Episode 293: Destiny Deoxys Part 3
Most of the citizens have been evacuated, but there were some that were unfortunate enough to be still in the city. Officer Jenny and Professor Lund were looking at the monitor of the people who didn't get out, and that included his son, his friends, and Yuko.
"Professor, Take a look at all of these people shown here. Their evacuations haven't been confirmed by any of the passport checkpoints, I'm afraid it means that they're still stuck in LaRousse City," Officer Jenny said. Professor Lund growled and ran towards the window, blaming himself for not getting to Tory before it was too late.
Yuko leads the group to a hiding spot and explains the situation to them.
"The entire town is enclosed within a force field. It's impossible for anyone to come in or to leave. All communications are jammed as well," Yuko said.
They've switched to the backup generators, but they systems are still down," Rebecca said.
"Yeah, and the Pokéballs aren't responding to us like they're supposed to," JP said, trying to get his Pinsir out.
"How are we going to have our Pokémon help us?" Zoe asked.
"Hey, we can use our Rotom Phones to make contact with the outside world. We could call Master Rei for help. Or maybe Ash, Ethan, Riku, Leaf, Kris, Lyra, and Naminé, too," May suggested.
"No good. I already tried it. The Rotom in our phones aren't affected because they're actual Pokémon, but I don't have a good signal to make any texts or phone calls," Brendan said.
"Well, that's just dandy," JP sarcastically said.
"I think it has to do with that Pokémon we saw. You said it's called 'Deoxys', right?" Sora asked.
"That's right," Yuko said with everyone looking at her. "Deoxys is a Pokémon from outer space." Everyone were shocked to hear that Deoxys came from outer space.
"Outer space? You mean, it's an alien Pokémon?" Takuya asked.
"How do you know about it, Yuko?" Brendan asked.
"Four years ago, a metoerite has fallen and struck the North Pole. Coming out from inside, it was a completely unknown Pokémon. It was Professor Lund who gave that Pokémon the name 'Deoxys'. And then, almost immediately, Rayquaza appeared from the ozone and attacked Deoxys. Apparently, Rayquaza was threatened and thought Deoxys was invading its territory. Deoxys and Rayquaza fought each other with such power, but then Rayquaza finished off Deoxys, and perished into the sea, or so we thought," Yuko said.
"Or so you thought?" Zoe asked.
"Are you saying that Deoxys is the same Pokémon you saw before?" Koichi asked.
"If it is, then how could it still be alive after all this time?" Tommy asked.
"After the battle with Rayquaza, Deoxys must have been slowly regenerating itself," Yuko said.
"Regenerating?" May asked.
"That's right. Deoxys has an astounding regenerative powers. That's what Professor Lund and I have been studying for all these years," Yuko said.
"It sounds more like science fiction. This is something I'd love to research," Rebecca said.
"But I wonder if it could somehow come in through a crack in the wall!" Max exclaimed. Tommy and the twins winced.
"Knock it off, Max!" Kathryn scolded.
"Yeah, stop scaring us right now!" Audrey added.
"Yeah, cut it out!" Tommy said. Max chuckled nervously.
"I was just kidding. There's no way it's coming in through a crack," Max said, waving his arms. They hear a clanging sound, making everyone flinch.
"It's here!" Koji said.
"It's coming from the vents!" Sora said.
"Come on, Blaziken," Rafe said.
They stand ready as the vent start rattling. They braced themselves, waiting for it to come out. It turns out to be Plusle and Minun coming in.
"Plusle and Minun?" Sora asked.
Coming in from behind is the Shiny Munchlax, but it is now stuck in the vent.
"And that's the same Munchlax who ate all the bread for Kairi's fondue!" Zoe said.
"Are you stuck in there, Munchlax?" Max asked.
"Munch," the Shiny Munchlax said.
Max and the twins pulls the Shiny Big Eater Pokémon out of the vent and some candy come falling out of its fur.
"Looks like that Munchlax was busy taking some food," JP said.
"At least that they're safe, too," Kairi said.
Plusle and Minun's ears perked up and they saw Tory and started to run up to him.
"Hold on!" Tory said, running off. The two Cheering Pokémon started to follow him. "Just don't come any closer, you two." Pikachu and Xipak went up to Plusle and Minun as did Sora.
The Shiny Munchlax sniffed something and went up to JP.
"Hey, back up," JP said.
"JP, what are you hiding in that jumpsuit of yours?" Max asked.
"None of your business!" JP said.
"JP, don't tell me that you have some chocolate bars under there," Tommy said.
"Seriously? You have some chocolate bars under there and you've been holding out on us?" Brendan asked.
"Hey, I would have shared them, but I was going to wait until everyone else was hungry. And I don't have that many left anyway," JP said.
"Just how much do you have?" Brendan asked. JP took out three chocolate bars.
"This is how much," JP said as the Shiny Munchlax jumped and ate the chocolate bars right out of his hand. "Well, at least I did."
"That was our only source of food, and that wouldn't even last us until winter," Max said. Tommy and the twins sighed.
"Unless we find some other source of food," Koji said.
"Yeah, but the problem is, we go out and get it without risking at being caught," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Eevee," Celeste said.
"That's a risk we're gonna have to take," Sora said.
"Sora's right. We can't just sit around and starve to death or wait for those Deoxys fakes to find us eventually," Koichi said.
That night, Sora, Kairi, Brendan, Takuya, Koji, JP, Koichi, Tory, Rafe, Rebecca, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, Celeste, Blaziken, and Metagross stepped out as May, Max, Lisia, Zoe, Tommy, Yuko, and the twins were staying behind.
"We gotta find food and water right away," Koji said.
"Great. And I'll try to find out where those people were taken," Rebecca said.
"Yuko, take of my sisters, please," Rafe requested.
"Of course, but don't you worry about us. You take care of yourselves," Yuko said.
"Right," Sora, Kairi, Brendan, Takuya, Koji, Koichi, JP, Tory, Rafe, Rebecca said.
"Okay, JP, Koji, Koichi, you guys go with Rafe and Rebecca," Sora said.
"Sure," Koji said.
"Just be careful," Rebecca said.
"You do the same," Kairi said.
"Let's go," Takuya said.
With that said, they broke into two groups.
Back with May, Max, Lisia, Zoe, Tommy, the twins, Yuko, and the other Pokemon, they anxiously wait for the others to come back. Plusle and Minun were playing with Max and Audey as Kathryn was playing with Surskit.
"I know that they've been gone for a little while, but I can't help but worry," May said.
"Yeah, me too," Kathryn said.
"I'm sure that they're okay. I mean, Sora and Kairi can handle themselves," Tommy said.
"You're right about that, Tommy, but we can't be certain that they'll get out of this one safely," Zoe said.
"But you know it's Sora and Kairi we're talking about," Lisia said.
"I know, but May's right to be worried as we all should be," Zoe said.
Plusle and Minun looked at each other and nodded to each other. They started to make their way towards the vent.
"Plusle, Minun, where are you going?" Max asked.
Sora, Kairi, Brendan, Takuya, Tory, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, and Celeste have come to a hot dog machine. Tory tried to use his passport to get it to work, but it doesn't respond.
"No good," Tory said.
"It must be be tied in with the city's systems, too," Kairi said.
"We gotta get food, so how are we going to get it?" Sora asked. Xipak then got an idea.
"Pikachu," Xipak said. He fired a Thunderbolt at the hot dog machine, giving it a jumpstart. It then started to shoot out hotdogs, so Sora, Kairi, Brendan, Takuya, and Tory started to catch the hotdogs in their arms.
"It worked!" Tory said.
"Nice thinking, Xipak!" Sora said.
"Pika!" Pikachu added, patting Xipak on the back.
"Gotta catch 'em all!" Kairi said.
"You sure got that right!" Takuya said.
"So catch as many as you can carry," Brendan said.
The ears of the Pikachu and Eevee perked up and they turned to their right. Sora, Kairi, Brendan, Takuya, and Tory looked at the Pokémon.
"What is it, guys?" Sora asked. He got his answer when they saw a couple of the Deoxys clones flying after them. "Look out!"
"Run for it!" Takuya exclaimed.
They dropped the hotdogs as they ran. Suddenly, a double Thunderbolt shoots at two of the clones, stopping them. They saw Plusle and Minun at the scene.
"Plusle, Minun!" Tory said.
One of the clones grabbed Plusle, but Sora jumped up to save the red Cheering Pokémon.
"Let Plusle go!" Sora demanded. Takuya jumped up to save Plusle, too.
"Let go!" Takuya demanded.
Pikachu fired a Thunderbolt, shocking the clone, making it drop Sora, Takuya, and Plusle. Another one grabs Tory, but Minun fired a Thunderbolt, making it let go of him, but it grabbed Minun.
"No!" Tory cried as the clone started to fly up, carrying its hostage. It flew off with the blue Cheering Pokémon.
"Plusle, Plus!" Plusle called out.
Several more clones have arrived, and knowing that there are too many to handle all at once, they had to make a run for it again.
"Run!" Takuya exclaimed.
Sora, Kairi, Takuya, Tory, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, Angel, Celeste, and Plusle started to run again. One of the clones grabbed the hotdog machine as the rest of them gave pursuit.
They quickly hid in an empty building, hoping that they're not seen. One of the clones looked in the direction they ran. Watching from inside, they had to be quiet or else it'll hear them. So sure that they weren't around, the clone rejoined the others in pursuit.
"They're gone," Sora said.
"That was so close," Kairi said.
"I thought we weren't gonna make it for a moment there," Takuya said.
"Yeah," Sora agreed.
"It's all my fault," Tory cried.
"No, Tory, it's not. You shouldn't say that," Kairi said.
"I should have-" Tory cried.
"Hey, don't beat yourself up about it. Plusle and Minun only came out to help. Besides, Deoxys is to blame for this whole thing, not you," Sora said.
"I know, but still..." Tory paused as he looked at Plusle. He attempts to pet the red Cheering Pokémon to comfort it, but his hesitation got the better of him again. "I'm sorry."
"Plusle, don't worry. We'll save Minun." - Xipak said.
"He's right. You shouldn't give up hope We'll find a way." - Pikachu subtitle. Plusle felt better from their pep talk.
"Guys! Look!" Takuya called out. The couple and Tory turned to see Takuya next to an opened box. "I found some water."
"Yes!" Sora said.
Meanwhile, Minun is being carried off to a dome-shaped tower. Koji, Koichi, JP, Rafe, Rebecca, Blaziken, and Metagross are watching from a distance.
"That building must be where they're holding everyone captive," Rafe said.
"I guess, but what in the world for?" Rebecca asked.
"Release immediately! Release immediately! Release immediately!" The hot dog machine repeated until it started to short out. The hot dog machine then shuts down and then it dropped the hot dog machine into the ocean.
"Look at that!" Rafe said.
"It just let go," JP said.
"But why?" Rebecca asked. Rebecca knew something was up, so seeing enough, they started to make their way back to their hiding spot.
Rayquaza was still trying to break through the barrier to get to Deoxys, refusing to give up.
They made it back to their hiding spot and filled them in on losing Minun when escaping from the clones, and on where the clones were taking the people and Pokémon.
Everyone was fast asleep as Rebecca was showing Yuko the video she captured. Yuko gasped when she saw the clone dropped the hotdog machine.
"Wait! Go back to that one part," Yuko said.
"Sure," Rebecca said.
As they slept, Surskit woke up, alarmed. It started to run around the room, waking up everyone.
"What is it?" Kathryn asked.
Before any of them could talk, they heard a noise from outside. They winced when the noise grew louder and louder. Purple and blue tentacles busts through the ceiling.
"They found us!" Koji exclaimed.
"Oh, great! Now what do we do?" JP asked.
"There's an underground lab right this way," Yuko said.
"Everybody hurry!" Sora said.
Not needing to be told twice, everyone started to run towards the underground lab to get away. The normal Munchlax took the Shiny Munchlax by the arm and started to run with the rest of the group.
No longer picking up on their signal, the clones took their leave of the lab. The group sighed a sigh of relief, knowing that they weren't chasing after them.
"I think they're gone, but I don't think it's a good idea to go back up there," Kairi said.
"I agree. We should be safe down here for the time being," Yuko said.
Everyone started to look at the meteorite and the green crystal.
"What is that thing?" Tommy asked.
"This the lab where we were doing research on Deoxys. There were once two of them. Rayquaza defeated one, while the other lays dormant inside of this meteorite," Yuko explained.
"So you're saying that..." Rebecca paused.
"Yes. That crystal is a part of Deoxys," Yuko said.
"Part of Deoxys?" Sora asked.
The green sparkle appeared before, everyone, making them gasp with shock and awe. It floats right towards Tory.
"What?" Yuko asked.
"Tory, it's your friend," Sora said. Rebecca gasped as she analyzed the video she caught of the sparkle and she zoomed in, giving off the same pattern as the aurora.
"That's it! It all makes sense!" Rebecca said.
"What makes sense?" Takuya asked.
"Yeah, fill us in," Zoe said.
Rebecca shows the group the two auroras on her laptop.
"This is Tory's friend's life pattern," Rebecca said, using her mouse to point at the green aurora. She then zooms in on the purple aurora. "And this is the pattern of the aurora that covered LaRousse City."
"It's the same," Lisia said.
"Yeah, it be how they communicate," Rebecca said.
"Oh, I see! Can you tell what it says?" May asked.
"Well, let's start with the green pattern," Rebecca said, clicking on the sparkle. "This one means 'friend', and this one seems to be asking 'where are you?'"
"So it's just looking for its friend?" Brendan asked.
"I think I get it. Deoxys was kidnapping all of the people and Pokémon because they were all in the way, so Deoxys made several copies of itself to move them out of the way and search for its friend without any interference," Kairi said.
"Those are my thoughts, exactly," Yuko said. "Deoxys sees certain types of electrical fields. But it's not only electrical devices that give off those fields, but so do people and Pokémon. And they were blocking its vision."
"That's why it dropped that hotdog machine," Koichi said.
"And that's why it moved everyone out of the way. To find its friend," Rafe said. Yuko nodded with agreement.
Over to Deoxys, it looked over the entire city, so it unleashed another aurora, sending out another message. Rayquaza still tries to break through. Professor Lund and Officer Jenny watched over Rayquaza, so Professor Lund grits his teeth in frustration.
Back to the lab, Tory looked at the meteorite and he knew what had to be done.
"Please, Yuko! You got to help this Deoxys regenerate!" Tory said. He frowned. "It's so sad. It's been alone all this time."
"You're right, Tory. When Deoxys finds its friend, it'll go back where it came from," Sora said.
"But the problem is the emergency power we have now isn't nearly enough to operate this device," Yuko said.
"If it's electricity you want, I'm your guy," Rafe said.
"And I can get the wind generators going," Rebecca said.
"Can we help?" The twins asked.
"Yes. We'll need everyone's help to save those people and Pokémon," Rafe said.
"Yeah, we'll have to cook up a plan to run an interference and reach where everyone is being held," Brendan said.
"I'll zero in on it," Rebecca said, typing in the location of the dome. "That's where everyone is being held."
"Okay, let's go!" Sora said.
"Right!" Everyone agreed.
So everyone started to head on out to put their plan into action as Yuko stayed behind to operate the machine to bring the second Deoxys back to life.
Seeing the group, Deoxys descends before them.
"Deoxys, we're not your enemies! We're on your side!" Sora said as Deoxys multiplied again. "You gotta listen to reason! We can help you find your friend!" Deoxys didn't listen and sent the clones to abduct them.
"Blaziken! Use Flamethrower!" Rafe ordered. Blaziken fired a Flamethrower at one of the clones, destroying it. But several more started to come.
"Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu, Xipak, and Plusle uses Thunderbolt on three of the clones, taking them out.
"Angel! Use Swift!" Kairi ordered. Angel and Celeste fired Swift, hitting the clones, taking them out as well.
"Metagross! Use Reflect!" Rebecca ordered. Metagross creates a protective barrier to prevent the clones from getting closer. "Quick! Now's our chance!"
"This way!" Tory said.
"Blaziken! Use Overheat!" Rafe ordered. Blaziken fired Overheat at the clones, hitting several of them.
"Rafe, you okay?" Brendan asked.
"I'm fine! You go on ahead!" Rafe said.
"You sure?" Brendan asked.
"He can handle himself, Brendan," Rebecca said.
"Just don't let anything happen to my sisters, Brendan," Rafe said.
"Okay. You can count on that," Brendan said. He rejoins the rest of the group. Rafe just smiled as several more clones.
"Blaziken! Overheat!" Rafe ordered. Blaziken fired a second Overheat at the original Deoxys, but it builds up a protective barrier, changing into its Defense Form. Even though Overheat grows weaker from every use, it was enough to weaken the barrier the DNA Pokémon has created, so Rayquaza managed to penertrate the weakened barrier and finish what it started four years ago.
Seeing this, Officer Jenny and Professor Lund were both shocked.
"Rayquaza has broken through!" Officer Jenny gasped.
"What have I done?" Professor Lund asked himself.
Sensing Rayquaza's presence, it orders its clones to swarm all Rafe and Blaziken. The Blaze Pokémon started to flare up, but Rafe knew it was no use battling any longer.
"Relax, Blaziken," Rafe said. Blaziken looked at its Trainer, puzzled, so the clones carried Rafe and Blaziken, intending to put them in the dome-shaped tower.
Rayquaza flew through the city, so the clones were flying towards Rayquaza, but it fired a Hyper Beam at the clones, taking them out. Several clones attempts to grab Rayquaza, but it shook them off and fired another Hyper Beam, destroying them. The group ran through the streets of LaRousse City, and Rayquaza flies over them.
"Is that Rayquaza?" Kairi asked.
"Yes, it is," Tory said.
The group were close to the dome tower, so Sora gave the order.
"Okay, guys! Like we planned!" Sora said.
"Right!" Everyone all said as Sora, Kairi, Brendan, Tory, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, Celeste, and Plusle went one way as May, Max, Lisia, the DigiDestined, the twins, Rebecca, Mime Jr, Munchlax, Metagross, Surskit, and Masquerain went another and the Shiny Munchlax went its own way.
"Hey, where are you going?! Get back here!" - Munchlax subtitle.
"Let's keep going, Munchlax! We don't have time to go back for him!" - Mime Jr subtitle.
The Mime Pokémon pushes the Big Eater Pokémon forward, sticking with the plan.
Inside the dome tower, Rafe fills Sid on an escape plan while Zell was laying down from his injuries. When he attempted to use his Keyblade, the clones uses a burst of psychic energy to mobilize him. Rafe tinkers with the electrical wiring.
"You ready?" Sid asked.
"Just about. All we need is the electricity," Rafe said.
"But if we have that, we wouldn't need to fix it," Sid said.
Outside, Sora, Kairi, Brendan, Tory, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, Celeste, and Plusle are running towards the dome tower.
"Hey in there! Can anyone hear me?" Sora called out.
"In here, Sora! You have Pikachu, Xipak, and Plusle with you, don't you?" Rafe asked.
"Yeah! We're all set!" Sora answered.
"Pika!" Pikachu and Xipak said.
The clones continue to attack Rayquaza, but the Dragon-type just attacked with another Hyper Beam, destroying them. Rayquaza then sets its attention on the original. They stare at each other like two cowboys in a duel.
Back to the dome, Sora and Tory looked at each other and nodded.
"Pikachu, Xipak!" Sora said.
"Plusle!" Tory said.
"Triple Thunderbolt!" Sora and Tory ordered. The three Electric-types fired their Thunderbolt at the entrance as Minun was firing its own Thunderbolt.
"There's your electricity," Sid said.
They kept on firing their electric attacks until Rafe figured it was enough.
"Okay, stop!" Rafe said.
Once the electricity has been restored, Rafe smiled. The entrance opened up, so Sid was the first one out, so he fell on his rump. Minun followed him and happily reunites with Plusle. Tory smiled, happy for the both of them. Sora placed his hand on Tory's shoulder. He turned to Sora.
"You did great, Tory," Sora said.
"Ouch!" Sid exclaimed. Rafe gets a rope ladder out and gives a thumbs up. Sora and Brendan responds with their own thumbs up.
Over to Rayquaza and Deoxys, the pursuit continues, so Rayquaza fired another Hyper Beam, destroying a building. Deoxys forms an orb of eergy and it struck Rayquaza on the mark, making it fall, but it regains its balance and flew back in the air. Sora, Kairi, Brendan, Tory, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, Celeste, Plusle, and Minun were starting to head back to the lab as Deoxys and Rayquaza went by them. They flew by another building, shattering the windows.
"Come on!" Sora said.
Over to the windmills, Taukya was tugging on a rope, making sure it was tight and secure. He opened the door on his right.
"Coming down!" Takuya called out, throwing the rope. Max catches it. He looked over to Rebecca who was doing the same thing.
Coming up was Rafe, Sid, Blaziken, Blastoise, the local citizens, and the local Water-types.
"Hey, May! I'm coming for ya!" Sid shouted. Hearing Sid's voice, May, Max, Lisia, Koji, Koichi, JP, Zoe, Tommy, and the twins turned around.
"Is that Sid's voice?" May asked.
"It is, and look who's with him!" Lisia said.
"It's Rafe!" The twins happily exclaimed.
Sid kept on running, so May stepped to the side and Sid's face bumps right into Metagross's face. The Iron Leg Pokemon just beamed, happy to see its friends.
"Audrey, Kathryn, are you okay?" Rafe asked.
"Uh-huh," Kathryn said.
"We're fine," Audrey said as Takuya stepped out.
"Where are Sora and the others?" Takuya asked.
"They went back to the laboratory," Rafe answered.
"Okay! Let's get this thing started!" Takuya said.
Over to the lab, Sora, Kairi, Brendan, Tory, and the Pokemon returned to the lab as Yuko was pressing some buttons, but then the power has returned.
"The power's back!" Yuko said.
"I knew they'd pull it off!" Brendan said.
"Yeah, and we have one more miracle to perform," Sora said.
Back to the windmills, the people were doing the pulling of the ropes. Blastoise and the Water-type Pokemon fired their water attacks at the blades of the windmills to get them moving. Masquerain and the flock of Wingull and Pelipper were flapping their wings to create a wind to blow the blades. Blaziken was jumping on one blade after another while Metagross was using Psychic on them.
Back to the lab, everything was all set for the lasers to be activated.
"Everything is ready. Shall we turn on the lasers?" Yuko asked.
"Yeah, but I think Tory should do the honors," Sora said.
"Huh?" Tory asked.
"Sora's right. It is Tory's friend," Kairi said.
Knowing that Sora and Kairi were right, he went over to the controls and he places his hand on the main switch.
"Here goes," Tory said, pushing the lever all the way up. The lasers activates hits the meteorite, building up the power it needed, but the laser begins to weaken. "Still no good!" Yuko checks on the power reseves and she didn't like what she saw.
"Oh, no, we're still 20% short on energy," Yuko said.
"We're too close to give up. Pikachu, Xipak, Plusle, Minun, you know what to do," Sora said. Nodding Pikachu, Xipak, Plusle, and Minun fired a Thunderbolt at the machine to give it the extra juice it needed. This causes the laser's power to speed up the regeneration process go faster. The energy level goes up, much to Yuko's delight.
"It's just the right amount of power we need! It was a great idea! It's working!" Yuko said.
"Alright!" Sora said.
The whole room shines in a green light. The meteorite begins to crack up and then exploded in a burst of light, but the light began to take shape. At last, it has taken the form of a Deoxys but with a green crystal.
"It worked!" Kairi said.
"Deoxys! It's really you!" Tory said. The green jeweled Deoxys lets out the green sparkle, indicating "friend". Tory holds out his hands as Sora, Kairi, Brendan, and the Pokémon beamed. Yuko cried tears of joy. "Deoxys, you want to go find your friend now?" Deoxys replied and uses Psychic to lift up Sora, Kairi, Brendan, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, and Celeste. They flew over to the rest of the group, having their faces lifted.
"They did it!" Lisia said.
Over to Rayquaza and the other Deoxys, Rayquaza knocks it around before wrapping its body around and hurls it down the pavement. This causes it to lose focus on the force field and make it shatter like glass.
"The force field's gone, just like that?" Rafe asked as a wind kicks up, blowing the windmills and activating the robots. Rayquaza searches around for any signs of the purple core Deoxys, but it didn't wait too long, because the purple core Deoxys emerged from the rubble with a vengeance, using Psychic to manipulate the debris. The purple core Deoxys sends it right at Rayquaza. It then changed into its Attack Form and tackles into Rayquaza, knocking into a bridge, but Rayquaza fires another Hyper Beam, but the purple core Deoxys dodges and tackles into Rayquaza again, knocking it to the ground. The purple core Deoxys unleashed an orb of energy at Rayquaza, hitting it. Sora, Kairi, Brendan, Tory, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, Celeste, and the green core Deoxys witness Rayquaza being struck by black energy. The purple core Deoxys prepares to deliever the finishing blow to Rayquaza.
"Rayquaza's in trouble!" Kairi said.
"Eevee, vee," Angel and Celeste said.
The purple core Deoxys sends its attack right at Rayquaza, but the green Core Deoxys flew in and transformed into its Defense Form to deflect the attack. Sora, Kairi, Brendan, Tory, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, and Celeste gasped when they saw it. When the smoke cleared, the purple core Deoxys uses its scanning ability to search for any signs of life. It picks up green energy, indicating that it was what it was looking for. The green core Deoxys emerged from the rubble as the purple core Deoxys looked right at its comrade. The green core Deoxys unleashed a green aurora, communicating with the purple core Deoxys. The purple core Deoxys responds. Both Deoxys reverts back to their Normal Forms and the purple core Deoxys unleashed its aurora right into the sky. The two auroras have cascaded in purple and green as everyone were awestruck by what they were seeing. The two Deoxys swirled around in the sky as Rayquaza erupts from the rubble and fired a Hyper Beam, interrupting the happy reunion.
"Uh-oh," Sora said.
"Here we go again," Brendan said.
Rayquaza angrily chases after the two Deoxys throughout the city, so Rayquaza fires a Hyper Beam.
"Rayquaza, stop!" Sora called out.
"The Deoxys aren't your enemies!" Brendan called out.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"Pika!" Xipak said.
The two Deoxys fired black energy at Rayquaza, hitting it. The Deoxys uses Psychic on Sora, Kairi, Brendan, Tory, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, and Celeste off the building they were standing on as Rayquaza has crashed into it and fell on the pavement below it. The Deoxys safely puts them down and flew off. They have Rayquaza chase after them as it knocks over a hotdog machine. Rayquaza fired another Hyper Beam, knocking down a structure next to the tower. A cube robot hovers by.
"Warning! Warning! Warning! Warning! Danger! Danger! Danger!" The robot said, showing the image of Rayquaza. "Evacuate! Evacuate! Evacuate!" The
"What's going on?!" Brendan exclaimed.
"Security somehow started up," Tory said.
The brawl continues as Rayquaza crashes into the tower, but it fired a Hyper Beam, hitting the machinery. The blast has caused a surge in power and the robots were affected.
"Warning! Evacuate! Warning! Evacuate!" The robot said, malfunctioning. The cube robots have flooded the city like water from a destroyed dam. The Shiny Munchlax was happily eating hotdogs and is taken in the flood of cubes along with the hotdog machine.
Watching it on the monitor, Yuko tried to maintain control, but nothing she does worked.
"Somehow, security has gone on overdrive! It won't shut down!" Yuko said. Just then, Officer Jenny and Professor Lund entered the lab.
"Yuko!" Professor Lund said.
"Professor Lund! Thank goodness you're alright," Yuko said.
Back with the battle, Rayquaza and the two Deoxys burst out of the tower and the cubes advances on Rayquaza, overwhelming it. The two Deoxys changed into their Defense Forms and go in to save it. Rayquaza was surprised to see that the Deoxys were helping it despite everything that happened between them. More and more cubes piled on to Rayquaza and the Deoxys.
"This is getting crazier and crazier by the minute!" Sora said.
"I'm scared!" Tory said.
"Watch out!" Brendan exclaimed as he sees some cubes coming at them. They dove on the ground to avoid the cubes.
"That was close," Kairi said.
"Don't relax yet, because more are coming!" Sora gasped. They all gasped as the cubes come at them, but they're saved by a Thunderbolt. It came from Plusle and Minun after they stepped out of the lab to help their friends.
"Plusle, Minun!" Tory said.
"We should head back to Yuko," Brendan suggested.
"Right," Sora and Kairi agreed.
Just then, Professor Lund appeared on a two-inch screen.
"Tory, can you hear me? Tory!" Professor Lund said.
"Daddy!" Tory said, happy to see his face and hear his voice.
"You must listen carefully! As you can see, all of the block robots are malfunctioning! The chief robot who controls all of the others should be right near you! We no longer have any control over that robot from the booth, understand? So here's what you have to do; but I need for you to be brave. Tory, do you have your passport?" Professor Lund asked.
"Uh..." Tory paused, taking out his passport.
"Present your passport to the chief robot! Then everything should unlock, but only for a very brief moment! That should allow us enough time for us to regain control! And shut down the security system! Block robots are surrounding the Battle Tower, making any approach for us impossible! Son, the fate of our town is in your hands! I know we can count on you!" Professor Lund said as the robots destroyed the screen.
"Warning! Evacuate! Warning! Evacuate!" The chief robot said with its voice growing deeper. The robots are covering the Battle Tower.
"Okay, we gotta put a stop to the robots before things gets even worse than they already are," Sora said.
"But how are we going to get there? We're going to need something to get us across!" Kairi said. Brendan sees something.
"It looks like that something is coming our way! Look!" Brendan said, pointing ahead. They saw the hotdog machine coming.
"Okay, everyone! Jump on the count of three!" Sora said.
"Right!" Kairi, Brendan, and Tory said as Pikachu and Xipak climbed up Sora's shoulders. Angel and Celeste climbed up Kairi's shoulders and Plusle and Minun climbed up Tory's.
Sora counted, "1, 2, 3!" They jumped on the hotdog machine as the robots carried them towards the Battle Tower. "Just a little further!" Sora said as the hotdog machine was tipping over.
"Oh no! We're starting to tip over!" Kairi gasped. They hear the sound of the Shiny Munchlax eating.
"Hey, what are you doing down there, Munchlax?" Sora asked as the Shiny Munchlax fell over and started to evolve. It became a Snorlax right before their very eyes. "A Shiny Snorlax!" Sora gets an idea and jumped off the hotdog machine and right on the newly evolved Snorlax, stepping on its head, climbing up a tower. "Sorry!" The Shiny Snorlax sinks into the flood of robots. "Oh, great."
"Sora!" Kairi called out.
"Kairi, Tory, Brendan, don't worry about me! I'll handle this! Just keep your fingers crossed!" Sora said. He climbs up the tower to put an end to the malfunctioning robots. When he was halfway up, Pikachu and Xipak jumped off his shoulders. "Pikachu, Xipak!" The two Pikachu jumped from one cube to the other and right on the chief robot.
"Pika, Pi!" Pikachu said.
"Pika, Pi!" Xipak said.
"I see what you're doing? Ready or not, here I come!" Sora said, jumping on a cube. He almost fell off, but he quickly regained his balance and hopped on another one. Three of them were heading for him, but Pikachu fired a Thunderbolt, saving him. He jumped to the chief robot and took out his passport. The robot tilts before it could let him and he dropped his passport. "Crap! No!"
"Sora!" Tory called out. Sora looked at Kairi, Tory, Plusle and Minun. "Use my passport!"
"Throw it to me!" Sora called out. Tory threw his passport with all his might. Sora reached out for it, but he misses it, so Pikachu jumped off and uses his tail to bat it back to him. "Pikachu!"
"Pika, Pi!" Pikachu called out as the cubes carried him forward. The cubes were going up higher and higher. The robots have completely covered the Battle Tower. Kairi, Brendan, Tory, and the two Cheering Pokémon screamed as the hotdog machine tips to the other side.
"Here goes nothing!" Sora said, placing Tory's passport over the face of the chief robot. It scanned the passport.
"Passport has been verified! Disengaging all locks!" The chief robot said.
Over to the control room, Officer Jenny is pushing some buttons.
"I'm almost there!" Officer Jenny said. "Disengage!" She pressed the main button.
Back with the chief robot, it took a few seconds before it shuts off completely. All of the robots shuts off as well. The cube robots then turned from dark green to dark blue.
"It worked, guys," Tory said.
"What a relief," Kairi said.
"I thought we were done for," Brendan said.
The robots then started to fall off. Plusle and Minun fell, so Tory caught them in his arms. Kairi and Brendan fell as well, much to Sora's dismay.
"No!" Sora gasped.
"Pika!" Xipak gasped.
The green core Deoxys caught Kairi, Brendan, Tory, Angel, Celeste, Plusle, and Minun with Psychic, much to Tory's delight.
"Deoxys!" Tory said. Pikachu then emerges from the robots.
"Pikachu!" Sora said.
"Pika!" Xipak said.
Pikachu wasn't the only one. Rayquaza emerges from underneath Pikachu, so the purple core Deoxys uses Psychic on Pikachu to lift him up. It seems Rayquaza has befriended the two DNA Pokémon after they saved it. They carried the four humans and six Pokémon as Rayquaza returns to the ozone layer. The Shiny Snorlax is sleeping soundly on a pile of the deactivated robots.
May, Max, Lisia, the DigiDestined, Rafe, Sid, Rebecca, Audrey, Kathryn, Mime Jr, Munchlax, Blaziken, Blastoise, Surskit, Masquerain, and Metagross races to meet with their friends as the Deoxys lowered them down.
"Tory!" A familiar voice called out. The group turned around and saw it was Tory's father and his assistant running up to them.
"Daddy!" Tory said. The two adults stopped in front of him.
"Tory," Professor Lund said.
"Hi, dad," Tory greeted.
"I'm so happy you're safe!" Professor Lund said, hugging his son.
"I'm only because of my friends," Tory said. Plusle and Minun jumped on Tory's shoulders again and affectionately nuzzled his cheeks, making him laugh. Professor Lund and Yuko both smiled, happy to see that Tory has gotten over his fear of Pokémon. The rest of the group all smiled as well, knowing that Tory has taken his very first step as a Pokémon Trainer. The two Deoxys released their auroras, symbolizing their friendship and thanking them for everything. Tears forms from Tory's eyes. "Goodbye. I'll miss you." Both Deoxys hovered into the sky. "I wonder where they'll go."
"Probably back to their own world somewhere. But I know they'll always be there for you, because those Deoxys has touched your heart just like you touched theirs," Sora said.
The Deoxys have kept on going until the both of them were completely out of sight and the aurora has ceased.
As soon as things have settled down, the rest of the townspeople have returned home, so repairs on the robots and pretty much everything else.
Sora, Kairi, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, the DigiDestined, Rafe, Sid, Rebecca, Audrey, Kathryn, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, Celeste, Mime Jr, and Munchlax have boarded the monorail to say goodbye to Tory, Professor Lund, and Yuko.
"You sure you gotta go, guys?" Tory asked.
"Yeah, we still have a journey to go on. We'll have to head for South City since it's on the way towards Mossdeep City," Sora said.
"But we'll keep in touch, and maybe when you go on your journey, I hope we meet each other again," Brendan said. That made Tory smile.
"That's a promise," Tory said.
"Thank you all for what you've done for my son," Professor Lund said.
"Well, that's what friends are for, sir," Kairi said.
"Anyway, you take care of those two," May said.
"I will," Tory said.
"We're about to take off, so bye," Sora said.
"Bye, guys!" Tory said as the doors closes. Tory waves goodbye as the group waves back. It took an hour to reach South City, so Rafe, Sid, Audrey, Kathryn, and Rebecca have stepped off.
"Well, this is where we get off," Rafe said.
"Yeah, seems so," Brendan said.
"Hey, I'm looking forward in battling you again, and it'll be fair and square," Rafe said.
"I'm going to hold you to that, Rafe," Brendan said.
"It totally bums me out that we won't get to spend some more time with each other, May," Sid said.
"Um, yeah, too bad," May said nervously.
"We hope we get to see you again, everyone," Kathryn said.
"We liked being with you," Audrey said.
"Likewise," Takuya said.
"We'll be seeing you around," Lisia said.
"Bye!" Sora said as the monorail door shuts.
"Bye-bye!" The twins said, waving them goodbye.
Shortly after departing from the monorail, the DigiDestined have taken their leave, promising to meet up with them again, so Sora, Kairi, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, and Celeste have gone on the road to continue their journey and head for Mossdeep City for Sora's seventh Gym battle, and for more adventure ahead of them.
