The Great Heroes Tournament 3
/I can't believe this is happening. I have to fight her, out of all people?/ Renjie thought with an uneasy expression on his face.
He was standing on a special fighting ground in the center of the arena. Everyone is watching them, Yu Renjie and Ye Mingzhu.
Ye Mingzhu was a daughter of the head of the Alliance, founder of the school. But more importantly, Ye Mingzhu was a daughter of the same person that announced war on the Demon Cultist.
And now Renjie is forced to fight her. Both of them were waiting for Teacher Xue to announce the start. He raised his hand, signalizing that the fight is about to begin.
"May the best student-"
"WEAPONS! WEAPONS! WEAPONS! WEAPONS!" Crowd started shouting together.
They wanted more than a normal Qi battle, they wanted a bloody brawl filed with weapons. It seems that one individual wanted a weapon battle, it's possible that he had a bad intention, but crowds ain't crowds if they don't want most out of their buck and what's more valuable than watching two Qi fighters, watching two Qi fighters with weapons, deadly weapons.
"Hmm… This is interesting." Teacher Xue said with his hand holding his chin.
"IF YOU WANT WEAPONS THAT BADLY, THEN WHO AM I TO DISAGREE!" Xue said it with a mad smile on his face.
Soon enough teacher Yue appeared on the stage holding two weapons, one was "Chains of Death" from Renjie and the other one was a well known weapon, named "Demon slasher" from Ye Mingzhu.
A Demon slasher was a long strong spear with a big blade at the end of it. A long spear made especially for killing Demon cultists. And it was good at it.
"Make sure to not kill each others, understand?" Teacher Yue said while handing them their weapons.
Teacher Yue stepped outside of the arena after handing them their weapons.
/That weapon, why is it so familiar?/ Teacher Yue thought as he took a better look at Renjies weapon.
"May the best fighter… WIN!" Teacher Xue announced the start of the battle.
Spectators immediately started cheering. They were excited to finally get some real actions.
Ye Mingzhu immediately rushed towards Renjie trying to stab him with her spear.
Renjie barely dodges her attack by moving to his right side. From all the momentum Ye Ming passed Renjie by his left side, but she didn't wait a single moment. She immediately turned towards Renjie trying to slash him on his chest. Renjie jumped backwards, avoiding her attack.
/That was close-/ Renjie's eyes widened on the sight in front of him.
*CRASH*
Renjie got struck by Ming's Qi attack.
Ye Mingzhu was a Moon Qi master. At the age of 10 she was able to perform silent skills. Skills that don't require any verbal support. Skills that took decades to achieve she was able to achieve at age of 11. A true child prodigy.
Renjie was taken back by her attack, sending him a few meters backwards. That attack wasn't strong, but it was fast, almost impossible to dodge. While the Renjie was still in the air Ye Ming rushed towards him, dropping her weapon in the process.
"I am sorry, but I can't afford to lose."
*MOON PUNCH!*
Ming punched Renjie in his abdomena, sending him flying in the air outside of the arena. Dropping his weapon in the process.
"There's no way she'll recover from it. I shouldn't have had my hopes up." A boy with green venomous hair and green kimono said as he turned around walking away from the arena.
He was one of the students who were watching Renjie's and Ming's battle.
"No, this can't be!" Tang Tang said as she was holding her hands in a praying position.
Rules are clear, if you step outside of the arena, you are disqualified. Renjie was still in the air, the moment he contacts the ground he's going to be disqualified. Losing the tournament. As well as losing a chance to get out of the special class. Possibly getting expelled from the school.
/No… I made a mistake. I can't lose like this!/ Renjie thought as he was falling towards the ground. /I DON'T WANT TO LOSE, NOT LIKE THIS!/
Renjie was experiencing a mild mental breakdown.
His body started to glow, emitting purplish color. While still in the air his fake boobs bursted, creating a smoke around him.
"Heh, perfect." That made Uncle Li happy for some reason. "It worked perfectly."
*SWISH*
*CRASH*
Ground shocked on Renjie's impact. Renjie activating his, or her, White Lotus Qi, landing on the fighting ground. Saving herself from getting disqualified from the tournament.
/That took you long enough/ Renjie thought as she faced Ye Ming.
I am sorry…
"WHAT, SHE FINALLY USED HER INTERNAL ENERGY?!" Green haired boy said as he returned to the arena, watching Renjie.
"Thank goodness!" Tang Tang was relieved seeing Renjie using her Qi again.
"Wha-"
*LOTUS RAY!*
Renjie didn't wait a single moment, immediately attacking Ming. Ye Ming wasn't able to dodge Renjie's attack, sending her in the air.
Renjie, seeing her defenseless, immediately rushed towards her, gathering all his Qi towards her legs. Making her move super fast.
*Punch… of the Great Lotus Demon!*
Moments before Renjie's fist struck Ye Ming's body, Renjie gather all of her Qi in one point of her right hand. Completely without thinking. Making her attack ten times stronger.
*Moon protecting wal-*
Ming tried protecting herself but to no avail. Renjie's attack got through Ming's defense, sending her outside of the arena.
*CRASH*
Dust settled on the ground, showing a clear winner.
"YU RENJIE WINS!" Teacher Xue announced the winner.
Crowd started cheering, they were amazed seeing Renjie's immersive strength.
"What, how is that possible?" Unknown man was watching in disbelief.
"I am sorry." Renjie reached towards Ye Mingzhu. Helping her get up.
"Don't be, that was a great battle." Ye Ming had a happy expression on her face. "You won fair and square. I'll be cheering for you from up there. Make sure to win!"
"Thank you, I will!"
