*11 years later*
Since incident at the factory Valerie decided to tell mike and her parents about her past by the time her seventh birthday was coming up. She got dressed the next morning and went to eat her breakfast. "Morning Valerie how are feeling?" Said Amy taking a seat across from her. "I'm fine mom but . . ." She sighed. "But what?" Said Amy in concern. "I think I need to you,dad,and Mike about to talk about my past before dad saved me." Said Valerie. "Are you sure about this Valerie?" Said Amy. "Yeah and Mike is my best friend. He needs to know why I was acting the way I did back at the factory." Said Valerie then looked at Earl who walked into the kitchen.
"You ready Valerie." said Earl then saw their expression. "What's going on?" Earl said taking a seat next Amy. "I need to tell guys about my past after school. I am bringing mike with me since he is my friend."said Valerie. Earl sighed looking at his wife then his daughter and nodded. "Alright sweetheart but he needs to keep it between us. Now come on before your late to school." He said grabbing the keys and opened the door for Valerie. "You know what your doing Valerie. I know being a scarer is tough for you because of the whole 'humans are toxic' thing but how will he react about th-" "Dad I got this ever since i went through that all he ever thought about becoming scarer like you and uncle frank. I wanted to be a scarer because I want to show 'Them' how it feels to traumatize a kid's life." Valerie interrupted running her hand through her long red hair and sighed. Earl stopped at a red light and wrapped an arm around her shoulder giving her a slight embrace. "I trust you Valerie. I just don't wont to lose you if the secret got out." He said then drove to Monstropolis high school. "Ok see you and mike after school. Good luck sweetheart."said Earl then left for work. Valerie signed and walked to her class and sat next Mike who was reading about the human phobias.
As class was about to begin I wrote a note to Mike. 'Mike can you come over to my place after school I have to tell you something.' it said then tossed it in front of the book. Mike saw the paper and read it before writing his response and passed it back to me. 'Ok but i need to let my parents know.' he wrote. I looked up at him and smiled a little. Then I took out my notebook and wrote down the lesson on the board for the rest of the class period.
As class was over Valerie went to her locker with Mike behind her. "So did you get a letter from MU school is almost over in about three weeks." Said Mike opening his locker putting his books away. "No not yet but don't worry about it Mikey." Said Valerie taking out her lunch bag from her locker. "I'll meet you at the cafeteria. In just going to turn my books." Said mike making his way to the library. "Valerie I need your help." Said a girl behind her. Turning around to see Haley holding a sketchbook. "On what?" Said Valerie. "Well since we both take art. I wanted to know if the shading on my little sister is right." Said Haley opening the book and showed the drawing to her. Valerie looked through the details from the cat ears to the shoulders. "Haley there's nothing wrong but just a little shading on the pupils. That's all. Anyways I'm gonna hang out with mike wanna come?" Said Valerie. "Sure and maybe you guys can helps prepare for the test in my next class." Said Haley as the girls walked towards the cafeteria. "Hey wait up!" Said Mike running towards them.
*Time Skip*
Mike and Valerie got to the her house with her parents waiting in the living room. "Hi, Mr and Mrs. Thompson. Valerie said she wanted to tell me something which is?" said Mike facing Valerie. "You might want on sit down for this one." said Valerie taking a seat next mike. "So you remember the field trip to the factory and you went through the door." she said. "Yeah and then you went home early because you freaked out more than anyone. Why are asking?" Said Mike. "The reason that is because I've lived in the human world for awhile. I was human before I was used as an experiment." she says looking at her parents then at Mike with a shocked expression.
"Is some sort of joke? But how can you be a human even your a monster like us. How did you even get here?" said Mike. Valerie sighed,"Its the truth Mike. I was born a human until the scientist kidnapped me from my dead human parents when I was three months old and injected shots into my body with animal DNA. They been testing me since then until Dad entered the room where I was held in and took me in after he saw what they did to me."said Valerie. "Please you can't tell anyone about this otherwise I'm going to be banished to the human world where the scientist can find me or worse?" said Valerie. "I won't Valerie. You been my friend since kinder garden. Anyways I better go my parents are waiting for me to get home. See ya at school tomorrow." said Mike closing the door behind him. Valerie leand back and felt her dad touch her shoulder. "You did the right thing sweetheart. If it makes feel any better this came for you." said Earl giving an envelope to Valerie. She ripped it opened reading through it and Smiled. "I'm accepted to MU." She said smiling at her parents.
