Rin placed a comforting hand on Obito's shoulder. "I know, Obito. It's heartbreaking to see her go through this, especially after everything she's been through. But we can only support her and be there for her."

Obito nodded, his expression determined. "We'll stand by her, Rin. Whatever decision she makes, we'll support her."

Rin smiled at Obito, grateful for his unwavering support. "That's why I love you, Obito. You have a big heart, especially when it comes to those you care about."

Obito returned the smile, squeezing Rin's hand. "Let's focus on helping Sakura heal. She needs friends right now, and we're not going to let her face this alone."

The next morning, Sakura woke up in the unfamiliar guest room at Obito and Rin's place. The events of the previous day crashed over her like a wave, and she felt a heavy ache in her chest.

As she sat up, Rin entered the room with a gentle smile. "Good morning, Sakura. How are you feeling?"

Sakura managed a small smile in return, though her eyes betrayed the pain she felt. "Morning, Rin. I... I don't even know how to feel right now."

Rin sat down beside Sakura, offering a comforting presence. "Take your time, Sakura. We're your friends. We care about you."

"Sakura," Obito spoke from behind his wife. "I'm so sorry to spring this up to you, right now. But Kakashi's on the living room. He said he wants to speak with you."

Sakura took a deep breath, her emotions swirling. She appreciated Obito's honesty, even though the timing was difficult.

"I'll talk to him," Sakura said, her voice steady. "I need to hear what he has to say, even though I don't know if I'm ready for it."

Obito nodded understandingly, his gaze filled with concern. "Just remember, Sakura, you have the right to set boundaries. If at any point it becomes too much, don't hesitate to walk away."

Rin added, "We're here for you, Sakura. Whatever you decide, we support you."

Sakura nodded in gratitude and made her way to the living room where Kakashi was waiting. The air felt tense as she entered, and Kakashi stood up, his gaze downcast.

"Sakura, I... I don't even know where to begin," Kakashi started, his voice heavy with regret.

Sakura took a moment to collect herself before responding. "Begin by being honest, Kakashi. What happened? Why did it come to this?"

"Please don't make me say it, Sakura." Kakashi pleaded. "I'm going to hurt you if I say it."

Sakura, though hesitant, pressed on. "Kakashi, I need the truth. I deserve to know why my marriage is falling apart."

Kakashi sighed, his shoulders slumping. "I always love challenges, Sakura." he admitted. "And Dad is so strict that he made you so forbidden that it spiked something in me."

Sakura's eyes narrowed, a mix of confusion and frustration on her face. "What are you talking about, Kakashi? How does that justify what you've done?"

Kakashi took a deep breath, struggling to find the right words. "When we got married, it felt like the thrill was gone. Like the challenge was over. And then, I met someone. Someone who posed a challenge, someone who felt exciting."

Sakura's eyes widened in realization, a knot forming in her stomach. "Are you saying that you only married me because I was a 'challenge'?"

Kakashi hesitated before responding, his gaze fixed on the floor. "No, Sakura. I didn't mean it that way. I married you because I love you. But over time, it felt like the excitement was gone, and I made a mistake by seeking it elsewhere."

Sakura, feeling a mix of hurt and anger, pressed on. "So, you fell out of love with me because life wasn't challenging enough for you?"

Kakashi nodded, his admission hanging heavily in the air. "I know it sounds selfish and stupid, but that's the truth. I got lost along the way, and I ended up hurting you in the process. I can't justify what I did, Sakura. It was a terrible mistake."

Sakura took a deep breath, trying to process the information. "And who is this person? The one you found more 'exciting' than your own wife?"

Kakashi hesitated, reluctant to reveal the identity of the other woman. "She's from a neighboring village. I met her on a mission. She posed a challenge, Sakura. And I... I found something in her that I can't seem to find in you. I'm sorry." he apologized. "I'm sorry, Sakura. Because I am selfish, I am losing what is really important to me. You mean a lot to me, Sakura. When you left last night, I... I felt lost. I need you, Sakura. Please."

Sakura listened to Kakashi's words, a mixture of emotions swirling within her. The pain of betrayal, the confusion of his reasoning, and the lingering love she had for him created a tumultuous storm inside her.

"Sakura..."

"When did you start sleeping with her?" she asked.

Kakashi, hesitant and remorseful, answered, "Five... no four months ago."

"Four..." Sakura stopped, she clutched the front of her shirt. "Four months..."

Sakura felt a sharp pang in her chest as the reality of Kakashi's infidelity sank in. Four months meant that their marriage had been unraveling behind her back for quite some time.

"How many times?" she asked.

"Sakura..."

"How many times?!"

Kakashi, unable to meet Sakura's gaze, reluctantly admitted, "I don't even remember, Sakura. It was a mistake, every single time."

Sakura's eyes welled up with tears, a mixture of pain and anger in her voice. "And every time you touched me, every time you kissed me, every time you sleep with me, it was a lie? You were betraying me all along?" she wiped away her tears. "Why did you do this to me? Am I not enough? Am I not good enough?"

Kakashi, his own eyes filled with regret, took a step towards Sakura. "No, Sakura, it's not about you not being enough. It's about me being a fool, about me making a terrible mistake. I let something new and exciting cloud my judgment, and I hurt you in the process. I never meant for you to feel like you're not enough."

"All those missions that you take. How many are real missions? How many are excuses to see her?"

Kakashi, unable to maintain eye contact, admitted, "Some of them were real missions, but I won't deny that I used some as excuses to see her. I messed up, Sakura, and I'm sorry."

Sakura looked at him. He looked the same to the man she married two years ago, but the man in front of her now is not the same man who vowed to love her.

Sakura nodded. "I'm stepping back from this relationship, Kakashi. You wanted excitement? Go get it from her. I'm removing myself from this story."

Sakura's voice, though filled with pain, carried a sense of finality. Kakashi, realizing the magnitude of his mistakes, couldn't find the words to counter or fix what was broken.

"Sakura, please..." he knelt in front of her. "Please, Sakura, don't do this. I love you, Sakura. When I was confronted of the reality of losing you, I realized that I can't live without you. Please, Sakura."

Sakura looked down at Kakashi, her expression a mix of sadness and resolution. "Kakashi, love is not supposed to hurt like this. It's not supposed to be a game or a challenge. I can't be with someone who sees our marriage as a thrill that can be replaced by something new and exciting."

Kakashi clung to her legs, tears started to wet his mask. "Sakura, no. Please."

"Kakashi, Dad is one of the most important people in my life." she started. "I just ask for opportunities to see him from time to time."

Sakura's words hung in the air as Kakashi continued to kneel before her, his tears staining the floors. The weight of the truth, the pain of betrayal, and the shattered pieces of their marriage filled the room.

"Sakura," Kakashi pleaded, his voice choked with emotion. "I messed up, and I know I don't deserve your forgiveness, but please... don't give up on us. I can change. I'll do whatever it takes to make things right." He looked up at her. "Please, Sakura. I can't... please."

Kakashi's pleas broke her heart in a way that she never thought it would. Despite being hurt by him, she still loves him too much that she cannot stop herself from comforting him.

She lowered herself down and felt Kakashi's grip on her loosened. She knelt in front of him. "Kakashi, I... I spent my whole life loving you. That is why it hurts." she slammed her fist into her chest. "It hurts so bad."

Kakashi looked up at Sakura, his eyes filled with desperation and regret. "Sakura, I know I hurt you, and I can't change the past. But I swear, I'll do whatever it takes to make things right. I love you more than anything, and losing you is tearing me apart."

"If you love me, why do you have to look for another thrill?" she asked. "Why would you look for another woman? If you were bored, you could have talked to me. We could have fixed it."

Kakashi, his voice strained with remorse, replied, "I was foolish, Sakura. I let the excitement of something new blind me to what was truly important. I didn't communicate with you, and I made a terrible mistake. I'm sorry for hurting you, and I understand if you can't forgive me. But please, give me a chance to show you that I can change, that I can be the husband you deserve."

"I needed you, Kakashi." she whispered. "I needed you, but you were out there somewhere, while I am suffering here. Do you even know what is happening in my life the past four months? Do you know what I'm going through while you were screwing her?"

Kakashi's eyes reflected the pain of realization as he listened to Sakura's words. He hadn't considered the impact of his actions on her, the loneliness and suffering she might have endured during those months.

He shook his head. "No. I'm sorry, Sakura."

"You didn't even notice the scar that I have in my abdomen in the few times that you were intimate with me?"

Sakura's words hung in the air, and Kakashi's eyes widened with shock and guilt. He hadn't noticed the physical pain she carried, a stark symbol of the emotional wounds he inflicted.

"I... I didn't know," Kakashi stammered, his voice filled with regret. "Sakura, what happened?" He lifted the hem of her shirt, and there, he found the vertical scar that she mentioned. "What happened to this?"

Sakura, her eyes welling up with tears, looked at Kakashi. "I got this during a mission. It was a close call, and I thought I might not make it back. But all I wanted was to come back to you, to us."

Kakashi, guilt and realization heavy in his gaze, gently traced the scar with his fingers. "I didn't know, Sakura. I should have been there for you. I should have noticed."

Sakura pulled away, a mixture of sadness and anger in her eyes. "That's the problem, Kakashi. You didn't notice. You were too busy seeking excitement elsewhere, and I was left here dealing with my own pain and struggles alone."

Kakashi, devastated by the weight of his actions, couldn't find the right words. The reality of how much he had neglected and hurt Sakura hit him with full force.

"Sakura, I'm so sorry," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion. "I never meant for any of this to happen. I never meant to hurt you like this."

"Kakashi..." she whispered his name. "I'm tired. My heart aches, my head hurts. And I don't have anymore tears to cry for us. I can't anymore."

Kakashi, his own eyes filled with tears, reached out to touch Sakura's face. "Sakura, I know I can't undo the pain I've caused you, but please, let me try to make things right. I love you more than anything, and I can't bear to lose you." he pulled her to his chest. "Please, Sakura."

"Why are making this so hard, Kakashi?" Sakura whispered. "I should hate you for all the things you did. But why is it that one hug from you and I'm willing to forget all of your mistakes?" she wrapped her arms around his torso. "I missed us, Kakashi." she cried.

Kakashi held Sakura in his arms, tears streaming down both their faces. The weight of their shared pain and shattered marriage hung heavily in the air.

"Sakura," Kakashi whispered, his voice broken. "I messed up, and I don't deserve your forgiveness. But I love you, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make things right. Please, give me a chance to prove that I can change."

Sakura, conflicted by the love she still felt for him and the hurt he had caused, clung to him. Her heart breaking. "What about the girl?"

Kakashi pulled away, his eyes filled with regret. "Sakura, I... I… when I went here last night and Obito told me you were already sleeping, I left the village and went to her. I sought her to end things with her." He admitted, he needed to be honest. "I ended it, Sakura. You're more important to me. I can't lose you. I chose us. I choose you." He said, looking directly into her eyes. "The affair, my relationship with her - it was a mistake. And I don't want anything to do with her. I want to focus on fixing our marriage."

Sakura, still in his embrace, looked up at him with a mix of skepticism and pain. "How can I believe you, Kakashi? You've already betrayed my trust. What makes this different?"

Kakashi sighed, realizing the uphill battle he faced in rebuilding Sakura's trust. "I know my words mean little now, but I'll show you through my actions. I already cut all ties with her. And if... if it makes you feel better, I will stay in the village. I will not take any missions outside or... or if you want, I'll leave the active service. I'll do anything. Please, Sakura."

Sakura, torn between her lingering love for Kakashi and the deep wounds he had inflicted, took a step back. She looked at him, searching for sincerity in his eyes. She nodded. "Okay." she whispered.

Kakashi, a mix of relief and determination in his eyes, took Sakura's hands in his. "I'll do whatever it takes, Sakura. I promise, I won't let you down again."

Sakura, her heart heavy with both love and caution, nodded again. "Actions, Kakashi. It's going to take more than words to rebuild trust."

Kakashi squeezed her hands gently. "I know, Sakura. I'll show you through my actions that I'm committed to fixing this, to being the man you deserve."

As they stood there, the weight of their broken relationship heavy in the air, Sakura knew that the road to recovery would be long and difficult. Yet, a glimmer of hope flickered in her heart, a hope that Kakashi could indeed change and that they could rebuild what was shattered.
