Chapter 507 Solutions and Schemes

Samantha, Alcor, Kai, Nyx, Ying, Elise, the Gravity Falls gang, and the Eliminator took Chi and headed out of the storage area and to one of the upper floors of the Lady Lucktopus Cato find Chi a locker room to shower and get the blood off of her. Alcor used his powers to remove the blood from Chi's outfit as she got showered. Most of the group except for Kai waited outside the washroom as Chi cleaned herself off. Stan made a call to Finn on his phone informing the others where they were and what had happened. Finn and his group got the message and headed that way picking up Gata BMO, Locke, Undyne, Hunter Wizard, and Huntress Wizard along the way to meet with the Gravity Falls gang.
Chi finished showering and had wrapped herself in a towel to step out. Kai sat on a bench waiting for her.
"How are you feeling?" Asked Kai.
"Better, but...I'm still pretty...shook up about killing that woman." Said Chi taking a seat next to Kai.
"Why is that exactly?" Asked Kai.
"Well I thought those women were some kind of androids. My father has a factory that produces life-like robots for combat use and personal use. The ones designed are used for combat are usually dressed all in black like ninjas with their faces covered and concealed, so when I saw the Daughters of Aku I assumed they were nothing more then androids programmed to come after me. When the one I sliced started bleeding blood and the mask came...off I was shocked to see that it was a human." Said Chi.
"Any idea who those women were or who could have sent them?" Asked Kai.
"No idea. My father has a fair amount of enemies." Said Chi.
"So why did killing that woman shake you up?" Asked Kai.
"It...was my first kill. I've seen my fair share of violence from my father in how he deals with people whether punishing minions who failed him or with some people who refuse to obey or honor him. It was intense, but usually swift and not too violent. At least those people usually walked away or were thrown in the dungeon. I never cared too much about those things, until I met Mimi and found out what torture her father put her through, that I became uncomfortable with the idea of hurting others to a great extreme. Then I met Nyx and the others and though I have joined in on a few fights, I have never killed...anyone. I...saw that woman's...life leave her body...and it was my fault!" Said Chi as a few tears fell from her eyes.
Kai looked at Chi not sure what to do to comfort her. Samantha stepped into the room carrying clean clothes for Chi and took everything in. The cyborg had heard everything with her advanced hearing.
"Hey what happened wasn't your fault Chi. You were defending yourself and you had no idea the person you were fighting was a human. It was accident. The real ones to blame are the Daughters of Aku and whoever sent them after you. So don't beat yourself over what happened." Said Samantha.
"But...I'm...a monster." Said Chi.
"No you're not. A real monster would feel no remorse about what they did. You feel remorse for the person you killed even if they were trying to kill you. It lived a really long time and I've seen plenty of monsters. Trust me you're not one." Said Samantha.
"Thank...you." Said Chi already feeling a little better.
"Now get dressed and will figure out something fun to do." Said Samantha handing the clones to Chi and left the room.
Chi and Kai sat in the bathroom together for a few silent seconds then Kai spoke.
"Back in the fight you called me your sweet girlfriend. I...didn't know you felt that way about me like that."
"It was kind of sudden, but...that's how I feel about you. You're kind and strong. You've protected me and I just enjoy being with you." Said Chi.
"Well I'm honored and I feel a bit of the same way, but let us take things a little slowly and see how things go." Said Kai.
"I agree. We got plenty of time to figure things out." Said Chi.
The two smiled at each other and Kai left the room so Chi could change into her clothes. Chi got dressed and headed outside a little later.
Outside Finn, Fern, Phoebe, Jake, Vivian, Heckapoo, Rock Wizard, Brain Wiz, Ser Manuel, Quote, Viper, Loke, Sans, Papyrus, Mack, Hornet, two Wizard Cops, the Eliminator robot, Gata BMO, Locke, Undyne, Hunter Wizard, and Huntress Wizard joined up with the Gravity Falls gang and Chi's group and they each told each other about their crazy adventures and fights. As all that happened Samantha pulled Alcor to the side to discuss some concerns.
"I think that King Dice has a connection or knows something about the crazy people who attacked Chi and tried to kill her." Said Samantha.
"I was thinking the same thing. King Dice purposely got us to fight against a couple of his fighters to keep us away from Chi and the others." Said Alcor.
"First I find hints that Klarion might have killed Nyx's parents and now we have some group of assassins trying to kill Chi." Said Samantha.
"Not to mention what kind of horrible treatment the Gunslinger Lich put Elise through." Said Alcor.
"It seems like most of the people in our little group are messed up and dealing with stuff." Said Samantha.
"Lucky for them they got someone like you to watch out for them and lead them." Said Alcor.
"Leader?" Asked Samantha.
"You're the leader Samantha. You're the oldest and you always take charge of situations." Said Alcor.
"Well I did use to lead a little gang a long time ago and I had a good amount of authority on the Zalost." Said Samantha.
"You already have experience. Now what should be our next course of action?" Said Alcor.
"I would like to confront King Dice and integrate him about the Daughters of Aku, but the evidence we have is circumstantial at best, plus we're on his turf with all his goons. For now will just have to wait and keep an eye out for the Daughters of Aku and keep Chi and the others safe. We should also keep an eye out for any opportunities or leads that could give us any information on the assassins." Said Samantha.
"Very good." Said Alcor.
"Let's let Chi and the others have a little fun here and enjoy themselves. I don't think the Daughters of Aku will try anything in public especially after a fight that cost them one of their own." Said Samantha.
"Agreed." Said Alcor before he and the others rejoined the main group.
"So what's the game plan now?" Asked Jake tuning the golden lute.
"Right now will take a little break and enjoy the casino, but be on the lookout for any enemies. Just because the fighting stopped after the concert doesn't mean there isn't any danger lurking about." Said Finn.
With that said the friends and allies split into group to go enjoy themselves with the local games and entertainment.
Elsewhere Ashi and her remaining sisters were in another storage area thinking about their next move. Ashi looked down at the dead body of Avi. The oldest Daughter of Aku felt a mix of sadness and anger over the death of her sister. Since they could walk and speak the Daughters of Aku had trained hard together working as a unit to overcome whatever their Mother the High Priestess could throw at them, until they were ready to kill Chi and gain the approval of Aku to stand by his side. The attempt on Chi's life had failed and now one of the Daughters of Aku was dead.
Ashi needed to report this to the High Priestess at once. She removed her mask and pulled out a small mirror about the size of her palm, it was a magical mirror capable of contacting the Cult of Aku, that the High Priestess had given Ashi and instructed her how to use it. The mirror began to swirl and a image of the High Priestess appeared.
"Report Ashi. Is the false heir dead?" Said High Priestess.
"No...mother. We failed...and Avi was killed in the attack by Chi herself." Said Ashi showing the High Priestess the body of Avi.
For several seconds the High Priestess said nothing and then she spoke.
"Disgraceful! You not only failed to kill the child, but one of you were killed by that sorry excuse for a child of Aku! I spent years training and giving you what you need to succeed, yet you fail and bring dishonor to both me and Aku!"
"Mother...we tried our best and did well against Chi's friends and allies. Chi only managed to survive and kill Avi by pure luck. It won't happen again." Said Ashi.
"You better hope her luck doesn't hold out. Now I shall bring you back to the lair for a full report and to lay Avi to rest." Said High Priestess.
There was a flash of light and a black swirling portal appeared before the Daughters of Aku. The sisters grabbed Avi's body and went through the portal finding themselves in the lair of the Cult of Aku. The portal closed as the High Priestess approached the sisters with a few of the cultists behind her. The cultists took Avi's body and walked away with it.
"Do not fret or shed tears for your sister. Avi died because she was weak. Her death brings shame to us and Aku. Turn that shame into rage and use it to kill Chi, when next you meet." Said High Priestess.
"Yes mother." Said the Daughters of Aku.
"What is our next move?" Asked Ashi.
"I am currently working with an ally who is providing us with information on Chi. Information that will aid us greatly, when the time is right for us to strike. Now train and rest up. I want you to be ready for the kill." Said High Priestess.
The Daughters of Aku turned to leave, but the High Priestess stopped Ashi. Ashi turned to her mother, who slapped her hard across the face.
SLAP!
"Don't you ever dare fail me and bring disgrace to be and Aku! Do so again and you will be severely punished!" Said High Priestess.
"Yes...mother." Said Ashi wincing a little bit before walking away.
The High Priestess looked up at the massive statue of Aku and spoke to it.
"I promise you, your true daughters will not fail and they will bring you glory."
Back in the Underground, Toffee and Rasticore were sitting at a bar in Waterfall sipping drinks. The two of them had watched Siren's concert and had witnessed all the fighting that had happened. Toffee had to admit the hero known as Finn was indeed strong and so were his allies. They had a good deal of potential in locating Horror's Hand and beating Laser Wizard and his group. Even with the aid of the Gunslinger Lich's forces their was no guarantee that Laser Wizard would succeed against Finn and the group he was with. Toffee needed to take them out of commission or find some way that would greatly Henderson the human hero and his group.
Toffee thought about all his options. He could launch an attack on them with the aid of Rasticore and LeChuck and his crew, Finn and his allies had already had a big battle, so their was a good chance they could be worn out and be easy to take out, but Toffee didn't want to leave it up to chance. Toffee considered going to the Lady Lucktopus and poisoning Finn and his team, but he would need a fairly strong poison that couldn't be detected and figure out a way to get it into their bodies without being noticed. He then saw a pamphlet nearby offering spa treatments and this gave Toffee a clever idea.
Toffee headed outside with Rasticore and headed to a little potion shop owned by Klungo and headed inside. The lizard browsed the shelves picking up a few bottled ingredients and examined them closely. If it was something he needed he would carry it if it was something he didn't need he just simply put it away. In a matter of minutes Toffee had over a dozen different ingredients together that he then purchased, before he and Rasticore left the shop.
"What's all that stuff for?" Asked Rasticore.
"A little surprise for our human enemy and his allies." Said Toffee.
"What kind of surprise?" Asked Rasticore.
"Let's just say it'll really change them." Said Toffee with a smirk.
Toffee then pulled out his communication crystal and made a call to King Dice. He knew about King Dice through, his association with his boss and the organization.
"Hello there. King Dice is the name and deals are my game. What can I do for you?" Said King Dice.
"My name is Toffee and I'm an associate of your boss. We all share some common enemies and I have a little plan to greatly hinder them on their quest, I just simply need to borrow one of your facilities for a bit." Said Toffee.
"Oh you can have my full support. Whatever you need just ask." Said King Dice.
"Excellent." Said Toffee with a grin before ending the call.
Toffee contacted LeChuck and his crew and he had them pick up him and Rasticore to take them to the Lady Lucktopus to put their plan into action.
