The scene opens up to show TME waiting for Atomsk as TME sighs when he lowered his phone…
"Fuck… that was… hard to do…" TME muttered while his phone showing on the FFN mobile App showing ZERO stories…
"Don't tell me twice." Said a voice and it was Atomsk with a hard to read look.
TME was quiet before he offered Atomsk a diet soda.
"Want a drink?... least we prepped man for the inevitable when it happened… it was a long run on FFN but all good things must come to an end… least we are going out on OUR own terms." TME said while he gave Atomsk a small smile since Atomsk and TME prepped for this very day long ago.
Atomsk sighs as he takes a seat.
"Yeah… just didn't think it'll happen soon."
"Nearly 10 years man… I looked before deleting it and we were nearly working on FFN with stories for a decade… least wished we lasted a bit longer… who knows… depending on the date we did last 10 years on FFN… least it will continue on Archive of our own… things may change but least we stay best buds in writing stories people enjoy…" TME said while he pats Atomsk's back.
"Yeah…" Atomsk said.
"May as well say the news now."
"Yeah… to help with making sure that if we post this in a certain fandom on both our sides later when FFN comes back online for desktops or if we can use the mobile app since this is a short chapter… hey Surge!... Sonic!... come on out!... bring Emerald as well since he is the OG OC who helped with starting all this with Atomsk and I and Cedric as well since he is the OG DDS protag that Emerald taught things." TME said while he looks outside of the room…
After hearing this, said speeders came back with Emerald and Cedric.
"Yo… heard the news man… seriously a bummer in what happened." Sonic said as Emerald sighs.
"No kidding… it could we're be overthinking things but given the context of what we read… probably best that the stories were deleted on FFN…" Emerald said when he sat in a chair while Surge sat next to him while Sonic did the same near Cedric and their legs hung from the couch.
"I can't believe this is happening! This is more terrible than the bad reviews." Cedric said.
"OK now your pushing it Cedric… least you didn't get death threats." TME said while he gave Cedric a half lidded look before he sighs and when he snapped his fingers… many could see the readers here.
"As you can see dear readers… yes this IS what you think it its… its not some kind of twisted VERY late april fools joke… its not some kind of thing set up as a halloween prank… no… because of… what I would like to call an X Event… on well… the X App or former Twitter app… FFN has, or had if this was posted on Desktop by the time FFN is restored, DNS issues… and by the time of this writing… its still ongoing… given the context of what was said… its safe to assume that there maybe another… cleansing of stories WELL above an M rating so Atomsk and I have taken it upon ourselves over time long ago to back up all of our stories… right into AO3 or Archive of our own… enough said to those that know us, I want to say that we are not going to quit writing fanfiction… were just moving on from FFN… this is probably going to be the final new story/announcment we will be putting on FFN for now until things change… I've seen and heard many storied on FFN getting taken down for various reasons and Atomsk and I don't want to lose our accounts so this is the best we can do right now to make sure that you at least know where we are going for future writing… for any requesters who want to talk with us… we can still be talked with on Discord VIA DM's and what not… but given how… finicky AO3 is as well on some things… best to not say too much on what our account names are… but safe to say for Atomsk and I its pretty obvious who we are if you look up the stories that we backed up there to see what our new account names are… enough said this isn't the end of writing for Atomsk and I… but again until things change… there won't be any more postings on FFN besides this announcement for my side and his… for those who supported us in all these years in writing either with encouragements and more… I truely thank you all…" TME said as he got up and gave a perfect 90 degree respectful bow to the readers who supported Atomsk and TME in all these years on FFN while Emerald and Surge did the same when they bow to the readers as well… hell even Surge knew when to not screw up serious talks like this.
"Yeah and to those that hated us… well screw you all as we stopped caring what you guys thought of us." Atomsk said.
TME sweatdrops as he glanced at Atomsk.
"Still salty huh?" TME said when he couldn't blame Atomsk for saying that but he did look at the readers again.
"And yeah… enough said hopefully this will give people here time to calm down… haters be haters but when FFN potentially takes down stories that they actually like… well enough said… I actually pity you guys… still I'm rambling… the main point of this is that Atomsk and I will be posting stories on AO3 and potentially backing up stories again when we find new sites to back stories up to… enough said I hope AO3 isn't going down anytime soon but thankfully as long as we handle things right… AO3 is like a new home Atomsk and I moved to… so again… I and Atomsk appreciate everything you readers have done… until FFN is fixed this will hopefully explain WHY mine and Atomsk's stories are gone… but know that we are not down yet… like a phoenix we will rise from the ashes and keep going with writing stories… either until the day we die or something happens that causes all fanfiction sites to go down… probably the former instead of the latter because taken down or not… fanfiction… is eternal…" TME said while he looks comically serious to a Jojo faced level.
"Yeah… been a good run for FFN. Won't be the same." Atomsk said.
"Yeah… but you never know… we could do more on AO3 then FFN with more freedom… we pushed out luck here… it just so happens that many have pushed FFN's luck and currently… we are changing ships." TME said before he cracks his neck.
"So dear readers… Atomsk and I will be heading to AO3 again… and until things change on FFN… for full time… for those who support us… please continue reading our stories there… for those who hate us… good luck actually giving reviews… you may comment but hehe… unlike on FFN which is for good… can take away stuff like death threats and more… pretty sure there will be issues and stuff as well for comments like that so honestly… I would love to see if you do give threats there and not get a ban hammer or something… for now… unless Atomsk or the others here have something to say… well… I'll check to see if these guys have anything to say." TME said while he looks at his and Atomsk's OC's Emerald and Cedric and Sonic and Surge… owned by Sega of course.
"I got nothing to say… Emerald?" Cedric said.
Emerald breaths in.
"Yeah… this place is where I was born, raised, and matured… in various ways from being a dimensional drifter… to an incubus… a femboy looking Cat man… honestly I can go on but all in all… I'm happy to have been working here in giving you guys tons of entertainment in many ways… honestly I hope many more read things on AO3 but all in all…" Emerald said before he bows next to TME and to the readers.
"I truely thank many who enjoy my adventures and I'm sure Cedric would say the same since he had many variants and more in many stories having fun escapades of his own." Emerald said while he had a calm look on his face.
"Yeah… I did." Cedric said before blowing to a tissue.
"Hehe… and I had fun with a lot of ladies and some hunks hehe… glad I came in since many people like to see the new star of many stories hehe." Surge said with a sharp tooth grin while Sonic gave her a half lidded look.
"Okay… don't get ahead of yourself, Surge." Sonic said.
"But I'll admit…I had some great moments in those lemons."
"Hehe yeah… especially you getting Amy's V-Card in TDS and more… will say you got lucky with a lot of ladies… a vast 180 compared to your virgin canon self… well besides some canon versions of you but those are rare." TME said while he looks amused.
Sonic felt embarrassed.
"Let's not bring that part up."
"What?... shy in boasting on things?... hehe… well I don't mind boasting of my conquests… but thats for later… may as well end things so mind ending things TME so we can leave for better places?" Surge said as TME chuckles and nods.
"Very well… this is TME or Twilight Master Emerald and Atomsk the Pirate King signing out…. Potentially for the last time on FFN… so FFN… good luck in things… and and see you later." TME said while he and the others gave one last bow to the screen right before the scene fades to black… potentionally for good on FFN.
