Chapter 54 Amusement park

Akira was walking down the streets with Misaki as the two watched Miri go foward down the road smiling.

"Don't run too far Miri." He said.

"Okay." She said.

Misaki stares at her daughter and smiles, but then frowns at the way she had treated her a long time ago.

Miri kept going before she got excited and points. "Look."

They saw a amusement park and Akira chuckles so they went there together.

The three of them went foward as Miri got excited walking around, Akira then looks around for anything that might happen.

A worker omnic offers Miri a balloon and she smiles taking it. "Thank you."

Akira goes up to her. "Where do you want to go first?"

"There." She points at a spinning tea cups.

"Well okay." He said.

The three went there and they sat inside of one as it spins making Miri cheer as she sits in between her parents.

Misaki holds her as they spin around and she looks at Akira, he has been a true father to her and more of a parent than what she could have ever hoped for.

Then after that Misaki buys Miri cotton candy making her happy. "Thanks mama."

She smiles at her. "Your welcome."

Akira watches and she's trying her best to a good mother to Miri and he has some concerns.

I swear if she goes back to her old ways i'm coming after her. Akira thinks to himself.

They went foward together and Miri saw a photo booth. "Let's go take a picture together."

The two got surprised but they did it anyway for her, the three of them sit inside as Miri was in between them.

Akira smiles and they took the picture, Misaki goes to see the pictures and she saw the happy smile of Miri with her and Akira together.

The three of them makes it like a real family.

She smiles at the scene since this is something that she wanted a bit, she remembers when she was with her parents and they always treated her well.

What made you fall so hard Misaki? She thinks to herself.

Akira carries Miri on his shoulders as she cheers. "I'm so high up."

He smiles at her. "Yeah, you are."

Misaki follows them from behind and can see that Miri loves being with Akira, so even if he's not her real father he's been more family to her than anybody has ever been.

Akira was happy being with her, as to him blood doesn't make a real family, it's how you raise them.

They stopped near a bathroom as Miri goes inside since she needed to go.

"You've been making her happy for so long." Misaki said.

"Hey, blood doesn't make a real family, yeah your related but family is giving love to them, like even if she's not my child by blood, she's my daughter because I care for her." He said.

Misaki nodded, she wonders if she can even be called her mother, she's by blood but she did nothing more than hate Miri and because of that she got sent to jail, it really made her think of how she went through her entire time.

The two guys that she went out were jerks and used her, she thought she loved them but they didn't care about her, while the only person that did she hated.

Miri came out. "I'm done."

"Did you wash your hands?" He asked.

"Yes." She nodded.

"Okay." Akira holds her hand.

The three of them went foward as they spent more time there, they ate lunch at a nearby stand as they sat together, Akira even got Miri ice cream as she got many scoops making her juggle them as they looked.

They went to the different booths and he got Miri a bunny making her excited getting it.

Misaki also plays along with them and she got a goldfish making her stare at it with the other two also looking at the fish.

Then they went to the ferris wheel, it was night time, they were inside of a booth as it goes up.

Miri was sleeing on Misaki's lap since she got tired and the two looked outside the window.

"You know, what they say is if you love something, you must protect it." Misaki said.

"Yes, and what is your point?" He said.

"I wanted you to give Miri back, but I see that she's happier with you than she has ever been." Misaki rubs her head.

"Well, I tried to make her as much happiness I can give her. I'm new at being a parent but I had friends helping me out." He said.

"I see." She looks at the moon. "I really can see this is the family she deserved. That woman, Urara, she could have been a better mother than me. Miri even sees her children as her siblings."

"It's a family we all made together." Akira said.

"Yes it is." She nodded. "I just... Wish to still be part of that family. I know I don't deserve it, but I hope you can continue helping me out."

He stares at her and can see she doesn't want to leave Miri again, maybe she really wants to change.

Miri starts to wake up and Akira looks down, but the glitched making them shake as he went foward, Miri looks up and gasped.

She saw Misaki and Akira kiss as they blush.

"Mama and papa are kissing!" She closes her eyes.

The two seperated and held they're mouths.

"Sorry Miri, just didn't expect you to wake up." Akira said.

Misaki held hers and for some reason, he felt special compared to others, like it was meant to be.

They went down and exited the wheel with the man at the controls saying: "Sorry, something happened with the lights."

"Well be careful." Akira said and he nodded.

Akira carries Miri with him as the three of them went out of the park and headed back home, Misaki looks at him and smiles before holding his hand.

He got surprised and she mutters. "To show off we're family."

Akira sighs and let's her do it, Miri didn't notice since she was still tired but it was a great day for her.

But Akira doesn't know why she wants to hold hands after this, she was always a bit distant from him and now she's trying too hard to act like his wife.

What is going on with her, since there isn't deception with her so she's not using him so what's the deal.

Note: Heres a chapter to show Miri and her family a park having fun there, and Misaki and Akira's relationship getting better slowly.
