Chapter 41 Miri's Day
I don't own Kamen Rider Den-O or Overwatch
Akira was sleeping on his bed before someone came in.
"Rise and shine!" Miri came in and jumped to the bed landing on Akira and he grunts.
"Miri." He grunted.
"Come on Papa, let's have breakfast together." She got excited.
He got up and goes out with her, he went to the kitchen and saw Mei there already.
"Hey Mei." He sits down.
"Wow," She drinks some coffee. "It seems she wanted to have breakfast with you."
"It's been like this ever since she came." Akira said.
Miri has been living with Overwatch as Akira adopted her so she became part of they're little family.
"Mama Mei." Miri looks at her.
Mei got surprised but she chuckles. "Yes Miri?"
"I want some cereal." She said.
"Oh okay." She goes to a cabinet and takes some and a bowl too for Miri.
Akira has some toast but then a banana fell on his head.
"Oh excuse me Akira." Winston calls out.
"Uncle monkey!" Miri points at him.
"I'm a gorilla, not a monkey." He said.
"Well you bananas like a monkey." Akira frowns and he saw a bowl with some. "Hey Miri, bananas." He picks one up.
"Banana!" She tries to reach at it.
"Hey those are mine." Winston said.
"Your on a diet." Akira reminded him.
Tracer came laughing at that scene. "She's like a little monkey."
Kitty came and Akira saw her. "Oh hey Kitty." He gives her a bowl with milk and she drinks from it.
"Kitty!" Miri goes to her side and pets the cat.
"So what are you doing to do with Miri today Akira?" Mei asked.
"Well we can't have her stay all day here." Akira said.
"Yes." Genji came. "It would be better if she goes out."
He goes to do some exercise and he was on a treadmill to run fast.
Miri saw it and goes towards it. "I want to try."
"What?" He looks at her.
She climbs up and presses on the speed up button making it faster.
"Hey!" He said as it got faster and he struggles more.
"Ha ha ha ha ha!" Miri laughs at him.
"She's a little troublemaker." Tracer chuckles.
"You sure she isn't related to you instead." Mei looks at her.
"Stop this crazy thing!" Genji yells.
They managed to stop it and Genji was on the table tired, Miri was eating ceral with Kitty on her lap.
"Tell me you have something planned." Genji said.
"Well I was thinking a daycare." Akira said.
"Ah, yes that way she can spend time with other children." Winston said.
They saw Miri already dressed and carrying a school bag. "Daycare!"
They sweat drop seeing that. She gets excited with everything.
Later Akira goes to a office to register Miri as she runs around while he sits on a chair waiting.
He looks at the number and he sighs. "I hate these types of things."
After some time he goes to talk with a omnic at a desk.
"Okay, so you wish to register your daughter at a school." The worker said.
"Yes." Akira nodded.
"What job do you have?" He asked.
"Oh yes, I own a cafe." Akira said.
He bought a business to make the Overwatch part not as known since it could be dangerous.
"I see, well we will need for you sir to pick a place for your child." Omnic said.
"Yes of course." Akira said.
Later
Akira was at the base tired and he looks at many papers with Tracer at his side.
"Man theres a lot of stuff." She looks around.
"It's normal." Winston was sitting on a chair having tea. "This is simply the process to have a child in school."
"But all of this work, it makes me want to give up." Akira stands up with the papers.
"No!" Miri runs foward she jumps foward headbutting his gut.
Akira grunts failing down while she grabs the papers.
"I wasn't being serious." Akira holds his stomach.
"I wanna go! Mama Tracer." She looks at her with the puppy eyes.
"Hey don't worry, he's just tired from the long day." Tracer rubbed her head.
Akira gets up and looks at Miri. "Miri, I wasn't going to give up, I was just tired."
"Then Miri will go?" She smiles.
He smiles at her. "Yes."
"Yay!" She cheers.
"Well since that's been settled, let's eat." Winston said.
They went to have dinner together and Miri was sitting next to Akira.
He was eating steak and she had some too. "Yummy!"
"Yeah, it's good Miri." Akira said.
"Can I have pudding for desert?" Miri said.
"Finish your plate first." Akira said.
"Yes, you don't want to spoil your dinner." Mei said.
Miri smiles with everyone at the table and Origami was next to her patting her head with a smile.
"Please don't let enter my training room." Genji said.
"Your still on about that." Akira said. "Jeez man she didn't know any better."
"Yes, plus it was funny." Tracer said with she and Mei laughing.
Mercy came inside. "I'm back."
"Angel mama!" Miri got excited to see her again.
Mercy chuckles at her words and hugs her. "Hello Miri."
"Well come on sit down." Tracer said.
Mercy joins them and they have a good time together, Akira talks with Mercy and they talked a lot together with Miri having a big smile on her face.
Akira then thinks about the daycare. I'll have to find a place where Miri will have to go to. But i'm sure i'll be able to find one, just hope nobody tries anything while she's there.
With his bad luck something terrible might happen.
"Oh Akira, did you decide who would be the mother of Miri in paper?" Winston asked.
"What?" Akira said.
"It would be better for someone to act as second parent to Miri." Winston said.
"Oh." Tracer raises her hand. "Me, pick me!"
"Oh... Okay." He said.
"Yes!" She high fives Miri.
The other girls frown hearing that.
"Well let's see how this will turn out." Akira sighs.
Note: Miri has started to adjust in her new life with Overwatch as she now is preparing to go to a daycare like in her series.
