the episode begin in an assembly at Gotham High, focusing on three students Lenoir, Lewis and William Watt , they whisper among themselves when a coughing at the stage draws their attention
Gotham high principle: greeting students I've called this assembly to inform you that the old coach has been retired and we're bringing in a new one
the room feels the sounds of disappointed jocks and some hopeful noises from some nerds including William
principal: I assure you children that this new coach will be an improvement from the last
he steps away from the mic and gestures over a man in a stereotypical looking coaches outfit, What's up his arm to clear his throat for his speech, he seems to be odious telling by the reactions of the girls at the assembly who pinched their noses and look like they're about to puke, this is mirrored on a lot of the boys faces, except for the drugs who look on upon this man on stage like he's the second coming of football Jesus
new coach( in a jersey sounding accent): athletes of Gotham High, my name is fhilip and I'm here to promise you that I'm going to make you boys into men
The audience a smile revealing a golden tooth on his upper jaw, and his oddly elongated canines, in fact all of his teeth have a bit of a edge to them, not that any of the children notice they're either too and swallowed by his stink or trying the best not to upchuck their lunch
the scene cuts to the hallways Lenoir is gushing About a Boy, her eyes land on the boy, a stereotypical looking emo flipping through a black book, clearly it's something he writes into, Lenore gets a look like she's about to cream her pants and points wildly at the emo
Lenore( in a shout whisper to her brother): there he is the hottest boy in school
Lewis(annoyed look on his face): you know the consensus is that Brad is the hardest boy
Lenore( giving her brother a side eye before glancing back at her Crush): well he's the hottest boy to me, and my opinion matters
Lewis( grumbling): you're totally out of his League Nori
Lenore begins walking over to the emo but before she can open her mouth to try and confess her love, Brad walks up grabs the emo and drags him off, though the noise doesn't see it he has a glassy looking his eyes
Lenore( with an echo in her voice): hey get back here
her attempt of using her powers works for a second as the perfect blonde quarterback pauses and his March, he's shakily turns, a look like he's being pulled between two people in a match of tug of war crosses his face, Lenore gets a look of shock releasing her psychic hold on him and he whips back into his March down the hole dragging the struggling emo behind him
Lewis( shock on his face and voice): what the hell was that
the Lenore shrugs and she has a feeling something's up
later outside waiting for the parents William relays his odd encounter
William( obviously has been talking for a while): then he just looks at me, gives a grunt and then continues walking, I mean Terry isn't a small guy but no matter how much he punched Jack just didn't let go, it's just so weird
his frustration at this mystery causes his powers to flare up and one of his books begins levitating as electricity Sparks in his eyes, noticing this he takes a deep breath and the books with a soft plop back on the bench
a voice that sounds like Terry's but distant and dreamlike: okay coach I'll be back for practice tomorrow, no coach Mr Wayne can handle himself
the sweet people on the bench glance over to see Terry in a Gotham football team uniform his eyes glassy and he begins walking over his steps and his mouth slightly a gape, he sits on the bench next to theirs and looks off into space, Any of our main characters can try shaking him the affirmation coach walks up
fhilip: hello boys, it was ashamed not see you at practice, but it was nice to see this one
he passed the back of Lenore's emo Crush who's wearing a baseball hat and has the same glassy expression as Terry and Brad, The Lenoir out a small gas bat the Emos new look, Lewis and William look like they're about to projectile vomit all over the sidewalk
the coach walks away with a fox like yipping laugh and when he's falling off the emo and Terry seem to come back to themselves look around confused and hold their heads in psychic pain
Lenore: what the fuck happened to you guys
Terry( grunting before beginning to speak): the last thing I remember is being taken to the coaches office, he grabbed me opened his mouth and then nothing, what about you Edgar do you remember anything else
Edgar: I remember as much as you do, God my head hurts
before any of them can start brainstorming what the f*** is going on, Lenore and Lewis's Father show up in their minivan and they have to go home
the next day William is walking in the halls with a ball of water, the cap is off and before he can take a swig he bumps hard into coach fhilip, a bit of water lands on the man's arm and he hisses as his form ripples between man and anthropomorphic Fox, he growls at the boy revealing his canine teeth and letting out a whiff of cigar smelling breath, William blinks sleepily when he takes in the smell capping his drink robotically and beginning to walk like a marching wind up toy
he blinks confusedly when he's far enough away from the coach and the dominant realization of what he saw and what happened to him hits him like a dump truck
Coach fhilip isn't human, and he has a way to control people who aren't jocks,
William( thinking):so that must be what he used to control Edgar and Terry, and I'm pretty sure water neutralizes his body odor, what to use for his breath
looking over William spies a vending machine, his eyes pinpoint on the case of mints and he gets an idea
the credits roll and the final scene is of the words to be continued on a black screen
