Guest: Okay, whoever you are (I didn't mean to sound rude, I truly don't know who you are), thank you for your suggestions. I was thinking of what monsters should I add and your ideas are wonderful. Also, I know how much goblins and kobolds are overused, but there are reasons why it was used in this story. It was meant as a reference to Japan's overused fantasy-trope monsters, acting as a beginning trial monster for Izuku, a person with no experience in battle. So, sorry if you found it lacking creativity. I plan to introduce more monsters, but you have to give more ideas so thanks. Also, as for the hospital bills, it's from a headcanon of mine. In BNHA, hiring someone with a healing quirk is expensive due to how rare it is, and given how many casualties there are due to the existence of heroes and villains, this made medical supplies scarce, so mere checkups will be costly (*coughs* taking pages from a certain country). It may not make any sense, but it's the best explanation I could give.
A few months since the incident
UEIS Headquarters
Kaina believed that joining forces with Gang Orca in taking down HPSC was a way to redeem herself. But, it took her a while to realize that she had just traded one hell for another.
Because she's in prohibition, her job as the newest employee in UEIS is limited. She acts more like an assistant to every employee instead of a full-time employee. She didn't realize how bad it was her position was.
Assisting one employee after another in dealing with mundane tasks doesn't sound bad in her mind, but after figuring out what the mundane tasks are, she regrets everything.
Paperwork, the bane of the entire humanity. The bane that she forgot after years of being HPSC's puppet and being stuck in jail for several years.
Most of the paperwork she had to deal with as HPSC's puppet was done by HPSC's staff, something that she believes is the only good thing coming out of working under them. She has forgotten how sucks it was when she starts her hero career.
The horror strikes her like a truck claiming an isekai victim.
"This is hell..." Kaina mutters as she lays down her head on the top of the paper, dropping her pen.
"Easy there, Kaina." Kaina turned to see a familiar lizard woman lightly chuckling at her while carrying medical supplies.
"How can I when this paperwork seems to multiply every time I've cleared one stack!?" Kaina roars in annoyance before wildly waving her hand in disbelief.
"Oh, trust me, dear. It won't. I have experienced these tortures myself and let me tell you, it will never get easier." Lulu said with a chuckle as Kaina banged her forehead into the table while groaning.
"So...how's the kids?" Kaina asks Lulu.
"Oh, the usual. Training and all. Midoriya seems to no longer visit the infirmary while Kirishima ends up with fewer wounds over time." Lulu said as Kaina nodded.
"I still think Midoriya's [Skill] is bullshit. I mean, the power of an RPG character? It's broken as hell." Kaina said as Lulu chuckled.
"With what has happened in his past, I can say the [Skill] he obtains is well deserved." Lulu comments.
"...what did happen?" Kaina asks.
"If you want to know more, you should ask Midoriya himself," Lulu suggests. "It's his story to tell."
"Ah..." Kaina merely nodded before continuing her paperwork.
"...You never stop asking about their current situation yet you have been avoiding them. Why?" Lulu asks as Kaina froze before sighing.
"I try to kill them, Lulu," Kaina said. "I doubt a mere 'I'm sorry' will be enough."
"Yes, but it is a start," Lulu said. "One of my co-workers also made a mistake. Not as big as you, but still a mistake." Lulu sighs. "She ends up apologizing, and you can see how much it helps."
"...I don't think it will for our case," Kaina says as Lulu sighs.
"Why don't you try it instead of lying to yourself?" Lulu suggests. "You'll be surprised how much a simple 'I'm sorry' could do," Lulu added before she walked away.
"..." Kaina looks at her paperwork with a frown on her face, thinking of what Lulu has just said.

"Bro, you okay?" Eijirou asks as Izuku rubs his nose in annoyance.
"I'm okay..." Izuku replies with a sigh. "I thought the System would prevent me from getting cold."
"If your System follows the rules in the majority of light novels/manhwa/manga/etc, then you might require [Diseases Immunity] Passive to be immune to any disease. And from what you've shown me, you don't have it." Eijirou said as Izuku scowled before looking at his status window.

"Being kept from going into another dungeon sucks," Izuku mutters. "My level won't increases, my stats were beyond my level, and my skill levels barely increased and it's been a few months!"
"Well, let's think of it this way, we're merely junior high students who only got new powers less than a month ago, facing two highly trained assassins. Not to mention, our desires to be a hero prevent us from breaking the law, unlike most power fantasy main characters. It's not weird that your level of progress is super low." Eijirou states.
"I guess..." Izuku mutters before lying on the sand. "I never get how those main characters acts so smug the moment they start to get high level and acts like everything belongs to them, casually breaking the law like it's a mere annoyance, and so on..."
"Well, that makes you completely different from others." Eijirou says. "If you start acting like one of those people, I might get worried."
"If I do, please hit my head as hard as you can. Hit harder if I start becoming an emo." Izuku jokes as Eijirou chuckles before the two of them look at their surrounding. The junk that once covered the entire beach is all gone, something that was supposed to be impossible due to the amount of junk it has.
"I still can't believe this place was once a junkyard." Eijirou comments as Izuku shrugs.
"Yeah, and I can't believe people did such a thing in the first place..." Izuku said while rubbing his chin before he noticed a familiar pink-haired girl and looked away.
"What's wrong?" Eijirou asks.
"That girl is here..." Izuku whispers in frantic. Eijirou looks confused before he takes a peek and pales. Izuku doesn't blame his best friend's reaction, the moment she encountered Eijirou, she looked at him with a critical look before looking into his eyes and saying something so bizarre that Izuku couldn't believe she said it with a straight face.
"Would you like to make babies with me!?!?"
It was the most awkward moment in their entire life as they were unable to respond appropriately. It took a while for Izuku to remember that the girl calls her invention babies and clear the misunderstanding with Eijirou, and Izuku, despite being hesitant to even interact with her, decided to give her a chance, after his mom said that she wished he could make more friends.
Izuku had to admit, that he may have judged the girl too early because she was not completely sane and it was unfair to judge her based on his experience with Bakugou. But, at the same time, he won't get close to her.
She was rude and oblivious, the worst combination he had ever seen besides a guy with superiority and an inferiority complex. She also has no respect for other's personal space and also socially inept. But, he can't be fully mad at her since she has no idea what she did wrong, sadly talking to her is no use as she's only interested in machinery and support item ideas for heroes.
"Don't get her attention..." Izuku whispers as Eijirou nods with a slight whimper. Eijirou has a slight trauma with the girl as he is too nice and tries to befriend her. Sadly, it was at the cost of his physical and mental health, as he was treated more as a test subject and always at the receiving end of the explosions.
They intently watch as the girl picks up a few junks from the piles they made for recycling stuffs and walks away before letting out a sigh of relief.
"I face Godzillo himself in our training but she managed to scare me even more than him," Eijirou mutters while whimpering as Izuku pats his back in sympathy.
"Let's not focus too much on it. Maybe we spend our day off on this beach." Izuku suggests as Eijirou nods.
"You know, I just realized something," Eijirou said as Izuku raised his eyebrow. "For someone who feels frustrated at your progress, you didn't try to do anything rash about it."
"Spending time with my friends and family is a good thing, you know." Izuku huffs. "Sure, I can do more to level up, but I have 10 years of catching up on my life due to my obsessions with hoping to have a quirk, mending my 'relationship' with Bakugou, and all the other stuff." Izuku sighs. "I...I'm also scared that I might get obsessed with leveling up that...I push everyone away from my life."
"...and yet, you keep worrying about becoming like those system protagonists, despite being different." Eijirou chuckles as Izuku blushes a bit before they both look at the sea.
"..." Izuku gives Eijirou a small smile. "Ei..."
"Yeah?" Eijirou asks.
"...promise me, if I stray too far from my goal...stop me," Izuku said as Eijirou looked at his friend before nodding with a big grin.
"Of course!" Eijirou said. "That's what friends do!" Izuku smiles before looking at the sea. "So...you plan to invite your girlfriend again?"
"...I regret being your best friend." Izuku deadpans as Eijirou gasps dramatically.
"How could you, bro!?!?" Izuku snorts before chuckling as Eijirou joins in.
To be continued
Notes: Okay, sorry for the super late update. I have no excuses besides that Zenless Zone Zero has come out and I may have been a bit obsessed with the game, especially when building up my mono-ice team. Again, apologies.
