L'amour Toujour
C23: Trouble Stirs

As the weeks rolled on into late October, Hermione and Luna were ready to try their first 'assassination attempt' on Dumbledore, since they had received word from Draco that he had already made decent progress on repairing his Cabinet and was about to do some more major repairs that he needed a proper distraction for.
Their plan at this point was rather simple, but had none the less been in the making before they even went back to school, and thanks to Ginny and her covert spying on her brother and his best friend, they had a picked out the perfect moment to deliver the blow, which they hoped would have enough shock factor to send the school in enough disarray to keep eyes off Draco for a while.
They would meet with Ginny after breakfast before going to Hogsmeade together, where they with the use of a memory charm compel one Katie Bell to deliver a cursed necklace to the Headmaster, although they already knew that it would never get there, because in the same memory charm would also be a compulsion for her to put it on, which would make it seem that she was badly cursed.
The best part of their plan was that she would not remember who gave it to her, only that she was meant to give it to the Headmaster.
This is what led them to wake up a bit giddy, and of course Luna had a lot of trouble keeping her hands off her sister because of it, placing soft kisses against the brunette's neck as they took their time to properly wake up.
"Lu, you know we don't have time for this right now. We might miss our window if we get carried away." Hermione said only mildly admonishing.
The blonde smiled at her. "I know, but I can't help it. You know how I get when I'm giddy."
Hermione smiled and rolled herself on top of her sister. "I know, and I promise that when we get back and our mission is successful that I will do everything you want."
Luna's smile brightened at that as she kissed her sister. "I'm going to hold you to that sister, but do we really have to get out of bed already? I'm so comfortable."
Hermione smiled at her. "I think we can get away with a few more minutes of cuddling before we have to go and get dressed. We will need a proper breakfast if we don't want to put suspicion on ourselves."
Luna nodded and relaxed as Hermione settled herself back against her sister's side, tracing random lines on her sister's stomach while at the same time reveling in the silky smooth skin. "Sometimes I'm very jealous of you Lu. You still have that silky smoothness to your skin."
The blonde blushed a little at that. "Thank you 'Mione, but I honestly say that I am sometimes jealous of you too. You have all of Mama's curves that I clearly lack and I can't help but feel envious of your body sometimes."
Hermione smiled sweetly and kissed the blonde softly. "I'm more than sure that now that you've completed your bond with Gabrielle, that you two will start to mature a bit faster than nature intended, and I have a feeling that you will be a mirror image of Mummy before everything is over. I've noticed the same with myself after all and given how much we've mirrored each other in everything so far, I am sure that this is no different. As a matter of fact, I can definitely see some subtle changes already. You've definitely gotten a bit more defined in certain areas." She said as she let her fingers trail to her sister's hips.
Luna moaned softly and smiled at her sister. "Thank you 'Mione. That means a lot to me. I'm so afraid that I'll stay this awkward little girl forever."
Hermione smiled and pulled the blonde into her arms, sensing that her sister needed reassurance more than intimacy right now. "That will never happen Lu. It's just that you're only fifteen and Mama did tell us women in our family are somewhat late bloomers, and I think we are both prime examples of that, because I also have issues with how I've developed."
Luna smiled and kissed the brunette softly as she cuddled further into her sister's arms. "I suppose it is also something that women in our family do, because I've heard not only our mothers but also our aunts and even Dora talk about the fact that they were insecure about their bodies when they were growing up. I'm glad to have you here with me 'Mione. I don't think I could've gotten through the last few years without you."
"There is no place I would rather be Luna, besides maybe at home with our mothers, mates and the rest of our family." Hermione said softly.
Luna smiled at that. "That I can completely agree with. It's not that I dislike school, but it does seem a bit redundant now. We've learned more from our mothers in one summer than we have in the majority of our time at school."
Hermione nodded at that. "I agree, but I also think we both know that our mothers wouldn't want us to drop out unless we wouldn't be safe anymore, and so far I think that we are able to keep threats at bay easily enough."
Luna nodded at her. "I know, and it's not that I want to drop out, because I do want to have my O.W.L. at least. My N.E.W.T. are a whole other matter entirely."
"I feel the same Lu, but that is something we have time to decide. After everything has settled down we have plenty of time to think about what we want to do with our lives, although I will admit I am curious about what your plans are. It is one of the few things we've never talked about." Hermione said with a soft smile.
Luna smiled at her. "I'll tell you later, when we're back here and don't have a plan to execute, because you're right, we have to hurry if we want to make our window."
Hermione only nodded and smiled as they got out of bed to get dressed, since they had indulged a little bit longer than they wanted to.
…
As Hermione, Luna and Ginny made their way to Hogsmeade after breakfast, they had significant issues containing their smiles on what they were going to do, because Ginny would be as much a part of their plan today, since she would provide the distraction that would make sure they could perform their mission successfully.
They had already agreed on meeting up in the library tomorrow to speak of the results, and to talk about potential points of improvement, because even with all of the planning they did, they all knew that something would go wrong today.
"It's weird that I feel so calm right now? Because I feel that I should be a lot more nervous." Ginny said softly.
Hermione smiled at her. "There is no need to be nervous Gin, no one will actually get hurt today. We only need people to think that they are. It'll be enough for Draco to have some peace and quiet while he does his work, which is frankly what we are doing this for. His efforts will make sure all other plans can go forward, hopefully not to long from now."
Ginny nodded at that, knowing exactly what the brunette meant. "I hope so too, because I honestly won't be held responsible for what happens to my brother if he keeps antagonizing me about my friendship with you two. It is seriously getting on my nerves and it becomes harder not to Bat Bogey the ever living hell out of him."
The sisters smiled at her. "I would pay to see that happen, but I have a feeling that it isn't out of him wanting to be a protective older brother and more about Dumbledore tasking them with keeping you on their side, and he sees us as a threat to that because who are parents are." Luna said softly.
Ginny smiled and nodded at them. "I know, but I doubt they all realize by trying to control me it only drives me further to you two. I sometimes feel like you two are my sisters more than my friends, because I feel so comfortable with you two. I've told you two things I haven't even told the twins, and I share nearly everything with them."
Hermione and Luna shared a look at that. "We feel the same for you Ginny. You've become more than just our closest friend in recent months, but something more akin to a sister."
Ginny smiled at them. "That means a lot to me to hear you two say that, although I would appreciate to not be as close to you as you two are to each other."
They both laughed lightly at that, and decided to tease the redhead. "I don't know Gin, it might help us become even closer." Luna said with a wink.
That made Ginny blush darkly. "Don't think I've never thought about it, okay. Ever since I've come to the realization I like women you two have been very prominent in my fantasies."
Hermione smiled at that. "It is natural to see your best friends in new ways when one comes to such realizations, Gin. Seriously though. I doubt it will get that far. You know that we are this close because of our conception, and the soul we share with our mothers."
"I know, but the line between your teasing and seriousness has become a bit blurred over the last few weeks. My brain doesn't work as fast as yours does." Ginny said softly.
"We know Gin, and that's okay. The only reason that we are so in sync with each other is because of the connection we share. You should hear us when our mothers are here, because it is ten times as bad then." Luna said with a soft smile.
Ginny smiled at them. "I'll gladly believe that. I grew up with Fred and George if you remember, and yes they've always been like that."
Hermione smiled at her. "We figured, since you need a special kind of connection to achieve that level of chaos, or be called Nymphadora Black apparently, because according to both herself and our aunt, she also has a penchant for causing chaos."
"I'll happily believe that, given everything you two have told me about her, and I'll admit that every day I'm becoming more intrigued by her." Ginny said softly.
Hermione and Luna were a bit surprised to hear that, but gave the redhead a smile. "If you want, we could ask her to come to Hogsmeade when we visit next. I'm sure she'd make time for her dear nieces."
Ginny blushed a little at that. "I'd like that, but only if it is not an inconvenience for her. I would hate to keep her from anything important."
"Honestly, I'd say she'd welcome the break. In all her letters she always complains about her lack of free time and how she wants to see us more. We were actually planning on extending such an offer to her already. If someone deserves a day off, it's her." Luna said with a soft smile.
Ginny nodded and smiled at that. "I can imagine. From what you've all told me she works very hard to keep your entire family's finances in check, which with a family as old as yours I can't imagine being easy."
The sisters nodded and smiled at her. "Thankfully she is usually light on details, but from what we can gather, it isn't, but for some reason she enjoys doing it because for her it is a way she can make herself useful without having anything to do with the Order on a regular basis." Hermione said softly as they walked onto the bridge that led into Hogsmeade.
"What I wouldn't give to have that luxury, but unfortunately my Mom gave me little choice in that, since we spent the majority of our summer in those dull meetings." Ginny said softly.
They smiled and gave her a side hug as they walked to the Three Broomsticks, Ginny splitting off from them just as they entered so she could prepare her part, being distracting Potter and her brother long enough for them to implement their plan.
…
As they took a seat in one of the corner booths of the inn, they did their best to blend in, while at the same time watching everyone that came in or left the establishment. "How are you feeling Lu? Still doing okay?" Hermione asked softly.
Luna nodded and smiled at her. "I'm, fine 'Mione. I just hope we don't have to wait too long. The longer we have to wait, the more suspicious we'll look."
Hermione nodded in agreeance. "That's true, but I saw her walk ahead of us, so I have a feeling that she'll be in soon enough. Until she does we can spend a little while enjoying ourselves and pretend to be normal teenagers." She said with a wink.
Luna giggled a little at that. "Wouldn't that be nice? Not that I would trade what we have now for the world, but I would've liked to spend my childhood with you and our mothers more than anything."
"I know exactly how you feel. I certainly don't regret the last year, but I can't help but think every day how it would've been if we had actually grown up together." Hermione said with a soft smile.
Luna smiled at that as they saw Katie Bell enter the inn with one of her friends, followed by a clear commotion outside.
Seeing this as their chance, Hermione cast a quiet compulsion charm on the two girls to join them at their table, while Luna covertly warded the area around their booth, and the moment they did Hermione handed her the package. "I need you to deliver this to Dumbledore, and only to him. You are not to look inside." She said softly as she laced her words with the charm her mother had taught her, a charm that would ensure Katie and her friend would not know who had given this to them and would not remember meeting the sisters in Hogsmeade today. It would also ensure that she would try and put on the necklace herself, which was exactly what they needed to happen.
Katie and her friend nodded dumbly and quickly left, both of them talking quietly among themselves like nothing had happened.
Not soon after they left an irate Ronald Weasley and Harry entered, both of them glaring daggers at the sisters, to which they couldn't help but laugh among themselves before they got up and made their way out of the inn, unsurprisingly with the two idiots hot on their trail.
They already knew what was going to happen of course, but in order not to arouse suspicion, they would have to appear being shocked about what was about to happen.
When they were about halfway back to Hogwarts, they saw how Katie took the necklace out of the box and immediately was lifted into the air and began screaming as the curse took hold of her, and it truly took every single bit of their willpower not to smile.
Within seconds there was a crowd gathering around Katie, and in an attempt to appear interested, they watched as Snape appeared and proceeded to care for the girl, apparating away soon after, but not before a quick glance to the two sisters, pride shining through momentarily.
Figuring that they would only be tempting fate if they stayed longer, they made their way back to the Castle at a leisurely pace, both of them barely able to keep the smiles from splitting their faces about the success of their plan.
Of course their newfound shadows were closely behind them, and while it would be easy for them to taunt them into a fight right now, they knew it would only settle their beliefs that they had been behind this, which was a hassle they didn't want to deal with at the moment.
After a while the two gave up and pushed past them in an attempt to get back to the Castle before them and undoubtedly share their suspicions with McGonagall.
Hermione and Luna only smiled at them as they swung their linked hands. "Did you see the look on their faces? If only I could make a portrait of that. It would be a constant source of amusement." Luna said softly.
Hermione smiled at her sister. "I know. If I didn't know any better I'd say they know, but we both know that is impossible."
Luna nodded at that. "I also can't wait to hear what exactly Ginny said to them, because I don't think I've ever seen either of them look that pissed before."
"I'm sure we'll hear all of the details tomorrow Lu, but I am sure it was monumentous, given how eager they seemed to hex us just now. For a moment I thought we would need to actually fight them." Hermione said softly.
Luna smiled at her as they walked back onto school grounds, and already it was abuzz with activity, but as per usual people paid little attention to them as they made their way back to Ravenclaw Tower.
On their way back they were stopped by Professor Flitwick. "If I may have a moment of your time, I would like to ask yo a few questions about what happened in Hogsmeade. Did you by any chance see what happened?"
"No Professor, all we saw was her being cursed by something. We left early because we didn't want to deal with the constant glares from Potter and Weasley. It is really like they think that whenever something happens we are somehow involved just because of what our last name is." Hermione said appropriately agitated.
Flitwick nodded sympathetically at them both. "I'm sorry once again that you have to deal with this prejudice. I assure you that me asking this is nothing personal, we are asking everyone who went to Hogsmeade today about what happened."
They both nodded at him. "We understand Professor. From you we don't take it personally. You've done everything in your power to help us over the years and we will always be grateful for that." Luna said kindly.
Flitwick smiled and nodded as he sent them on their way, Hermione and Luna taking that moment to make their way up to the bedroom.
…
The moment the two sisters were in their shared bedroom, they embraced each other as they laughed to their heart's content. "Sweet Morgana that was easier than I thought it would be." Hermione said as she let herself fall to the bed, while Luna flicked her wand to disrobe them both before joining her sister on the bed.
"I totally agree with you there, 'Mione. If it wasn't for Ginny I'd say that all of Gryffindor is as stupid as they look." Luna said with a bright smile.
Hermione smiled and kissed the blonde softly. "I have a feeling that the old man might have been involved in her sorting, because she would also make a very good Slytherin or Hufflepuff. She clearly is not lacking in ambition and she has proven to be more than just a little bit loyal."
"I think she was a hat-stall like you were, because I think she would've done great in every house." Luna said softly as she crawled on top of the brunette.
Hermione smiled at her as the blonde straddled her. "I have no doubt that she would've, but am I to understand from your current position that you are invoking the terms of our agreement this morning?"
"You can bet that cute butt I am, although my current position has little to do with what I want today. It was merely a surefire way to ensure I had your attention." Luna said with a sultry smile.
Hermione grinned just as sultrily at her. "I'm all ears Lu. What can I do for my increasingly more horny sister?"
Luna smirked and bent down so that she was right next to Hermione's ear. "I want you on all fours with that butt in the air."
That made Hermione blush a bit, since she hadn't even done something like that with Fleur before. "I'm not sure if I'm entirely comfortable with that Lu. I haven't even done something like that with Fleur yet."
Luna smiled sweetly at her. "I promise that you will love it. I just want to eat you out from behind for a change. The first time Gabi and I did that was like unlike anything I had ever experienced before."
That made Hermione feel a little bit more at ease as she nodded at the petite blonde, who then got off her so she could get into position, all the while blushing brightly, since after everything they had done together this would be something completely new for her.
Luna on her turn couldn't help but smile at the sight of her sister's wonderful butt being presented to her, and she just couldn't resist placing a soft peck on both of her sister's cheeks. "You have such a pretty butt, 'Mione. It is the one thing I will forever be jealous of." She said as she positioned herself right behind her sister before taking a long lick up her sister's soaking pussy.
Hermione moaned loudly and immediately grasped at the sheets as Luna started kept licking her in such a vulnerable position, and in the back of her mind she immediately formed a plan to get Fleur in such a position the moment they had the chance, and the mere thought of having her mate on display like that sent an immediate shot of pleasure down her spine and straight to her soaking core.
Luna of course noticed and drove her tongue deeper into her sister's tight pussy. "What naughty thoughts are running through your mind, 'Mione? Could it have something to do with having your mate's perfect posterior in such a position?"
"Of course it is. I've been dying to take things further with Fleur and this has been at the top of my list for a while now." Hermione said softly.
Luna smiled and gave her sister's butt a generous squeeze. "I can imagine, and I promise you that it is truly an experience like no other when doing this to someone you love. I can tell you that I am enjoying this immensely."
Hermione smiled at that. "I can't wait to return the favor Lu. I've been dying to get more intimately acquainted with that pert butt of yours for a while now."
Luna smirked at that. "I will gladly let you return the favor if you're okay with it 'Mione, but it wouldn't do if I didn't make you cum first." She said with a wink.
Hermione only smiled and moaned as Luna dove right back in to eating her out, and doing an amazing job of it, and therefor it didn't take long for her to scream out her orgasm, slumping down to the mattress afterwards. "Sweet Morgana, I don't think I ever came harder in my life." She said softly.
Luna smiled and quickly cuddled up to her sister. "I take it that was satisfactory then?" She asked teasingly.
Hermione smiled dreamily at her and nodded at her sister. "That is putting it very lightly, Lu, and if you can give me a few minutes to regain feeling in my legs, I'll more than gladly return the favor."
Luna smiled and kissed her. "Of course 'Mione. I already know you have a magical tongue, so I have no doubt you'll leave me a shuddering mess by the time you're done."
Hermione smiled at that. "That is my goal, since I have a feeling we both need to be as relaxed as possible before dinner tonight."
Luna smiled at her as they cuddled up for a little while before Hermione rolled her sister to her stomach and kissed a straight line down her back. "So bold of you sister. I hadn't expected this of you just yet." She said teasingly.
Hermione smiled and bit her sister's butt lightly. "I can't help it. I just need to do this to satisfy my curiosity. I want to make you feel as good as you made me feel."
Luna just smiled at her as she propped herself up on her knees. "I am sure you will 'Mione. I have no doubts about that."
Hermione merely smiled at her as she took a moment to bask in the beautiful view she was presented with, and she just couldn't resist running her hands over the pale cheeks. "I can honestly say that I've never been more enamored with a butt then right now. You have an amazing ass Lu."
Luna smiled at her. "It's all yours for the moment, sister." She said with a wink.
Hermione smirked and placed two soft kisses on those beautiful pale cheeks before she too took a long lick up her sister's slit, like the blonde had done for her.
As usual when they did things like this together, Hermione quickly lost herself in pleasuring her sister, and as happened more and more these days, she couldn't help but worry about the implications for both of them when they would finally sit down and talk about the truth of their feelings.
Because of how lost she was in Luna's sheer perfection, she barely noticed how her sister screamed out her orgasm only a few minutes later, and like the blonde had done for her, she brought her down with soft kisses and touches to her sister's thighs.
Once the blonde had come down from her orgasmic high, Hermione cuddled up to her sister. "Did you enjoy yourself there Lu?"
"Immensely so 'Mione. I can honestly say that I only enjoyed this more with Gabi, but you are a very close second." Luna said softly.
Hermione only smiled and kissed the blonde softly as they basked in the afterglow of their lovemaking, neither of them wanting to break the comfortable silence they had created now.
…
The following day Hermione, Luna and Ginny met in the Library after breakfast, once again tucked in their private corner under the safety of a slew of privacy charms so they could talk about what happened yesterday.
"So, I would say that yesterday couldn't have gone any better if we tried, unless I missed something that happened in the Three Broomsticks." Ginny said with a smile.
Hermione and Luna smiled at her. "The only thing that did not go to plan was her friend being there, which honestly was something we should have planned for, but other then that I don't think we could've planned it any better, and in large part that is thanks to you. You did a great job of distracting those two." Hermione said with a kind smile.
Ginny grinned at them. "It was shockingly easy to be honest. I didn't even have to instigate anything. Ron and Harry of course started grilling me about spending time with you two the moment I was alone, and for once I wasn't inclined to hold back my thoughts on them trying to control my life, and as you might imagine they were less than pleased with that. That became a huge row that certainly got plenty of attention, and I hope created the distraction that you needed."
"Oh it certainly did, because I'm sure no one paid any attention to us when we handed over the necklace." Hermione said with a soft smile.
"I was wondering how you did it. It looked like she had a pretty violent reaction to touching it." Ginny said softly.
Luna smiled at the redhead. "That was by design Gin. While she probably be out of commission for a while, she won't have any lasting effects of that curse. It had to be potent if it was to be believable."
Ginny nodded at that. "I know, and it has certainly created a buzz. The Headmaster pulled Ron and Harry aside when they came back, and of course my brother couldn't help but gloat over the fact that they should covertly find out who was responsible, and while Harry thinks it was Draco for some asinine reason, Ron of course thinks you two are involved."
"Well, he's not wrong of course, but I'm sure that he will never connect those particular dots." Hermione said with a soft smile.
Ginny nodded and smiled at that. "Of course he won't. There are only a couple of people in the family that have that particular mental capacity, and two of those are firmly on our side."
Hermione and Luna smiled at that. "For which we are glad too, because I think with the twins we'll be able to cause to proper chaos in the coming conflict, because I'm still loathe to call it a war." Luna said softly.
"I think everyone but the Order wants to think like that, but unfortunately it is what they want, since they believe that there is no other choice but to end this with violence, and while it seems inevitable, I think it's admirable that you all want to end this as painlessly as possible." Ginny said softly.
Luna smiled at that. "That has always been the goal Gin, from what I've always heard we've always just reacted to things the Order did, and now seeing what Dumbledore specifically did and is still doing, I know what our mothers and aunts have told us is the truth."
Ginny nodded at that. "I can imagine, because while I've heard the opposite at home, having seen how Dumbledore treats people like pawns in his own twisted game as well as his willingness to let people die for it, I can only sympathize with the right side, the side my best friends are on."
The sisters smiled and hugged her tightly. "We're so glad to have opened your eyes Gin, because both of would've hated to have this cause a rift between us."
"Like I would ever let that happen. I am sure that even without you two opening my eyes I would've found out the truth eventually and then would've joined the right side of this war. In my case blood is not thicker than water." Ginny said softly.
"Then we are glad to have been able to open your eyes beforehand, since I am sure it has contributed to the strength of our friendship. We wouldn't have shared everything we have learned over the summer with anyone that we both didn't implicitly trust." Hermione said with a soft smile.
Ginny smiled at that. "I know, since you two are both very private people, which only makes me feel more thankful for everything you've shared with me."
Luna smiled at the redhead. "We knew upfront that it would be safe to tell you because you've proven time and again that we can trust you above all others in school, besides maybe Draco, but he's family so that doesn't really count."
Ginny giggled at that. "Yeah, I think I know better than most how it can be a blessing or a curse to have relatives in school."
They nodded and smiled as they purposely shifted the focus of their conversation to other topics, since they wouldn't want to make other people suspicious about why they had warded the area so thoroughly.
