You…are awake…

Awake in this swirling abyss, you see… nothing.

A nothing that was loud as it was endless, taking you haplessly into the sea of darkened sky.

It makes you uneasy yet, you are not alone. You feel a hand touch your shoulder from behind. A voice soon followed, its accent sounding so foreign yet… so familiar to your ears.

"Ah… you've finally… connected."

The voice sounded so somber. You don't know why, but you lean into the figure's hands.

"Oh dear, you are uneasy. It is okay. I don't mind… not at all. I shall embrace you… for as long as I can. I know it was, sudden for you."

You can feel their hands wrapped around you. It fills you with a sense of ease, the warmth of their white coat keeping you dry from this loud cold sea of nothing.

Unfortunately… a sense of peace can never last. You feel the hands pull away from you, leaving you so, so very alone again. You wade through the sea back to them, but… you can never reach them.

"I apologize. The time for the simulation… is at hand." I say as I reach my hand out.

You see the hand and reach out for it.

But…

They ignore your call, and move through you and grab…

Your Very Soul.

"Unfortunately, although you will play a part… I will not be watching you." I move your soul into the darkness, it's shade making your eyes grow heavy.

"Just don't forget HE will be watching you in the dark..." I speak guiltily.

"So, thank you for your time. Your name…is…

"Izuku! Izuku sweetie wake up!"

Blinking wearily, Izuku Midoriya groggily awoke from a distant dream with a sleepy yawn. He brushed the bed head out of eyes to see his mother standing over him with a worried frown. She had her phone over his face showing him the time. That time being 8:00 A.M flashing on and off in bright yellow.

"Izuku, why didn't you set your alarm? If you don't get ready right away, you'll be late for school," she said, grabbing his arm to pull him out of his comforting bed.

Izuku waved her hand away and got out by himself. "Mom please I'm fine," he held his head as he gave another yawn, "But, do I really have to go to school again?" he muttered anxiously.

He felt himself being pulled into a hug that while startling him, he leaned into all the same. "I know you're scared," began his mother, resting her chin on his shoulder. "I've never been in a situation like that before and I can only dread how scared you were, or should I say, still are," she said wistfully, running her hand through his messy hair. "Just know things like this take more than a week to heal and I'm always here if you need to talk okay," she said, pulling away slightly while still holding onto his shoulders, her eyes beginning to get damp with tears.

"But, sniff, do me a favor and be like All Might okay. Be brave and keep moving forward while always trying your best," she said with another sniffle, not noticing her son's eyes darken for just a moment.

Izuku shook it off and gave his mother a warm smile. "Alright, I will. But, do you mind if I get dressed? I only have a little under an hour to get ready and with that the traffic any crossings or if my shoes get untied or if I trip into a sewer or maybe even-"

"Okay okay, take a breath please. I'll let you get dressed," laughed Inko at his rambly tangent. She made her way to his door before turning back with a reassuring smile. "I don't start my shift at the store until ten. So if you want, I can drop you off if that's okay with you. Wouldn't want you to get into any more villain trouble would we," she joked lightly.

Izuku giggled a bit back, giving his mother a big smile. "I don't know, it was pretty exciting," he joked back with a wink, "-and thanks Mom. I'll be out in a minute okay," he said as he opened his closet to pull out the hanger with his uniform.

"Okay sweetie, I'll be waiting on the couch. I'll do you a favor and set a timer just in case you decide to fall back asleep on me," she said with a wink back, closing the door behind her.

As the door closed, Izuku's smile fell into a neutral expression as he began to slowly get ready. "It still feels like a dream." thought Izuku as he removed his uniform from the hanger, "All Might, those heroes, the Sludge Villain…" he paused as he held his shirt over his head, "And Kachan. Even now, I still can't get over all the praise he and All Might got after he beat the villain. If only they knew what I knew, how if I didn't step in, All Might would've stayed there and done nothing for Kachan. Or if they knew what an overbearing bully Kachan really is, would they still praise him like the shining star he appeared to be."

"Not all men are created equal kid," played All Might's voice within his mind. He clenched his head, willing the thought to disappear. Those words have haunted him this whole last week, those words so unlike something the hero of peace would say. "Of course I know this world is all about having big and loud quirks, but did they really have to talk to me while praising the one who set buildings on fire? No Izuku, that's a bad thought, an awful thought," he shook his head, "Stop thinking about it, just stop, just-"

"Izuku! Your timer went off! I better see you out that door on the count of ten!" shouted his mother from the next room, snapping Izuku out of his downward spiral.

"Shoot! Sorry Mom got distracted!" panicked Izuku as he hurriedly finished up.

He quickly slapped on the rest of his clothes, quickly making his way to his door. Holding the doorknob, he prayed that today wouldn't be as bad as he thought it was going to be. He really didn't need it.

Chapter 1

Attach The Strings

.

.

.

The school day ended up being bad, but not in the way he thought it was. He was invisible. It was as if no one saw him.

From the moment he stepped foot into the school, where normally people would shoot nasty looks at him, insults and slurs, or come over to bully him, they instead all just ignored him. At first, it was a relief as he thought the school for once actually recognized the good he did last week. Yet, walking further, he realized why everyone was acting like this.

Before, he thought his school already treated Kachan like a celebrity, but now, celebrity was a definite understatement. Everyone in the school now saw him as if he were All Might himself! Because when he walked into the school building proper, he saw students loudly clogging the hallways, yelling at people passing by to buy from their tables, all of which were chock full of knockoff merch of Kachan. There were so many tables and people, that it left the path as thin and congested as a rock concert, having to push and shove just to get by. They had shirts, posters, plushies, and so much more. You name it they had it.

Speaking of posters, the walls were littered with new posters that were plastered with Kachan's mug on them, even being put over upcoming school events. He stepped over to the closest one, one that saw Kachan give off a menacing grin that read in all caps red, 'STUDY HARD! OR ELSE I'LL BLOW YOUR FACE OFF!'. It wasn't even catchy, just disturbingly blunt. Izuku guessed he must've made that one.

But clearly it was all working, as everyone was wearing at least some kind of merch with his face on it. As too many to count were wearing shirts and armbands as if it was the new standard uniform. It was all so much that it was making his head spin from just trying to wrap his head around it all.

Shaking those migraine inducing thoughts away, he struggled onward to push past everyone to get to his class, making it right at 8:45. He held his arm out to keep him from falling down as he loudly panted and wheezed. Lifting his head up, he scanned the room, and noticed that he was the last one there, as every seat was filled. Some of the desks were turned to face one another, the people in them huddled in their own cliques with Kachan's being the biggest. It was so crowded, that he was entirely unseen as people stood around his desk attempting to chat him up.

"Midoriya, you're late," interrupted his teacher, an older blond man with a jagged chin who did'nt bother looking up from his lesson plan.

Izuku held his hand to his chest, to calm his breathing. "B-but sir. I made it right on time," stumbled a shocked Izuku, glancing at the clock just to be sure he made it.

His teacher lowered his lesson plan to glare at him. "Oh right, you've been on leave for who knows how long. Listen here kid, we have new policies on tardiness. If you don't show up a minute before class starts you're tardy, no excuses no nothing got that. It's school wide as well, so don't think just because you were an idiot on the news means you can be an idiot in class as well. This is your last warning for skipping class before you get written up so start being responsible."

Izuku's eyes widened in disbelief. "But I've never even been late before. Don't I at least get another warning?"

His teacher raised a brow at him before brazenly sneering, "I don't need to repeat myself to you anymore, brat. Can't you be like our shining star over there and be a role model to your peers. I know quirkless people are slow but you better watch your tongue you quirkless bore or I'll send you right to detention for your defiance," scowled his teacher, as he lifted his lesson plan back up to end this conversation.

Izuku could feel his hands unconsciously balling into fists at the injustice, yet he swallowed his pride and gave a curt nod. To even get to his seat in the middle of the class, he had to push past the people talking to Kachan, too busy standing in the aisles to talk to their shining star, to pay him any mind.

After he sat down, the teacher told everyone to sit back down as class finally started. Only then did he get his first look at his bully since last week. He wasn't sure what he was expecting, but nothing was new about him. He was still the same spiky haired blond kid who bullied his way to the top and bullied him day in and day out for being an extra to his show. Though, Kachan did freeze as he turned around to see him, giving him a friendly death glare before rolling his eyes away so he could focus on class. At least somebody saw him without it being forced…

And then, like clockwork, the day went by like it always had. A normal day like nothing happened to the two of them. To Izuku, it felt a little too comforting to be back on a schedule after all that sulking he did at home. Something to keep him busy so as to not linger on those ugly thoughts. Everything was going to be-

"Hey Nerd!" yelled a familiar voice as he slammed his hand on Izuku's desk, snapping him out of his daydream. The bell was ringing above them, signaling the end of the school day as he looked up to see Katsuki glaring down at him with a toothy grin. "Meet me at the back of the school, we need to have a little chit-chat about last week," he down right ordered as he walked away, students flanking him as he exited the classroom.

Izuku sighed as he ran his hands through his hair. "What could he want now?" he grumbled, as he stood up to go to the inevitable conflict.

"Well what do we have here, you actually showed up Nerd!" laughed the blond along with the gang of nine others that flanked both his sides. On the opposite end was Izuku, standing alone, his back facing the school. He stood tall, but inside he still felt scared of the inevitable. "W-what do you want Kachan?"

"What do I want? What do I want!?" yelled Bakugo, letting a small explosion go off in his hand. "You know damn well what I want you stuttering prick!"

*Bakugo took a step forward.*

"Please… I don't know what you're talking about?" mumbled Izuku, feeling a bead of sweat roll down his face.

*Bakugo took another step forward.*

"Quit playing dumb with me Deku. You spent that whole week away from school, thinking you earned it because you were an idiot who flew too close to the damn sun! You've gotten cocky. I can see it in your big, weak eyes."

*Another step.*

"So me and a few other like minded people are going to do you a huuuuge favor."

*Then another*

"We're going to show you that your choices don't matter," chirped Kachan with fake cheerfulness, as he reached Izuku and put a tense hand on his shoulder. "So when I tell you right now to quit your silly dream of being a hero, I want you to agree, okay," asked Katsuki nicely as he put more pressure on his shoulder.

Izuku shuddered at what he said, trying to turn away from him only for his chin to be grabbed by Kachan's other hand so that he was forced to look into his piercing red eyes. Izuku felt his body shudder uncontrollably, feeling his nerves completely shot as he clenched his eyes shut.

Yet despite the fear that overwhelmed his body, his mind still remained stubborn. "Breath Izuku," he told himself, "Just lie, you can still get away with your skin not burnt to ash. Just say the right thing, the easy thing. Say you won't be a hero anymore," he repeated to himself over and over again.

Yet despite all reason telling him to lie to his bully, something still burned inside his chest. This burning feeling that he just couldn't describe. A burning feeling that wouldn't let him lie to himself any longer. He could feel that fire grab a hold of him, stopping his body from shaking.

This feeling… it was as if his very soul was filled with…!

"No…" he muttered softly, his eyes still squeezed tightly.

He felt the sting of pain as Kachan put even more pressure on his chin and shoulder. "W H A T," growled the blond slowly.

He opened his eyes to meet his, tears streaming down his face as his eyes were alight with this feeling. "Despite what All Might said, I still. I still…"

"I still want to be a hero Kachan! No matter what you say or do!" shouted Izuku, teeth clenched with, that's the word-!

DETERMINATION!

Now it was Kachans turn to be shocked, his mouth hanging open as he took a few steps back, momentarily letting go before furiously shaking that feeling away. "So you've made your choice huh," growled Kachan, his voice a low hum as he approached once again to stand over him. "If words won't work on you…" He gazed up, arms outstretched with a near murderous grin stretched out on his face.

"Then I'll have to make you by blowing your face clean off!"

In a split second, Izuku dove to the ground, barely dodging the explosive punch that boomed past where his face just was. His ears rang as he fell back first to the dirt covered ground, and just as quickly as he fell rolling out of the way of Kachan's foot stomping down on his ribs before then quickly scrambling back to his feet. Izuku didn't waste any time as he felt his adrenaline surge through him, taking off in a sprint around to the front end of the school. Behind him he could hear Kachan snarl in frustration at him, soon followed by the others who began to chase him also, hurling laughter and taunts all the while.

"We got a runner!"
"Wooooo!"
"Hahahaha!"
"Get him Bakugo!"
"Kill that quirkless dumbass!"

Izuku ran for life as the world began to pound around him. His heart pounded, his feet pounded, and the ones just behind him pounded furiously into the dirt to catch him. He pushed his fear to keep his arms pumping as he dashed to the front of the school, taking a sharp right as he ran along the packed sidewalk.

He ignored his body as he began to feel his muscles burn as he weaved and dodged through the confused adults to get more distance away from them. Thanks to his slightly smaller frame, each adult he passed he did so a little bit faster than the mass of shouting could. He could hear Kachan screeching out to him, "Deku! Get the fuck back here!" grow fainter and fainter.

But he couldn't keep this up forever, as his lungs burned and were begging for him to stop. His mind spun with desperate ideas. His house was too far away, nobody would let him hide inside their homes or shops, and they were still too close for him to get away on the subway. All Izuku could do was to keep forcing himself to run as his eyes kept darting around the city for some escape. All he could find was an alleyway to his right and he took his only chance as he sharply turned to sprint down it.

Unfortunately, it was just a dead end, with the tall brick laden wall barely extending into the next road. He panicked even more than before as he had no choice but to hide on the other end of a large dumpster. He ran behind it, making himself as small as he could, and prayed that they didn't see him run in here.

For once, his prayers were answered, as he heard the yelling and shouting get louder before getting softer and eventually, going quiet as the sounds of anger were overcome by the sounds of the city.

Izuku let out a long sigh of relief as he rested his head against the brick wall. "I, I can't believe I got away," smiled Izuku as he kept taking deep breaths in and out to soothe his aching muscles. He closed his eyes and kept catching his breath, enjoying the air despite being right next to a smelly garbage can.

*SLAM!*

The sudden slam shook Izuku awake, immediately pushing himself to the opposite end of the dumpster. The loud noise came from the heavy lid of the dumpster being violently swung wide open. Was someone, or worse, something living in there?!"

He watched in horror, as from the edge of the lid he saw a small metallic leg clamber its way up. But what he saw wasn't a monster, or another villain, it was simply a round pair of gold trimmed, pink and yellow tinted glasses that clawed out of the trash with four robotic spider legs. He looked both ways to see if anyone was making them move, yet nobody appeared, they just seemed to have a mind of their own. The bespeckled robot scanned the wall from left to right up until it looked right at Izuku. The center point of the lenses then shone like twinkling stars as it gave a tiny hop that made it look surprised.

"WOAH! NOOOO WAAAAY!" blared the glasses. "IF IT ISN'T THE [[Funky]] LITTLE [[Worm]] I WAS LOOKING FOR!" The glasses then jumped down to the ground and began to pump smooth jazz into the air.

"HEY-HE Y HEY! LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE [[All Alone On A Monday Night Foozball!?]]. ALL YOUR FRIENDS [[Abandoned You For The Napalm]] YEAH!? WELL [[Well Well Well Well Well Well]] YOU'RE HERE NOW AND THAT'S ALL THAT [[Mat Burns]]!" yelled the robot as it scuttled closer to Izuku. "IT'S TIME TO GIVE YOU A VERY [[Specil]] DEA-!"

"Wait! Just wait for a second, and also can you, uhm, stop the… weird jazz for a second," interrupted Izuku awkwardly as the music died down. "You know who I am already?"

"[[Record Scratch Sound 3]]. HEY! DIDN'T YOU EVER HEAR THE PHRASE, [[No Running In The Halls]]!

"Uh, e-excuse me?" stuttered Izuku, confused at the way the glasses were talking.

"YOU HEARD ME! I'M JUST A [[Cyberdyne Systems]] TRYING TO SELL YOU ON SOME SWEET SWEET [[Freedom Sauce]] AND THIS IS WHAT I GET!?" The glasses raised its front legs like it was giving an exasperated sigh. "GEZZ [[Unfinished Triple A Titles]] THESE DAYS!"

"Uhm, well, sorry for interrupting you. I guess I could hear you out little guy? What's your name?" asked Izuku trying to reach out to the glasses, yet they hopped back like a scared animal.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEE. HEY NO TOCHE AS THEY SAY IN [[Fromunda]]. I'M [[Made From High Quality Material!]].

"BUT SINCE YOUR FINALLY [[Praising Me!]], HOLD THE [[My Beer]] WHERE ARE MY MANNERS?!" The glasses then began to groove to the replayed jazz. "THE NAMES MY SPAMT–SPAMTON G. SPAMTON! EV3RY BUDDY 'S FAVORITE [[Number 1 Rated Salesman 2👓︎*7]]"

"BUT HOLD YOUR [[Title Sequence]] KIDDO. YOU ARE IZUKU [[D]] MIDORIYA RIGHT? THAT SHOELESS KIDDO WHO WAS ALL OVER THE [[Silver Screen]] LAST WEEK TONIGHT RIGHT?"

"Heh, oh yeah, I guess that makes sense on how you know me," mumbled Izuku sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. "But that doesn't really explain why you wanted to find me specifically?" asked Izuku apprehensively.

"WELL THAT'S EASY PEASY MAC N GREASY TO EXPLAIN! THANKS TO YOU NOT HAVING A [[Pee Pee N]], I MANAGED TO LOOK AT ALL YOUR INTERNET SEARCH HISTORY!"

"You what!?" shouted Izuku in shock, as some redness took to his face.

"AH DON'T YOU [[End Your Free Trial]] JUST YET. AFTER SHOVELING THROUGH ALL THAT HEROINE [[CORN!]], I FOUND OUT YOU'RE QUITE HERO WANNABE! ESPECIALLY FOR [[All American Rejects]]! THE [[Big Cheese]] HIMSELF!"

Izuku winced as the memory flashed through his mind. "Well… I was," he muttered looking downcast. "I just… know my limits now."

"AH COME ON [[Little Toothpaste Jr]] WHY SO BLUE? IT'S TOO WARM TO BE HAVING A MILD CASE OF [[Decomposition]]?

"No no, it's uh, not decomposition. I'm quirkless and that moment with that villain just proved… I'm nobody. A nobody who can't even save someone with or without a smile," mumbled Izuku, rubbing his arm as what All Might said to him replayed in his head again. "Not all men are created equal Spamton. Especially me…"

"WELL THAT'S WHY I'M [[Here, There, And Everywhere]]! IF YOU TAKE THIS DEAL, I GUARANTEE TO NOT ONLY MAKE YOU A [[BIG SHOT!]], BUT THE BIGGEST SHOT SINCE [[2👓︎*7]].

Izuku looked at the round glasses with skepticism. "No you can't. I just told you I'm-."

"[[Useless]]? YEAH I KNOW YOU'RE QUICKLESS, BUT MY DEALS ARE SO GREAT, I CAN MAKE ALL YOUR [[Hopes And Dreams .EXE]] POSSIBLE!"

Izuku looked past the talking glasses and stared at the wall. "Well, I don't exactly have another option so let me hear it I guess," said Izuku wearily.

"GLADLY!" Jumped the glasses happily. "ALL I NEED IS FOR YOU TO TAKE ME OUT OF THIS [[It Burns! Ow! Stop! Help Me! It Burns!]]."

"WITH THAT I CAN BE YOUR EXTRA SET OF [[Peepers]] AND I CAN GIVE YOU ALL THE [[👓︎Act → ︎👓︎Check]] YOU NEED ON THOSE [[Thrifty Shoppers]]! I ALSO COME WITH [[Please Insert Jazzercise VHS]] TO HELP YOU GET IN SHAPE AND ALSO NEVER BEFORE SEEN [[3D Hardware]]! AND MAYBE WHEN YOUR A LITTLE MORE DES-PRE-PIT, MAYBE YOUR OL PAL SPAMTON CAN EVEN GIVE YOU SOME FREE [[Hyperlink Blocked]] IN THE MORNING!

I'M TELLING YOU KIDDO! THIS IS A STEAL! A STEAL I TELL YEAH! I DON'T EVEN NEED YOUR [[Account Details]] OR EVEN THE [[Number On TheB4ck]]! JUST US AND ALL THE [[Fr3e KROmer]] WE CAN HAVE!

"SO WHAT DO YOU SAY! DEAL OR NO DEAL!?" asked the glasses loudly, holding out his robotic leg like a hand, ready to take his deal.

Izuku thought for a long time. A…very…long… time.

"I… don't know," mumbled Izuku, rubbing his arm again absentmindedly. "I'm not that desperate, I can do something else instead. Like a fire fighter or maybe a police officer. Right?" asked Izuku, desperation littered in his voice.

"MMMMM, WHILE THAT MAY BE A [[Secret Ending]], I DON'T BELIEVE THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT, IS IT?" asked Spamton, quieting his jazz to look right at Izuku, the light in his eyes burning low.

"What that's not true," lied Izuku, trying to brush off this feeling of guilt that was creeping into his heart.

"No."

For just a brief moment, Izuku felt the air chill along with the alley taking on a slight bluish hue before turning back to normal. Looking back at Spamton, Izuku was taken aback by how softly he was speaking. The tint in his eyes went from bright pink and yellow to a gray blaring static. "I can see that look in your eyes. The look that screams desperation, the look for someone who's fighting the urge to truly give up their hope of making it big."

"But I-"

"It doesn't matter if you're talentless. When you're in sales kiddo you don't let something like that throw you out the building. 'All men aren't created equal' huh. HA! Whoever told you that obvious bullshit must be an entitled piece of filth. Of course not all of us are equal, that's been true even before the age of these lame powers. You just gotta think bigger, plan bigger, and you gotta push past the darkness that plagues your heart."

Izuku nodded yes, never tearing his gaze away from Spamton, having his total undivided attention.

"Kiddo, I may never admit it again… but I'm desperate, alone, and in need of some generosity. But when I saw the supersized balls you had to do what you did, I knew that I could help you make it big. To at least cut the strings that hold you down as much as they do for me."

Izuku could hear shouting coming from outside the alleyway. "They're coming back to check?!"

"But it's up to you Izuku. You can say no and live your life how you want to. Or you can gamble on the future you truly dream to have. I just want you to know… your choices are all that m-.,at#t+R" glitched Spamton in a garbled mess of noise, as the static gray was gone, and was replaced with those bright and flashy pink and yellow.

"HUH? WHAT? NO, I DIDN'T HEAR ANYTHING JUST NOW!... BUT IT, SOUNDED LIKE THEY WERE TALKING TO YOU, HAEAHAEAHAEAHAEAH!" laughed Spamton manically as the shouting outside began to grow louder.

"Well find them extra hard you extras!" he heard Kachan yell.

It was now that Izuku had to make a choice.

To go outside and face the facts of reality. Go to school, get bullied, get a job, graduate, living and dying with no impact on the world.

Or to listen to the robotic salesman who saw him as someone who would do anything to achieve his dream. Someone who would help him…

"REALLY!? I MEAN UH, [[Defective Cough]], I KNEW YOU'D SAY YES KIDDO!" Cheered Spamton, doing a little jig as he played stock cheering sound effects.

"Yeah yeah that's great and all, but they're almost here! Do you have anything to get us out of here?" loudly whispered Izuku as the voices were almost about to show their faces.

"DON'T WORRY YOUR [[Protective Skin]]. PUT ME ON [[Like One Of Your French Dresses]] AND I'LL SHOW YOU A SHORTCUT KIDDO!"

"No not here," sighed another extra as he and his posse continued to go back towards school to check every spot they could've lost him.

"Well find them extra hard you extras!" he yelled, wiping away the sweat that matted his face. "I can't believe Deku of all people got away from me. I had him right there and had him cornered too, but he kept dodging like a damn rabbit. Humph, guess being shrimpy does have its advantages when all you do is run," huffed Bakugo to himself.

"I'll check this one myself, you lowly extras!" he said very calmly as he went into the next alleyway. It was barren like all the rest. Just an empty garbage can that smelled like crap. He looked around a bit more before huffing again as he turned around and left.

"I can't believe he didn't take my offer. He must've just acted without thinking again, just like last time. He'll learn soon enough I guess," he clenched his fists as he stepped out of the trash and into the setting sun. "So watch your back Deku, cause I swear when I get my hands on you, I'll make you pay for making me worry that day."

"Izuku!" yelled his mom as she rushed over to hug him. "I was so worried when you didn't make it home when you usually do, I almost called the police! What happened? What's with all the dirt on your clothes? What's that horrible smell? Why of all things did you get glasses? You don't even need them. Or do you!?" asked Inko like a gatling gun.

"Woah easy on the questions Mom. Everything's alright, I didn't run into a villain again, promise," started Izuku, as he walked further in to close the front door behind him. "I just got scuffed by some dirt and got a little lost, that's all."

"But the sun is almost down," she retorted worriedly.

"Yeah well I also did some shopping and found these cool glasses at the mall," smiled Izuku, adjusting his pink and yellow glasses for her to see.

Inko raised a brow at that. "Did you go into the mall with all that dirt?"

"Y-yeah. Sorry, I couldn't find a way to clean off the dirt," he said embarrassedly.

"And what about the brand of those glasses? I've never seen anyone have those kind before," asked his mom curiously as she tried to take them off him for her to get a closer look.

Izuku backed up slightly while holding them in place. "Uhm, their uh-,"

"[[Dealmakers]]"

"Dealmakers! Yeah it's kind of an underground brand called Dealmakers. I just thought they looked too cool to pass up," laughed Izuku sheepishly, readjusting his new glasses again.

"Well, I guess if everything's fine, go ahead and take a shower. I know you're my little baby boy and all but you smell like you fell into a literal dumpster," laughed Inko, playfully pinching her nose.

"Hahaha okay fine. Don't worry I can smell it too," laughed Izuku too, as he made his way to his bedroom.

"Oh, and dinner will be ready shortly so don't clean too much okay! It's fresh Katsudon!"

"Awesome thanks Mom! I'll be out soon!" yelled Izuku as he closed his door. He stood there taking it all in before he turned around to lean against the door for support. He felt bad lying to his Mom, but he didn't want to tell her about Spamton, not anytime soon at least.

However, the guilt didn't cloud his mind for long, as he noticed something shining in front of him in the middle of his dark room. Like an ember in the darkness, there was a bright golden star that he somehow felt only he could see. He felt a strong yearning to reach out and touch it, and when he did so, a feeling of warmth and safety shrouded his tired body, almost as if it was healing him.

Then, from the edges of his consciousness, the star whispered to his very soul…

.

With the door closed behind you,
Your adventure will truly begin…
Spamton, the quirky dealmaker, is now your ally,
And the power of needing a shower shines within you.

"Testing Testing one two three," I test into the mic, looking to my right at the screen to confirm.

"Mhm, seems to be in order. Hello Travelers, my name is Dr. Roman and on behalf of my team and colleagues, thank you for reading, hearing, and absorbing our story. It was quite enjoyable to see all of our variables run free with the new characters inserted, and it will be even better to see what routes they decide to take."

"I must get back to work, but be sure to, uhm," I turn away from the mic so they can't hear me, "Ahem, like and subscribe for more content." I cringe as I turn off for the day.
