In the afternoon, the apartment was filled with the sounds of a football documentary that Archie was binge-watching on the couch. The drone of the narrator's voice and the occasional roar of the crowd played in the background as he immersed himself in the game's history. Meanwhile, Veronica paced back and forth in their living room, her face etched with worry and frustration. The aftermath of Hiram and Hermione's interference had left her feeling like everything was spiraling out of control.

"Archie, focus!" Veronica snapped suddenly, her voice cutting through the noise.

Archie looked up, startled. "What? I am focused. I'm just taking a break."

Veronica glared at him, her eyes flashing with irritation. "The wedding countdown is just a couple of months away, and I am stressed out. Ever since Hiram and Hermione messed with our plans, I feel like I'm losing it."

Archie paused the documentary and sat up straight. "Okay, calm down. What exactly happened between us and your parents that's got you so worked up?"

Veronica crossed her arms, her frustration mounting. "Are you dumb, Archie? They canceled our wedding, made us kneel and beg for forgiveness, and humiliated us in front of everyone. How can you not get how serious this is?"

Archie took a deep breath, trying to remain calm. "I get it, Veronica. I really do. But you're acting like a bridezilla right now. What's going on?"

Veronica's eyes widened in disbelief. "You really don't understand, do you? I didn't get the wedding dress yet, I haven't planned out the rehearsal party, and everything is falling apart because of them. They've ruined everything!"

Archie stood up and walked over to her, placing his hands on her shoulders. "Veronica, we can fix this. We can still have the wedding we want."

Veronica shook her head, tears of frustration welling up in her eyes. "I gave you an ultimatum, Archie. Either we figure this out together, or I don't know if I can go through with this wedding."

Archie felt a pang of panic but tried to keep his voice steady. "Veronica, we've come this far together. We can't let them win. We need to regroup and tackle this head-on."

Veronica sighed and leaned into him, her anger slowly giving way to exhaustion. "I just want everything to be perfect, Archie. I want our wedding to be the way we dreamed it."

Archie held her close, rubbing her back gently. "It will be, Veronica. We just need to take it one step at a time. Let's start with the dress. We can go shopping together, and I'll help you with the rehearsal party plans. We'll make it work."

Veronica nodded, feeling a small sense of relief. "Okay, you're right. One step at a time."

Archie smiled and kissed her forehead. "That's the spirit. We've got this, V. We'll make it perfect, no matter what."

Veronica wiped her eyes and gave him a small smile. "Thank you, Archie. I don't know what I'd do without you."

"You'll never have to find out," he replied softly.

As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, Veronica felt a renewed sense of hope. Despite the chaos and stress, she knew that with Archie by her side, they could overcome anything. They would face the challenges together and create the wedding of their dreams, just as they had always planned.
