Dragon Warriors
in Harmonious Trap
At the catacombs, Connor showed the Warriors the holographic map of the dragon eye, and they were amazed by it that they couldn't find the words to describe it.
"I guess it was worth it." said Maia.
"Yes but. What does it mean?" asked Kaguya.
"I don't know." said Connor. "Luu Luu, you're good with this stuff." he said, then Luu Luu began to observe it.
"Well. I've read maps and symbols but this is different, and the language came from this world not ours." Luu Luu theorized.
"But what about that." Vault pointed the symbol.
"Must be some crest of a tribe or a clan." said Grave.
Yeah, but this map goes beyond East Liverpool." said Luu Luu.
"And why are there dragons in this world that were already discovered?" Celestine spoke. Which left the Warriors to wonder.
"I don't know. But we're gonna find out." said Connor.
They went to visit Harold for help so they can decipher the map of the dragon eye, and they showed him the holographic map.
"Hmm. Now that's interesting." said Harold as he analyzed the map.
"So, what do you make of it?" Connor asked Harold as Shade closed his mouth to deactivate the dragon eye.
"Well, from the hologram and my travel map. I'd say Origa brought dragons to our dimension centuries ago." Harold answered, which surprises the Warriors.
"Really!" said Alicia in shock.
"Yeah. And I think that started the legends of mythological creatures." he said to Alicia.
"Oh, yeah. With this dragon eye, we can discover new species of dragons in this dimension." said Vault with a smile.
"Well if that thing is used to find dragons I'd hide it from someone. Especially, the Ancient Guardians." said Harold.
"The Ancient Guardians?" Connor asked.
"The Ancient Guardians work for Planet Government." answered Harold.
"Figures." Maia said, unamused.
"Ever since dragons started to attack, Jonathan Earth created the Ancient Guardians to protect people from harm. But unfortunately, when they get paid with large amounts of money, they started to be corrupted and decided to only protect rich people." he explained.
"Well that sucks." said Luu Luu in anger.
"That's right. And everyone is so afraid of them, they can't stand up for themselves. All except for one, that happened two years ago." Harold began
Flashback:
Two years ago in East Liverpool, the citizens back away in fear because of the Ancient Guardians, and leading the walk are its highest officials.
The man in the middle has black hair and a beard, and he wears a black suit, and a long white goat with the initial AG on the back. And his name is Victor Gold.
At his left side is a woman with long curly hair, and she wears a red business suit with a red skirt, and wears the Ancient Guardians coat. And her name is Betty Gold, the wife of Victor.
And at Victor's right side is a man with blonde hair, and he wears a tuxedo and like Victor and Betty he wars the Ancient Guardians coat. And his name is Calvin Green.
"Look at them men!" Victor called out. "Look at those people's filled with fear, it proves that we are the most powerful soldiers in this city!" he yelled, as the rest of the Ancient Guardians hollered.
"Yes dear, that is nice." said Betty with a smile.
"Spoiled brat." a voice said, and because of that, the generals feel offended while the citizens shiver in fear.
"Who said that!" Victor demanded. He looked around the area to find the source of the voice so he can tear that person limb from limb.
"You heard me, you're a spoiled brat." Victor turned and spotted, a kid wearing dark clothing, along with a black cape, scarf, mask, and hat. And is holding a weird looking staff. "You think you're high and mighty just because of your wealth and fame. But you're not, you only protect the wealthy to fill your wallets and then left the rest of the people to fend for themselves. And that makes you a spoiled brat." the kid said as he walked towards to the Generals.
But the Generals were dumbfounded that a kid like him would stand up for himself let alone an adult, which causes the people to drop their jaws in shock.
"Listen kid." Victor said to the kid. "You're too young to understand these things but-," until he kid poked his face with his staff. "As I was saying, you're too young to under-," But the kid swinged his staff to force Victor's head to the ground which shocked both the Ancient Guardians and the citizens.
"Hey!" Betty yelled. "You can't go swinging a staff and-," But the kid swinged his staff and tripped Betty to the ground.
"You can't just trip-," But before Calvin can finish, the kid jumped up to wrap his staff around him and pulled him down to the ground, and he uses his staff to jump to the alley to escape leaving the Generals shocked and confused.
""What the heck just happened!?" Victor questioned in utter confusion.
Flashback end:
"For real!?" said a surprised Connor, while the rest of the Warriors are surprised as well.
"For real." said Harold. "No one knows his name but the press called him, the Dragon Thief." he explained.
"The Dragon Thief?" asked Prim.
"Yeah, he steals dragons from to protect them from other people who either want to hunt them or sell them." Harold explained to Prim.
"Right, so we'll just make sure that the dragon eye doesn't fall into the wrong hands." said Vault. "But what does the map say?" he asked Harold.
"Well, the map of the dragon eye is identical to our modern day maps, and locked on it's coordinates. So, you're next stop will be, Kansas City." said Harold.
Then the Warriors flew outside of East Liverpool to Kansas City, and once they've made it, they landed and the Warriors got off their dragons to check the town out.
"Well, this is Kansas City." said Connor.
"Yeah, and hopefully we can find a new dragon to train." said Luu Luu.
"Don't get too excited Luu Luu, we still don't know if there could be dragons in this area." said Claudia. Then suddenly, the heard a strange musical noise, as well as the dragons.
"Do you hear a weird noise?" asked Connor.
"Yeah, and it ain't Post Crush." Vault answered.
"Well whatever it is, it's affecting our dragons." Maia turned to the dragons.
"Well then, let's just follow them." said Connor as he and the Warriors mounted their dragons, and they flew to find the source of the noise.
And they made it to the forest and landed so they can find that weird noise.
"Alright, listen to find that noise." said Connor, and the Warriors began to listen, but they didn't hear it while the dragons really heard the noise and they're being drawn by it.
"Flame, Smoke, what's going?" said Alicia.
"Easy Bomber." said Grave.
"I think the noise is what's causing this." said Vault. And then they heard something coming. And then came out, a purple Thunderdrum and it let out it's sonic roar at the Warriors, but they avoided the blast.
"Flame! Smoke! Fire Wall!" said Prim, then smoke released his smoke around the Thunderdrum, and Flame ignited it which created a fire wall around it, and that causes the Thunderdrum to escape.
"Well that was unexpected." said Connor.
"You're telling me." said Vault as he picked his ears because of the Thunderdrum's attack.
Then they heard a strange roar, like a deer was mutated so with no other choice, the Warriors began to follow it.
They went to the direction of the noise, they've walked for miles, until finally they made it to a valley and to their shock, they saw dragon bones like something or someone ate them, and also dragons who are trapped in a strange golden cocoon.
"What is this stuff?" Kaguya asked as she analyzed the substance.
"It's like amber from tree saps." said Grave.
"Then what's that guy doing here?" Luu Luu pointed, and the Warriors spotted an Ancient Guardian soldier feeing the valley.
"I guess Harold forgot to mention that the Ancient Guardians are all over the world." said Maia with her hands on her hips.
"Yeah but, what sort of creature would trap dragons in amber, and eating them?" Alicia questioned.
And that's when they heard a roar, the Warriors hid and spotted a dragon landing on a ledge of a rock. It has long horns, butterfly-like wings, and shorts arms as hid lead our a roar-like song. The Warriors struggle to hide their dragons from the it's hypnotic roar, and just as their about to blow their cover, the dragon took a trapped Terror and flew away to enjoy its meal.
"Looks like we found the culprit of that song." said Grave.
"Yeah. A Death Song." said Luu Luu. Which got the Warriors' attention. "Because it lures other dragons to its song of death." she explained.
"She has a point there." Claudia spoke.
"Alright, let's free the dragons." said Connor, and the Warriors began to free them.
But trying to free dragons who are trapped in amber is impossible, not even their weapons and just when things are about to get worse, the Death Song came back and it roared.
Shade began to fire but it avoided the blast, and the Death Song spit amber at Shade which trapped him.
"Shade!" yelled Connor, and the dragon began trapping the other dragons in amber. And just as it's about to trap the Warriors, it was hit by a sonic blast, they turned and spotted the Thunderdrum they faced before.
"Saved by the Thunderdrum!" said Luu Luu with a smile.
The two dragons begin to fight, the Death Song tried to spit amber at the Thunderdrum but it dodged it, and it let out a sonic blast which blew the Death Song a few meters back.
Then Vault took out a bola, and he threw it at the Death Song which locked its mouth shut.
"Got it!" Vault smirked.
"But, why hasn't the Death Song trapped the Thunderdrum?" asked Claudia.
"That's because they can barely hear their own roar." Grave answered. And Grave's answer causes Connor to realize something.
"Wait. I think that's it." said Connor as he got something. "The Thunderdrum hasn't been caught because, the Thunderdrum can't hear the Death Song. We just gotta block out the noise." he said.
"How are we gonna block out the noise?" Alicia asked. And this gave Vault an idea.
"The amber." said Vault as the Warriors turned. "We can use them as earplugs." he said to the Warriors.
"That's brilliant. But, we can't free our dragons from the amber, the amber is indestructible." said Kaguya.
"Then if we can't break it." said Vault as he took out a bottle. "Then we'll just have to melt it." he said, as he went to Scar.
"What's that you're holding?" asked Prim.
"Monstrous Nightmare gel." Vault answered as he poured the amber. "Nightmares use their own mucus to set themselves on fire." he said as he finished leaving a trail of Nightmare gel. Then he took out a match and light it, and placed it on the gel, which causes it to set a blazing trail of fire to the dragons. But before the fire can reach them, the Death Song broke free from the bola and took a trapped Gronckle and flew away to eat it.
"This better work." said Maia in a worried tone.
"Don't worry, it'll take him an hour to eat that dragon." Vault smirked.
But he was wrong, the Death Song came back after eating the Gronckle in seconds, and just as it's about to attack, the dragons broke free from the amber and begin blasting at the Death Song. And that's where the Thunderdrum purred at something, the Warriors turned and to their surprise, is a baby Thunderdrum trapped in amber.
The Death Song began to avoid the blasts and begin to attack, but the dragons dodged it. Then Connor mounted on Shade and flew away, but the Death Song gave chase. It chased them to the forest, until they head towards the cave where both Connor and Shade maneuver through the rocks, and made a tight turn where the Death Song crashed to a wall, but it continued to chase them.
And then they made it out to the other side of the cave.
"Now!" Connor yelled, and the Thunderdrum let out his sonic blast at the cave, and the blast caused the cave to collapse which trapped the Death Song.
Later, the Warriors freed the other dragons, including the Thunderdrums baby.
After that adventure, they flew back to East Liverpool.
"Bring I got to tell you, bringing that Nightmare gel was genius." said Grave.
"Thank you." Vault said to Grave.
"I hope we can find new dragons that don't lure us into traps." hoped Luu Luu.
"Me too, Luu Luu." said Connor.
Meanwhile at the Planet Government building, the Generals are watching a surveillance of the Warriors defeating the Death Song.
"Looks like we were beaten by them." said Betty.
"That's right, and the people didn't pay us because we were ordered to deal with that situation." said Calvin.
"Well, if we don't want to disappoint Mr. Earth, we'll just have to step up our game." said Victor as he glared at the footage of the Dragon Warriors.
