon." Dizzy says maliciously as he flies to a nearby tree to perpareprepare for his strike against them.

"W_ _re st_ th_ _wn?" Arakune asked, following the bat.

"Be paitentpatient, my friend and you'll soon get that revenge." Dizzy answer as he continues to spy them, waiting for the right moment to strike.

At a alley of Ikaruga Shopping district, Makoto crossed her arms as she thought about the info she got, not knowing Prometheus is up nearby and looking at her.

"A woman thought to be Relius Clover's subordinate was reported entering Ikaruga. Apparently, she's caused some trouble and she's now on the run…" Makoto says, wonder who the subordinate is, unaware of Promethesus watching her from the sides.

"So based on the description I got from witnesses… long ponytail, a red Chinese and big breates? That sounds exactly like Miss Litchi." Makoto says.

"So Litchi was thought to be Relius's subordinate, huh?" Promethesus ask himself quietly At this before shrugs off "Then again, Hazama makes an offer for her so the chance of she accepting this is possible."

The Mega Man Reaper was here due to Relius giving him an order, one that he finds odd as he thinks back around it.

"Anyways, I shall take my leave as I gotta go somewhere." Relius says as he and Ignis take their leaves.

"See ya later." Prometheus says.

"See you later, too." Relius says as he was about to walk out of the door but before he leaves, he turn back to the Mega man "That reminds me, I have something that you can do for me."

"And what would that be?" Prometheus asked, curious.

"I need you to go and find Litchi and bring her back." Relius answer.

"Litchi? Isn't she the Doctor that refused Hazama's offer to work with the NOL?" Prometheus asked curiously.

"Yes, her." Relius answer, which make Prometheus looking at him dumbfounded.

"You want me to go out there to get That Doctor back here, am I hearing things right?" Prometheus ask, which Relius nods back "What would you get from out of it?"

"There's something that Litchi has and that thing is what I get." Relius answer.

"So basically, you want me to go find Litchi and bring her back here?" Prometheus asked.

"Yes, and I'm asking you because Dizzy leaves early and Magnus hasn't returned." Relius answer, giving his reasons.

"Hmp, since I've got nothing better to do at the moment sure, why not?" Prometheus shrugs.

"Good, now get going as she's somewhere in Ikaruga." Relius asked as he leaves.

"Well, better get going. I suppose." Prometheus says as he leaves shortly after.

"What should I do? Do I tell Professor Kokonoe?" Makoto ask herself "I can't figure it out, why would Miss Litchi be here? This woman might just be a lookalike…"

"I shouldn't report this until I'm sure, right? If I report the wrong information, I don't want to get upgraded or rebuilt!" Makoto says as she notice someone nearby "Hmm…"

A little confused, Prometheus looks up to see Litchi in sight and she seems to look at something behind her so she ran away as fast as she could.

"Oh my gosh! It's really her! Tager! Do you copy? Tager!" Makoto shouts as her monitor open up to show Tager.

"What's the matter, Makoto?" Tager asked, wonder what the Beastkin's issues are.

"I think Litchi is Relius's subordinate! And she just passed by!" Makoto answer Fastly.

"Calm down, you're not making sense at the slightest. Litchi, you mean Litchi Faye-Ling?" Tager asked.

"Yeah, her." Makoto answer.

"I didn't think this was possible but… follow her! Tell me the exact location you saw her." Tager says, uncertain about Litchi's being a spy.

"Hmp, looks like I have to follow her to get to and know more about Litchi." PromethesusPrometheus says as he makemakes sure to not cause a ruckus to get to Litchi when his right arm was seething in pain as he grabs it with his remain arm "I guess my battle against that Gazelle hurt me a lot but I must continue regardless if I want to get my job done."

At the NOL base of Ikaruga, Kokonoe was waiting at a room for Kagura as Celica dress up for their trip. She was now wearing a student's clothes, which consist of a white top, black skirt, a cape and a red bow.

"Okay, now I'm ready to go." Celica says.

"Sure, but I lead you later. For now, I have something to take care of." Kokonoe says as Celica nods and leaves the room takes some rest for a bit asnd Kokonoe stares at the window and licking her lollipop 'Wonder when Kagura get back?'

Suddenly her phone beeps up as she picks it up to see Tager "Hey Tager, what's the issue?"

"Makoto thinks Litchi is Relius's SubbordinateSubordinate, ProffesorProfessor." Tager answer.

"What? How is that possible?" Kokonoe askasks confusionglyconfusingly. She rememberremembers saw her back in the clinic and she told the Beastkin that she refuse the offer so for that felt odd.

"I don't know how but Makoto saw Litchi and soon or later, she runs away from her as soon as possible." Tager answer.

"Well, capture her then. Make sure to bring her back for questions." Kokonoe orders.

"Roger." Tager says.

"Wait, what about Noel?" Kokonoe asked, wonder where the Blonde went.

"I sent her back to the headquarters, she should be back soon." Tager answer.

"That's good, now get going." Kokonoe says as she close her phone up and turn back to the window "Litchi better have a good reason to run away or I brand her as a traitor and never forgive her for this treachery."

At sundown, Vulturon, Rin and Mattrex were continuningcontinuing travel as Rin notice a city up ahead.

"Is that our destination?" Rin asked, point to the city.

"Yes, that's the 6TH Hierarchical City Yakibo." Vulturon answer.

"So Ikaruga is composed of several Hierarchical cities, am I correct?" Rin asked.

"Yes, you are correct. And for the record, it's five cities." Vulturon answer.

"IntterestingInteresting." Rin says as Mattrex notice something from the tree looking at them so he turns towards it to see some leafsleaves rustle.

"Something matter?" Vulturon asked.

"I thought something were after us, boss." Mattrex answer as he suddenly felt like time stop and smell of blood. His boss and Rin suddenly stop as well "Do you guys feel that?"

"Yeah, smell of blood and the feelling of time loss." Rin answer, felt shocked of this feelling.

"If they're here, that means one thing." Vulturon says as a sound of flapping can be heard as the three turned turn to see Dizzy flying towards them, his fangs opens up and his arms are strechstretch to grab something. Mattrex catch Dizzy's arms, which he's's been pulled a few distance away due to the sheer force of Dizzy's speed before throw him back as the bat land elegantly as the feeling and blood smell faded away.

"Well vell, it's been a while since our last encounter Sqeek?" Dizzy asked.

"It's been a while indeed, Dizzy." Vulturon answer, narrow his eyes at the sight of the bat "So, what are you doing here then?"

"Isn' it obvious. I'm here to kill you like the Imperator told me." Dizzy answer as Rin notice the robotic parts of the bat, able to piece things together.

"Is he from your word as well, Matt?" Rin asked quietly, to which the Dinosaur only nods.

"Well, you're sure to make an apperenceappearance there." Vulturon says, a little impress.

"Vell, how else am I suppose to kill you right then?" Dizzy asked.

"Fair point, I suppose." Vulturon answer with a shrug.

"Look, I don't know who you are but you're not gonna take his life and I make sure of it." Rin says dertemainly.

"And that includes me as well." Mattrex says angerly.

"Sqeeeek. Is this suppose to be a joke? A damsselldamsel going to protect someone?" Dizzy asked confusingly, which anger Rin.

"I'll have you know, I'm no Damsell in distress. I'm actually a capable fighter in my own rights." Rin says.

"We'll see about that, squeek." Dizzy says as he turns to Mattrex "Well well, Matt. It's been a long time since our last meettingmeeting, hasn't it? Sqeek."

"You better get out of here or else, Dizzy." Mattrex says with anger in his voice.

"Aww, what's vwrong? Not happy to see an old friend? Sqeek." Dizzy asked delightfully.

"You ain't my friend, Dizzy. Never was and never will." Mattrex says, trying his best to compose.

"Is there something wrong, Mattrex?" Vulturon asked, concern for his large T-rex Employer.

"I'm fine boss, just a little angry." Mattrex answer.

"It's understandable why consider why you were killed in the first place." Dizzy says smugly, which shock Mattrex for a bit.

"How did you know about that?" Mattrex asked shockingly, wonder how did Necrobat knows about that detail but a thought occurred to him, one that seem likely to happen.

"Before the two of them get to me, I was able to see and hear why you battle them in the first place and I gotta say: that's kinda sad." Dizzy answer as he dogdedodge a fireball from Mattrex, who was letting out a flames in his mouth and clench his fist fierecelyfiercely.

"If you're here to kill us, then why don't you do it right now?" Mattrex asked angrily.

'What's wrong, Mattrex? Why are you showing this angry?' Vulturon asked. For All of his time of working with Vultron, Matt never show a sign of anger at the slightest so for him to show a lot emotion means whatever it is, it's a big issue.

"I'll talk about it a different time, boss." Mattrex answer shortly, calm himself to a degree.

"Which may never happen since I've vill kill you three here, Sqeek." Dizzy says, cracking his fists.

"Are you sure that's a good idea? I mean, I could have a trick up my sleeve." Vulturon says, pulling off his guitar for the battle.

"That's funny, because I have a trick up my sleeve as well." Dizzy answer as Mattrex suspect something behind them after the Bat's words so he turn to see Arakune emerging from the ground with his bone hands showing as he tries to grabs Vulturon and Rin but the Dinosaur Maverick intercept that with his flames, making Arakune Back off for Vulturon to turn.

"Aw great, not this blob again." Vulturon says in annoyance of the sight of Arakune.

"You know this thing?" Rin asked, a little frighten at the Blob.

"Yeah, his name is Roy for some or Arakune for others." Vulturon answer as he piece together Arakune's apperenceappearance and Dizzy's word "Did you bring him with you or something, Dizzy?"

"Yes, I did. He vanted revenge from you." Dizzy answer eagerly.

"Of course, he fucking does." Vulturon swears, knowing why Arakune wanted revenge him on the firsty place as he turns to Mattrex "Can you deal with Dizzy while I and Rin handle Arakune, Mattrex?"

"I can do that by myself, boss." Matttrex answer as he turns to the Bat and cracking his fist "You have to get past me to face the boss."

"If that's the case then so be it, Mattrex." Dizzy says aggresively.

"So, we have to fight this thing?" Rin asked.

"Yeah, don't underestimate it though. It shows to be a threat when I face this thing." Vulturon answer, pull out his guitar as he and Rin prepare a battle stance.

Dizzy makes a first move by doing a dive kick to Mattrex while Arakune lunges at Vulturon and Rin. The dinosaur Maverick block it in time before break off the stance and breathing out flames to Dizzy, who takes some damage as Vulturon blocks Arakune's lunge with a Sound Vibration before Rin steps in and slaps the blob before doing a high kick to the chin, follow up by Vulturon slamming his guitar to Arakune.

" _W, y _ _o ar_ g_a p_ _or t_s." Arakune says angrily as he slid himself up.

"We'll see about that, Arakune." Vulturon says as he prepare his guitar for another slam but Arakune dogdedodge it beforehand as he reveals his claw and slash at Vulturon before Arakune mutate into a drill and attacks Rin, dealing damage to her before she counterback with a forward punch.

"AAGH, disgusting. You're gonna pay for it." Rin says disgustingly as she dust off her clothes before raise a gem and fire off light beams to Arakune, who able to narrowly duck down but the Magi perpareprepare for that as she throw a gem to him as he been hit by it, leaving him open as Rin use this opportunity to blast Arakune with multiple light beams again, this time hits as the attack deals damage to the seithr monster.

"How do you think Matt's doing?" Rin asked, concern for the Dinosaur Maverick as Arakune slips back up and charge at her with his claws but Vulturon able to stop it in time with his Sound Vibration and slam his Guitar against the liquid seithr, creating distance as Vulturon turns to the Magi.

"You gotta know when to ask, Rin." Vulturon says harshly but decides to shrug "And as for the question, knowing Matt, he would be able to hold off Dizzy for a while before we can come to help him."

"I know, I just felt though that Dizzy is off somehow and he may overwhelm Mattrex." Rin says as she able to turn to see Arakune charging at her with his claws, the Magi able to dodge most of them except for the 4th hit, which damage her slightly as she push him back with a gem containing wind power.

"Wow, that's impressive." Vulturon says, amazed "If that ever come, then we need to prepare for him and Arakune as well."

"Sure." Rin says as Arakune use the conversation to chomp on both her and Vulturon and chew on them for a few seconds before blow them out, damage them greatly as the blob attempt to strike more from the air but the two able to counter him back as the fight continues on their side.

Meanwhile, Mattrex tries to punch Dizzy but the bat was able to counter back with his own fist.

"You seem to learn much about fighting styles, huh?" Mattrex ask as he attempt to catch Dizzy off guard with a tail swipe, only for Dizzy to jump and kick the Dinosaur in the back.

"I learned it from this world naturally and nice try, Mattrex." Dizzy answer as the Bat uses his chance to send out soundwaves to Mattrex, who was able to turn back and fires out his flame, causing an explosion. Mattrex take advantage of this as he runs towards the smoke that the explosion creates, the bat able to hear him as he fired waves after waves of sound to cause distance between the two but the Dinosaur Maverick able to dodge every wave before grabs Dizzy from behind and suplex him.

"How do you like that?" Mattrex asked smugly as Dizzy gets up and reponseresponse with a kick, hitting The Dinosaur in the stomach for some damage.

"A little cocky there, are ve?" Dizzy says as he flies up and summon bats to his service "Get him, my dears."

The bat flies towards Mattrex with their fangs opens as Mattrex shoots down every nearly single one of them with his flames while others got crush by the Dinosaur's Jaw before charging at Dizzy with his left fist as the bat able to dodge swiftly with a small smirk, only for the second punch that Mattrex makes to connect to the face.

"Now looks who being cocky." Mattrex says as he waste no time to rush up to Dizzy for more attack as the bat able to stand up as he being assaulted by the Dinosaur's hands before being hit into the crotch, lowering the bat's head as Mattrex took this opportunity to grab his head and drop himself to stun Dizzy.

"Why don't you just give up already, Dizzy?" Mattrex asked as Dizzy slowly standing up.

"Because I'm determine to kill your 'boss', Mattrex." Dizzy answer angrily as he s out soundwaves to Mattrex, who able the first but been hit by the second one, stun him for a few seconds. The bat use this opportunity for some punches and kicks before biting on Mattrex's neck, attempt to suck out his blood for healing but the Dinosaur able snap out and grabs Dizzy to throw him to a nearby tree, which Dizzy lands to the tree safely and jump for a kick, which Mattrex briefly dodges as he took this opportunity to grab both Dizzy's legs and powerbomb him.

"Give up while you can or things only get worse, Dizzy." Mattrex says fierecly as he breathes flames to Dizzy. As much as he loves fighting, he wants to end this as fast as he could as the bat could kill him at any moment and he ín't wasting his second chance just like that. Dizzy able to dodge the flames but been caught off guard by Mattrex's fist as the Dinosaur grabs the bat's arm with his arms on fire from the flames that he breath and bite it before Mattrex headbuts Dizzy and perform a supplex on him again.

"Hope you prepare for this." Mattrex says as he grabs Dizzy's legs and spins around viciously with the legs in hand as the Dinosaur throws the Bat away at a nearby rock as Dizzy was injured alot by the boulder as he falls dơn with some rocks fall onto him as well.

"You are still strong as ever, Mattrex." Dizzy says painfully as he stood back up from the damage and dust himself off as Mattrex looking at him suspiciously. The fact Dizzy compliment him while trying to kill looks odd enough but he acted so gentleman like make this felt like something bad's gonna happen.

"What are you planning, Dizzy?" Mattrex asked suspiciously.

"Oh, you know. Maybe a beatdown that you can't react." Dizzy answer calmly then fierce as Mattrex realize what the Bat's talking about.

"Oh no, you don't." Mattrex says as he charges in to stop what's about to happen next.

"Too late, Dark hold." Dizzy says as he cast an entire darkness around where's he standing, frozen Mattrex in place as the Dinosaur was stand still ưith hí left legs up bat smirks "Now, let's get to work."

Dizzy starts with a drop kick to the frozen Mattrex before peforming kicks after kicks before biting on the Dinosaur's neck, healing hímelf a bit as he punch the face, punch all over his body and peform an ax kick on Mattrex's head as Dizzy stands a few distance to the Dinosaur's face before the darkness dissapear. When it happens, Mattrex felt the pain that Dizzy felt as he flinched from kicks to kicks, moan a bit at the bite before felt the fist and being knocked to the ground by the Ax kick.

"i suggest you should stay down as i go and kill your boss and that girl, sqeek." Dizzy says sadistically as he flies over to where Vulturon and Dizzy is as Mattrex slowly stands back up. He was grateful for his boss giving him a second chance to redeem himself so he isn't gonna dissapoint him at the slightest.

"No way I let it happen, Dizzy." Mattrex says furiously as he looks over at something and think about it for a moment. Meanwhile, Vulturon and Rin are able to hold off Arakune as he was ịnured a lot while the two was fine for some part.

"Y_ t_ _e mo_ _erful t_n _ lo_ _ke." Arakune says, breathing in and out from the pain he recived.

"We may look like pushovers but we aren't one ourselves ." Vulturon says.

"What did he say?" Rin asked, confusing at what the Vulture's talking about.

"He said earlier "You two are more powerful than you Look like."" Vulturon answer, which suprise Arakune.

"Y_ un_nd m_?" Arakune asked.

"Yes, i can Arakune." Vulturon answer.

"I_ t_ _e ca_ th_ I n_d t_ _t _is o: w_ _e be_ wa_." Arakune says.

"Being watched? By the gods?" Vulturon asked, confused.

"N, _Y _e out_ _ce." Arakune answer.

"What is he saying?" Rin asked.

"He just said..." Vulturon was about to answer until he hear flapping wings behind him as he turns to see Dizzy flies towards them. Notice the sudden lack of talk, Rin turns to see Dizzy as well.

"Now i take care of that guy, i guess this is vhere the fun truly begins." Dizzy says as he make soundwaves at Rin and Vulturon as both dodge them as Arakune just standing there, not sure what to do. While he did come here to get revenge on Vulturon, he ain't sure about it now.

'Knowing Mattrex, he would eventually come back here so we need to hold Dizzy out while we can."' Vulturon thought as Rin throws a fire gem to Dizzy, stun him a bit as Vukturon use this opportunity to smash the bat up with his guitar before slam it down to the Bat once in range.

"What did you to Mattrex?" Rin asked with a hint of worry.

"Oh, he's still breathing. Not sure if he will come back here the time that i'm finish with you two." Dizzy answer as he summon bats after the duo as Vulturon smash some of them while Rin blast them away with her magic as Dizzy use this opportunity to kick Vulturon in the back when he isn't looking, follow up by a punch to the stomach and grabs the Psuderoid up to throw him into Rin, the two collapse to one another and fall to the ground as Dizzy flies to them, grabing Rin's face and stomping her and Vulturon down.

"I wonder, what does a human blood tatse like. Only one way to find out sqeek." Dizzy says as he brings his fangs to Rin's neck to bite it but before he could do that, the bat was being hit by a blunt object which sent him flying as Vulturon and Rin open their eyes to see Mattrex there with one hand a hammer made of a stick and stone with the other lending out for the two.

"Glad you here, Matt." Rin says hapily at Mattrex's pressence and the fact that she wasn't been bitted on as she took his hand and stand back up.

"No problem." Mattrex says as he help his boss next.

"Where did you get that hammer?" Vulturon asked once he stands back up from the Dinosaur's help.

"I made it before coming here." Mattrex answer as he thought back of how he makes the weapon. He was looking at a long stick, a stone that shaped like a hammer and some vines as he puts his brain to use and create the hammer from them before coming to aid them. The trio hear flapping sounds as they turn to see Dizzy flies back at them, an angry look at his face.

"Why don't you stay down, Mattrex?" Dizzy asked angrily.

"Beacuse i ain't going down without a fight that easily." Mattrex answer with a small smirk as Dizzy stares angrily at the Dinosaur Maverick before turn to Arakune.

"You, do something about this *Sqeek*." Dizzy demands angrily at Arakune.

"I_ n_ _re, _t." Arakune answer, still unsure of what to do.

"Do you vant me to take Litchi to the same path for you or not?" Dizzy asked, using the one thing that Arakune cares as it effects on the Seither blob.

"Y_ d_e, d_ _U?" Arakune asked.

"Oh, i would." Dizzy answer as Arakune accepts and lunge at the trio to deal damage them while the bat follows right after. Mattrex counters by swing his hammer to Arakune before Vulturon slams him back and Rin fires a light beam to Dizzy, hurting him immensly due to light being his weakness.

"Ugh, of all the weapons that she could use, why did she have that?" Dizzy asked himself angrily as he charges back in with a kick as Rin dodge that and use the opportunity to fires a stronger light beam to the bat, which damages him much more than before while Mattrex briefly dodge a claw from Arakune before slam him back with the Dinosaur's hammer.

"Give up, there's no chance you two will beat us." Vulturon says roughly as he parry Arakune's claw before slam him back.

"Not if i use this abillity." Dizzy answer as he flies back up to avoid Rin's close range attack and about to use Dark hold once again.

"Not this time, Dizzy." Mattrex says angrily as he stops the Dark Hold by throwing his hammer to Dizzy and lands it narrowly, the bat and hammer falling down as Rin times right to punch him in the stomach before she did what she done to Fenri as Dizzy was slamed to a tree. Vulturon able to block one of Arakune's attack before counters back as Mattrex breathes fire to the blob and put his arms together to slam them into Arakune.

"Let's finish this one and for all." Mattrex says as he grabs Arakune and spun several times before throws him to Dizzy as the trio blast them with Rin being the light beam, Mattrex his flames, and Vulturon strums his guitar roughly that it cause a strong rift to them as Dizzy and Arakune were hit by them. Once the dust were cleared, Dizzy and Arakune were seen to still conscious but injure badly.

"Ughh, i can't keep up at this or the Imperator will be dissapoint at me. At this rate, i should retreat while possible." Dizzy says to himself painfully before look at Vulturon, Mattrex and Rin angrily "I'll let you all off for once but don't expect such things next time."

"We'll be perpare when it happen." Vulturon says determainlly as Mattrex and Rin nods at this as well.

"We shall see." Dizzy says as he dissaper, leaving Arakune alone.

"You care much about Litchi, don't you?" Vulturon asked, remember the threat that Dizzy told him.

"Y, i _re f_ _r a l_." Arakune answer.

"Well, i should let you know that i was the person to convince her from refuse the offer to the NOL." Vulturon says, which shock Mattrex a bit.

"You two know her or something?" Rin asked, confuse by the exchange.

"Yeah, boss met her while she's treating Ragna's wound and i first met her when boss called me to help her." Mattrex answer.

"i see." Rin says, understand the issue.

"I_ _ts t_ _se, i t_ _u f_ i_." Arakune says grateful as he slid back to Ikaruga.

"No problem." Vulturon says as he waves to the blob before turns To the two "Alright, shall we keep going?"

"Yes, Boss/Vulturon." Mattrex and Rin answer as the trio continue their way but not before Mattrex grabs the hammer.

"So Dizzy is a resident from your world, huh?" Rin asked, notice the bat's replotice parts as well but didn't ask.

"Yes he is, and he's still the same as ever." Mattrex answer gruntly as Vulturon looks at him odd. Mattrex was a calm person with a side of anger but rarely shows it for the longest time that he works with the Vulture Psuderoid so for him to act so aggresively felt so odd for the Psuderoid.

"You have met Dizzy some point, huh?" Vulturon asked.

"Yeah, he visit my workshop some time after I created it and he's been pissing me off to no end." Mattrex answer.

"What did he do?" Vulturon asked.

"He mess around with the weapons that I create, cause ance to the rare customers that I get and worst of all; taunt about my failure as a Repliforce member." Mattrex answer angrily.

"That reminds me, you never tell me about your position on the Repliforce, Mattrex." Vulturon says. When the vulture met Mattrex, the latter only tell him about his past and willing to redeem himself. Nothing else and nothing less.

"I worked for the disaster prevention team." Mattrex answer, which gives Vulturon a thought of what Dizzy taunts.

"So he taunts about your role in the Great Repliforce War, huh?" Vulturon asked, which the Dinosaur nods at it as Rin looked at the two confusingly.

"The Great Repliforce War, what is it?" Rin asked, curious on her voice.

"The great Repliforce War is a war that cause thousand of deaths and the eventual downfall of the Repliforce." Mattrex answer bitterly.

"Oh god, what caused it?" Rin asked, horrified a bit.

"An incident revolves around the fall off Sky Lagoon, A floating city made of technology." Mattrex answer.

"What cause such a thing?" Rin asked. While she's interest on the flying city part, she's more curious on the war instead.

"Mavericks attack the city, create destruction and worst of all: destroy the the city's power source." Mattrex answer, frustration on his voice.

"Who destroy it?" Vulturon asked curiously.

"A traitor of the Repliforce, one that you might know of, boss." Mattrex answer cryptically, which make Vulturon to think about it for a moment. If it's someone he knows, that would mean one of the person work for the Repliforce that he tried make a deal with but not sure which one or if that person declines or accept the deal.

"Why would that person betray you guys in the first place?" Rin asked shockingly.

"That person wants something and when he was asked to work with someone and betray the Repliforce in exchange for that, he took the offer immediately." Mattrex answer.

"Let me guess: The corrupter is Sigma, right?" Vulturon asked.

"Yes, he s that person to betray the Repliforce and start the war in the first place." Mattrex answer, less angry than before.

"Figures the person that caused the Maverick wars would be behind this scene as well." Vulturon shrugs. While he's able to know about the Maverick wars, he didn't know the full extent of it so he wouldn't guess the person start two wars wouldn't be the same person. The Vulture did have a thought but he es it due to lack of research of it.

"The Maverick Wars?" Rin asked, confused. They were talking about the Repliforce War then suddenly change the topic to a different war.

"Oh, that's right. You didn't know." Vulturon says, forgot about the Magi's pressence for a moment "So, The Maverick War starts when Sigma declare war against the world and start

"What caused him to do such a thing?" Rin asked.

"Sigma was infected by the Maverick virus during his mission that revolves around Zero, one of the legendary heroes." Vulturon answer.

"Wait, Zero was a Maverick?" Mattrex asked shockingly. One of the legendary hero form his world was a maverick surprise the Dinosaur as Vulturon nods.

"It turns out, he was create with the original Maverick Virus inside his body. Which would later be passed to Sigma after his defeat." Vulturon answer.

"I think I know where this is going." Rin says, understand what happens next.

"Yeah, it's a good thing though that Sigma was eventually stopped years later by some powerful forces that the other legendary hero, X would use to destroy him once and for all." Vulturon says.

"That's good." Rin says.

"Yeah, too bad though that I didn't get to see it." Mattrex says sadly. He would die due to not wanting to die meaninglessly to the virus or the world gone rot so he fights X and Zero for that reason. That, and the fact that he didn't trust them at the slightest that they aren't here for him due to his connection with the Repliforce.

"Anyways, Shall we get back to the topic?" Vulturon asked, with Mattrex nods.

"After the down fall of Sky Lagoon, The Colonel and my division arrive there with the Colonel tried to find his sister while we were investigate the area to see what happen and what caused the incident. During my time investigate, I saw the Colonel with Zero and that's when I know, a war will happen." Mattrex answer, recall he was at a broken building when he saw Zero and Colonel.

"What happen?" Rin asked.

"Zero tells Colonel his sister is safe with him with the latter grateful. After that, Zero question his presence which is understandable to say the least." Mattrex says, understood the reason. If a disaster happen and someone shows up out of nowhere, that person along with their group will be suspected "Zero ask Colonel to go with him and cooperate but the later refuse, even say that he doesn't even care if he and the Repliforce were branded Maverick and would prerfer war over dishonor and shame."

"Why couldn't the Colonel just accept the shame and cooperate with the Hunters?" Rin asked.

"He doesn't have compassion like his sister does and thus, doesn't know how to reason peacefully." Mattrex answer, knows where Colonel and Iris's condition "After that, the General decides to declare independence and thus, starts The Great Repliforce war."

"So Dizzy berate you for unable to stop the fall of Sky Lagoon and by extension, The Replifoce's demise?" Vulturon asked.

"Yeah, that's also the reason why I want to redeem myself." Mattrex answer bitterly.

"So did you ever try to talk to Colonel about what you heard?" Rin asked.

"I try, but before I could get close, I was sent away to where my workshop is to hide there." Mattrex answer.

"Did you try to talk him while you're in the Pseudo Space?" Vulturon asked.

"Yes I did. After I said my part done, he told me that he was surprise that someone knows the cause of the war and gave me an advice: never let pride control you and fight to the end." Mattrex answer.

"That's a good advice." Vulturon says.

"Yeah, I may work with you boss but that doesn't mean I don't listen to anyone else." Mattrex says.

"That's a good thing." Rin says as she understood that a lot of pride can be bad as much as it can be good.

"Yeah so if you have something to say to me, I'll listen and think carefully." Mattrex answer as the trio continue their walk to Yakibo when they met an odd character walking by. The person's face wasn't shown as they wear a black hoodie and pants which covers everywhere except for their feet and face, which was wolf like.

"Oh hello there, fancy seeing you three here." The person says with a male voice, which could possibly mean this person is a dude.

"Uh, hello there sir." Vulturon says, unsure of the person's appearance as it looks like something to Death but he sounds kind, not to mention his eyes are bright red thus putting him uncomfortable "What brings you out here walking?"

"Oh, I was just travelling around." The person says "Now, can I ask you of something?"

"Sure, what is it?" Vulturon asked, unsure of what to expect next.

"What do you think about Death?" The person asked.

"Are ya a big fan of Death or something to ask me such a question?" Vulturon asked.

"You could say that." The Person answer as Vulturon thought about it for a moment before answer.

"Do we have to answer it as well?" Mattrex asked.

"If you want to, you could." The person answers.

"I'll pass." Rin says as the thought of Death makes her think about her sister, which makes the Magi sad as she press her tears and emotion.

"Death to me is a scary feeling as it can be quite sudden for one moment you live and the other, you die. Not to mention, in most mythologies Death can be describe as evil or a bad omen to people." Vulturon answer "But Death is a necessary thing to have in life as without it, people would never have n what the feeling of lost of loved ones in the first place and life would be meaningless without it. Also, death is part of an endless cycle so you couldn't remove it even if you want to. As such, Death is a terrifying moment but also a beautiful one as well and so is life if we at it."

"hmm…" The Person says, take in account of everything he just heard "That's an interesting take on your perspective of Death, I'll be sure to keep that in mind."

"Okay." Vulturon says, weird by the Person's behavior as a rustle can be heard and Mattrex hear it so he turns to see a Seithr beast jumps out of the bushes and charge at them.

"Look out!" Mattrex shouts as he grabs the hammer and slam it on the beast, end its life as the body was crushed and some substance flew to the Dinosaur's face.

"It's a good thing you stop it, otherwise you might have died." The Person says.

"I could have." Mattrex says, agree on the Person's word as he wipe the substance out of his face.

"Anyways, we shall keep going so see you later." Rin says.

"That's fine, I'll may meet you guys later so take care while you can." The person says as he walks away, with everyone look at him odd.

"He's an interesting person, to say the least." Vulturon says, which Mattrex nods.

"Anyways, shall we keep going?" Rin asked, which the two Reploids nod as the trio continue to walk to Yakibo of Ikaruga, unaware of the cloaked person looks at them, standing next to the body as he grabs something white out of the Seithr beast's corpse.

"One down, two more to go." The person says as he send the white thing away before walking back.

At a district of Yakibo, Litchi was breathing heavy as she just recently escape from Bullet.

"Seems like I lost her. Ugh, I don't have time for this. Who was she, anyway?" Litchi says as she thought about the Mercenary for a bit 'She was looking for ProffesorProfessor Kokonoe? No, there is something else about her.'

"The plan to retriveretrieve the phenomena weapons… Professor Kokonoe was involved?" Litchi asked herself, remember what Bullet told her a while ago "If I remember correctly, it alllall began with the Ikaruga civil war. And "Kushinada's Lynchpin." I heard that Professor Relius had come up with the plan. But, why does Professor Kokonoe's name come up too?"

"What do they know about the incident?" Litchi asked herself with her eyes closed but opens them back up immideatlyimmediately "Whatever the case, I need to warn Kokonoe… But, where Is she?"

"*sigh* Well if isn't the prodigal apprentice, shall I bring you my rope and slaughter a call if you honor?" Kokonoe asked frustratingly.

"I'm sorry but i… I think I know how to turn him back." Litchi answer.

"What…?" Kokonoe asks, confused of t Litchi's talking about.

"The odds are slim, but the probability isn't zero either." Litchi says, making Kokonoe realize what Litchi's talking about.

"… So, You're asking me to aid you so we can observe him?" Kokonoe asked, which causes Litchi to gasp.

"Professor? Did you know…" Litchi asked shockingly, wonder how Kokonoe knows about Arakune as she just nods at the question as Litchi continues, a determain look on her face "I need to be a complete Observer… I absolutely must! Please Professor, please… I'm begging you…"

"So that's why Relius wants me to do such a thing, quite intteresting." An evil voice says as multiple spikes pops out of the ground as Makoto, Tager and Litchi able to dodge them brieftly to see Prometheus standing there, a grin on his face.

"I'm Prometheus, and i'm a member of the NOL. I'm here to take that woman away." Prometheus answer, pointing his scythe to Litchi, who was affaird.

"Why do you want her in the first place, you sicko?" Makoto asked furiously.

"Relius orders me to do so and i gotta say, he and the cat girl's former connection is quite intteresting." Prometheus answer, which cause everyone to wide eyes.

"How much did you hear?" Kokonoe asked shockingly.

"Oh, just about everything consider i've been follow her here." Prometheus answer, pointing at Makoto, who was shocked.

"You didn't check you were being watched, Makoto?" Kokonoe asked.

"No, i didn't. He must have seen me while i'm not looking." Makoto answer.

"And you are right on that money, Squirrel." Prometheus says as he spin his scythe before put it forward "Now, are we going to do this the easy way or the hard way?"

"I have say no to joining the NOL prior to this and i'm sticking my answer to it so no." Litchi answer, summon out her weapon.

"You better be perpare for this beatdown you're gonna recive." Makoto says as she grabs her tonfas and prepare for battle as Tager takes stance as well.

"We shall see." Prometheus says, eager for a fight.

"Tager, be careful." Kokonoe says with concern as Tager nods at this.

Prometheus starts first by summoning skulls with flames and fires them at the trio, which they smash through them as the Megaman Reaper use this opportunity to launch a slash to them, damage them immensely.

"Ow, that's hurt like hell." Makoto says painfully, while Tager and Litchi try to endure it.

"Then you three should give up while you can." Prometheus says.

"Not gonna happen in your life." Tager says as he slam his fist to the ground and produce electricity, damage and stun Prometheus as Makoto and Litchi took the chance to beat Prometheus up as The Beastkin unleash a punch to the Mega man's face as she continue to the assault until she uppercuts him up, Litchi jumps as she smacks him with her staff as she tries to slam him down but Prometheus able to counter it with his scythe before break it and slam it to her instead, damage her slightly.

"Why do you even work with the NOL in the first place?" Makoto asked as she attempts to punch Prometheus but the Mega man Reaper able to dodge it and retaliate with a slash from his scythe.

"We had a deal, one that relvoves around a group of Beastkin." Prometheus answer. He knows through knowledge that he learned from this world about the group and Buckfire and his brothers been refer as such so he decide to play along for now.

"Are those group happen to involve my family?" Makoto asked furiously.

"No, it doesn't." Prometheus answer as he attempts to slash at Makoto but the Beastkin able to jump up and dodge the attack as Tager use the opportunity to grab him and put the Mega Man onto his wraist.

"Whoever those group are, we will stop you from your mission." Tager says as he jumps up high and slam Prometheus down, damage him significantly.

"Oww, why I outta." Prometheus says angrily as he stands back up, summon twirling, fire pillars and push them to Makoto, Tager and Litchi as they able to briefly dodge them before rushing towards the Mega man, unaware of the fact that the pillars make a stop before turns back and goes back to them. As the trio rushed to the Megaman reaper, Litchi felt something odd about Prometheus's smirk so she turns back to see the pillars rush to them back.

"Look out!" Litchi screams as Makoto and Tager turns to see the pillars as The trio able to dodge in time as Prometheus's smirk turns into a growl as the pillars pass him by as he jumps up to them and slash down with his scythe.

"zIncoming." Tager says as he, Makoto and Litchi able to dogde the down slash bit didn't see the fire that comes with it and been burned by them as result.

"It burns!" Makoto screams as the flames hit on her tail as she able to blow them out but leave a burn mark on the Beastkin's tail as she runs to Prometheus, scream angrily "You're gonna get it."

"We shall see about it, Squirrel." Prometheus says as he charges in as he slash once at range but Makoto dodge it by duplicate and the slash only hit on the clones as the Beastkin did a Meteor Dive to the Mega Man and punch him multiple times before spin her tonfas and doing an uppercut, launching him up as Makoto tries to jump and attack more but Prometheus able to block the Beastkin's assault before he decides to kick Makoto and knock her down with his scythe, knock the Beastkin to the ground and follow up with another slash down but Litchi throws her staff, which caught Prometheus off guard as he gets hit by it and falling down unguard as Tager use the opportunity to grab the Mega Man while falling and slam him down. The Red Devil then magnetize Prometheus while still holding him and picks him up once again but the Mega man decides to launch an attack to Tager as the Mega Man jumps out of the Devil's hand but was been pulled back by the magnetize as Tager uses this chance to grab Prometheus once again and did a slam to the ground to him, damage Prometheus intensely as he stands up painfully and the trio were prepare for what happens next.

"Damn it, at this rate I'm gonna die so I should fall back as soon as possible." Prometheus says quietly as he stares at the trio "You guys are quite powerful and since I'm already damaged beforehand, I'm gonna leave you guys now."

"Are you serious?" Makoto asked.

"Yes, so be grateful that I spare you because next time, I'm gonna make sure you three regret fighting me." Prometheus says as he s away, leaving Makoto, Litchi and Tager sigh in relief.

"Thank god, it's over." Makoto says.

"I gotta wonder, who are the group that Prometheus looking for?" Litchi asked.

"Whoever they are, I think we may meet them sooner or later." Tager answer, unaware of the fact that the group that Prometheus looking for is the Psuderoid siblings.

"Good job at taking care of that guy." Kokonoe says.

"No problem, Professor." Makoto says.

"Now walk back to the base, we'll be talking later." Kokonoe says as she s off the call.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Litchi asked as Makoto and Tager nods as they go to Kokonoe's location, hoping to find Arakune's cure soon.

While with Kokonoe, as soon as he ends the call the door open, reveal Kagura stands there as Kokonoe looks at him.

"Took ya long enough, what kept you came late?" Kokonoe asked, pulling a lollipop out of her mouth.

"I was busy with a few things." Kagura answer simply with his smile as he puts a serious look on his face "Now, there's something I should tell you."

"Okay, I'm listening." Kokonoe says, interest on what the Colonel of NOL has to say.

'Now I thought about it, what is Father Albert doing right now?' Bifrost thought. Knowing his father, he would try and find a way to reborn in their homeworld and continue where he left off...

"Indeed it is, Hakumen." Bifrost says.

"What makes a Crocodile wander around the forest?" Hakumen asked.

"I just got out of Snow town after taking care of stuff that happen there." Bifrost answer as Hakumen thought about something.

"If I recall rectly, you were shocked about Tsubaki's ance after the rakumo incident." Hakumen says, which create tense around the Psuderoid.

"What makes you thought of such thing?" Bifrost asked.

"Among the voice that screams in surprise of such event, myself included, I think I heard some rough voice say Tsubaki as well and since you speak something similar, I think it's only fair that I think that you and her meet at some point, did you?" Hakumen says, looking straight at the Pseuderoid as the latter thought for a moment.

"Yeah, I meet her sometime before I go and kick Jin's ass." Bifrost answer.

"Why did you want to beat the Hero?" Hakumen asked.

"Let's just say, she became something I felt quite sad and makes me wanna to beat Jin up." Bifrost answer.

"What was she like during that time?" Hakumen asked concernly.

"She was in lost thoughts and sadness as she thought her friends have left her alone. In fact, she was even trying to kill herself before I interfere." Bifrost answer.

"Jin's action left a strong painful emotion to her, right?" Hakumen asked angrily, which Bifrost nod.

"So he decides to travel to learn more about the , am i right?" Hakumen asked with Bifrost nods.

"From what i remember, Jin went to the Cauldron in Snow city and find something that leads him to ask me of what i just said." Bifrost answer.

"Well then, i should better be going as i have other things to do." Hakumen says as he turn his back and attempt to walk away, hear what he need to know.

"Continue your research in the Izayoi, aren't you?" Bifrost asked.

"You sure done your research quite well and yes, i'm going to try and learn more about the Izayoi." Hakumen answer, impress that Bifrost knows such a thing.

"Yes, not only that, it's based on Dr Weil, a guy who would starts war for his selfish reasons." Bifrost answer.

"I take it though that Model W would be create after Weil's demise." Hakumen says, knowing where this is going.

"Yeah beacuse after his death, the Biometal was created from pieces of him and a fragment of Ragnarok, a statellite canon create for destroying Area Zero, a peaceful place where everyone went there for escaping Weil's force." Bifrost answer.

"If your souls reside into Model W, that would mean that when Albert's been defeated, the Piece that contains you and your siblings also destroyed as well, right?" Hakumen asked.

"Yes and after that, me and the others decide to talk to Albert once we were in Pseudo-space but he snaps at us, calling us worthless and tools, which shatter most of our trust onto him." Bifrost answer.

"Yes, me and the others decide to leave Albert and never bother talking to him ever since." Bifrost answer.

"Wait, are you telling me that the Black Beast is the result of a combine Ragna and Nu?" Bifrost asked shockingly.

"Yes, it was a result of the two fuse together." Hakumen answer.

"Is there a reason behind this?" Bifrost asked.

"No one knows but if I have to guess, it have something to involve with the Azure Grimoire that my alternate brother have and the Murakumo." Hakumen answer.

"Is this the reason that you try and kill Ragna in the first place?" Bifrost asked, recall how the Hero spare Ragna's life due to being injured.

"Yes and as much as I hate it, I have no other choice but to kill him in case of the Black Beast returns." Hakumen answer with sorrow in his voice.

"You don't have to do it, you know?" Bifrost says. The idea of losing a sibling is one thing but the idea of killing that sibling is a whole new level.

"Hmm, it sure looks as bad as the Snow Town." Hibiki says as he and Jin were at the Cauldron in Akitsu-Otsu, looking around for any detail. As Bifrost said, the city was covered with sand, rock and buildings that survived the condition, making a few people ever live there.

"Huh? A close locker, wonder what's in here?" Jin asked himself as he froze the locker and cut it off with Yukinesha as he looks into it to see a documentary there as Jin grabs the files and start to see what he could find.

"Did you find anything, Major Kisaragi?" Hibiki asked, walking to where Jin stands.

"Yeah, this file that details around the Cauldron." Jin answer as he continue to look through the files to see what he could learn as he look over to a detail that caught him interesting.

"What did you see, Major Kisaragi?" Hibiki ask.

"According to this file, the Cauldron was made with intense sethir and the fact that they can be consider as living beings." Jin answer.

"Living beings, is there a way to kill them?" Hibiki asked.

"There is, anyone that can wield a piece of Azure can kill the Cauldron." Jin answer.

"So mister Ragna really able to kill the Cauldron." Hibiki says "Does the Power of Order can do anything to the Cauldron."

"It says here that Order can't kill them, but destroy them instead." Jin answer as he thought to himself 'So what Relius says is true, the Cauldron are living beings.'

"The Imperator's coming?" Kagura asked.

"Yup, there's no doubt of it. The problem all comes down to timing." Kokonoe answer.

"Timing, huh?" Kagura says, keep that word in mind "Oh, by the way, Tsubaki with him."

"I guess they're not leaving anything to change. I have a rough idea on what they're going to do… but I don't know what means they will be using." Kokonoe says.

"What means? Without knowing that, we'll always be playing catch up, that's for sure." Kagura asked.

"But if Izayoi's here, too... that can complicate things slightly." Kokonoe answer.

"Why's that?" Kagura asked, confused why the Izayoi consider a problem for Kokonoe.

"Izayoi can draw in the electromagnetic spectrum, which renders my observational devices meaningless." Kokonoe answer.

"Should we take care of Tsubaki?" Kagura asked.

"No, that's unwise. We'll need Izayoi around later on." Kokonoe answer.

Not only that, but Noel is an important part as well so her being damage, if not killed is an issue.

"Yeah. That thing would be able to kill her." Kokonoe says.

"The Imperator's put out an order for Noel's capture... Tsubaki would dèinitely come for her." Kagura says, knowing full well what Tsubaki do at this state.

"Hm... that's why i've made it so she's somewhere i can keep tabs. We can't afford to lose Noel by letting her come into contact with Tsubaki." Kokonoe says.

"Well, things should be fine for now. Noel's right here anyway." Kagura says.

"Tch, I should've suspected as much from a former spy. How long have you been listening?" Kokonoe asked. When Makoto just looks at her, Kokonoe understand how long she listen as she sighs "We may as well have told Noel ourselves."

"I guess there's no helping it." Kagura says, understand Makoto's emotions "Listen, Makoto. Leave Tsubaki to me. Just forget what you overheard here , and of course, don't tell Noel anything."

"Why?!" Makoto asked shockingly.

"Uh, beacuse the two of you are rebels now?" Kagura says, pointing out the obvious reason "If Tsubaki finds you, she will kill you. Do you understand that?"

"I understand how you feel. There are friends on the other side. But you have to understand: you have a reponsibility for your actions." Kokonoe comforot Makoto.

"To the lives of Kagura and all the other people who are sheltering you." Kokonoe answer as Makoto suddenly realize what the Proffesor saying "Selfishly acting of your own accord will put those around you in danger. you, who spent time at the Intelligence Department, should understand what that means... You do, don't you?" Kokonoe says.

"Yes." Makoto answer as she thought about something "Maybe what Buckfire says is true: you gotta know when to do or not do something that could cost you everything and everyone."

"Makoto, please trust me." Kagura says.

"I... I do trust you..." Makoto says.

"Don't worry, Tsubaki will make it home safetly. I won't let anyone do anything that will put her at risk. And you know that's a big deal, coming from me." Kagura says assuringly and seriously as he wink his eyes and smile "So just stay put and calm down. Listen to me."

"Okay…" Makoto says.

"Good girl. When you get back to Noel, just relax and keep her safe. Got it?" Kagura says.

"Yeah… I'll… see you later." Makoto says as she walks to the door and about to exit the room.

"Wait, where's Tager and Litchi?" Kokonoe asked.

"They're on their way here, they just have to take care of something." Makoto answer as she exits the room, leaving Kokonoe and Kagura as the former turned to the later.

"Presumably I should detain Noel Vermillion in the same manner?" Tager asked.

"Whie l don't know what happen to Makoto, putting her on a cell with Noel is a bit too harsh." Litchi says.

"I know she understands. She understands that you providing them with a hiding place is putting us at risk." Kokonoe says snakingly "So by leaving their hiding place they're trying to protect us."

"That's why we have to detain them, you fool. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Best to keep the strain of it." You could see in Makoto's expression that she'd made up her mind. Couldn't you tell? If not, you can at least know from phrasing the word that she just said from a friend of hers."

"Then let's go! We're only a burden for everyone here, so let's slip out and search for her together!" Makoto says.

"Anything to save our best friend!" Noel says as the two are about to leave but Tager appear beind them.

"It's turning out exactly as predicted." Tager sighs "Sorry, you two, but I need to take you into custody."

"He didn't but one of his brothers give to me in case that I need to call him, which is now." Tager answer as the screen beeps for a few seconds it was been answered, showing Buckfire standing next to a forest.

"Tager, did my brother give it to you or something?" Buckfire asked.

"He did, the reason I'm calling you though is because of your two friends about to leave and find the other one." Tager answer.

"They were going to do WHAT?" Buckfire asked shockingly.

"They're right here." Tager says as he puts the phone for Buckfire to see Noel and Makoto.

"What were you two thinking when you two decide to leave?" Buckfire asked.

"We were going to find Tsubaki and try to talk things out with her." Makoto answer.

"I understand why but did it ever occur to you two that Tsubaki might attack when you two meet her?" Buckfire asked, understand the reason.

"Tsubaki would never do such a thing." Noel says.

"Noel, you are one of the kindest person I have ever met but to remind you: Tsubaki is willing to attack you back in Kagutsuchi so the chance of that happening is almost a guarantee, not to mention the bounty that you got making a chance where trying to find her is basically impossible." Buckfire says, looking down to hide his blush at compliment Noel. It was one of the reasons that he like her in the first place.

"Buckfire, you know that Tsubaki helps me the most as I wouldn't be here if it weren't for her so I want to help her for once." Noel says.

"Not to mention, me and Nollers are basically a burden for everyone at the NOL headquarters so we might do this." Makoto added.

"Look, I understand your reasons but that doesn't mean that you two have to do this, we'll save Tsubaki later, just not now and both of you aren't burdens." Buckfire says, assuring his two friends as he realizes something "Wait Tager, you guys are at the NOL headquarters! How did you three get to stay there?"

"Turns out Kagura and Kokonoe have history as he allow us to stay there." Tager answer.

"That's good." Buckfire says in relief before turns his focus to his friends "Look, I know that Tsubaki is quite important to us but you two need to keep yourselves safe."

"Please Buckfire, give us a chance and we'll try." Noel pleads to her male friend as Buckfire thought about it for a moment.

"Do you think that I should contain both of them or not, Mr. Gazelle?" Tager asked. He wants to do it but he isn't sure about Noel and Makoto.

"Let them off this one time, Tager but if they try to do this again then you can contain them." Buckfire answer when he makes his mind.

"Really, Buckfire?" Noel asks in relief.

"Yes, I give you a chance to try and talk to Tsubaki about this but be careful you two as you won't know what she'll try pull." Buckfire answer.

"We will, Buckfire." Makoto says as Tager turns off the phone and putting it back into his pocket.

"Just like he said, I'm going to let you both off once but I'll show you no mercy if this happens again. Understood?" Tager says.

"Thank you, Tager." Noel says happily.

"Just get out of here." Tager says.

"Let's go, Noel." Makoto says.

"Okay, Makoto." Noel says as Makoto and she leave, finding where their friend are at as Tager follows behind, knowing that His boss will tell him to find them.

"Copy." Tager answer as he closes the phone and continue his walk.

"Well, after all that, are you sure you're the right person to be chastising me?" Kagura asked.

"Quiet, you." Kokonoe answer.

"This isn't unexpected. I'll just plan to run into the on the way." Kagura says.

"Wait, so you plan this to happen?" Litchi asked.

"Yup, it's all in my plan." Kagura answer with a smile.

"You're going to Tsubaki…" Kokonoe says.

"If I do I'll probably bump into Noel or Makoto. I'll bring them in. that work for you?" Kagura says.

"I'm not here for your bounty, Ragna the Bloodedge. In fact, I could care less about it, I'm actually here for my curiosity and nothing else." The Person says as he reveals his arm, which was wolf-like as well and wave it off as Ragna and Tao look at him for a few seconds before calm themselves down.

"I guess you're right, Sorry for the Misunderstanding." Ragna says.

"It's alright, with how your life as the most wanted criminal, it's easy to understand that everyone's out to get you." The person says in understand.

"And for your question, it's not that I'm afraid of death it's just that I'm not comfortable talking about it." Ragna answer, not revealing his true reason at the slightest.

"If you say so." The Person says, doesn't believe the excuse but decide not to push it.

"Death is a natural being that should always consider as if you dismiss it, it will come to you and teach a lesson about life as you only get one chance to live. No matter how long you live or how good or bad you are, death will be inevitable as you can only accept it." Buckfire says "I know though that sometime later on, I'll die so I'll keep going and live until I die."

"Hmm…" The Person hums, thinking about what he just heard for a few seconds "That's an accurate way of viewing Death, I'll be keep that thought in mind."

"Okay…" Buckfire says awkwardly as a rustle can be heard from brushes and everyone turn to see a Seithr beast comes out and runs to them.

"Tao will stop it, Meow." Tao says as she brandished her claws and jumps to the beast, slashing it off to piece as the corpse falls down.

"Wow, I thought she's gonna be dead weight but I guess I was wrong." Buckfire says.

"She's a bounty hunter after all, so it makes sense she can fight back." Ragna says.

"Quite impressive." The Person says as Tao turns back.

"Can we go now? Tao's wanted to go, meow." Tao asked happily.

"Sure, we could." Buckfire answer as he turns to the Person "Sorry but the three of us are going now, so if you don't mind…"

"It's fine, I was about to leave so take care as I feel like we're going to meet again." The person says as he walks away, leaving the trio looks at him odd.

"See you later, Wolf guy." Tao says as she, Ragna and Buckfire continues their walk to Yakibo.

"That guy was interesting." Buckfire says.

"He may be a weirdo but he doesn't seem that bad." Ragna says.

"Tao agree with Good Guy, meow." Tao says in agreement as suddenly, rose twirls around and Rachel appears.

"Hello, Taokaka, Buckfire and Ragna." Rachel greets Them calmly.

"Hello Bunny girl! /Rachel. /Rabbit." Taokaka, Buckfire and Ragna greets her differently.

"You sure greet me kindly there, Ragna." Rachel snarks.

"Whatever. So, why are you here?" Ragna asked bluntly.

"I'm going to visit somewhere for a thought and that place you just happen to know so i want you to come with me, Ragna." Rachel answer.

"What would this place be, Rachel?" Ragna asked.

"Let me gie you a hint: We've met each other at this place alongside that Animal." Rachel answer Cryptical, which cause Ragna to think for a while as this felt like someplace he knows.

"You mean the burned church, correct?" Ragna asked once he realize where that place could be.

"That's correct." Rachel answer, which cause Buckfire to realize something.

"How dare you call my brother An Animal, Vampire?" Buckfire asked angrily.

"Such vulgar words coming for you." Rachel snarks.

"What else do you expect Dissing my brother like that?" Buckfire asked.

"I do admit, i was being harrsed towards your brother but from someone like him, it should be expected." Rachel answer.

"I've never seen you this angry before, Bucks." Ragna says, suprise about his Friend's sudden anger.

"Me and my brothers are the only members allive so we took care each other and become close." Buckfire says.

"Tao understood, meow." Tao says.

"I've seen where you getting that." Ragna says, recall how he, Jin and Saya were close until an event change them for worse.

"That reminds me, I never got a close look at the burn church so I want to go there as well." Buckfire says.

"Very well." Rachel says in understand as she turns to Tao "Tao, can you stand here for a while? These two will be going with me for a while."

"Sure thing, Bunny Lady." Tao says.

"Good, now you two get close to me." Rachel says as Buckfire and Ragna Walk to her and the three teleports out of there. While all of this happening, The Hooded Person was near the corpse that Tao create.

"Two down, one more to go." The Person says as he grabs a white thing from the corpse before the body dissolve and The Person sends that white thing away before continue his walk, looking for his final person to talk.

A/N: And that will be the end of the Chapter. I can't believe it took me this long to complete this chapter. Then again, there's so many scenes in this chapter that I should have seen this coming. Thank you Dragonoid x Shutomon for review and like my story, as for your thoughts, i did think about having Vent or Aile to go and fight the Brothers once they travel to the world but it has to involve with the Mega man Model A, one that i wonder who should reseprent since Grey and Ashe are consider differently. As For the next one, i think Fistleo would work for NOL for a chance to fight strong people, something that the Imperator would offer so I consider it.
