-Newly designated Monarch outpost: Monster Island-

With a groan, Moloch stretched as he walked out of a seaside cave that Jira had led him to since that was where she was living, apparently. It was gonna take some getting used to, living in these conditions.

But given that he was able to sleep and cuddle with her all night made the ordeal far more enjoyable.

"Okay, let's see about exploring the place…" He said to himself before he felt a pair of arms wrap around his neck and a rather large pair of pillows press against his side (since his dorsal plates were in the way).

"Up so early?" Jira groaned, having just woken up. "Come on, Mol, come back to bed." She whimpered, giving him what seemed to be her version of puppy eyes.

"... Fine." The man groaned in defeat, since his legs didn't feel like they wanted to work with him.

This caused Jira to giggle as she jumped into his arms and caused them to roll back into the cave, kissing him all over in a show of copious affection.

(Later)

After spending some morning cuddle time together, Moloch and Jira were walking through the jungle on a sightseeing venture.

"Your body is so soft, I'm surprised it wasn't rougher." Moloch noted as he held his mate close, who purred and cooed in delight at the praise she was getting.

"I'm surprised you aren't more muscular. I half expected you to be a bodybuilder." The woman remarked, running a hand along her mate's streamlined muscles.

"Yeah, well, it was probably randomized." Moloch shrugged before a Skull Crawler ambushed them. "Seriously? In the fucking morning?!" He growled in displeasure.

"Yeah, these things never seem to take a hint." His lover sighed. "I'll scare it off." She told him as she took a breath, causing her dorsals to start glowing, before she let out an atomic breath blast.

The two-legged hypervore was sent flying back from the attack, and it had a hole where its heart would be. It was dead.

"Dead… Whatever. Those things are always eating." Jira grunted as the couple continued onward.

After half an hour, they found themselves in a bamboo forest.

"Careful. There are some nasty spiders that like to sneak around here." The mutate woman warned her mate, looking around warily as they walked.

"Great, crafty ones…" Tobias grunted. He always found himself aggrieved by these kinds of ambush tactics.

As they made their way through the bamboo forest, Moloch's eyes caught movement and he had to dodge a tube of "bamboo" that nearly skewered him. This made him look up and see that it was connected to the body of a Mother Long Legs.

"HOLY SHI—!" The man gasped as he backed up, accidentally tripping over his tail and falling on his back and expelling a green atomic breath blast up in the air—blasting a hole through the spider.

"... Holy shit, you just did your first atomic breath!" Jira gasped in awe. "Though why is it green?" She wondered in confusion.

"Maybe it differs between each member of Godzilla's kind?" Moloch hummed thoughtfully as he got up, speculating that a difference in color was possible.

It was then that they reached the stream where they went to get water and bathe in regularly, and Moloch decided to search for something to eat in the water.

As luck would have it, he found just that—as he dove his hands in the water and pulled as hard as he could, before pulling up a large bed of oysters.

"Hey Jira, I got breakfast!" He called to his mate, who perked up at the mention of food.

"Oysters?! Yum!" The Japanese mutate purred in delight as she walked up to him. "Too bad we don't have any lemon or cocktail sauce…" She sighed as she popped an oyster open with her claw.

"Wanna see if they have some at the outpost?" The German mutate questioned, shucking an oyster with his claw.

"Oh fuck yeah. Maybe we can split this with some of 'em." Jira nodded, drooling a bit as the imaginary flavor hit her tongue.

"Then let's get moving." Moloch chuckled with a smirk as the two started heading for the outpost to get some of the mentioned condiments, slurping the oyster he shucked. "Mmmm, it's sweeter than salt water oysters." He hummed.

"Yeah. I found that out not long after Monarch brought me here. They're pretty tasty." Jira chuckled in reply.

-Monarch Science Outpost, Florida Keys-

Back at the very same outpost Tobias and Drago got their mutations, two siblings were now in the same situation. Both were in their twenties, and shared a German-American heritage, but that was just about where things ended.

The female sibling had fair skin, black hair and silver eyes. Her figure was surprisingly generous for someone like her, sporting an hourglass figure with a pair of D-cup breasts and a bubble shaped ass. She was wearing a green tube top under a leather jacket, a pair of blue jeans and a pair of sneakers.

The male sibling had caucasian skin with a light tan, black hair and green eyes. His clothes consisted of a black shirt, blue shorts and a pair of black socks with no footwear. That last part was because he was, notably, being rolled along in a wheelchair by his sister.

"Can you explain to me why you decided to get me roped into this hairbrained scheme of yours again, Katerina?" The man questioned the woman pushing him in the chair.

"Because if my instincts are right, then you might get your legs back, Johan." Katerina replied.

"Sis, I told you that I've fully resigned to this lease life." Johan deadpanned.

"Bro, this also lets us start over after our lives were upended after what happened in 2016, trust me. Six people have already done this and it's worked out great for them." His sister stated.

"... Alright, fine. Let's see what happens." Johan sighed, deciding to at least see what'll happen.

After a bit, they arrived in the briefing room, where Mark, Ilene and Trapper were waiting.

"Glad you could make it." Mark nodded. "First I should explain what it is you're signing up for." He began. "Ilene, Trapper, why don't you start?" He asked.

"Okay, first off, we'll need to show you two pictures so you two can get a full idea of what's coming your way, you two." Ilene told the siblings as Trapper turned on the projector.

Unlike last time, where Shira and Jira were shown, two completely different mutates were present.

One was a man with the features of an eastern dragon. His body was slender, yet his muscles were built for fighting and had a good balance of speed and strength. His mutate traits included horns that looked trimmed down, neck frills, a long and slender serpentine tail with blade-like fins, and faded orange-red scales.

His human features consisted of fiery red hair, heterochromic eyes that were gold and silver in his right and left eye respectively, and a squared jawline.

Despite being reminded of Tiamat, Katerina found herself blushing at the man's appearance.

The second, however, was a woman. She had a body clearly meant for intercourse, and her mutated appearance seemed to only enhance that.

She had cloud white skin that somehow didn't look pale, horns that seemed almost like a crown around a mane of silver hair and blue eyes. She also had large wings that she had wrapped around herself like a cloak, taloned feet and legs that are digitigrade and slanted to give the illusion of high heels, clawed hands with scales giving the illusion of gloves, electrically conductive silver scales all over her body in a sling bikini-like fashion that can shift to cover and uncover different areas of her body, a forked tongue, and two spiked rattle tails.

The only clothing she had on was a simple loincloth and what looked like a gold sharkskin tie on bra which… barely covered her up aside from her wings.

The pose she was striking for the camera was clearly that of a dominatrix, a detail that had Johan blushing since she looked very appealing to him.

Partly because he was no stranger to Dom/Sub relationships and he often spent time in both roles, it was something he liked in his women… well that and if they wanted to have kids, he hadn't had luck on that front.

"These two go by Smaug and Riven respectively." Ilene explained for the two, smirking faintly at their blushes. "Smaug was formerly known as Sylvester Amadeus "Sly" Motzart, a boy whose family was originally from Australia, and had to steal for his family to survive, but he was caught in the act on G-Day, and the family he was stealing from bribed the officials to get him the death penalty over it." She continued.

"Wow, talk about overreacting." Katerina huffed in annoyance.

"Which is why Monarch got him out of that mess and faked his death so nobody would look for him." Mark stated.

"And the lady?" Johan prompted.

"Riven was originally named Alice Gehabich." Trapper explained

"The granddaughter of the famous Scientist Michael Gehabich? You're kidding." Katerina guffawed.

"No we are not, Alice was a Monarch worker stationed at Ghidorah's tomb when Emma woke him up." The Titan veterinarian nodded with a chuckle. "She was covered up in his embryonic and regenerative fluids—a lot of it going down her throat like the end of a bad bed date—and was forced into incubation where she mutated. It was for the best, honestly, since she was trapped in a cave in, and would've died otherwise." He continued.

"So now she's mutated into a Ghidorah hybrid." Johan nodded. "So, what? I'm supposed to be the male of her new species and Katerina is supposed to be Sly—or Smaug's—female counterpart?" He questioned.

"Only if you're willing." Mark nodded in reply. "If you accept, you'll all be taken to an off-the-map island in Monarch's jurisdiction where civilization can't persecute you after the procedure is done." He added.

"And not to toot our own horns but so far we've managed to pair up four other mutates into two very happy couples." Trapper amended with a smile. "Just a bit of track record success to help you make your decision." He added.

"It's also very possible that with Ghidorah's regeneration abilities, you'll not only be able to walk again, but also fly with the wings you'll grow." Ilene nodded.

"I told you so." Katerina told her brother smugly.

"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up." Johan huffed indignantly. "But at any rate, I accept." He added a moment later.

"Me too." Katerina nodded.

"Follow us, then." Mark told them as he led them to the area where they were to receive their injections.

The two decided to strip down like those before them, allowing the doctors to inject them with the genetic material—Johan in his arm and Katerina just below her left breast—allowing it to enter them quickly and allow things to continue soon after.

(Later)

The siblings were in a single room, and it was this room that they woke up to. The first thing they saw was each other, and both were impressed with the other.

"Not too bad, sis." Johan remarked as he sat up.

"You look like a chick magnet yourself, bro." Katerina chuckled as she grabbed her brother's hand.

The woman was now a bright magenta, purple and blue with very clear Tiamat-like features, from Horns, to dorsal fins, to a series of foldable neck frills, a lustrous sheen on her scales that made them bioluminescent, sharp claws, dragon teeth and gills. And apparently she had a spike at the bottom of her heels similar to a knife-like stiletto.

Her figure had also become even more voluptuous than before, fusing her previously Athletic build with something more akin to the 'Sex Toy' body type, giving her assets that would make the sexiest porn stars and models jealous.

Johan, meanwhile, was his own unique specimen. His body was adorned with golden scales, and while his eyes were still green, they had a red tint in them. His hair had also gained a golden streak in it. He had also gained a runner's build, which helped with that problem in particular.

He also had a crown of horns, large wings that he wrapped around himself like a cloak on instinct, taloned feet, digitigrade legs, clawed hands, electrically conductive scales, forked tongue, and two spiked tails.

"Okay, moment of truth for your legs. I'll be here if you stumble." She told her brother, making it clear he could trust her.

Not like Johan needed any coaxing.

"Yeah." Johan nodded as he took a breath and stood. He stumbled a bit, but his sister caught him.

"Yeah, I think they work." She smiled as she stood up as well, her natural high heels clacking on the floor. "… I wonder if I can…" She mused before the spikes retracted. "That's handy." She nodded.

Then the two got dressed, Katerina having a blue sports bikini (since she's gonna spend a lot of time in water) while Johan just opted for a pair of shorts in his new colors since he didn't see himself getting a shirt over his wings.

The two figured that a minimalist approach to clothing was best given their current situation. Additionally, Trapper came in and handed them their designated Titan name dog tags.

Johan was now Taranis while Katerina was now Sapphira.

"So, when do we leave?" Taranis questioned.

"Right now, actually." Trapper replied as he led the two to the tarmac.

(Later)

"Am I the only one who finds it funny that despite being able to fly, I'm on an airplane?" The gold scaled mutate remarked with a chuckle as the AC-130 flew them to their destination.

"This is mainly for the purposes of keeping your existence as Mutates on the down low." Trapper told him.

"So besides Smaug and Riven, who else is there?" Sapphira asked.

"Well, there's Jira and Moloch, who got fused with Godzilla's genetic material and radiation." Ilene began. "And yes, we named him after the Mosasaur from Maneater." She added with a chuckle upon seeing the amused looks of the siblings. "There's also Viserion and Shira, who have Shimo's stuff." She continued. "You two will be making up the third and fourth sets." She told them.

"Just how many mutates are there?" Taranis questioned.

"That's the thing, mate." Trapper replied with a shrug. "We haven't the slightest idea." He stated.

"So assume that there's gonna be enough for… probably an entire society after a while." Sapphira summed up.

"That's the gist of it." The Titan vet nodded with a shrug.

"Though we should tell you that the two you were paired up with tend to stick to their own 'territories' due to the fact that they don't know each other that well and don't want to cause issues for the Monarch scientists tasked with monitoring the island and its inhabitants." Ilene stated.

"So where should we be heading off to when we land? What territories do we need to head to?" Taranis questioned.

"Well Smaug has been monitored sticking near a coastline cave that was carved into the side of a cliff by erosion." Trapper stated.

"And Riven has been spotted making her home in a canyon the monitors have dubbed the Plates of Woe with a large rock formation called Plateau Abbey due to its resemblance to a palace." Ilene added,

"A palace. I should've expected that, honestly." The golden mutate hummed.

"Any indications to which side of the island Smaug is on? It's gotta be a big island, so just saying "he's on the coastline" sounds vague." Sapphira asked.

"The cave he's shacked up in is on the west side of the island. It's also common for him to spend time swimming around in the water around his cave." Trapper responded. "Meaning you both could drop out of the plane once we reach the airspace—one diving into the water and the other flying inland." He suggested.

The siblings looked at each other before they grinned eagerly.

"How long until we're in the airspace?" Taranis questioned.

"I'd say less than five minutes." Trapper told them, looking at his gps and his watch.

"Get ready to open the cargo door when we arrive." Sapphira smirked, looking forward to a dramatic arrival.

(Literally five minutes later)

Upon arriving in the airspace of Monster Island, Trapper opened the cargo door at the back of the plane.

"Have fun down there, you two! Try not to get so wrapped up in what you're doing that you forget each other!" The man laughed.

"Ha! Fat chance of us forgetting to find each other so we can talk every now and then!" Sapphira laughed as well.

"True that! Let roll, sis!" Taranis grinned, sharing a fist bump with his sibling before the two of them ran forward and leaped out of the plane, the dragon man unfurling his wings and flapping them while his sister splashed down.

"Well, that's that boys. Let's head home." The vet called.

Meanwhile, up in the cold snowy peaks of the mountains of Monster Island, inside an icy cave that was in the face of the mountain, a slumbering Viserion was snoring like a chainsaw as he embraced a soft and shapely feminine figure in his arms as he slept.

This figure was his recently acquired but deeply beloved mate, Shira, who he had no qualms with holding onto tightly as his tail intertwined itself with hers subconsciously in their dreaming state.

The cold surrounding them didn't even remotely phase them, otherwise they wouldn't be sleeping like they are right now.

However, the tapping of a Glacier Crab—a Crustacean similar to a dungeness crab but was the size of a Mud Crab in Skyrim (which are also a variety of crab on the island) with a carapace of hardened snow—on the cave floor, turned out to be enough to wake the larger male, as he slammed his hand on the crab, killing it instantly.

"Cursed crabs…" The Russian grumbled irritably. Nothing irritated a man more than a pest waking them up.

It was at this moment that Shira woke up with a yawn, sitting up and stretching as she untangled her tail from her mate's.

"What's all the noise?" The cold dwelling woman asked groggily as she rubbed her eyes.

"Just one of those damned Glacier Crabs scuttling near me… It's dead now." Viserion replied, holding up said crab for emphasis.

Shira eyed the crab before she took it and divided its body into sections for the two of them to eat, and then proceeded to suck on and eat one of the crab's large claws.

"A little information on these: While good raw, they actually taste better cooked—specifically boiled or steamed and drenched in butter." Shira told her mate informatively. "Though I'm in no mood for anything cooked at the moment." She amended.

"Well there is a full nest of them in a frozen spring just around the corner from the cave." The male mutate noted, gnawing on a leg quarter. "We could gather those up and cook them for dinner." He offered.

"I could go for that." The mutate woman nodded as she got to her feet.

"Then let's go." Viserion smiled as he too got to his feet and stretched a bit before leading his lover to the frozen spring.

(Elsewhere)

Meanwhile, on the west coast of the island, Katerina—now known as Sapphira—weaved her way through the currents of Monster Island's coastline, searching for the cave that was supposed to mark the center of the territory held by her future mate, the male Tiamat mutate known as Smaug.

'With how big this island is, it's gonna take me a while to find him at this rate.' She thought as she swam along.

As if some higher power heard and took pity on her, she soon took notice of various bone and stone piles—probably from previous kills—littered on the ocean floor, almost in a sort of trail pattern that was leading somewhere.

Deciding it was worth following, Sapphira went along the trail and found the piles growing as she swam. Eventually, she reached the cave she was looking for.

"Finally." She sighed in a watery voice before swimming up to the entrance.

As she entered the cave, she took notice of the fact that the cave seemed to be practically carved into the shape of a fucking Grecko-Roman palace from Doric and ionic columns to furniture, to wall carvings and things that looked like they belonged in the Parthenon and the Pantheon… Hell, the cave entrance was even carved into a Greek gateway.

"Well, someone has a deep appreciation for Greek architecture." The woman commented in an impressed tone as she looked around the cave.

"Why thank you." A male voice replied, causing Sapphira to turn and see Smaug swimming up to her.

"… You're not gonna attack me for being in your territory, are you?" The woman questioned.

"Mutate instincts aren't that much of a hair trigger." The man replied, circling her. "But I am wondering why a gorgeous woman with the same mutate typing as me just swam into my parlor." He mused.

"Well, I could give you a long winded explanation, but I'm not going to do that and just stick with the short version." Sapphira shrugged. "The short version is: I volunteered to let Monarch inject me with Tiamat's genetic material and mutate me into this so they could play matchmaker." She told him.

"Oh? No regrets about leaving your old life behind?" Smaug hummed.

"Not really, since it got upended after the Rise of the Titans." The German American woman replied. "Plus, I roped my brother into this so he could regain the ability to use his legs again." She added.

"He was a cripple?" The gentlemanly mutate blinked in surprise.

"Keyword "was." The whole thing was a success and he can walk again." The woman pointed out.

"What about your parents? Won't they miss you?" He questioned.

"They died shortly after Ghidorah woke up Tiamat. Injuries sustained after she attacked our home in Sacramento." Sapphira replied. "My brother and I are all that's left." She shrugged.

"I see… My condolences to your family." The man hummed, frowning slightly.

"Thanks." The woman sighed. "Heard about what happened to you. Who was that guy you stole from?" She questioned.

"You remember Apex?" Smaug questioned.

"The assholes with a superiority complex that built Mecha Godzilla? Yeah. Why?" Sapphira responded.

"I actually stole from their boss himself." Smaug revealed, causing his guest to laugh.

"Ha! Nice!" She guffawed.

"Well I feel like becoming a mutate may have been a bit rash given what ended up happening, I guess it's not that bad." He admitted.

"Plus you get the chance to start over." The woman supplied.

"That as well." Smaug nodded. "Now, how about I show you around?" He offered, extending a hand.

"I'll take you up on that." Sapphira smiled as she accepted the offered hand, allowing him to lead her deeper into the sculpted cave.

Meanwhile with Taranis, it took him a while, but he was able to reach the canyon his future mate was living in.

"Okay, let's see if I can find her, or if she'll find me…" He said to himself as he descended.

He didn't go into the canyon itself, but he was flying about three hundred feet above it to get a good look at things. What he saw was about as much as one would expect from a canyon: a river at the bottom, rocks, the occasional plant life… Then he spotted a cave entrance that looked like it was crafted to look like the entrance of a Roman palace or even a Scandinavian cathedral.

Figuring that was where Riven was living, Taranis descended into the canyon and landed at the entrance without much noise.

"Okay, let's hope she doesn't attack me for being here." He said to himself as he walked inside.

As he looked around, the whole cave turned out to be sculpted exactly like a Roman palace, and was illuminated not by torches, but by purple glowing stones that shined brightly. This revealed all the intricate detail that had been invested in the cave.

"Did Riven do this? Or did she get someone else to make all this?" Taranis wondered as he ended up in what looked like a dining room with a stone table since this place looked way too new to be a ruin from Roman times.

"Who is the uninvited guest who waltzes into my parlor?" A voice echoed through the building styled plateau, seemingly shifting between a myriad of different voices the gold scaled mutate either recognized or didn't before settling into a single voice as it continued. "Who is the lone sire that enters the queen's lair?" The obviously feminine vocals questioned as a silver shape moved into a doorway.

"That depends on what answer you want." Taranis replied as he turned around and saw the silver dragoness herself standing there. "Would you like a reasonable answer or a blunt one?" He asked.

"Surprise me." Riven replied.

"I'm someone that Monarch would have as your husband, if you'll accept me." The man told her.

"Hm…" The silver beauty hummed as she circled the man, inspecting him and assessing his viability, her tails tracing his body as they rattled in his ear in a contemplative display. "What was your most defining trait pre-mutation?" She inquired.

"I was crippled by Tiamat when she attacked Sacramento, California." Taranis replied flatly.

"... My apologies for touching that subject." Riven apologized with a wince.

"Don't worry about it. When Monarch mutated me, that was undone." The man informed her.

"What is your name?" She questioned.

"Taranis. Interesting that Monarch named us both after two famous Wish Dragons." The male mutate replied, his own tails rattling thoughtfully as he said this.

"Quite." Riven hummed in agreement as she stopped in front of him. "So Monarch would have us together, hmm, O suitor mine?" She hummed.

"You don't deserve to be condemned to a life of loneliness. People like us never do." Taranis told her in reply, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her flush against him.

"No, I suppose not." The woman hummed as she laid her head on his chest, her wings opening as his own did as well. "I suppose you and I are both of the same opinion." She nodded as she wrapped her wings around him and he did the same to her.

"Seems that way." Taranis nodded, his chin resting on her.

"Though, I should warn you. I am not dominated so easily in bed." She told him.

"Good. I like that in a woman." The gold scaled man shot back with a smirk.

"Oh~. Someone has an interesting taste in women." The silver beauty cooed with a smirk of her own as she looked up at her new mate.

"Well, in my experience, women who can play both roles are the most fun." Taranis chuckled before he kissed her square on her plentiful lips, the woman moaning in delight as she returned the gesture.

"Mmmm, then come with me, Taranis. Come and claim what is yours." Riven purred to him, licking his cheek with her forked tongue.

"Oh, I will." The golden mutate whispered huskily into her ear as they headed for the bedroom.

Back with Moloch and Jira, they had just left the Monarch outpost after eating the oysters, making sure to share them among everybody that wanted some.

"Well, that was a flavorful experience I didn't know was possible." The man mused as they walked.

"Oysters are pretty good…" Jira nodded, right before she had to jump out of the way as several large crabs came out of the clay. "Trap door crabs. These are really good steamed and boiled." She noted, not really scared.

"...Think we can use our atomic breaths to get them steamed?" Moloch asked thoughtfully.

"I actually tried that. They turned out pretty good." Jira told him, drooling a bit when she recalled her first culinary attempt with her atomic breath… Best idea ever.

"Then let's cook." Her mate smirked as he bashed several crabs, enough for a full meal, causing the rest to retreat.. "I could use the practice with my atomic breath, anyway." He added.

"Alright." Jira nodded as she hoisted a crab up. "Let's bring these back to the lair, I have a rock that I hollowed out and use as an oven. We can make bread to go with it." She added.

"Do you even have eggs, milk and yeast for that?" He questioned.

"Eggs courtesy of various birds here and milk from female forest buffalo." She nodded. "Which also makes great steaks and barbecue, by the way." She added, her hips and tail swaying as she walked.

"Pretty sure we'd destroy the whole ecosystem on the island if we frequently ate them." Moloch commented, stealing a glance at her hips and tail every now and then as her ass jiggled.

"Why do you think I stick to poultry, fowl, seafood, and other nuisance animals?" Jira retorted. "Steaks and barbecue are occasional, darling. Just like back home." She added, walking a bit faster to intentionally make her ass bounce more to make him keep staring.

"Do you have any relationships with the local wildlife?" Moloch felt the need to ask. "Aside from killing the Skull Crawlers." He amended.

"Yeah, actually." The woman replied. "A couple of days after I got here, I saved some falcons from a Skull Crawler. Later that same day, I was laying on my stomach near the beach and they showed up and started cleaning up my dorsal plates." She explained.

"That seems handy." The man mused as he started scratching an itch on his back… At least until he felt several things land on him and started picking at the spots.

Looking over his shoulder, he saw a flock of finches pecking skin mites off of him.

"Hm? Oh, look at that. Looks like you've got something similar to me now." Jira hummed before spotting the finches at work.

"Thanks, little guys." The man smiled, scratching their little heads as they finally reached their lair. "So, shall we fix ourselves a crab and oyster dinner, darling." He smiled teasingly, using her pet name for him back at her.

"Indeed we shall." The woman purred in reply as they went inside.

(Elsewhere)

Meanwhile back with Viscerion and his beloved mate Shira, the male mutate managed to create a pot from stone and fill it with ice to melt and boil as water, where he seasoned it with salt pepper that he found and herbs, before he dropped in several Glacial Crabs into it, boiling them.

"Oh that smells heavenly, my love." Shira sighed as she hugged her mate, which he responded to by kissing her.

"I want only the best for you, my winter queen." He purred, licking her cheek.

"Flatterer." The former Monarch worker sighed happily.

"Only for you, my dear. Only for you." The former Russian boxer smiled as he held her close.

After about half an hour, the crabs were finally ready to be eaten. The face Shira made when she ate them made Viserion's day.

With Sapphira and Smaug, the two of them had just caught a Mako shark, and were on their way back to the cave.

"Hey, how do you cook anything if you're living underwater?" The woman questioned in confusion.

"I have a fireplace." The man replied as they dragged the shark past the gateway.

"Do you have an above water portion of the cave that I never saw?" Sapphira questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"The entire lair is above water once you get past the doorway." He told her as they dragged the shark across the cave floor once getting it out of the water and over onto the cave floor and over to a carved stone fireplace. "It works like a stone fire oven too." He added.

"I'm gonna assume that it's connected to a hole so the smoke can vent out of here?" The woman guessed as she peeked inside the oven and sure enough, she could see a bit of sunlight. "Yep, it is." She nodded.

"Right." Smaug nodded as he set up the shark on a table carved from a stalagmite. "Now, let's get all of the edible parts separated from what isn't edible." He prompted.

"Luckily, I know my way around sharks, so I can help." Sapphira nodded as she came over to the table and stood next to him.

Once both parties were ready, they got to work.

(Later)

After the gutting was done, the two ended up having Mako shark filets with some wild rice that grew on the island along with some oranges and adjacent citrus that grew exclusively on the island and Skull Island based on records. Probably was enjoyed by the Kongs.

"Oh, this looks magnificent!" Smaug said in a satisfied tone.

"It smells so delicious, too!" Sapphira nodded, pleased with their combined handiwork. "Shall we dig in?" She asked with a purr.

"We shall." The man nodded as he got her platter set up first, getting a kiss on the cheek from his mate.

"Sweetheart." She smiled as she went to the stalagmite carved dining table.

(Elsewhere)

With Taranis and Riven, the gold and silver duo had just finished their time in bed and now they were starving.

"Hm… I feel like having Terror Dodo right now." Riven hummed.

"I'll eat anything. I haven't eaten since I got here." Taranis remarked.

"Oh dear, we can't have that. Come along; we're going hunting." The silver woman told her new mate as she led him to the entrance of their palace and unfurled her wings. "Let's put your hunting prowess to the test, shall we?" She hummed as she took to the skies, the gold scaled mutate right behind her.

After a few minutes of flight, they spotted a group of the nuisance poultry running after a forest buffalo.

Deciding to dive after them to save the vital parts of the ecosystem, the couple dove down and nailed two of the birds on the spot—which spooked the others and caused them to run the other direction.

The forest bison, as a result, was spared an unfortunate fate.

"Alright, these'll definitely feed us." Taranis nodded as he picked his kill up by the neck.

"Indeed they will. Now, let's get them back to the palace and prepare them for cooking." Riven nodded before the two took back to the skies with their kills.

(Later)

After returning to the palace, the two of them immediately headed for the kitchen and plopped the two birds on different counters.

Rubbing his hands together, Taranis started generating electricity before he zapped the bird carcasses, burning away the feathers without cooking the meat.

"Now they can be either fried or roasted over a spit." He said.

"Luckily, I have a firepit for the latter." Riven nodded. "How about we each make our own the way we prefer?" She proposed.

"Sure. It'll let us keep our culinary skills sharp." Taranis nodded in reply.

With that decision made, the two got to work.

(Later)

Now in the dining room, the two hydra-based dragon people now had their terror dodo meals on the table in front of them. Taranis had fried terror dodo with some oranges and rice on the side, and Riven had roasted terror dodo with a side of wild broccoli and apples.

"Now don't these look like well made meals?" The man smiled as he looked at his lover.

"Indeed they do." The silver woman nodded with her own smile. "Most women are typically the ones who do the cooking in a household, it's rare that the husband is so adamant about cooking." She noted.

"In my family, if someone wants to cook, they'll bean their significant other on the head with a frying pan to get the message across… Or so a story from my grandmother goes." Taranis replied, adding that last part as an amendment. "Plus, I spent a fair bit of time in the kitchen prior to what Tiamat did to me, so I felt comfortable there." He added.

"You had a family?" His mate questioned, worried that she stepped in a minefield metaphorically speaking.

"Had." Taranis sighed as he took a bite out of his dodo drumstick. "I lost contact with most of them after the Rise of the Titans, and a lot of them were confirmed to be deceased later." He told her, his face falling slightly. "It's part of why I came here: For a fresh start." He added. "Like I mentioned before, my sister is here, too." He reminded.

Riven looked at her lover with a sad look on her face. She felt bad about unwittingly digging up his past, especially since from the sound of things, it was pretty bleak.

"... Did Monarch tell you anything about my past?" She asked, figuring that if they didn't say much, then she could perhaps even things out a bit.

"Just that you were one of their workers pre-mutation, and the daughter of a famous scientist. Why?" Taranis asked in reply.

"It's my grandfather who was the reason I was mutated instead of being crushed when the cave collapsed." She began. "Right before the charges were detonated he pushed me into a vat of genetic material we had been meaning to study before all that happened—saving me—but allowing himself to be crushed in the resulting aftermath in my place." She told him. "It's why I hate Emma Russel and have at many different points, wanted to kill her—and she knows this—because not only did her actions lead to the deaths of millions, but also robbed me of my humanity and what family I had left." She added.

The more she talked about it, the more Riven teared up in sadness at what she had lost. Taranis picked up on this and got up from his seat before holding her close, letting her cry into him.

"I'm here now. Let it all out." He told her softly, rubbing her back—wrapping his wings around her in an effort to comfort his distraught mate.

Everyone was settling in, but it was clear that some of them still harbored trauma in one form or another—luckily though, it would seem that their mates were more than willing to share those burdens with them.

ThermalsniperN7: *Inhales and exhales* … Well, it looks like some of the new residents are still holding a bit of baggage. Other than that, everyone on the island seems to be settling in well so far.

Dragon Emperor0: Really well by the look of it, I mean, just going off of this chapter alone, it looks like Monarch's matchmaking skills are more than a little successful in pretty much all cases.

ThermalsniperN7: Yeah. They are surprisingly good with this kind of thing, for a science and monitoring group. Not bad. Also, quick reminder of what Titans have already been covered: Godzilla, Shimo, Tiamat and Ghidorah. If you had an OC for Ghidorah, sorry about that. The two of us started thinking and things happened.

Dragon Emperor0: Seriously guys, if you got any character ideas for the remaining Titans: Kong (Great Apes), Rodan, Mothra, MUTO, Behemoth, Methuselah, Scylla, Camazots, and any others you can think of, make them and send them in, because we will use them and we will give credit. Really, it really helps a lot.

ThermalsniperN7: We won't be working on another chapter for a while to give this time to settle, and let you guys get creative. Come on, guys. Don't be shy. Anyway, see you guys next time.
