Bet you thought that I was dead. I'm still alive! I'm not dead!
Jokes aside, I'm sorry that I've been gone for so long. These past few months have been very trying for me. But I'm here now to tell you that season 7, the final season has been completed. Let's get busy!
Disclaimer: I don't own the Flash.
"Just admit that it was you!"
"I did no such thing. Clearly, the one guilty of any wrongdoing is them!" they gestured to someone else.
"Don't drag me into this. I didn't even want to be here." they grumbled and rolled their eyes.
"Why? Do you have something to hide?" they accused them
"Pretty suspicious if you ask me," they agreed.
"Everyone calm down!" they shouted. "We're getting nowhere with all of this arguing. Let's take a moment and realize THAT IT WAS ALL THEIR FAULT!" they pointed an accusatory finger at them.
"Shut up, you! I'm tired of all your grandstanding. Don't shift the blame to me. I didn't do anything. It was obviously one of them. It's always them."
"Name one time." they both said.
"There is a reason people believe the universe is only 14 billion years old. It's because we destroyed everything that came before! Across the entire omniverse! We didn't leave a shred of evidence that there existed anything before that time!"
"Ah ha! We said to name only one. You couldn't do that. You had to mention the entire history of the omniverse."
"Which just shows how trustworthy you two are."
"Some things never change. Ironic, considering what we all do for a living. You two are so pathetic, why can't you just grow up!"
"My siblings, let's not bring up ancient history. What's done is done. Those events no longer matter. What matters now is for the one responsible to come forward SO THEY CAN BE APPROPRIATELY PUNISHED! WHO'S IT GOING TO BE?"
"They are really scary when they get mad," one of them whispered.
"That comes with the fact that I'm your older sibling." they overheard them anyway.
"Hey, we were all born at the same time. None of us are older than the other."
"And yet your actions reveal such immaturity that it has fallen to me to keep you all in line."
"That's just like you. Always butting into our business. You know what, I bet it was you who broke the deal. Like you said, you've been keeping an eye on us when you know you're not supposed to!"
"The deal was very clear! None of us are supposed to impose on the other. You know what happens to those who break it. Exile!"
"You're so dramatic. It would only be for a few years anyway. And I'm insulted that you all think I could be bothered to get one step into your territories unprompted."
"Well someone did. And none of us are leaving here until we figure out who it was."
"Uggh, this place is so small. You couldn't have chosen a larger venue to do this?"
"It was short notice, and this was the closest place of neutrality for all of us. We all would've been able to go home now if the culprit would just admit to what they'd done. Confess their sins."
"Not everything is so black and white. Didn't you have your own set of problems with the kids just this past year? How do we know it wasn't one of your own to trespass into our lands?"
"I have kept an extensive watch on them. They didn't venture an inch outside of my property. They are of no concern to you. What about yours? They could have gone in and out in the blink of an eye and none of us would have noticed until it was too late."
"Don't distract us from the issue at hand. You were their responsibility. And you just so happened to put in a back door for them to escape through."
"We have gone over this at length. It was necessary. We all agreed to it. We knew it would happen. Just as it always happened. That's old business anyway. New business is to find this trespasser."
"Well if it wasn't one of us, then it was one of the riff raff."
"Have a little more respect. Don't you care about them at all?"
"Should I? They're just a temporary thing. And when one of them is gone, just replace them with another. What's the saying? They're breeding like lagomorphs nowadays."
"I think they're extraordinary."
"You would. You always liked such common things."
"Watch your tongue sibling. And don't deny that they haven't surprised you too with their ingenuity."
"Ha. Well, if you're so fond of them, then I know just the way to settle this dispute."
"Oh? What are you suggesting?"
"We pit our lowlifes against each other. One champion for each. The game goes on until one of us destroys all the others."
"Do you know how many lives would be destroyed? The destruction it would cause? What you're suggesting is-"
"Brilliant. I quite agree, sibling. And in the process, the culprit will either be revealed or destroyed. Either way, I believe this means war."
"This is our war. We don't need to involve them. They have no place in this."
"They're already involved. They represent us. They will fight for us, one way or another."
"Time to call in the troops. And I already have my champion picked out."
"You remember the rules. Our direct influence will be limited, but we will settle this out there. May the best of us win."
"You know it was good to see you after all these years. Despite the circumstances." They called out before it was too late.
Two of them had disappeared without another word, leaving behind their two siblings.
"I can't believe we're allowing this to happen. So many lives will be wiped out."
"Today, tomorrow. It matters little in the grand scheme of things. While I don't agree that we should get them involved, I never understood your fondness for them. They're little more than insects playing in the mud."
"You don't think they are fascinating?"
"I never said that. I just don't think they're worth all the trouble our siblings give you."
"I guess we have no choice though. The terms of war have been decided."
"If you would just admit to your wrongdoing-"
"It wasn't me! You know what, bring it on. I will destroy all of you with my power. I just need to find the right champion."
They too disappeared, leaving only one in the neutral space. They stared at the space where their siblings used to be.
War has begun.
"This is just like the last time we had a family reunion."
Let's go! It's time. The final arc has begun and kudos to anyone who can guess who these people are. It basically tells you what we're going to be dealing with this season. Thank you to everyone who has been here with me through this story. And welcome to newcomers just finding this story.
The adventure officially starts next week on July 5, 2024. Hope to see you all there.
