Chapter 7: Party to remember
Molly and Hikari were at the park. They really loved nature. How calm it was, watching all the trees and birds, it was so relaxing.
''And then he continued to mock me, but I played along'' Hikari was laughing.
Molly was amazed at how many adventures her bestie had while they were apart. Even though she was sad, she still managed to have fun.
''Haha, what a story! Reminds me of how Libby-
Molly was telling her story... But then stopped. She didn't want to talk about Libby... She didn't want to think about Libby... She didn't want to even know Libby exists.
''It... It doesn't matter...'' Molly muttered.
''Who is Libby? A friend of yours?''
''Well... She used to be...''
''Oh... What happened?'' Hikari asked, curious.
''Let's just say... She was mean''
Hikari could tell Molly was sad. She knew her friend... She knew how easily Molly could become friends with the wrong kind of people. No idea who Libby is, but it sounded like she wasn't someone nice.
''If she really was, you don't need to think about her. Remember what we did when Cady made fun of you, right?''
''Who?''
''Cady, don't you remember? The mean girl who used to mock you?''
Molly tried to think. There were some bullies that were making her miserable, but she didn't remember anything about a person named Cady.
''No idea''
''WHAT? Come on, your mom threatened Cady's mom to sue her at one point!'' Hikari said, shocked.
By the look of it, it sounded like that Cady girl really did a lot to Molly. Strange how Molly couldn't remember anything about her... To think about it, she barely remembered anything from her childhood.
''Seriously, I have no idea what you are talking about!''
''Molly, you are so silly sometimes'' Hikari laughed.
Hikari thought Molly was just messing with her, but she really couldn't remember anything. She didn't want to look weird, so Molly just decided to play along.
''Y-Yeah... I sure am...''
''I told you, you have to be careful with what kind of people you are messing with! Some may look friendly, but they could be hidden psychos!'' Hikari said, as she placed her hand on Molly's shoulder.
She never knew Hikari told her such a thing... But she was right.
''You are so wise'' Molly said, looking lovingly at Hikari.
''Just trying to make my girl's life better!''
Y-Your girl?'' Molly said, as she blushed.
Both Molly and Hikari were blushing, they looked like tomatoes.
''You... You get my point'' Hikari said with a little smile.
The sparks between them were obvious. Who knows? Maybe one day... One day she and Molly can be girlfriends again.
...
Samantha was looking all over the house for her DVD. She couldn't find it anywhere, it was getting annoying.
''Ollie? Have you seen the DVD I bought a few days ago?''
No response. It looks like Ollie went out. She continued to search around, but she still couldn't find it. That's when she saw a little piece of candy on the floor.
''Huh?''
It was just one, there was track of them. A long track of fruit candies, leading to the front door. She took one and tried it, it tasted really good. This was a clear trap, but she was falling for it. Samantha started to collect all the candies, going outside... And going close to the open door of the car. Samantha took the last candy and was ready to go back and eat them.
''Tasty candy you have there'' Scratch appeared with a grim smile.
''Oh, hi! Yeah, I guess so... Why are you looking at me like that?'' Samantha asked, when she noticed Scratch's smile.
Scratch was just floating and staring at her... When he suddenly flew behind her, pushed her inside the car, and closed and locked the door.
''HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!''
Ollie and June appeared, they were hiding behind the car. Samantha realized this wasn't some kind of treat... It was a cruel prank.
''Sorry, Sammy. We promise we'll keep you in there for just 10 minutes!'' Ollie said.
''LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT, YOU MONSTERS!''
Samantha was trying to open the door and break one of the windows, but nothing happened. She started to tear up, realizing she'll have to stay inside that car. She was so scared, she started to stress eat the candies she was holding.
''That was kinda cruel...'' June said.
''Meh, it was fun. Darryl would have loved that!'' Scratch, as he still had the same grim smile.
''Speaking of Darryl, where is he? I haven't seen him at all today'' June asked.
''Busy pranking the nerds. If you guys didn't call me for this, I would've joined him''
''Ugh, again? Can he give them a break? Poor kids...'' Ollie said.
While they were chatting, Samantha was eating her candy with tears in her eyes, praying to every single God to get out. She was breathing heavily, her hands started to shake, and her heart was beating like crazy... She was having a panic attack, yet they still didn't let her out.
A memory replayed in her head. The night when it happened... She remembered how she was about to die... She remembered her father's crushed skull... And all the blood coming out of her mother... All of this, while her sister was trying to take her out of the crashed car.
Samantha couldn't take this anymore, she just curled up and started to cry. Ollie, June and Scratch noticed how miserable she was.
''Okay, that's enough! I told you two, that's just too far!'' June said, as she unlocked the car.
Samantha came out from the car with tears in her eyes, and immediately hugged June. She was grateful someone finally stopped this torture.
Ollie and Scratch both had guilty look on their faces... Especially Ollie. That girl trusted him... But he betrayed her like this... He really will struggle to sleep tonight.
...
The sun was slowly going down. Molly and Hikari went inside that mysterious club. They could hear the loud music and also could sense the gross smell of alcohol.
There were many teens and kids... Too many for a place like that. There was a huge party room and a backroom called ''Spiced up''... Both Molly and Hikari didn't even wanted to know what that was supposed to mean.
''That place is... Nice'' Molly said.
''And weird... You know, maybe we should go back to the park or something'' Hikari said, regretting taking Molly here.
''What? Oh come on, just one party night, we deserve it!''
The music became louder. All the people had a great time, but Hikari was starting to feel little nervous about coming here. Her dad was a cop, she knew those places aren't safe.
Molly sure was starting to enjoy her time here. Maybe if she and Hikari are careful to not get carried away with something dangerous, they'll have great night here.
''Wanna share a dance?'' Molly asked with a grim smile.
''Mhhh... Of course!'' Hikari said, as Molly grabbed her hand.
She sure wanted to spend one night with Molly. Just one night for themselves. They'll be careful... She hoped so...
...
''WHAT?!''
Sharon was shocked and speechless. Dr. Reed called her and told her how Molly was hurting herself.
''She confessed it herself and begged me not to tell you, but clearly she is still hiding it. I was planning to wait until tomorrow, but I just couldn't stop thinking about this'' Dr. Reed explained.
''This... This can't be true! Molly was always our happy girl during all twenty three times we moved... Well, twenty four counting coming here in Brighton 3 years ago...''
''Oh, so she is one of those types?''
''What? One of what types?''
''The type that would force positivity to bottle up their negative thoughts and traits until they blow up like an emotional bomb''
Sharon didn't know what to say. Molly wouldn't force a smile to hide her problems... Right?
''Well... Sometimes... Sometimes she really looks like she is covering up...'' Sharon said.
''That's why I suggest going to therapy. Knowing Axel, he really can help Molly''
Sharon thought about it. Sure, they could barely afford a therapist, but to hear her daughter is hurting herself was just terrifying. A horrific thought crossed her mind. Molly said she fall asleep while she was just taking a bath... But is it possible that... She tried to drown herself?
...
It was now nighttime. Hikari and Molly really had an amazing night, partying and dancing. The crowd, the loud music, everything was perfect. Also... Molly and Hikari started to become more and more touchy.
''Having good time?'' Molly asked.
''GREAT time!'' Hikari said, as she placed her hand on Molly's cheek.
''Woah, you aren't planning to kiss me, huh?'' Molly jokingly said... Getting closer to Hikari.
''Mmmm... Maybe''
Molly really liked where this was going... So she kissed her on the lips.
''Happy?''
''Super happy...'' Hikari said with a grim smile.
''Glad to hear that, koibito'' Molly said, as she rubbed her fingers in Hikari's hair.
''Getting playful now, are we?''
''Definitely'' Molly said, as she kissed her again.
Hikari noticed how few people were watching them, which made her nervous. She realized what was happening... Two 15 year old girls, kissing... Definitely something some creeps will enjoy.
''Molly... We should probably go somewhere more private...''
Molly also noticed the looks, but she didn't care at all. All she wanted was to have some fun with her friend.
''Well... Wanna at least get a drink?'' Molly asked, looking at the bar.
''Woah! You... Don't mean like-
''Oh no, no, no! Soda or something like that'' Molly said, as she blushed.
With a sigh of relief, Molly grabbed Hikari's hand and dragged her to the bar. They both sat there for a few minutes, drinking few juices and and sodas. The bartender looked very weird.
''Having fun, kiddos?''
''We sure do!'' Molly said, while Hikari just stayed silent.
Molly noticed what drinks they had. She didn't even read the alcohol section, but she was looking at the more friendly part. Many sodas and juices... And something called ''The special one''.
''What's that?'' Molly asked, as she pointed to the strange drink.
''Ooohhhh... That one is really good... Wanna try?'' the bartender asked with an evil smile.
''Molly! Don't... Just don't...'' Hikari said, worried what this might be.
Molly was confused, but she didn't protest. She refused her order, but the bartender tried to convince her.
''You sure? I guarntee you, your night will become even more fun if-
''We said no! No means no! Also... Not to drag, but my dad is a police officer'' Hikari interrupted, angry.
The moment she said this, the bartender didn't say anything else. He didn't want to get himself into trouble if her dad really is a cop.
''I need to go to the bathroom... Then I think it's time to go home'' Hikari said to Molly.
''Sure, I'll wait you here!''
Hikari walked away, while Molly was staring at the menu... Especially at that last option. She was just too curious. What's so special about it? The bartender noticed this and smiled again.
''She isn't around, kid... I can give you to try it''
''You know what? I would want one!''
''That's the spirit!'' The bartender said, as he got a little cup and poured strawberry soda in it... And put something really suspicious in it.
He gave it to her and Molly first stared at it. Shoud she do it? She is betraying her friend's trust like that. But also what could bad happen by just drinking one cup of soda? Molly then took a deep breath and drank it.
''Have a great time...''
After just 10 seconds... Molly started to feel something strange. A relaxing feeling, followed by cold chills. Then she started to... See things. Her vision became blurry and Molly started to see all the colors of the rainbow. It felt so weird, Molly got up and started to look around.
All the people dancing looked like weird and fun creatures to her. It was scary, but the feeling was so good. Molly looked like a little girl who ate a whole bag of sugar.
''Molly! Come on, let's go!''
Hikari grabbed Molly's arm... Which made Molly to drool. She didn't know why, but suddenly she really wanted to jump at Hikari...
''Hey... You... Are... Veeeeeeeeery pretty'' Molly said... As she kissed her on the lips.
Hikari was surprised by the sudden kiss and saw all the people around them were staring. This was making her very nervous and really wanted to just get herself and Molly out of here.
''Molly... We shoudl-
''Come on... Don't ya wanna have FUN time?'' Molly asked, looking like she was drunk.
Before she could even answer, Molly started to drag her to the weird room with the ''Spiced up'' sign...
''Molly, what are you doing?!''
''Is... Is it free to use?'' Molly asked the guard next to it.
''It sure is free for now... an hour should be enough... Have fun, girls'' The guard said with a mocking and creepy smile.
Hikari was very uncomfortable and she really wanted to just get out of here. Molly dragged her inside... While the guard locked them. Inside, there was just one bed.
''Molly...''
Molly layed her on it... And got on top of her, while she was still drooling.
''I will start very gently...''
Molly started to kiss Hikari. She wanted to run away... But Hikari was starting to enjoy it. The way Molly was touching and kissing her... It was both creepy and cute.
''Huh... Really planning to go easy on me?'' Hikari joked.
''Ohohohoho... NEVER!'' Molly said, as she started to aggressively kiss her.
That feeling from the drink was increasing. Now she could even see Hikari in many colors, which somehow was turning her on. Hikari started to giggle and kiss Molly back.
Molly's veins started to glow... Her vision was becoming more and more blurry and she had very weird hallucinations of dolphins flying around them. Molly and Hikari sure are having pleasurable night...
