A/N: Hey, this should be the last chapter of the summer stuff. I do think there will be one more fluff chapter next time, mostly due to the culture festival thing, but well, that doesn't last long.

There're two lemons in this chapter, one with Cid and one of his girls then Leon and two girls… Y'know, I just realized that Cid's been doing stuff one on one while Leon has been having multiple girls the entire time.

Cid, now Shadow, and Beta both fly through the night.

Passing though a nearby forest they find the intruders that Beta had been talking about. Normally, they'd jump into just slaughtering them mercilessly, however this time Beta stops Shadow by tugging on his coat.

"Beta?" whispered Shadow.

"Lord Shadow, normally I'd like to slaughter them immediately, but this time, could you help me do something new?" whispered back Beta.

Shadow shrugs. Might as well, I try new moves on the bandits all the time, so if Beta wants to do it this time around It'd only be fair.

"What do you have in mind?" asked Shadow.

Beta smiled and pulled a notepad from her chest. She then flipped to a certain page and revealed her idea. Shadow had to admit, it was pretty cool.

-P2W-

The group of cultists began to become nervous.

"What the fuck is going on!?" screamed Cultist 1

Cultist 2 would scream back, "Be quiet!"

Their leader would knock both of them on the heads, "Focus. This is no time for arguing. Scout, how far are we from the location now?"

"I can't tell," responded the Cultist scout.

"What?" grunted the leader.

"I can't tell!" yelled the scout. "It's like we've been going in some kind of maze, the trees and other landmarks are somehow moving us into different locations!"

The third cultists would throw his hands up in frustration, "Those damn knife ears must've made deals with the forest spirits or some other stupid shit! We'd better go back where we came from, because we aren't prepared for this shit!"

The leader shakes his head, "You know that if we don't complete the mission today we won't have anywhere to go but an early grave. We have to press on. Start cutting down the trees or lighting them on fire if you have to, we don't have the resources to deal with a prolonged mission."

The scout begins to take out some matches before he stops.

"What's wrong," asked cultist 1.

"Do you hear that?" responded the scout.

The group strains their ears and begins to hear something. A woman, she appears to be singing.

"There's no way that dawn doesn't break~ But I thought that it didn't have to break~"

The cultists follow the sound of the voice, mesmerized.

"Because scars I want to hide~ memories I want to forget~ The sun shines down on all of them~"

The group of cultists walks into a seaside cave finding a figure sitting on a rock surrounded by water.

"No way…" gasped Cult member 2

As they get closer they see a silver haired woman singing with her eyes closed, she's beautiful. Beautiful as her singing. Fantastical even, given that she seems to not have any legs, and instead has the bottom of a fish. It's a mermaid.

"I was wandering in search of a shooting star~" sings Beta, disguised as a mermaid, seashell bra and everything replicated by slime, "Until I met you~"

As the rest of the group finds themselves mesmerized and stepping closer and closer, the leader makes an observation. The floor they're stepping on is sticky.

Beta smirks.

"What the!?" shrieks Cultist 1

The floor begins to grab at the Cultists, making them unable to run away, they try and fall on their faces.

The scout shouts, "You Bi-"

*Crunch*

Before the scout can finish his statement, he finds his head reduced to nothing. Everyone then looks to the figure grinding his shoe into where the scout's head used to be.

"You shall comply with our orders, less you wish to find yourself face a similar fate." Stated Shadow.

The cultists all nod.

-Cid-

We ended up turning the bandits we found into some of the numbers when we returned to the hotel (through a back entrance because that's the Eminence in Shadow way) so I didn't get to really delve too deeply into why they were here. Something about Mitsugoshi making too much money for a business ran by sub-humans or something.

But that's kind of weird, considering that most of those guys aside from the one guy whose skull I stomped in were subhuman too. I think their leader was the only other one who wasn't an elf or therianthrope.

I suppose they were all male, even counting the other groups of people that I captured while moving around the trees and other landmarks. I don't pay too much attention to politics, just enough to figure out the main character's story arcs (anything else I can leave to Leon). But from what I've seen there seem to be way more male elves than female ones, and it's actually extremely rare to see female elves outside of their home villages or those elven sanctuaries. The only exception is currently the people who work for Mitsugoshi. Maybe there's some kind of extreme sexism culture going on with the demi-humans? I wonder if it's like the opposite of what's going on in Holfort, where the men are treated like trash while they're younger until they get past the academy age and find out that most of the people that made fun of them peaked there.

Gotta say, though, Beta's idea to distract the men by taking the role of a mysterious fairy tale creature was pretty cool. It even gave me the chance to try out my new slime suit technique: hands from hell (glue trap). This did kind of let me do some Eminence in Shadow stuff too, although…

I guess it's because I'm starting to fall for the girls, but when that guy was about to call Beta a bitch I got so damn angry. I couldn't control it. I was planning on letting the girls interrogate the bandits for more information, and the scout looking guy would probably have more to give. But… that rage…

Maybe I should talk to Leon about stuff like this, Pops probably doesn't know anything about it. Being overcome by emotions isn't very Eminence in Shadow… but what if the heroes need a way to defeat me… hm…

"Cid? Are you okay?" asked Beta with a worried look.

She also looks really pretty like this, and I'm not just saying that because I'm holding her in my hands. She hadn't taken off all of the mermaid costume, it took a bit to set up perfectly actually. I admired the dedication to the role, plus it let me play with the surroundings while she set it up.

"I'm… fine." I manage. It's not untrue, but for all the training I've put myself through to control every aspect of my body and mind to fall in love and lose some of it…

"You know you can talk to us about anything right?" said Beta as she moved my face in her direction, "I… I love listening to you, and even if that's mostly stories, if you tell me something I would hang on to your every word."

I smile, "I know Beta. It's… some guy stuff. I'll bring it up if it's too much, just leave me to it okay?"

Beta nodded. Phew, didn't think that would work in reverse.

Beta then took out a notebook from chest (no idea how I didn't see it before) and started to write again.

Hm…

"Come to think of it," I say, getting Beta's attention, "What's that you've been writing? I've always assumed it was some notes for the other girls, but I think I saw a few pages with dialogue on it."

Beta immediately shuts the notebook and holds it close to her massive chest. Which, given that it's only covered by some clam styled seashells, the motion is doing some rather enticing things.

I don't let that distract me (for more than a few seconds) and come up with a plan in 0.2 seconds. I ignore it for a bit, walk back to my room with her in my arms acting as though I dropped it. Beta didn't even have time to sigh in relief as I dropped her onto the bed, and when she bounced she flailed her arms allowing me to very quickly snatch the notebook from her chest.

"W-Wait! Cid! Don't!" fretted Beta as she was stuck flailing because she still had the mermaid tail on.

I quickly walk over to the other end of the room and flip to the first page of the book. 'Chronicles of Master Shadow Vol 19.'

"Noooooo~" whined Beta as she crawled in my direction. I merely started to cling to the ceiling.

We continue like this for a little bit as I work though it. From what I could tell it was the recounting of everything since the duel to now.

It was a story about me.

It was a story that depicted me as The Eminence in Shadow.

"This is…" I whispered.

Beta began to whimper.

"Incredible!" I boomed.

"Eh?" said Beta as she sniffled.

I drop from my spot on the ceiling and pull Beta into a big hug, twirling her around a bit. "BETA! You've been chronicling my deeds!? Magnificent! Incredible!"

"It is?" hesitantly asked Beta.

"Of course it is! This is so cool, you should have told me sooner… no, it's better that you didn't. I would have been too much of a perfectionist. Tell me does anyone else know about these?" I asked with glee.

Beta started poking her two fingers together while giving me puppy dog eyes, "um… most of Shadow Garden? It's an exclusive novel for-"

I begin to cackle with glee, "SUBARASHI!"

I then immediately took Beta in my arms and ran around the hotel, her giggling gleefully the entire time, as we looked for copies of volumes 1-18 from some of the other members. We ended up reading to each other the entire night, with Beta making me promise to borrow a drone or something from Leon to record me reading it out loud for her.

It was nice. We ended up falling asleep on the bed together surrounded by books.

I fell asleep for a full night for the first time in months, as I figured that Beta and the girls wouldn't like it if I slipped out in the middle of the night. I guess my body needed me to sleep for a while though, because I ended up sleeping later than Beta by a good bit. Or at least that would explain why I woke up to her doing stuff instead of waking up at the slightest movement like usual.

A/N: This is the Cid and Beta Lemon

Cid wakes up to a morning surprise from Beta

A/N: Okay Lemon's over.

It takes me a bit of effort, but I manage to separate from Beta and get ready for the day. I cleaned her up a bit and tucked her in before leaving my room.

I quickly went down to get something to eat and was greeted by the other 6 of the seven shades. They apparently all had a good idea of what was going on.

We ended up spending the next week together.

It was fun, each day I'd wake up see one of the seven, go to bed with one of them, and then just enjoy hanging out with them. We did all sorts of stuff, like family games, swim contests, watermelon smashing, fishing, you name it.

It reminded me of the good old days when we first started the Shadow Garden, and for once we didn't have to worry about the lore or anything. Like, of course I wanted to do some Eminence in Shadow stuff but I was on vacation. I figured that I'd just let the girls have the time off while I secretly trained. Plus…

Something about seeing the girls like this… acting like normal young adults their age… made me really happy.

I thought that the entire break would be like this.

But then on the 8th day, as I left my room, I bumped into someone.

"Ah, sorry." I said.

The woman shook her head of white hair, "No it's okay, I wasn't looking at where I was going either… Poochie?"

"Geh! Sorry you have the wrong person!" I said before running off.

How did Alexia get here?! Did Gamma invite her over for business reasons? Or was it, Leon? Wait, where is Leon? If Alexia's here that means it's about the time that the others should show up right?

-Leon-

I sat down calmly in the room where we usually receive the old hag. The same room that she tried to just wave me off and send me and my little brother to our graves in the same way she'd order a servant to bring her food. Angie and Deirdre sit down on either side of me, trying to keep me calm. Livia stands behind the couch we're sitting on, her hand on my shoulder to let me know she's with me too.

We stay still for a few minutes as the old hag makes a racket downstairs. I wanted to confront her right away, but Dad said he'd do his best to try and drive her away himself first. I love my dad, but I don't think he's ever been capable of that. At best he'd let himself be hit a couple of times before she'd get bored and leave.

Suddenly the shouting gets louder as the source of much of the trauma I've faced in life gets closer. I feel like I'm waiting for a jumpscare or something.

But.

I'm not afraid this time.

I'm not the scared little kid afraid of getting hit.

I'm not the little kid that cried himself to sleep because the old witch was on her way.

I'm not going to tolerate her shit anymore.

"BRAT!" roared Zola as she entered the room, "HOW DARE YOU TAKE THE THRONE! IF ANY ONE OF OUR CHILDREN SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE THRONE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN RUTART! YOU WILL FLY US BACK TO THE CAPITAL, RELINQUISH IT TO HIM, AND THEN GIVE YOUR LOST ITEMS LIKE YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE ALL THOSE YEARS AGO!"

I stare at the old baboon. She's huffing and puffing, glaring at me and baring her teeth. I feel Angie and Deirdre grip my hands to comfort me. But I don't need it.

I look at Zola, and smile.

She flinches.

"It's nice to see you too, Zola. Care to introduce yourself or shall I handle it?" I asked.

Zola seethes but doesn't yell, dad probably tanked most of the shouting from earlier, and she simply continues to talk with venom in her voice, "Why should I care about some random floozies you probably bought with the money that should belong to me!"

I nod, and then introduce all of my lovers, "I'll ignore that once, Zola. In any case, these are my lovers Olivia, Deirdre Fou Roseblade, and Angelica Rapha Redgrave."

Zola flinches again.

"Greetings, Zola." Said Angelica with a lack of any emotion in her voice, "My fiancé Leon has told us much about you."

Zola sneers, "Fiancé? Surely you could do better. If it's for political gain, then my son Rutart would be a much better choice."

Angelica continues to deadpan, "And why would you say that?"

Zola smiles, although I wouldn't call the expression pleasant to the eyes, "Why my Rutart is the picture of perfection. He's been raised in the capital all his life and would do so much more good as the ruler of our kingdom than some runt from a lowly barony."

Angelica raises one brow, "The barony you are in charge of you mean?"

Zola's eye twitches.

"Hm…" hums Deirdre, "Come to think of it, why is the barony in this condition anyway? From what I can tell Balcus and Nicks are rather competent leaders of their territory and well-liked by the community."

Livia even joined in with a fake as hell sad sigh, "Oh I heard that Zola's needed all the money in the capital, for something important that a poor commoner girl like me could never understand of course."

Zola attempted to get up, but I—and I imagine Angie and Deirdre as well—glared at her forcing her to stay still in fear.

I then began to laugh. How could I not?

"What's so funny!" demanded Zola.

"My entire life I've been scared of you, but you really can't do a damn thing to me anymore." I say as I rise and start slowly walking towards Zola, "No one wants you here. Rutart is a complete failure without any kind of backing because everyone knows how much of a spoiled brat he is. But hey if you do want to ever challenge me for the throne?"

The light from outside is replaced by the red glow of Arroganz's eyes.

"Why not do it the same way Julius did?" I said.

Zola leaves quickly.

As soon as I heard her leave the house I sat down.

I think I broke down laughing.

Or maybe just broke down.

But… I had the girls with me. And they were there for me.

-Olivia-

Leon ended up falling asleep soon after, so we had Nicks help carry him to Partner so we could leave on time. I didn't help as much as Deirdre and Angie did while Zola was still there, but when she left, I was the one he fell asleep on.

As mean as it feels to say, I enjoyed how envious Angie and Deirdre looked at us. My shirt was full of tears, but my face was full of smug. Luckily Leon was more relieved than upset so I only had to worry about tears. Part of me wanted to keep the shirt as a reminder of the first time Leon felt comfortable enough to cry with us though…

"Luxion, is there a way to preserve this shirt as is?" I asked with a whisper.

[I do not understand why you would do so, but yes. Is this another thing I shall keep secret from Master Leon?]

I nod.

"Livia…" muttered Angie with a deadpan look in her eyes.

Hey! Don't look at me like that! You would do the same thing if you could! I know Ann would!

Since we were going to leave soon the girls and I decided to use the opportunity of Leon being passed out to take one last dip in the hot springs. While soaking a thought occurred.

"…We're really lucky that Claire isn't here." I remarked.

Angie and Deirdre both nod.

"Where is she anyway? Weren't we going to meet her here?" asked Deirdre.

Angie turned to Deirdre to answer, "See, we never really knew when Zola was going to come. We had hoped that she might just stay in the capital or get here after we left, but when we heard that Zola was coming today Leon sent Luxion to intercept Claire's ship and have her head straight to Cid's new resort. Partly due to the fact that we believed she may cause trouble, but also because she was going to bring someone with her."

"Oh?" said Deirdre.

I nod, "Mhm. Claire mentioned she was going to bring a friend, and we weren't sure who since everyone else was already away. The only person we could think of she might hang out with is Merce, so we didn't want to start anything in front of her."

Deirdre began to think at my words before responding, "Merce… Merce… wait, I think I heard she was friends with Clarice. She joined her in dungeon diving."

This surprises Angie and me.

"Oh, huh. I wonder who Claire's bringing then." I wonder.

None of us can really figure it out so we just shrug and continue with the last bath.

As we come out and relax among the bamboo garden that Leon set up, he walks up to us.

He smiles at the sight of Angie and Deirdre cuddling up to me. With a laugh he asks, "How come you girls come out to the hot springs every day, we have baths in the house and on Partner."

"It's not a place you can visit every day." Angie smiles, before pulling at her sleeves to show her arms, "and I think it's doing wonders for the skin."

I giggle as I touch my own face, "My skin has felt so soft and smooth since I came here!"

Leon begins to look up and adopts that expression he has whenever he thinks about money. Angie and I roll our eyes as he shouts, "Alright! I'll make a killing off of this!"

Deirdre giggles, "You sound like you're planning to be a merchant rather than a king there Leon."

I notice Angie lean over to me and begin to touch my face with one hand while hugging my body with the other. It feels really nice and I lean into her.

"Your skin is so fair," said Angie as she fretted over me, "I'm jealous of you Livia."

I giggled as I responded, "I could say the same about you Angie! Your hair and skin are so beautiful, I wish I were you."

"Livia." Cooed Angie.

"Angie." I responded.

Angie and I nuzzled our faces as we cuddled. I eventually opened my eyes to see Leon watching us with a weird look on his face. I open one of my arms to welcome him in. He tries to say he's fine, so Angie and I immediately get up and chase him down. Deirdre joins in and we fall to the ground cuddling Leon. He has the biggest smile on his face, he tries to hide it but his efforts are rendered futile in the face of our affection.

Eventually we get off the ground and start walking back towards Partner. As we do, Deirdre takes one of Leon's arms and Angie and I walk in front.

Angie laughs and remarks, "I never would have guessed I'd end up like this."

Concerned I ask, "What do you mean? Angie's a wonderful woman."

Angie smiles bitterly, "Your words make me happy. You all make me happy… yet… some part of me still feels empty."

Angie…

I guess that with all our planning, our relationship, and the whole previous life stuff it was easy to forget, but Angie really had gone through a lot. She must have really loved Julius. She loves Leon even more, but that doesn't mean she never loved Julius either. I really don't get how Julius could pass up Angie though, she has no demi-human lovers, she's beautiful, and she's earnest…

"I'm the worst…" mutters Angie, "I can't stop thinking about getting revenge. Even though Julius may not be the crown prince, even though he was soundly beaten by Leon, even though I'm so much more happier with you all than I was without, I still feel… bitter inside."

I stop and give Angie the biggest hug I can muster, and Deirdre soon joins in.

"Come now," remarks Deirdre, "You shouldn't talk down about yourself like that. Of course you'd still have some lingering feelings of resentment."

Leon begins to chuckle, which worries and comforts me at the same time.

"I don't see anything with wanting revenge." Said Leon with a shrug, horrifying me but intriguing Angie, "You want revenge? Say no more! Let's pull out all the stops!"

I'm shocked and shout, "How could you say such things, Leon!"

Angie gets closer to Leon, "Is it okay… to take revenge?"

"Let's do it!" said Leon with a big thumbs up.

I begin to lightly punch Leon's chest, although he simply laughs and hugs me in response.

"You can't!" I insist as I struggle against Leon's chest… I wonder if this is what he feels when he hugs his face against ours… wait no! "Don't make Angie do such things!"

Leon pets my hair and I begin to melt as he talks, "You can't just expect her to 'get over it,' can you?"

I pout, "You're right but…"

"Besides," said Leon as he pushed me away a little bit so that I could look him in the eyes, "I've told you this before. That I know the most amazing way to get revenge."

Angie has stars in her eyes as she comes up to the both of us, "R-Really!?"

"Angie, don't get so excited!" I fret.

But Leon manages to do what he does best and comforts us with his words, "The greatest act of revenge in the world is to attain your own happiness."

Angie thinks about it for a couple of seconds before recalling, "Plan E, Envy. You said this then."

Leon nods, "Right. Look this is the way I see it. First off, ruining someone's life takes tremendous amounts of effort, and even if you get revenge that way, you're left with nothing yourself. Rather than wasting your time like that it's better to use it to improve your life."

Angie and I begin to smile, but Deirdre can't help but ask, "But… is that even considered revenge?"

"There's a thing known in the world as 'karma'" responded Leon, "Julius and the others will definitely get what's coming to them and face the harsh realities of life eventually. Hell, I told Marie she had to work this summer paying off a certain amount of her debt to me before she could go and do anything else, so those bastards are probably helping her with that right now."

…I feel a little bad for them. They deserve it, but still.

Angie rubs the sides of her arms and looks away as she asks, "… would me attaining happiness even be considered revenge?"

Leon then wraps his arms around all of us again, "Of course! This time around we're going to make you so happy that Julius will be jealous and lament that he never could have made you this happy! If he ever develops common sense he'll be crawling back to you and begging for you to go back to him."

Angie nods and adopts a determined look, "Y-You're right…! I'm going to be so damn happy that no one will recognize me!"

I can't help but smile, "In that case, I'll be cheering for you too! Angie, let's work together to get your revenge!"

"Me as well," said Deirdre, "You can count on me to be in your corner dear Angelica!"

We all cheered and then headed towards Partner, Luxion promising to head towards the resort as fast as he could. After all, nothing would rub it in that stupid ex-prince's face how much happier Angie is now than how she got to go to a resort surrounded by friends and loved ones while he was stuck paying off a debt.

-P2W-

Meanwhile, Alexia finds herself left behind at the hotel…

"*pant* *pant* Where did he go? He's one fast runner!" said Alexia as she ran through the halls, "If he's hiding in a room, I'll never be able to find him. What should I do?"

Just then, the door to a nearby room opens, and Alexia hears a familiar voice.

"*Giggle* Well then, guess I'll go for a swim today." Said Beta as she swayed back and forth happily.

"Huh…" remarked Alexia, "Natsume… I guess you would be here."

"…Hm? Did someone say 'Natsume'…" Beta stops in place as she ponders slowly turning in the direction of Alexia. As soon as she sees her she jumps up in surprise, "Wh-Whoa! It's the catty princess…I mean, Princess Alexia! What're you doing here?!"

Alexia begins to twirl her hair, "…I was invited."

Beta stomps her foot, almost falling due to not having much strength in her legs at the moment, but getting back up and saying "No you weren't! I know for a fact Luna didn't give you an invitation!"

"This isn't the time to argue about this, I need to report to Claire immediately!" said Alexia.

"Eh?" said Beta as she thought Sh-She's here with Lady Claire?! Lady Claire did you invite this… this… Argh! I was having such a good day!... Anyway, I wouldn't want any trouble when Cid's going to be busy all day with the other shades, I'll need to act cautiously until everything's ready.

As Beta was pondering to herself Alexia happily left.

"Ah!" said Beta as she noticed Alexia running away from her at full speed, "…and she's gone. I should get someone to help me distract her from the rest… Oh, I think Epsilon's nearby, so I should ask her for help!"

Outdoors, as Cid thought he was a safe distance away from Alexia he started to walk along the shore.

"Hmm." Hummed Cid, "I think the girls had plans today, so it'd be hard to just keep running like this. Guess I'll have to give up and head back to my dorm for the time being. Al-"

Before Cid can finish his thought, he hears a voice.

"Finally… found you…"

Cid slowly turned his head and saw his sister with her arms crossed, her chest heaving from exhaustion, and her face in a big pout.

"Found… you…" panted Claire.

"Ah." Remarked Cid. "You guys were showing up today, huh?"

Unfortunately, Claire heard that last bit and started to return to her bro-con ways.

"Ciiiiiiiiiid…" drawled Claire in a voice that reminded Cid of a horror movie monster, "You didn't forget about the promise you made with your big sis, did you?"

This is bad. Thought Cid, I really don't remember… She must be referring to some promise I agreed to without thinking…

"O-Of course not. Um…" Cid began to do his best to think quickly, "Was it about giving you a present?"

Claire pouted with her hands on her hips, "…I do want a present, but that's not it."

Shit, where's Leon! He's supposed to be here to distract her! Thought Cid.

"Really? I've made you so many promises that it's hard to know which you're talking about. Oh, was it to treat you to something yummy?" said Cid.

Claire begins to wave her arms angrily, "…that would be nice as well, but no! You totally don't remember, do you!?"

Cid backs up nervously, "Wait! I'll remember it! Just give me a second!"

Ack! Thought Cid, I'm being totally strong-armed here! What the heck do I do?!

Cid would think about it for a little bit longer, backing up from his sister as she followed him step by step, until he came to a conclusion.

Looks like I'll have to use… my last resort! Affirmed Cid.

"Look you invited me here and promised me we'd spend some sibling time together! I am not going to put up with your-" said Claire before she was cut off.

For the first time—that anyone's seen anyway—Cid Kagenou begins to shout back.

"E-Enough already!" yelled Cid.

This catches Claire off guard and suddenly she's the one backing up with a loud "Huh!?"

Cid glares at Claire with an uncharacteristically harsh expression.

"What's with the sudden attitude?" asked Claire nervously.

Cid shook his head still glaring, "…I'm an adult now. I'm not a kid anymore who always plays with his big sister. You know this place is run by the women I love, women who I plan on spending time with. I invited you here because we're family and I wanted to be nice, not for you to try and boss me around again!"

"I never meant to…" whimpered Claire.

"I don't believe you! I want to graduate from playing with family already! Hanging out with friends or on my own is more fun, and you have your own friends too!" shouted Cid.

"B-But we used to have so much fun together!" insisted Claire, "What's gotten into you all of a sudden? My baby brother would never act like this!"

"I told you, I'm an adult now! Don't say anything more… or I'll…" growled Cid

Claire began to panic, "Hey! Stop! Don't say it! Cid… would you really ha…hate your big sister?"

While Claire began to tear up Cid merely thought to himself: Ooh… It's working! I call this technique 'Teenage Rebellion,' the side character's hidden technique! Heh! I never thought I'd have to resort to such measures…

"*Sniffle* hate me…? Oh, Cid…" whimpered Claire as she stretched a hand out to Cid.

Cid shook himself out of his reverie before (very lightly) slapping away Claire's hand, making her recoil like she'd just been burned.

Cid then began talking while not looking at Claire, "Well… I'm going. D-Don't follow me! A-And knock before coming into my room!"

Taking advantage of Claire's hesitation, Cid disappears.

Left to herself, Claire begins to cry a little. "He… hates me…"

As she sniffles to herself, she finds herself with company.

"I wouldn't say that." Said a familiar masculine voice.

Claire looked over to see a six pack, er, that is her friend and future lover Leon.

"He's probably just hit his rebellious phase I'm sure he'll spend some time with his fiancés and then cool down and apologize later. Happened all the time with Finely and Jenna when they got older." Reassured Leon.

"Pwomise…?" said Claire.

Leon briefly fought a blush before nodding.

"Yeah, now c'mon, let's go see what we can do around this place!" cheered Leon as he led Claire away.

-Cid-

I watch as Claire is handled by the guy I'm pretty sure was put on this planet for the job. Like seriously I never really considered how well they get along, I just like making fun of Claire. I sometimes worry about how much I'd have to deal with Claire if it weren't for him.

"Cid…" said Alpha as she leaned on top of me to peer from the same wall I was, "You don't really hate Lady Claire, do you?"

I shake my head easily, "Nah, but I promised all of you I'd spend time with you when I can. We spent time together as a group this entire time, but you all said something about being one on one right?"

Alpha smiles and pecks me on my forehead, giving me a warm and fuzzy feeling that doesn't suit me as an Eminence in Shadow, but I guess since this is the fan-service arc it's fine… It's not like it's going to get any worse right?

"I'm going to help Beta and Epsilon distract the non-shadow garden members for now, go spend time with the other shades, okay?" said Alpha.

I nod and watch her walk away… I don't really look away till I detect someone behind me.

"Cid?" asked Gamma.

I quickly and discreetly hit myself with a 'bufu' before getting up.

"Yo, Luna. Am I spending time with you first today?" I asked with the most nonchalant smile I can muster.

Gamma smiles and grabs my arm as she leads me to the hotel, "Yes, right this way."

-Gamma-

I recall the words shared between the shades last night after Cid went to bed.

If we all are together Cid will feel like he's spending time with a family. So, we need to divide to conquer his heart, commanded Alpha, Everyone who's already spent one on one time with Cid will go last. Meaning, I, Delta, and Epsilon will go after all of you. Make sure to give your most sincere expressions of affection, pull out all the stops you can. We should each get about an hour and a half, don't put it to waste.

We then had played seven shade rock paper scissors to have the right to sleep next to Cid. Since Beta won the rest of us drew lots on who got to spend time with Cid.

The order ended up being as such :1 Gamma (Me) 2 Zeta 3 Eta 4 Delta 5 Epsilon 6 Beta 7 Alpha.

Alpha was actually rather insistent on going last. It took Eta shouting in the middle of the night with the realization of why for me to get it. The rest of us were thankful to know but wanted to sleep so we all hit her in the head with a pillow.

I take a look at Cid as we cross into a large gallery I had designed for him and smile. He smiles back so I begin the strategy:

SPOIL HIM ROTTEN!

I clear my throat discretely and begin to welcome him as I had planned, "Welcome my lord today is your- PGYAH!"

I trip but thanks to having been holding on to Cid he catches me before I hit the floor.

I smile gratefully and continue, "*Ahem* It's hard w-walking in these heels… Today we shall heal you of your daily stress my lord. A-and I look forward to having a chat with you"

I attempt to walk again as I motion for Cid to join me at a nearby table. I trip so he has to catch me again, but I recover mentally soon after.

Taking a deep breath, I clap my hands and rows of maids join the two of us, some of them bring food and prep the table. However, as I instructed, they only bring one set of utensils.

"Cid…" I breathe his name like I need it more than air, "Will… will you allow me to feed you your breakfast today? You always do so much for all of us… I'd like to serve you personally for once."

Cid nods, and though it's very slight, I can see a bit of red on the tips of his ears.

I smile ear to ear myself as I sit down on his lap. As I begin to reach for some eggs I hear Cid chuckle, "Try not to poke me in the eyes."

I can't help but pout and whine a bit "I'm not that bad~!"

Cid continues to chuckle and kisses behind my ears as an apology. I accepted it as I began to feed him. It's slow, taking 30 minutes in total, but I enjoy it so much. The idea of Cid, whom I met as the indomitable Lord Shadow, being so sweet and submissive to me…

*Sigh…*

But that wasn't it.

After cleaning his mouth, I clapped my hands again. The maids moved us, chair and all (Cid even cheered quietly like an excited child as we were quickly moved, so cute!) to another room.

"A casino?" asked Cid, hopefully in awe.

I smile, "I know how much you love extravagance, and while I of course, would give you anything you desired whenever you desired it… I thought perhaps you'd like to earn your prize this time around."

Cid rubbed his chin with a smile, intrigued. "I see… Are we betting money here?"

I shake my head. With a cue from me, Nu walks in, wearing a bunny suit. She's blushing harshly but enjoying how Cid looks at her. Too embarrassed to say anything she presents a tray with custom chips on it.

I divide them between Cid and I. He inspects the chips. There're 7 colors, but each of them have something other than a price written on them.

They are divided as such:

White-Compliment

Red- Hand Holding

Blue- Hug

Green- Cuddling

Black- Kiss

Purple- Make out

Gold- Free Request

Cid levels a smirk my way, and I feel myself flush with embarrassment. However, I stick to my guns and have Nu begin to deal.

As expected, we went from having an even number of coins to Cid all but cleaning me out. The only thing that saved me from 'going bankrupt' was that my time was up.

"I look forward to cashing these in" whispered Cid directly in my ear, making me melt in my seat and need to be dragged back to my room by Nu.

-Zeta-

Lord Shadow-

Geh

I mean, Cid, has always been a someone I've looked up to. I… I worship him, I'd argue I'm the most devoted towards him.

I'd do anything for him, suffer anything for him, he would only need to give the word.

Except for this.

"This is Zetan," Introduced Cid to his friends Olivia, Deirdre, and Angelica, "She's going through her rebellious phase so sorry in advance if she's a bit rude."

I want so badly to protest but I know it'd only prove him right.

"Rebellious phase?" chuckled Angelica, "You make it sound like you raised her."

Alice shows up out of nowhere and adds to my embarrassment, "Essentially, yes. The girls viewed me as something of an older sister and relied on me to learn how to cook, clean, and everything else."

"Aww… that sounds so nice." Said Olivia. Lord Cid often says that Olivia is likely the next Saintess, but her next comment makes me believe she's as much of a Saintess as Victoria, "If Alice is the oldest does that mean the rest of the girls call you Onee-Chan?"

I feel my ears and tail twitch as Alice smirks at me so quickly only I and Cid could pick up on it, before adopting a sad look and shaking her head.

"Or how about Alice-nee-sama?" offered Angelica.

"Sigh, no." said Alpha.

Cid chuckles before over exaggeratingly sighing over to Alice, "Sigh, where did we go wrong? What happened to that little girl that gave everyone a nick name and followed us around everywhere?"

"H-Hey!" I cried.

Alpha begins to fake cry, "I'm a terrible mother!"

As Olivia, Deirdre, and Angelica laugh, I get frustrated and decide to just grab Cid and run off. I can feel the others smiling at us as we leave.

I eventually sat Cid down on the roof, where I managed to hide a lounge chair and umbrella. I force him to lie down and cuddle up to him.

"Pet me." I demand.

Cid complies with another laugh, making sure to get rid of my anger by getting that nice spot behind my ears and slowly stroking my tail.

"What is this place anyway?" asked Cid.

"A little spot I made for some peace and quiet in case the others become too much." I explain as I do my best to rub my scent onto my master.

"…And you're okay with me knowing where it is?" asked Cid with this tone of voice that I don't think I've heard him use before.

It was nice to hear.

I sat up and gave Cid a kiss before quickly going back down so he couldn't see me blush. I feel him start to pet me again, and somehow it feels even better than before.

"Who's a good kitty?" he says in his Lord Shadow voice.

"Me…" I purr.

I would fall asleep like that and ended waking up in Cid's room.

-Eta-

I do not often get many chances to be alone with Cid. Especially since we were allowed to express our affection for him.

In the 'normal' way at least. Alpha said that it wasn't allowed for me to experiment on him without permission… and that she'd be mad even if I had permission.

Because of that I didn't have many ideas on what to do with my time alone with Cid. Uuuuuu

"Eta?" asked Cid as he carried me. "Do you need help figuring out what to do?"

Ashamed, I nodded. Cid then put me down, only holding me with one arm right now. I snuggled into him, seeking comfort. He used his other arm to stroke his chin.

"Hmm…" said Cid before looking over at me, "Y'know, usually I give you shadow wisdom and leave you to it, but how about this time we work on something together?"

Shadow Wisdom!

I can't nod fast enough.

"Very well, listen closely Eta, this is important." Said Cid.

Master would then go on to describe these objects meant for recreation known as a 'surf board' meant for 'surfing' as well as a variation with a sail attached meant for 'windsurfing.'

I was tired after finishing our prototypes, so Cid began to carry me around again, using wind and water magic to make the necessary waves within the lake so that we can enjoy the product of our work. It took us roughly 30 minutes to make the boards, while we enjoyed them for the very short hour we had together.

Eventually, Cid found himself separating from me, giving me a kiss to the forehead that made me smile uncontrollably, and heading back to the beach where Epsilon and Beta had been playing a game of flag capture with Claire, Leon, Deirdre, Angelica, and Olivia.

I had thought Epsilon and Beta were also going to distract Princess Alexia, I wonder where she is.

-Alpha-

I stare at the white-haired woman in front of me, and she trembles much like the rabbits she resembles. Perhaps it is cruel of me to exert some pressure on this civilian, but I am still rather peeved at how she had been the first one to start dating Cid. It may have been for a specific purpose but…

I am supposed to be first.

If I am not first, then at least if it is a Shade.

But I was the first.

I am meant to be by his side.

I carry out his will.

I am supposed to be the first.

"M-miss Alice…?" stuttered the very afraid Alexia. She did her best not to show it, which I can commend somewhat, but the stuttering and trembling are a bit too obvious.

"Why don't you try this tea Princess Alexia, it is very delicious." I say with a smile.

Alexia tries to refuse, "I-I'm good-"

"I insist." I say with authority.

Alexia does her best to drink the tea quickly as possible, she spills a bit as her hand is shaking.

Heh.

I believe I'm enjoying this.

I continue my assault by talking while Alexia is taking a long sip, "So, would I be correct in assuming that you are in love with Cid?"

I shield my face with wind magic when Alexia spits out the tea she was drinking at my statement, making it hit her face rather than mine.

"W-W-W-W-W-WHAT!?" Spluttered Alexia as she did her best to talk while scalded, "What are on earth- I mean- No- I mean- Yes- I mean…"

I sip my own tea with my pinkie extended and a smirk on my face while I watch the witch melt under the pressure.

Eventually Alexia gets herself clean and slumps forward, her arms resting on her legs with her head hanging. "…Yes. I like him."

"You like him, do you?" I place my teacup down, the sound ringing through the very silent room, "Well I love him. More than anyone could ever really know. More than I could ever really find the words to say. So, believe me when I say that I am not very inclined to entertain this little crush of yours."

Alexia opens her mouth, likely to say something along the lines of 'I am the princess of Midgar' or something similar, but she has no power here.

"I care not for your position right now, and I imagine that your little crush first started when you realized that Cid doesn't either. In fact, I'll go ahead and state this: Cid has no interest in becoming king. He loves money, yes, but he wishes to live a simple and easy life, this business was something the rest of us did without his involvement. We have been using it to spoil him, yes, but that is because we love him and believe he deserves the best." I said easily, as though I hadn't just spewed out the words this moment.

Alexia looked up at me, looking like a very sad puppy. However, I am used to dealing with Delta and Zeta, and they were much more adorable as children.

But I'll acknowledge that I shouldn't out right cut all ties to Alexia, unless Cid gives the command, so I dial it back a little bit, "Cid considers you a friend. I shall acknowledge that. As I am not yet wed to him," I make sure to show off my promise ring as I emphasize the 'yet,' Alexia flinching as a result. "I have no right to stop him from keeping you as a friend. But know that if you wish to be anything more, you'd need to change Cid's feelings from begrudging tolerance to returning what you feel, and even then you'd need the approval of everyone else."

Alexia digested my words for a bit. I drank tea while she was silent.

"…How do I get your approval?" asked Alexia hesitantly.

I set the teacup down again, much more quietly than last time, and answer honestly, "Get everyone else's."

Alexia dismisses herself soon after, and I leave as well.

I notice that the sun has long since set, meaning it's likely my turn with Cid now. I glance at a few of the maids, and they gesture towards the west exit, in the direction of the pier. I saw Cid, Leon, Angelica, Delta, and Olivia there. As I get closer, I see that Delta is taking a nap—cutely snuggling up to her tail while resting on Cid's lap—while Leon walks up with a few fishing rods and a bucket of bait.

Leon opens the bucket and immediately I see Angelica back up and fall into the water.

Delta perks up at the sound and sees Angelica and helps her back up easily.

"Eugh! What is that?!" shrieks Angelica.

Olivia and Delta both hold up some of the worms, and Olivia explains with a smile, "They're worms! People usually use them as bait."

"You can touch that?!" shrieked Angelica with clear disgust in her voice.

"It's fine, here nano-desu" said Delta as she started to walk up to Angelica while holding the worm. For every step Delta took towards her Angelica took one back. Eventually Olivia and Leon had smiles on their faces that showed mischief and they each took up a worm and began to chase Angelica.

"N-Noooooooo!" Cried Angelica as Leon, Olivia, and Delta chased her off with worms and mischievous smiles.

"Cid" I call out to the man who was too zoned out to notice the commotion.

"Oh," said Cid as he came to life like a puppet on strings, He notices that we're alone again and continues, "Alpha. Is it finally your turn again?"

I sit down behind Cid as he casts a line.

"I suppose so, did you spend time with everyone else already?" I asked.

Cid nods with a chuckle, and it's slight but underneath the moonlight I can see him blush. Without a word uttered yet, I can tell: mission accomplished.

"Yeah… yeah. I'm honestly feeling a bit bad with how much you girls spoiled me today. *Chuckle* I guess I should try to return the favor somehow, but I have no idea how." Admitted Cid sheepishly.

I do my best to hide my overjoyed expression by nuzzling into his shoulder. We sat like that for a little bit, and eventually I see him let loose the fish he caught.

"You're letting them go?" I asked, "They would've been delicious when grilled."

Cid shrugs, "I could have taken them back, but I don't think I could have caught enough for everyone, so just using this as a sort of mental training and performing catch and release fishing is probably the best bet."

I chuckle, "I suppose it's a good thing that Delta ran off with the others then, she would've eaten the fish the moment you released them."

Cid shakes his head as he readies his line again, "She'd probably jump into the ocean to fish, so I wouldn't be able to catch anything regardless. I was lucky she fell asleep earlier after we played a bunch in the sand earlier."

I smile as I watch Cid and eventually, he meets my gaze.

Holding up one of the rods that Leon brough Cid offers, "Wanna try?"

I shake my head, not that fond of insects either, though I likely wouldn't freak out like Angelica, "No. I'll pass for now. You can teach me how to fish next time. I see you're fine with hooking the worm."

"I'm fine with insects." Confirms Cid as he begins fishing again.

He zones out and I notice his line being pulled harshly so I call out to him worried, "Cid you should look at your rod. It looks like it's going to snap."

Going through the motions of fishing Cid brings a huge jellyfish onto the pier.

This surprises Cid as he shouts in genuine surprise, "WOAH, this jellyfish is huge! It's even bigger than Echizen."

"Echizen?" I asked.

Cid waves off my words, "That's the name of a humongous jellyfish."

I knew there were fish here in the lake, but the jellyfish was a surprise. Cid then offers me a net to try and catch my own. We walk along the shore looking for more, hopefully smaller ones.

"If I catch a small one, I'll talk to Gamma so we can display it in an aquarium at the shop." I said. "Perhaps the sales at Mitsugoshi will increase."

Cid sighs, "You're always thinking about work. Don't you ever relax?"

I stop in my tracks and tightly grasp the jellyfish net. As it's the two of us, I let myself be honest and admit my honest thoughts to Cid, admittedly though it all just… falls out, "I'm sorry. I find it difficult to switch my thoughts. Even while I am sitting here quietly gazing at the sea with you, the world continues to move at a rapid pace. In order to stop the revival of diabolos, we must calmly and carefully scrutinize the numerous options we have before acting upon it. Yet, here I am doing nothing… and I can't help but to question if I'm allowed to do that."

"Alpha." Called out Cid, stopping my inward spiral. He then switches the net for his fishing rod. "Here. If you know what your goal is, but don't know what steps to take at the moment, sometimes it's best to do something completely unrelated. Or at least that's how I see it. How about you try and cast a line and take your mind off of things?"

I reach for the bait, "I… suppose. Then will you show me how to hook the bait?"

I feel disgusted as I stare at all the wriggling insects, but do not feel like running as Angelica did.

Cid calmly shows me how to fish and we sit comfortably side by side. I find myself enjoying the process, feeling like a woman my age as I look in wonder at the line moving.

"Alpha." Called out Cid as I let go of the fish as he had done earlier.

"Yes, Cid?" I responded, happy as I thought I could possibly be.

However, Cid proved me wrong as with his next few words, "I love you."

I tackled him to the ground then and there, not caring if anyone would run into us or even hear me shout how much I loved him in response.

-Leon-

After Livia, Sara, and I chased Angie for a good 5 minutes she got angry. So angry in fact that she said she was going to just sleep with Livia that night. I suppose I can't blame her. But after giving her and Livia a goodnight kiss, she whispered that I was full of sand and should take a shower.

I thought that was maybe an invitation, but Livia had clarified earlier that Claire was in on the whole thing they had set up like Deirdre was and that they wanted to spend the night with me. I was a bit startled, but they apparently talked about it a lot even before today, and that Claire and Deirdre were waiting for me.

That would explain how they had interacted with me all day.

As I begin to undress, I think back to how everything was after I first met up with Claire.

Shortly after she had her argument with Cid, I brought her to see the other girls, Livia worked her magic and gave her the biggest hug she could muster. Which, given their height difference meant Livia got a face full of Claire's chest. I think I was the only one who really noticed.

After all I was the only one who really noticed that we were all wearing rather modern swimsuits. I have on a dive skin, although I have the top tied around my waist. Livia insisted. I actually tried on some swim trunks too but Angie and Deirdre seemed to like how the dive suit would cling to my skin.

For their part Livia had worn a simple blue bikini top and skirt bottom covered by a white hoodie that would turn translucent when water hit it. Livia was a bit embarrassed to show off her skin. Angie and Deirdre didn't have the same hang ups. I guess their dresses do show off quite a bit of cleavage anyway, as do the plug suits we wear to pilot the armors.

Angie wore a Red Bikini that had some black outlines, reminding me of that one sexy dress she wore during the end of term ball. She knows very well how I feel about that dress and likely did this on purpose.

Deidre wore a green frilly top and a black bottom that had floral print on it. She also had a white parasol, as she wasn't too used to going to the beach like this.

Claire was the spitting image of a cute tomboy. Her hair tied up in a ponytail with an orange ribbon with a white floral print that matched with a bikini top and some… rather short jean shorts.

"Leon… you can at least say something out loud, can't you?" said Claire as she covered herself with her arms embarrassed.

I see that the other girls have similar reactions, so I take a deep bow.

"Thank you very much!" I say with full sincerity.

The girls all laugh, and as I get up I see Claire feeling a little better.

From there we ended up meeting with Alice, Alexia, Natsume, and Shiron.

Natsume and Shiron showed us how to play watermelon smashing, which we did for a bit. Alice had provided us with a couple of watermelons before walking off. I admit playing such a familiar game in a new world was pretty… nice, honestly. My favorite part had to be how Shiron talked Natsume into walking straight off of a pier into the lake.

After that I had introduced the girls to volleyball. Luxion had been on board for introducing a sport from Old humanity so he helped me get a ball and set up some lines. As she was tired already, Deirdre was the one who kept score. Alexia also wasn't any better off, likely having to do with her albinism, the paler skin probably overheated easier. That made it three vs. three. We shuffled around a lot, with it eventually being decided that Claire and I couldn't be on the same team since it wouldn't be fair.

Claire pouted a bunch at that, but when I offered to do a one on one match she was all smiles. It was fun having the girls cheer for us both.

Around lunch Livia, Deirdre, and Angie walked off to help burn the calories. This left me with Alexia and Claire. We ended up playing cards, brought to us by some brown-haired girl. Nicole, I think. Claire and I totally teamed up against Alexia, and when she figured that out she stomped off somewhere.

After lunch we went back outside and played flag capture with Shiron, Luna, and Natsume. I think I saw Cid in the distance on a surfboard with, Alice told me this later, Eta. Unfortunately, being distracted by seeing Cid surfing made me lose a game to Claire. She wouldn't stop bragging about it, and in true tomboy fashion she did so by giving me a chokehold that held me against her massive mammaries. They aren't the biggest I've seen but damn were they still good.

Claire and Deirdre eventually ran off to go get dinner with Cid's girls, but I was kind of interested in fishing up something. Livia and Angie wanted to see me fish, so they followed me. I met up with Cid and his fiancé Sara, who was a really cute dog girl (Livia cuddled her immediately, and was happy to have her hugs returned).

Whatever Cid and Sara were up to wore them out so they were all for some relaxing fishing. However after Angie freaked out over the bait Livia, Sara, and I decided to tease her by chasing her around for a bit.

Leading to now.

A/N: This is the start of the lemon, it's between Leon, Claire, and Deirdre.

A/N: This is the end of the second lemon.

As Leon lies down next to an exhausted Deirdre and Claire, he can't help but wonder what his Angie and Livia are up to. He figures that they're asleep. However, unbeknownst to him Angie found herself faced with the age old question.

"Angie," asked a very tired Olivia, "Would you still love me… if I was a worm?"

As Olivia quickly fell asleep Angelica was left wide awake.

A/N: Wow that ended up longer than I thought it would. Anyway that's the end of the beach arc. They'll be going back to school and prepping the festival next chapter. Might do either some Omakes or a 'what-if' chapter in between. Depends on where I feel more motivated.

So I mentioned this on QQ but I think I got the timing of when everyone was supposed to go to the resort off. I said like two weeks originally for every non-shadow garden member, but I'm not sure if I fixed it or not. It kinda seemed like they went in a couple of days. Oh well.

Let's answer some comments. Like last time, there was none on Space Battles.

AO3:

Wolfpaladin: Yeah, I always felt bad for Epsilon, even though I find the whole slime body thing pretty funny in execution.

I have a weakness for drill-haired girls. So yeah, I definitely planned on using her when I started writing.

With how Cid isn't in dire need of money (although his instincts still scream 'treasure!') Alexia doesn't have a lot of hold over him, so yeah she needs to change her game.

Meh, FEH plays itself for the most part as does EiS:MoG so I'm really only playing FGO and Genshin Impact.

Shadow Guy(Guest): Lmao, I mean I did think it could be cool so that spelling mistake isn't a total mistake. I'll definitely think about it.

Deathfant1920: Well revealing it to the public is tricky, especially since Leon's on good terms with Merce. But everyone (meaning Balcus and Zola) kinda already know.

Soulbow109: Thanks for the long comment!

The amount of times I see people say they find crossovers iffy probably explains why I have so little views compared to some other fics. Well that and my okay-ish writing quality but that's neither here nor there. Thanks for the compliment on how implemented stuff, I'm happy to here that.

I feel like that super maid stuff was something I wanted to write, but just kinda forgot. Maybe in some Omakes or something. Because it's not inaccurate.

Oh yeah, Leon/Claire was a fun idea, and I figured that since Cid is such a little shit (affectionate) he'd love to tease Claire about it.

I do plan on doing more with Merce, but I don't have much to work with from what I remember, that's why she's in the background for the most part.

I think I'll try to go for the named numbers after the school explosion arc. Seems to make the most sense.

DivineDemonDragon: Thanks for the long comment, I love to see it!

Yeah, I hadn't gotten to far into the shadow garden chronicles, but when I saw the chapters about when they got Nu I was like 'well shit.' But yeah I can see that being metaphorical. I will say that I think the game, anime, and manga all give different reasons for wanting to kill Marco. I can't remember too well right now though. I think one she said to cut off her past, another where she's like 'do you want me to kill him, he might recognize me?'

Yeah, Zeta literally wants to make him an immortal god, so… there's a lot to work out.

I think that either that's the case with Beta or the fact that Cid rules the kingdom of Alexandria made her a princess.

Yeah, poor Alpha.

:

Fangs of death: Thanks!

GammaOmegaDelta: Dignity? From Julius?

EDG1999: Hope you enjoyed this chapter's handling of Zola.

I believe in milf and ojou-sama supremacy.

Guest: Hope you like how I handled the Beta stuff as well as the beach event. Lmao yeah, the marshmallows bit was something I wanted to write at least once.

Golden Nova: See, that would mean she would meet Eta, which I feel would mean the world is either saved or doomed.

QQ-

BlackThief12: to be fair, that's how abrupt the chapter ended in the manga too. With Balcus panicking about Zola coming on the last page.

Bladist: I felt like I've been light on Cid so far so I wanted the beach event to mainly focus on him and the girls.

Glad you enjoyed the lemon.

Lmao, thanks.

So Alpha's definitely one of them, I'll say that. I plan on writing it like she's coming out to her mom/big sis, lol.

Zola's going to be around for a little bit. Leon still isn't all good with straight up killing people, plus Merce is on good terms with him so he'd feel bad.

: I think I saw you're the author of another crossover fic for EiS, thanks for reading and writing!

Someoneani: Epsilon deserves love, all the seven shades do. Yeah, that scene was fun for me to write too.

If you mean personal taste then probably Beta. If you mean who I want to see with Cid, then Alpha.

Alternativefuturefan27: I was going to originally include Claire beating up Zola, but I figured I could instead build Leon up a bit character wise.

The idea of a Zola pov is interesting, but I don't think I could do it.

28th00: Yeah Leon is totally a yes man when it comes to his girls. Deirdre has special magic kinda, she's good with wind, somehow getting rose petals when she casts a spell.

Alexia the sad puppy bunny lol. I can imagine her in a box in the rain with how lonely she probably was.

Well that was interesting, but this is the fanservice arc, that kinda stuff will be for later. Neet ideas though.
