Chapter 40 Daddy Den-O

Akira was at his room playing a video game since it was his day off.
"Man with everything that happened it's nice to just relax." Akira smiles.
He then looks at the time. "Oh it's almost lunch, well better go out and grab something to eat."
Akira gets up and goes out to the city, he arrives at a restaurant and looks around, he goes to the bar and gets a snack from it.
"Man with this place it's pretty amazing that it helped up with the war that happened." Akira said.
The barman said: "Oh yeah, we had a good location to avoid that, it's pretty lucky of us sir."
"Yeah I bet." Akira chuckles.
He then saw a little girl that's four walking around, she has brown hair wearing a pink jacket surprising him.
"What the?" Akira said. "Who leaves they're kid walking around."
"Huh?" Barman looks. "Hey that's the girl that's been wondering around."
"You know her?" Akira asked.
"Not exactly, she said she's Miri and she's looking for her father." He said.
"Who just sends they're child off like that." Akira said.
"Yes it's very reckless." Urataros said.
Akira saw a woman in a red dress talking to a man in a black suit, it was Atsushu Hayami.
That's the broker for human trafficking that Overwatch has been going after, the damn rat has been covering his tracks to avoid the law. Akira thinks to himself.
"Well we should kick his ass." Momotaros said.
"If we do that we'll be in trouble." Urataros said.
Then many assassins came surprising Akira as they start to shoot at Atsushu making his guards protect him.
"What the?" Akira ducks behind the bar with the man doing the same as he screams.
Akira saw them shooting at each other with the woman being dragged away as she complains they're ruining her party.
"Is she serious." Akira said.
"Yeah, who cares about a stupid party when she's about to get shot." Momotaros said.
Akira looks around and saw the Miri go up to Atsushu. "Excuse me, i'm Miri, are you my papa?"
He looks at her and grabs her pointing gun at her.
"He's using her as a hostage!" Akira said.
If that's really her father... Then that scum is going to harm her child.
"Wait Akira, she doesn't know if that's really her father so we can do something." Urataros said.
Akira nodded and puts on his belt.
Many assassins kept shooting and Atsushu looks around.
SWORD FORM!
They got surprised as Den-O jumps up kicking many of the guys guns and he swings his sword making the blade come out slashing Atsushu's gun in two.
"Den-O!" Atsushu said.
"That's right, you tried to run but that part of taking a hostage might as well be a one way ticket to jail." Den-O said.
"Hi mr. hero." Miri waves.
"We need to get her out of there." Akira said.
"How?" Den-O said.
"Wait say that we're her papa." Akira said.
"What?!" Den-O said.
"Do it!" Akira said.
"Miri... I'm your papa!" Den-O charges foward.
She then smiles. "Papa!"
"Jump!" He yells.
The blade came back hitting the broker as he grunts making her jump foward smiling.
Den-O dives foward with his arms up to grab her.
"Papa!" She grabs him and hugs Den-O.
Overwatch crashed through the window and kicked the broker's group hitting them down.
"And your under arrest." Tracer said.
"You damn... Overwatch." Atsushu glares at them.
"Sorry, but what you did, gives us enough evidence to send you away." Winston said.
After that they went out and Akira was holding on to Miri.
"Papa, I finally found you." She said.
Tracer chuckles at that. "She loves you."
Akira frowns. "Miri, can you wait in that car over there." He points at one of the vehicles Overwatch has.
"Okay." She runs towards it.
"You can't keep her." Genji said.
"Well I can't send her all alone." Akira said.
"How about we find her mother and tell her the situation." Winston said. "I managed to track her."
"Wow, that fast." Akira said.
"I got a piece of Miri's hair." Winston said.
Akira uses the coordinates he got and goes to where her mother is, he knocks on the door and then a woman in a red dress came.
"What do you want?" She said.
"Your Misaki." Akira said.
"Yes, and?" She said.
"I came to talk you about your daughter Miri." He said.
"Her, why did you even bring that thing up." She said.
Akira got stunned by her words.
"What?!" Momotaros said.
"She insulted her own daughter!" Urataros said.
"How dare she!" Kintaros said.
"That big meanie!" Ryutaros said.
"What, why did you call your own child that?" Akira said.
"Because she ruined my life, I had a good lover that would give me everything, but the moment I got pregnant he kicked me to the side, so she ruined the life I had!" She said. "Each time she laughed I just want to hit her."
Akira was getting angrier hearing those words.
"In fact she always heats those cheap meals, like a cheap date." She laughs.
"Shut up!" Akira yells.
She flinches. "Who are you to tell me-" She got cut off when he pushed her foward.
Her partner came. "Hey who the hell are you?!" But he got punched in the face sending him down.
Misaki got mad and tries to slap Akira but she grabs her wrist surprising her.
"Did you think I would slap me like..." He slaps her down. "This."
"How dare you!" She said.
"I dare just fine, because let me tell you something, your blaming a innocent child of something that's not her fault. You care more about some damn criminal over the child you created! You gave her away without even knowing since you just thought she was a burden! She's a angel that came to this world and she got the worst possible mother! You act like she has no future but it's the opposite you have no future." Akira glares at her.
"What?!" She said.
"You heard me! Your nothing more than the scum of this world! The worst of the worst! It seems I made a mistake thinking her mother would take care of her, so i'll do this instead, i'll take care of Miri while you go to jail." Akira said.
"Yeah!" Momotaros cheers. "That's how it's done!"
"It seems you rubbed off on him." Urataros said.
Misaki laughs. "Who's going to believe you."
He takes out his overwatch badge scaring her. "I'm a Overwatch member and your confession was recorded, so in other words, this is enough proof to go to jail. So you have no life even more where your going."
She was shaking in fear. "Please don't do that."
He goes to the door as soldiers came in the moment he made a signal. "Take her away and that slob too."
They went inside and Misaki screams as they dragged her away.
Akira was inside the vehicle with the others as they drive off.
"We heard everything." Winston frowns.
"To think she would do that." Tracer was mad.
"Yes, I can't let her suffer." Akira looks to the other side as Miri was drawing on a piece of paper. "So can I take care of her."
Winston thinks and smiles. "Of course, it's the duty of a Overwatch member to protect the innocent."
"Well i'll let it slide." Genji said.
Akira smiles since he will have to take care of Miri from now on, she looks at him and shows a drawing of the two together smiling and holding hands.
Miri as long as i'm here, you'll be safe. Akira thinks to himself.
Note: Akira got his own adopted daughter being Miri from Buddy Daddies, yeah he's not going to convince her mother, oh no after losing his parents he prefers to keep Miri to raise her over that horrible woman, Akira doesn't like children suffering so that pissed him off.
