Fairy Tail is visiting Akane Beach Resort. Why? Because Cana wanted a girl's weekend of letting loose drinking, dancing, and making Natsu jealous.

It's obvious that Natsu and Lucy loooooove each other but neither will do anything about it. Correction, Natsu won't. A week ago they miraculously convinced Lucy to confess. The next day Natsu came into the guild looking sad which confused them. When asked why he was sad he told them it was because Lucy was being weird and then kicked him out of her apartment. Levy passed the baby off to Gajeel and went to her best friend's apartment with Cana.

Lucy welcomed them into her home and made all of them tea while she explained how everything went down.

"I don't get it, he obviously loves you."

"As nakama Levy. He made that clear last night."

"Nah, I think he was lying. No, hear me out. Natsu has made it known he doesn't like change and if you two became more serious well that is a big change." Cana says.

"That's true but I can't wait on him forever."

"Then how about we find you someone to go on a date with?" Levy suggests.

"How can I possibly do that when any time a guy even tries to approach me Natsu scares them off?"

"I know! We can have a girl's weekend somewhere."

"You know he'll just follow us right?"

"Exactly. But you will be with us and we can stop Natsu from scaring them off."

"I don't know, Natsu is a wild card, who knows what will happen."

"Don't worry, Erza and Mira will be there."

Lucy reluctantly agrees.

Natsu discreetly (not really) got on the train a few cars behind the one the women were in. He overheard the women's plans in the guild and didn't like it one bit. She had just confessed to him a week ago that she loves him, why are they going out for the weekend to find Lucy a boyfriend? What did Lucy even need a boyfriend for? She had him. He told her before the 100-Year-Quest that they were going to always be together now. He told her the same thing when she said she loved him. When asked in what way he said to her, "Partners of course!" Apparently, that was the wrong answer because she kicked him out.

He also didn't like the fact she was going out drinking with the women without him there because he knows firsthand how she is when she gets drunk. Not all men will be able to stop themselves from taking advantage of her when she gets flirty and all touchy-feely. A fire lights in his belly thinking about another man having the balls to put their hands on her.

Now here he is, being a ninja hiding behind a tree making sure no man does anything with her. He can't help but bob his head as the current song is playing. The women have been listening to We Got The Moon by Eclectic Mailman (*facepalms* Natsu, It's We Got The Moves by Electric Callboy) for weeks. His eyes are glued to Lucy as she dances. He knew she could dance, she taught him and many others before a mission they had. He however did not know she could dance like that.

Anytime a man attempts to approach Lucy he discreetly (not really) shoots a tiny fireball at them. Each time he hears them say something along the lines of "Should have known that dragon slayer would be around.".

Sick of being behind a tree, he leaves the spot to find another place to spy on her. He doesn't get far before he hears a shout.

"It's Natsu Dragneel of Fairy Tail!"

"Oh my god where?"

Before Natsu knows it he's swarmed by a horde of females chattering away. He tries to ignore them and break free but there are just so many. He would ask Happy for help but he stayed behind at the guild. Crap, how does he get out of this?

"What happened to stop Natsu from scaring guys off?" Lucy asks as she dances barefoot on the sand.

"To be completely honest I didn't think he would attempt to be discreet about following us and hiding. I thought he would be loud and brash and do more than shoot little fireballs at guys." Cana says.

"Why didn't any of you go over and stop him?"

"Why didn't you?"

"You said you would! And, if I were to have gone over to him he would have dragged me off somewhere and not to have privacy mind you. It would have been to go find something to eat."

"Lu-" Levy started.

"It's Natsu Dragneel of Fairy Tail!"

"Oh my god where?"

Lucy whips her head in the direction the shouts came from and finds the sight of her best friend swarmed by a horde of women. He looks so uncomfortable and unable to do anything. If it were a horde of men he'd fight all of them but since it was a bunch of magicless women he was helpless.

They make eye contact and he mouths 'Help me.' As she starts to make her way over, she catches a guy coming her way. She looks from Natsu to him and then back at Natsu. She looks at the man again, shakes her head no, and walks over to save Natsu. She doesn't have it in her to leave him to suffer.

Natsu was sure she was going to abandon him to spend time with the man who made his way over to her. He should have known better; she has always put him first. Loke appears which grabs the attention of the women and go off with him.

He's able to breathe a sigh of relief, "Thanks Luce."

"Mmhmm… What are you doing here Natsu? This is supposed to be a girls-only weekend." She can't help but lick her lips at the sight of Natsu in his swim trunks and scarf tied around his forehead. He has such a perfectly toned body.

"Well, I know how you can get when you drink, and I wanted to make sure no one took advantage of you."

Lucy raises an eyebrow, "You honestly thought I would get plastered around so many strangers?"

"Well, no. But I know how Cana can be."

"Cana is all talk. She wouldn't allow me to get so plastered I would embarrass myself around all of these people. It's one thing at the guild or with just a few friends but she would never make me drink so much that resulted in publicly humiliating myself. She also said that she would like for me to be able to remember everything so I can tell her all of the details." The last part wasn't true. She was curious about his reaction. He hadn't dragged her off right away like she suspected.

"What would you need to remember?"

"Think Natsu. What would Cana want to know details about? I know you're not as dense as you lead others to believe."

It doesn't take Natsu long to figure it out. He's heard enough from the older pervs of the guild to know exactly what Cana would want details about. "I told you we're always going to be together now."

"Yeah, as partners."

"Yeah. I also should have told you I want to be partners in all things."

"Natsu…"

"But I'm not ready to settle down and have a family yet. I want to go on more adventures with you."

"Who said we couldn't date and go on adventures at the same time?"

"No one, but isn't that what happens? Levy and Gajeel already have a baby."

Lucy sighs, "Yeah, that's true but we don't have to do the same as them. We can wait to start a family."

"We can?"

"There's not a timetable on these things."

"So, we can be boyfriend and girlfriend and not start a family right away?"

"Of course, there are so many more adventures I want to go on with you."

Cana interrupts their conversation, "Everything okay with you two?"

Natsu grins, "Yeah! Lucy's my girlfriend now!" He grabs Lucy's wrist and begins to drag her away.

"Natsu where are we going?"

"Back to my room." He then shouts at Cana, "Don't worry, she'll be able to remember everything so she can tell you the details tomorrow."

"NATSU!"

"Hold up, you're going to need this." Cana digs in her bag and when she finds what she's looking for she tosses it at Natsu.

He catches it and asks, "What's this?"

Lucy is the one to reply, "Something to make sure we don't start a family right away."

"Thanks Cana!"

"Have fun you two!"

As Lucy allows herself to be dragged off in the direction of the hotel, she becomes a bundle of nerves. "Natsu, we haven't even kissed."

"Oh right," Natsu drags her into an alley. When they're far enough away where no one can see them, he grabs her hips and pulls her closer to himself and wastes no time claiming her lips, kissing her softly.

Why did he pull Lucy into an alley to kiss her you ask? Well, the rest that I have typed up in a doc is just pointless smut and I decided to leave it out.
