After the summer Valerie had her things ready and put the bags in the van. "I'm really proud of you Valerie and we wish you luck at becoming at whatever you choose to be." said Amy giving her a hug and peck on the forehead. Earl walk to Valerie doing the same and looked at her red and ice blue eyes. (A/N: Her left eye is red and the other is Ice blue.) "I just want you to know that if anything happens or you want to talk. You can always visit me at the factory or anywhere but give me a call first. I'm glad that I was the one who found behind that door and claimed you as my daughter. Good bye, sweetheart." Said Earl giving one last hug and let Valerie get in the passenger seat.
"Got your stuff ready Valerie." Said Roz starting the van. "Yes, Aunt Roz." Said Valerie putting her seat belt on. "Thanks my girl. Now remember about the things I told you." Said Roz driving down the street and on the highway. "That I need to watch my back if anyone else found out Bout me and that I call you on speed dial. If encase someone tries to mess with me by the way I look I use the pepper spray or the secret taser. You got me on the first day high school or the self defense training." Said Valerie. Roz smiled a little then nodded. "You go that right." Said Roz then pulled over at the corner of the school.
Valerie stepped out and took her two suit cases out and put her backpack on. "Thanks Aunt Roz. I call twice a week." Said Valerie walking down the sidewalk. "Anytime Valerie and remember I'm always watching always." Said Roz. Valerie smiled and saw the bus stopping and saw a familiar green figure walking the steps. "Long time hasn't it Mikey." Said Valerie walking towards him. Mike turned and saw Valerie heading this way and smiled. "Valerie good to see you again. I haven't seen since you moved after graduation. How's things going at the new home." Said mike walking through the gates with Valerie by his side. "Great there was plenty of room to put my work on display so everyone in the family come see." Said Valerie.
"Well at least they know that someone has a talent other than being a scarer. Now come on lets sign up before it gets full." said Mike. Laughing at this Valerie signed up for art club and followed Mike to the dorms. Inside were so many monsters talking to each other and hanging out. "Here you Ms. Thompson. Room 168 and it's a great honor to meet the Terror's kid. Have a great day." said the dorm attendant. "Thanks." said Valerie. "See you at Scaring 101. Mikey." She said as the two made their separate ways to their dorms. Valerie was about to open the door but someone opened it before her. "Haley Knighter. Your my roommate." said Valerie immediately recognizing the angel wings and white/black fur.
The feline moved her long bangs that was covering her four eyes a little bit and her best friend standing the doorway. "No way Valerie Thompson. I haven't seen you since graduation. I can't believe your my roomie and almost have the same schedule as you. Is Mike with you? I miss that green gumball." said Haley as Valerie dropped her stuff next to her bed. "Just missed him but I have him for Scaring 101 though. We can meet him there." said Valerie. "Yes I have the same class you two. Now come the bell is about to ring for class." said Haley taking her bag as Valerie did the same. Opening the door and walked down the halls to their class and spotted Mike sitting next to violet lizard with red round glasses. "Lets take a seat with them shall we." said Haley as the girls took their seats.
"Hey is this seat taken?" said Valerie. "No go ahead." said the lizard then stared at Valerie for awhile. "Thanks I'm Valerie Thompson." said Valerie putting her hand out.
"Randall Boggs." said Randall shook her hand then blushing a little. "Hey Wazoski." said Haley sitting at the other side of Mike. "Oh jeez, Haley you have my class. Great just great." said Mike sarcasm. "Ok class today you live in my zone. I make the rules and there is nothing that can scarer me." said Professor Knight. Then the dark shadow past over him and all the curtains were shut. A monster appeared fro the shadows. "Dean Hardscrabble. what pleasant surprise." said Professor Knight. I'm just here to see the faces that will be in my program." said Hardscrabble. "How about you inspire these students." said Professor Knight. "Alright I see if I can inspire them." said hardscrabble walking around the room and talked about whats makes a monster and what it takes to be a scarer. After she was done she glanced at Valerie with a curious expression and left.
"Ok now back to our lesson. Who can tell me the three basic types of roars?" said Knight and pointed to Mike who raised his up before Valerie. "That be the screeching, deep thro-" A loud roar burst interupting Mike. "Sorry when i hear someone mentioning roar i just go with it." said the big blue-purple monster. "And you must be?" said Knight. "James Sullivan." said the monster. "As in the Scarer." said Knight. "Yeah he's my dad." said Sully. "Well i expect great things from you and Ms. Thompson." said Knight pointing to Sully then at Valerie as her wolf ears went down a little slightly embarrassed. Sully clicked his tongue and did a gun shot gesture over his head. "Uh should i continue my answer, Professor." said Mike. "No Mr. Sullivan. Just Demonstrated for the class." said Knight and began teaching the class. Valerie looked at Mike as he felt upset about what happened. 'Here we go again.' she thought while she took her notebook out and write down the notes.
