10. Chapter 10 reception and wedding

Just want to thank you all for the reviews. They mean the world to me. I guess my story is getting stale but hey don't worry it's going to pick back up. I am still going to write and post and I hope some of you stay with me and others come back. With that being said.. Christmas is just a few days away for those that celebrate Christmas. We have a new year coming. I hope each and everyone of you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. I wish you all joy, love and peace.

This chapter is dedicated to all my readers near and far. Thank you all and love each one of you.

Chapter 9 recap

Ana had her luncheon with the girls. She gave a lovely caring speech for her maid of honor Paula. She also presented her with a beautiful infinity necklace and the bridesmaids a special gift just for them. They all loved them.

They had a wonderful luncheon at Chef Ronaldo's. He went all out and treated the ladies with some finger foods, treats and a Prosecco bar. He made a special cake for Ana.

Christian had his early dinner with the guys. He gave a heartfelt speech to Elliot, his best man and presented him with a gorgeous pocket watch. He also gave his groomsmen a very nice gift that he knew they all would like.

Ana saw Dr. Tate and his wife outside the hotel and invited all of them back to the house when Christian and his guys were through with their meal.

Everybody came back to the house with Christian.

Ana served drinks and snacks to all.

Ana and Christian sat down and got to the heart of the matter they wanted to talk about with the doctors and their wives with them being nurses. This involved them too.

They told them what they wanted to do and wanted to know if they would be interested in it or knew anyone that would be. They said they would pay them a salary they would not be going over there wherever they were needed without compensation. They are also providing transportation in their jets.

The doctors and their wives seemed very interested in this opportunity and told them to let them think about it.

Everyone left and went back to the hotel to get ready for the rehearsal dinner the next day.

Chapter 10 Rehearsal and Wedding

This is what you all have been waiting for. I hope I am not going to make it too long. I will try but no promises on my part. Cause I like detail and I want you all to know what a lovely rehearsal and wedding they will be having. Picture yourself there.

"Good morning my soon to be husband."

"Good morning my soon to be wife."

He grabs her and kisses the ever living daylights out of her. He has to hold her because she is light headed after that kiss.

"Mercy Boo, that was some good morning kiss but I am not complaining.

"I just can't wait to have you as my wife tomorrow and the rehearsal tonight I wish it was our wedding."

"Yes my love. I feel the same way but we will be husband and wife tomorrow afternoon in front of our family and friends.

"That's right my angel we will. Come shower with me. Let me get you all dirty and then clean."

They got each other very dirty then clean.

They got out dressed and went to see what everyone was doing.

"Good morning y'all I hope you all had a good night's rest."

"Good morning Annie Rose and Christian yes we all did. I can answer for all of us. We have been up and already said that this morning to each other."

"Well then come on Boo let's go fix breakfast. How about breakfast burritos y'all?"

"Oh yummy sounds good."

"Alright come on love let's get to cookin."

"I'm right behind you angel."

They all sat outside on the terrace and ate breakfast. It was a beautiful day in the country. The sun was shining, the sky was clear, not a cloud in sight. The flowers were blooming and there was a slight breeze blowing in the trees.

"What are y'alls plans for today? I know what y'all are doing tonight."

"We are waiting for everyone to come to the house. I am sure the guys have gone to pick them all up. They called before we came in and Christian called Dav. So they should all be here shortly."

"I wanted to fix breakfast for them but they already ate."

"Oh well that is alright. Us ladies are taking the liberty of fixing sandwiches and finger foods for everyone to snack on for lunch if that is alright with you?"

"Oh granmomma that is wonderful. Thank you all so much."

"We have tea and sweet Christian will you go to the wine cellar and bring some bottles of your wine up for us please?"

"Yes granmomma I will. Any particular kind?"

"No just what you think will go with the food."

"Alright I will go and get some. Elliot come help me?"

"Sure thing bro."

They walk down to the cellar and grab some wine.

"Bro what's on your mind? Not getting cold feet are you? I know you are nervous, I can sense it."

"No, not cold feet and I'm not nervous. I just want this wedding now, not tomorrow."

"Awe one more day won't matter. You and the little lady have your whole life to spend together. Hell you are already spending your life together."

"Yes I know but I will feel so much better when she says I do and I put my ring on her finger."

"What do you think she will not go through with the wedding?"

"Oh hell no nothing like that. It's just I have wanted Ana for so long and I was a jerk for so long. But that is in the past and not my fault. Never mind me. I guess I am stressed out. I want to write my vows but I am getting stuck every time."

"Well bro I have never been married and if it were me I would write what is in my heart and the way I feel about her. What she means to me and how much you love her and what your vows mean. You know, like being faithful and standing beside her through good times and bad times."

Christian looks at him and smiles.

"I didn't know you had that in you bro. Thank you. I will think about what you said. You gave me some good starting points."

"Hey that's what the best man and brother are for to give you advice and help make your day better."

"Thank you Lelliot love you bro."

"Awe Chris I love you too man. Now enough of this mussy shit let's get upstairs. I am sure by now your guests have arrived."

"Yes I am sure they have."

They walk back upstairs and into the kitchen and put the wine in the fridge to keep it cold.

They hear talking in the family room and head that way.

"Well morning everyone. Hope you all had a nice night and your rooms were comfortable."

"Yes Christian."

They all say at the same time.

"Good morning y'all. We have snacks whenever y'all would like something. We have coffee and tea if anyone would like something to drink."

"Thank you Adele, we are fine right now."

"I would like a cup of coffee and please Adele. Ana, do you have any cinnamon rolls left from yesterday?"

"Barney, you know I do. I made more like I said I would. Help yourself, they are on the kitchen counter. Coffee cups are there beside them."

"Would anyone else like a cinnamon roll?"

They all shake their heads no not right now.

"Lordy no not with the breakfast we just had about an hour ago. Barney, where do you put all that food?"

"Mrs. Tate, I am a growing boy. I eat all the time. But I can't pass up Ana's cinnamon rolls."

"Yes we know."

"Be quite Elliot shh."

They all laugh,

"Yes Barney, they are very good. We all had one last night. So I know what you mean."

"Barney, how about you and Eugene coming out on the terrace with us guys and catching up."

"Sure J. let's go and have our coffee and cinnamon rolls outside. It is a beautiful day."

"Sorry to interrupt Paula but the guys are here to put the tents up and want to set the tables and chairs up."

"That is fine Dav come onI want to take a look at the tents and the tables and chairs to make sure they are top quality. I want to make sure they are careful with the centerpieces when they set them on the tables."

"Ana, what time are the ladies coming for our massages? I just want to be back in here before you all start."

"Christian love, what time are our massages?"

"They will be here after lunch. I confirmed with their boss that he said one thirty. Does that work for you love?"

"Yes that is fine Boo. Paula, you have time. No rush."

"Alright be back later I just want everything to be perfect."

"Take a breath it will be. You are doing a marvelous job. Thank you so much."

Ana walks over and hugs Paula.

"Now before we get interrupted again I would like to say we all have decided to stay the rest of the week. There is nothing pressing at the hospital and I have no surgeries until next week."

"Now we are going to take care of our rooms, not y'all."

"Oh no Perry we can't let y'all do that. You all are our guests and besides we ask you to stay if you could. We have everything covered."

"Ana we can't accept your hospitality like that. Hell y'all brought us over here and put us in a five star hotel with the best of everything."

"Yes you can and please let us do this for you all. I really wish we had enough places for you all to stay here. I know it would probably be awkward with all of us not knowing each other that well."

"Well I for one don't think it would be. We might get under each other's feet with so many people in one house. Besides, we are not that far away from you all."

"Beverly you are probably right."

They all laugh.

"Seriously Christian and Ana, we have already taken care of our hotel rooms. There is nothing for y'all to do."

"Well I guess there is nothing we can do now. I will say this though please come here to have dinner with us while you are here and maybe a few breakfasts. You all have to try Ana's biscuits and sausage gravy."

"Not to mention her lasagna and homemade french bread."

"Well dang that sounds too irresistible to pass up. So expect us one more and one evening."

"You heard the ladies."

"Good, just call me and let me know when."

"Yes we will be sure to call unless we are here the night before."

"We all talked some last night and then again this morning about your offer to work with doctors without borders. We also called our children this morning to get their opinion on what they thought, not about your offer but about doctors without borders."

"They were very interested in it. They all thought it was a good reason and a good cause to work with them. We talked with them about being gone for long periods at a time. They told us mom, dad we are not infants or teens that need to be supervised, we are adults. If this is what y'all want to do we are not going to hold you back."

'Beverly started crying and said she knew that is what they would say. She just had to hear from the horse's mouth so to speak. So we are leaning more and more toward your offer. We would like to talk with y'all a lot more about and we need to pull applications to read. I imagine they are contracts."

"That is great news Perry you and Beverly would be a godsend if y'all were sent over to whatever country they needed you. There are so many people that don't receive medical assistance in some of the places they live."

"Ana, Christian we also talked to our kids and they basically said the same thing. Clark is all for it and he would like to do that after he gets some years under his medical belt."

"Ruby is happy for us and she knows we talked about this once before when they were younger because some of our friends were going to do it. So if we decide to do this and are approved we have our children's blessing to take the job."

"Troy, Allison, that is amazing they are standing behind you all too. I really hope that you are thinking hard about this opportunity. All of you, y'all would be a tremendous help to some very sick and helpless people that can't help themselves and have no medical assistance in some places."

"Well now that leaves us as you all know we do not have kids but we have brothers and sisters and family. I spoke with my brother this morning and he is a Physical Therapist and was also a family practice doctor for years."

"He is a widower and never remarried and has no children. He is all for it if he can be approved. Does this salary cover him if he wants the job and is accepted?"

"Absolutely it does. I am sure they need doctors in all kinds of fields. I imagine it depends where they are needed most. Do y'all have a preference? I know you want to be together with your spouse. I am sure they will understand that you don't want to be separated."

We would like to talk to midwives and pediatricians too if that would be possible."

"No we have no preference, we just want to help the sick and needy as much as we can. You both don't know what a godsend you both are to all of us.

"Now Ana I might be able to talk to some nurses at work and at the hospital. Perry and I both know a lot of doctors in different fields."

"Ok now we need to pull some applications up and print them out so everyone can read them and see what all they consist of and what you are required to do. That way we will know if it is what you all want. If you decide to go forward with this opportunity."

"Maxwell has a cousin that lives in Florida and I think one time years ago he did this. Isn't this what he did hun?"

"I think you might be right. It has been so long ago I forgot about it. He didn't stay long. The conditions wherever he was working were so bad he was getting sick like everyone else was. He couldn't help his patients for being sick himself."

"I am sure the conditions are better now. I know we have helped a lot of places with running water, safe water and housing. We have sent medical supplies to many countries. Ana and I did a lot of this before we got back together. Now we are together and we are doing more and more. Money is no problem for us."

"Excuse me, sorry to interrupt but lunch is ready. Y'all need to eat before the beauty and massage crew arrive. Don't want anyone fainting later."

"Yes gran we will come and eat thank you very much for reminding us. No, we don't need anyone fainting later."

They all get up and follow gran into the dinning room and take a seat.

"It's not a feast but this tide you all over for a while and there is plenty. Help yourselves."

"Oh gran y'all went with a buffet style. This is very nice."

"Yes everything is set out in trays for you all. The condiments are here in these bottles. We thought it would be easier than having knives out. There is mayonnaise, mustard, salad dressings. Oh heck anything you all want."

"We have ham, bacon, smoked sausage, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles. It is all here and if not just yell and we will get what you need if we have it. Oh, we have different kinds of chips too."

"Wow Ms. Adele you ladies have outdone yourselves. This looks delicious. I for one am going to make a club sandwich."

"I think I will do the same and have my sausage on the side."

"Alright y'all dig in, come on. We don't want Ana's bread to get stale."

"My lord Ana, when did you have time to make bread? You have so much going on."

"Oh I make it at night when Christian and I sit around and talk in the kitchen. I am teaching him slowly how to cook. He is doing amazing, especially with breakfast."

"Wow Christian that is nice because I can't cook a lick and Allison won't let me in our kitchen. Oh excuse me, her kitchen."

"I know what you mean. When Gail was my cook I tried cooking once and destroyed the kitchen and had to have it redone. I kid you not."

"Did I not Gail?"

"Yes Christian you did and I banned him from cooking ever again in there."

They all got a good laugh out of that.

"Hey why are you laughing Maxwell you can't boil water."

"Who told you that Perry?"

"You did my friend late one night. We were sitting and having a few after dinner drinks a few months after two very successful surgeries."

"Oh now I remember. We were talking about all the food that was being made and brought to our favorite patients."

"Yes and I remember Ana and all of them telling me that she was a great cook and we needed to try her cooking sometime."

"Well we are fixin to eat her bread and hopefully have dinner with them for a few nights."

"Alright guys let's eat. enough talking for now. You both are holding up the line and we are hungry."

"Ok, ok we are moving right along."

They all got their food and sat down to eat.

"Ana, how did you handle the physical therapy after you got home? I know from talking to you a few times it was rough."

"It got better but it was hard at times. Sometimes I just wanted to throw the towel in but I knew I couldn't do that. Hell I am not a quitter, never have been and never will be. My therapist was really good and he had the patience of a saint to even be in the same room with me at times."

"Yes I remember you calling and telling me he was the devil and trying to kill you. You know if he didn't push you like that you would not be walking as good as you are."

"Yes sir I know and I had Christian and our family there for me."

"Yes young lady you did. They all love you very much."

"Christian you did really well with your back. I am amazed at how well you bounced back. With your touch issues I thought it would take a while but I am glad you handled it like a pro."

"Doc let me just say if it wasn't for Ana my angel here singing to me as they were working on my back. I probably wouldn't be healed. I not only had her but our family rooting for me too."

"Also if not for Elliot and Ray I don't think I could have handled them working with my back putting the tens units on me and heat packs. I am like Ana. I'm not a quitter either."

"Did they run y'all crazy? Be honest with us please."

"There were times I wanted to run out of the house especially when Ana was having to bend her leg one way or another. The death glare she gave her therapist was deadly and I didn't want to be around them when she let loose."

"Christian he would just sit there and be stubborn until he had to do something. He didn't want them touching him at all. If Ana wasn't around or if she was in the gym in therapy he would get in the elevator and go downstairs."

"He got so aggravated one time with the two therapists that he was ready to throw them out of the house. He said and I quote " if you do not help me to the gym where Ana is I will not be held responsible for what I might do." Then they jumped up and asked Ray and Elliot to take him to Ana."

"They all got down there in the gym and couldn't believe the change in him when Ana started singing to him. Now get this she was having her therapy at the time and she never missed a beat of her counts she had to do. This girl is amazing."

"Yes she is and he is too. They make a perfect couple. I still remember her singing to him in the hospital and then him singing with her. Y'all are going to have to sing for all of us before we go home."

"I think that can be arranged, don't you Boo?"

"Of course we can."

"Excuse me y'all but the ladies are here for you all."

"Wow, we have sat here and talked for over two hours. Time flies when you are having fun."

They walk into the family room with Dav.

"Ana this is Regina, Claudia, Marcella, Lucia, Galla, Tullia, Ursula, Alba, Flora, Valentina and Aelia they are all here to pamper you ladies."

"Thank you Dav."

He leaves them and walks out.

"Welcome ladies, nice to meet you all."

"Thank you Ms. Steele. Would you come with me? I would like to start with your massage first as you are the bride to be."

"Of course Regina. I will see you all later. Take care of my girls ladies."

"See you later angel, enjoy everything I love you."

"Oh I plan on it and I love you too my sweet love."

As they walk out of the room.

"My name is Aelia and who is the Maid of Honor?"

"That would be me. My name is Paula."

"Very good Ms. Paula, will you come with me please?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Will the bridesmaids step forward please?"

"My name is Galla and you are?"

"I'm Gail. Nice to meet you Galla."

"My name is Claudia and your name my dear?"

"Come along young lady, my name is Adele and I am grandmother of the groom"

"My name is Saddie and I am the grandmother of the bride and you are?"

"Ms. Sadie, my name is Lucia this way please."

"My name is Tullia and you are?"

"Nice to meet you, my name is Cora."

"Follow me Ms. Cora please?"

"My name is Marcella and you are?"

"Nice to meet you Marcella, my name is Jennifer."

"Follow me please Ms. Jennifer."

"My name is Valentina and your name my dear?"

"I am Maddie and nice to meet you Valentina."

"If you will follow me please Maddie?"

"My name is Ursula and your name please?"

"Hello my name is Allison. Nice to meet you."

"Ms. Allison this way please?"

"Hello my name is Flora and your name my dear?"

"Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Beverly."

"This way Ms. Beverly please?"

"Come on little lady, my name is Naomi. Nice to meet you."

"Hello Ms. Naomi my name is Flora and thank you for the compliment. If you will follow me please?"

"Wow Christian you have enough room for all these ladies to be pampered?"

"Yes Troy we do. I have a room set aside for this and another room for the beauticians when they arrive. I need to give you all a tour later."

"Man this place is bigger than I thought it was."

"Yeah you and I are both Troy. How many acres do you have here Christian?"

"There are seventy acres Maxwell. We have farmland, a vineyard and stables. There are three beautiful horses in the stables. If you all would like to take a tour of the grounds now or later I will leave it up to you all."

"How about we take a tour after the wedding in a few days. Since y'all are not leaving for a honeymoon anytime soon. We can look at everything another time."

"Works for me. Now gentlemen let's get comfortable and wait on our ladies."

"Randall, are you enjoying your time away from Washington? We are very glad you could make the trip with Maddie."

"Yes Christian it is nice to get away for a while. Besides, Maddie would have had my head if I said I couldn't come. She talks about Ana and you so much I feel like I already know you both."

"Yes I feel the same way about Maddie. Ana talked about her a lot and then she was at my penthouse working right along with Ana, Paula and the gang Ana brought there. Then she came to the hospital to see us and stayed for a while."

"She and Ana talked about everything but I am sorry I didn't listen much to their conversations about you. Just a little here and there."

"No it's alright I know you both were in pain and from what Maddie said you had a rough time with it."

"Yes I did but we are both better now."

They all sat there talking about this and that.

Meanwhile the pampering

"Oh my goodness Regina this is heaven."

"I told you it would be. Nothing like a mud bath and cucumbers on your eyes."

"Now it's time to get out and shower this mud off Ms. Steele."

"None of that Ms. Steele, now I told you it is Ana."

"I am sorry Ana I forgot."

Ana walks off to the shower in the exercise room and gets rid of all the mud.

"My goodness whatever you put in that mud bath really got my skin so smooth and soft."

"Just a little healing lotion and Raspberry oils."

"Well it did the trick. What is next?"

"I am going to give you a full body massage."

"Oh mercy sounds relaxing."

"Lie on the table on your stomach and I am going to drape a sheet on your lower half and start at the top of your shoulders."

She starts rubbing her hands together with heated oil and then places her hands on Ana's shoulders and works the oil in really well and she moves on down her back and lowers the sheet and works on her butt and down her legs using pressure on her thighs and calves.

"Ana please turn over so I can do your front?"

Ana is so relaxed she doesn't want to move.

"I am going to replace the sheet over the top of you and massage your lower half first."

"Regina, you are the expert and you are doing a wonderful job. Thank you and I am glad you are telling me what you are going to do."

"Thank you Ana and yes I always tell my clients every move I make. I don't want to upset them or surprise them."

"I am going to be massaging your feet and then moving up your calves to your knees and thighs."

"Alright Regina make me feel like goo."

They both laughed when she said that.

Regina did make her feel like goo and a goddess.

"Ana, we are going to the sauna now."

"Sauna we don't have a sauna."

"Well now you do. Your fiancée told me when he called me and asked me to have my ladies come and pamper you all. He added a sauna as a wedding gift for you."

"Oh that man is just too sweet sometimes. I love him so much."

"I am sure he loves you just as much."

"Oh we are going to my room. That is where he had the sauna installed?"

"Yes ma'am."

They walk down the hall to her room and open the door and she sees that the wall has been knocked out and the room has been enlarged to fit the sauna and everything else.

"My lord he must have had this done while I was gone to my luncheon. I know Elliot helped them. He is his Christian's brother and he is an architect and has his own company back home."

"Well whoever did this I am impressed. I need some renovations done to my building."

"I will find out who it was for you."

"Thank you Ana. Now come on time's a wasting."

"Oh my lord, that is what I say."

"Well I am from South Georgia Ana."

"I know I detected a southern accent once in a while when you were talking."

"Yes ma'am I have been over here for twenty eight years. I met my husband in Atlanta. He was stationed at Fort McPherson and he was there for five years off and on. When he came home the last time he said he would be stationed in Rome for a long time and asked me to marry him and I said yes. We have been here ever since. He is retired now."

"Wow, that is amazing. I am from Atlanta and my grandmother Sadie still lives there."

"Where do you live now? If you don't mind me asking."

"Oh no not at all. I have a home outside of Seattle. I also have a home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and apartments in Charleston, South Carolina."

"Wait a minute you are the Anastasia Steele of Steele Cuisine Baby Foods aren't you?"

"Well yes as a matter of fact I am. How do you know about my company?"

"I have two sisters that still live there and they rave about your baby food. They have little ones and they love them."

"Wow what a small world it is."

"Oh my yes it is."

"Step in this sauna now we have been talking too much and your soon to be hubby is going to be wondering where you are."

"Oh he knows I am in good hands beside I can take care of myself. I am FBI and all the ladies with the exception of Adele and Sadie we are all FBI."

"So you and your friends and more FBI Agents took down the ones that tried to ruin Mr. Grey?"

"Yes ma'am that was us."

"Good for you all. My sisters keep me up to date on certain happenings and this was close to home."

"I am sorry I didn't mean to bring up bad thoughts."

"Oh no dear, just the opposite."

"Well then ok. Is this too much steam or not enough?"

"This is perfect for now."

They sat there in the sauna and talked more about home and family.

"Alright Ana time to get out of here and go take a cool or lukewarm shower not a hot shower as the cooler water can help regulate your body temperature. Then you are free to go see your hubby. The ladies are finishing up and they will be getting their hair and makeup done. You will be last as they will take their time on you. Not that you need it, you are a gorgeous young lady."

"Thank you Regina and thank you for today you have been wonderful and I feel fantastic."

"I am so glad and I will see you again I hope one day."

"Oh yes ma'am you will."

Ana finishes her shower and dresses in a midi length blue sundress and walks into the family and sees some of the ladies.

"Annie Rose, that was an experience I want done again and again. I feel so relaxed."

"Granmomma I know what you are saying I feel the same way."

"Ladies I am glad you enjoyed the massages and whatever else the ladies did for you all."

"Yes Christian it was wonderful, thank you sweet boy."

"You are welcome granmomma."

"Excuse me, I am looking for Ms. Sadie, is she here?"

"Yes I am Sadie and you are?"

"Oh I am sorry my name is Gloria and I am here to do your hair and makeup my dear."

"Well who am I to object to that? Lead the way my dear."

"Wait a minute, what about the bride to be?"

"Oh no worries Ms. Steele will be taken care of. Ms. Steele Becky will come and get you in a little while."

"Alright thank you run along granmomma I am fine."

"More pampering, what am I going to do with you young man?"

"Just enjoy granmomma just enjoy your day."

Jennifer,Cora and Gail all walk back into the family room all pampered and looking relaxed. They have their hair and makeup done to perfection and their dresses are gorgeous.

"Ladies, you all look so relaxed and lovely. I hope you all had a wonderful time as I did?"

"Ana it was amazing and thank you Christian for all of this."

"You are all very welcome and I am glad you all enjoyed your day."

"Ana Chef Ronaldo and his crew are here and they are setting up in the tent."

"Alright thank you Luke."

"Let's go see what all he has brought and if he needs any of you strong men to help him. Then I need to put on my dress. I didn't want to get messed up outside."

"Paula I am pretty sure he will need our help as he has two trucks loaded with everything but the kitchen sink I do believe."

They all laugh at that.

Allison, Beverly and Naomi walk in looking fresh as daisies and so relaxed.

"Ladies, you all look very lovely and relaxed."

"Ana I feel like I did when I was twenty one. This pampering was amazing and I didn't know I needed that massage so much."

"Beverly I know what you mean I was stiff in places that I didn't know I had. It felt so good to be massaged and everything else."

"Ladies, did you have a mud bath with the oils?"

"Oh my gracious yes we did Ana it was heaven. Sorry ladies but I am guessing you all had it too."

"Yes we did Naomi and it was heaven."

"Thank you Christian for inviting us today. We know you didn't plan on having all of us pampered but we thank you very much."

"Very well Ana I am Jasmine and I am here to do your hair and makeup but believe me my dear not much makeup for you you are absolutely gorgeous with those big blue cobalt eyes and sun kissed skin. Come along little lady and let's fix your gorgeous hair."

"Um thank you for the compliments and lead the way."

Ana is blushing

"Ana, how would you like your hair?"

"However, you want to fix it. Is fine with me."

"Alright what are you wearing this evening? Do you want your hair up?"

"Here is my dress. It is off one shoulder and has a purple rose on it."

"Oh my that is gorgeous and we will put your hair back on that side so it will show off your lovely neck and that rose." I see some combs here and I am going to put them in your hair to hold it back from your face and then I am going to take my curling rod and give you big long curls. How does that sound?"

"Wonderful, let's do it."

Jasmine worked on Ana's hair then did her makeup not too much just a little lilac eyeshadow and waterproof mascara and nude lipstick.

"Alright, Ana, look and tell me if you like this?"

Ana opened her eyes and she could not believe what she was seeing.

"Oh my goodness Jasmine I have never looked this good. Thank you."

"Ana, you are a gorgeous girl. I just added a little color to your eyes to make them pop and some waterproof mascara just so you know and you will be using waterproof mascara tomorrow too as I will be doing your makeup and hair again."

"Well thank you so much and will you help me into my gown as I don't want to mess up my hair and makeup?"

"Of course I will let's make you even more gorgeous."

Jasmine helps Ana into her dress and shoes and they walk out of the room and back to the family room.

As they walk in you can hear everyone gasp as they see Ana.

"My god in heaven angel, you are a sight to behold. You are gorgeous so damn gorgeous and I am a very lucky man."

"Yes son you are. Annie my lord you are beautiful. I am just realizing my baby ain't a baby anymore."

"Oh daddy I will always be your baby girl, just a grown up one now."

"Annie Rose, you are so lovely my dear and that dress is beautiful on you."

"Thank you granmomma."

"Sweet girl you are what dreams are made of. Christian cherish this little lady she is made for you."

"Thank you gran."

"Yes I know gran and I will everyday of my life."

"Baby girl everything they said and more you are absolutely beautiful and I want you to have this. This bracelet belonged to my great, great grandmother and it was meant for you. I wasn't sure when Paula told Christian the color of your gown but I am now. So please wear this and enjoy it my dear."

Oh grandpa, this is lovely and I will wear and treasure it. Will you put it on for me? Thank you. I love you so much."

"Oh my goodness y'all it has diamonds and amethysts all around it. It is absolutely stunning and perfect for my gown."

"Well little lady I must say you clean up beautifully and I have something for you too. I want you to have these teardrop amethyst earrings they are meant for you. They are small and dainty like you. I love you sis."

"Thank you Elliot and yes I will wear them. They are gorgeous. I love you too bro."

"Ana, you are a very beautiful young lady."

"Ladies I must say you all are very lovely this evening. Where is Paula?"

"I am right here just had to make sure Chef Ronaldo had everything in hand. I had to get dressed too but didn't want to walk in while everyone was admiring my gorgeous friend. You look gorgeous and out of this world beautiful."

"Thank you Paula and you look lovely. I knew that royal blue dress was perfect for you."

"Oh lordy Paula you are beautiful my dear."

"Thank you granmomma."

"Paula my sweet I have something for you love."

"What do you have for me Elliot?"

"Please wear these sapphire earrings and necklace tonight they will go perfect with this gown. I peaked and looked at the color of your gown."

"Oh sweetheart, they are beautiful and thank you. Yes I know you peaked."

"Really El I am FBI and it wasn't put back like I had it but that is ok."

They all laughed at that.

"Ana my angel I have one more gift for you."

"Ok Boo."

"Please turn around and hold your hair up?"

She does as he asked.

Christian puts a necklace on Ana that has diamonds and amethyst encrusted in a heart on a titanium chain.

Ana goes to look in the mirror after she hears all the gasps around the room.

"Oh my god Christian this is.. this is absolutely Wow I am beyond words.. It is simply stunning. Thank you my love. I will always treasure this as it is from you."

"Thank you angel, look at the back then we will walk out to the tent."

"Oh my goodness Christian I love you forever more too."

The back of the heart read… you are my love, my life , my forever more…Love Christian.

"Now I think it is time to walk out to the tent."

"Grandpa has our special guest arrived?"

"Yes baby girl he has."

"Very good then shall we proceed to the tent y'all."

"Who is the special guest angel?"

"You will see in a few minutes no worries you know him very well."

"If you say so and grandpa knows about him."

Nothing to worry about son come on. I want to get this rehearsal over so we can eat."

"Paula, you are taking care of all the pre wedding things right?"

"Yes grandpa I am. I have it all under control."

"Elliot you know what you have to do right?"

"Yes love I do."

"Very well let us head to the tent. Ana, you and Christian will be seated first and then everyone else."

" You all have a name card with your name on it to make it easier for you all to find your seats."

"There are some guests already seated."

As they make their way into the tent Ana and Christian see some of her friends from the FBI and some of his grandparents and Ana's grandmother's friends sitting at the tables.

They both look over at their grandparents and smile at them.

"Whee I thought he might have been mad but I see he is happy."

"I told Theo he would be happy because they are our friends."

"Paula my dear friend, you have a magic touch. This place is gorgeous. Thank you for everything."

"I just wanted this day and tomorrow to be extra special for you and Christian."

"Well you have succeeded beautifully."

Now that everyone has been seated.

"Hello everyone for the ones that don't know me or remember me from a few months back. I am Elliot, Christian's older and only brother. Thank you all for coming and being a part of this rehearsal dinner and wedding tomorrow. We are glad you all were able to make the trip."

"Now with that said let us have the bride to be and groom to be to stand up."

"Ana and Christian if you will walk to the front and the pastor will take it from there."

Christian looks at Elliot then at Ana then he looks to the front of the tent and sees his grandparents pastor waiting on them.

"Well I 'll be the old man done it. I didn't think he would."

"Yes my love he did. Well we did, we talked to him after you proposed to me the first time and he said he would be honored to perform our wedding ceremony."

"Thank you angel and I will have to thank grandpa too."

They walk to the front and stop in front of the pastor.

"Hello Christian how are you, young man? It is so good to see you and be here to perform your wedding. I was honored when Ana and Theo called me and asked me to be here with you all."

"Pastor McCain, I am doing very well and thank you for being here. I hope you are enjoying your time here with my grandparents and I am pretty Granmomma Sadie and Ray too."

"Yes I have had a wonderful time with all the grandparents and your father took me sightseeing a few days ago and I must say I had a wonderful time."

"I am glad you had a good time with them."

"Paula, would you come here please?"

"Now Paula is going to tell you how this will proceed tomorrow."

"Now let us start. We are not going to have Ana walk down the aisle tonight. That will be done tomorrow. Ray will walk Ana down the aisle.

"I will have Ray walk Granmomma to her seat. Theo will walk Gran to hers."

"I will have each of the groomsmen walk the bridesmaids to their place and Elliot will walk me to my place where I will be standing by Ana."

"The groomsmen will be in place and Elliot will be standing by you. You will walk in and give the grans a kiss on the cheek and take your place next to your best man."

"Elliot will have your ring for Ana and I will have Ana's ring for you."

"The music will start and Ray will walk Ana down the aisle to you."

"Oh yes before I forget any single ladies that are here you will be escorted to your seats by our guys at the doors. There are no right or wrong seating arrangements. We are all friends here."

"Pastor, I will turn it over to you now."

"Thank you Paula my dear."

"Yes sir you are welcome."

"Are we clear on everything for tomorrow?"

"Yes sir."

"How about all of you that have a part in this happy union?"

"Yes sir we are. We are supposed to stand like we are standing now."

"Alright now Ana do you want me to say Anastasia Rose or Ana Rose?"

"Anastasia Rose please sir."

"Very good I thought you would."

"What about you son, your name is Christian."

"Hey I just wanted to be included."

Poor baby pouts.

Everyone laughs and Ana giggles.

"Well you could have asked if I wanted Chris or Christian some of the guys are calling me Chris."

"Christian would you like me to call you Chris or Christian?"

"Christian please sir."

"Very well Christian and Anastasia Rose it is."

Christian is smiling.

"I will ask who gives this woman to this man."

"That will be me, her father and grandmother."

"Thank you Ray and you will lift Ana's veil just enough to kiss her cheek and put it back down."

"I will start with dearly beloved we are gathered here for Ana and Christian and so forth no need gettin into it as you all know what will be said. Then I will say a prayer for you both.

"Then I will ask if you are using the traditional vows or writing your own?"

"We are writing our own to make it more personal and endearing to us."

"Very good to hear."

"Then I will say repeat after me and then the I do's. You will each place your ring on your loved ones finger and say with this ring I thee wed."

"Then I will say you may kiss your bride. After the kiss I will have you turn around and announce you as husband and wife."

"Thank you Pastor McCain for being here and doing this for us."

"You are both so very welcome and you both deserve to be happy."

"Alright now folks time to get this party started."

"Everyone, Chef Ronaldo and his staff have prepared a wonderful menu for all. Please enjoy there is more than enough for everyone. There are fruit bars, veggie bars. There is cheese and crackers, chips and Chef's famous dips. We have mini Raspberry almond tarts, lemon butter cookies."

"We have Caprese Skewers that consist of fresh mozzarella cheese pearls in basaltic vinaigrette sauce, basil leaves and cherub tomatoes."

"I will let Chef Ronaldo tell you the rest of the menu."

"Ladies and gentlemen we have Brisket sliders with BBQ sauce, Baby back ribs, boneless skinless chicken breast."

"We have sliced smoked German Sausage, Chicken salad with grapes on Croissants rolls. We have Gourmet Macaroni and Cheese."

"We have a pasta station with spaghetti, Shrimp and chicken Alfredo, Linguine. A potato station for any kind of potato your heart desires. From mashed, fried and baked. with all the toppings."

"For the bride to be I made a strawberry cheesecake and for the groom to be I made a double chocolate layer cake. Yes there is enough to share if they are willing to share with you all."

That got a laugh from everyone.

"There is tea with and without lemon, lemon water, Raspberry tea, fruit punch and different flavors of fruit water."

"I hope you all enjoy your meal and help yourselves and thank you all."

Chef walks off to the back

"Let's eat y'all I am hungry."

"Hold up Elliot Ana and Christian go first then you follow after the grandparents and Ray."

"Oh yeah I forgot."

Ana and Christian walk up to the buffet and get a little bit of everything and some Raspberry tea."

Gran and granmomma and grandpa go next followed by Ray."

"Finally I get to eat."

"Elliot, what am I going to do with you?"

She pops him in the back of his head.

"Just love me my sweetheart, just love me and put up with my crazy ways."

"Elliot you are too much come sit down and get out of everyone's way."

"Ok, ok I am going."

Everyone has their food and is sitting down.

"May I have everyone's attention please?"

"Yes pastor, please go ahead."

"Thank you. I would like to say a prayer and bless this food and company we have tonight for this special occasion."

Everyone puts their silverware down and waits on the pastor.

"Dear lord, we come before you to thank you for this delicious meal that has been prepared by Chef Ronaldo and his staff and the time they took to cook everything for all of us. I pray dear lord that you will bless each and everyone here tonight and tomorrow. I pray dear lord that you will watch over and protect each and every person. I pray dear that you will guide us everyday to make the right decisions and I pray to you my lord that you will bless Christian and Anastasia tonight, tomorrow and ever more dear lord in your name Amen."

"Amen and Amen."

"Now we can eat."

"Oh lordy this is delicious. I love the brisket sliders and BBQ Sauce he made for them. The cheese and sausage is very good. The veggie bar I could have stayed at with all the vegetables there."

"Ana my love everything is so good. I am going to have to go back for seconds soon."

"Bring me some more brisket sliders please and a plate of veggies thank you love."

"Alright as soon as I finish this plate."

"Elliot, this is delicious. Have you tried the smoked German sausage or the Baby back ribs? Man, they are awesome."

"Not yet bro but I am going too and I want to try that pasta bar. I know you have already tried the mac and cheese."

Christian smiles at him

"Of course I have and damn it is delicious. But don't tell Ana."

"Too late bro she heard you."

Elliot said laughing.

"Yeah I know she did. No one can make it like she can though."

"Good save sweetheart."

They all laugh at him and her.

Chef Ronaldo walks back out.

" Ladies and gentlemen if you all are through eating would any of you like either some strawberry cheesecake or double chocolate layer cake?"

Yes everyone says.

The staff brings out a huge strawberry cheesecake and a huge chocolate cake.

"Oh my lord Boo there is more than enough for everyone and some for us to take home."

"My goodness I see that angel."

"Bro you have plenty of chocolate cake for a while and I am sure you are getting another one tomorrow."

"Yes El there is plenty for everyone and I don't doubt I will have another one tomorrow."

Everyone gets in either the cheesecake line or the chocolate cake line.

"I don't know about that bro, look at that line."

"Yeah I see it and there are just as many in the cheesecake line. I am beginning to worry now."

"Aww it will be alright. I am sure Chef has you both taken care of."

"Yes Boo he does."

Paula walks over to them.

"Hey y'all now is a good time to walk over and greet everyone."

"I didn't know when we were supposed to do that. Thank you Paula you are right on top of everything."

"Let's start with either your or Christian's grandparents' friends."

"We can start with Ana's. She also has some of her managers here from her plants."

"Ok Ana you take the lead and just introduce him to each one at the table and continue on. Then Christian you do the same with your grandmother's friends. I am sure you know them."

"Ok love, let's start at this table closest to us."

"Alright, come on."

"Calvin is one of the managers in my Atlanta plant and this is his wife Connie Donaldson. I would like for you to meet my fiancée Christian Grey."

"Very nice to meet you Christian you are getting a wonderful woman. She is the best boss I have ever had."

"Thank you Calvin and yes she is very wonderful. Nice to meet you Mrs. Donaldson."

"Robert is another manager in my Atlanta plant and this is his wife Dora Cain. I would like for you to meet my fiancée Christian Grey."

They move on to the next table.

I know I have met you all before but it has been a while."

Ana this is Noah and Nancy Richards they have been friends with my grandparents it seems like forever. I remember grandpa and I working in the apple orchard and Noah coming over to bug grandpa about who had the prettiest apples. Mrs. Nancy is a retired school teacher and Noah is retired military."

"Ana I would like for you to meet Everett and Cathy Simmons. They are both retired doctors. They have been friends with gran and grandpa for as long as I can remember. I would sometimes find Mrs. Kathy at grans and both of them would be sitting there peeling potatoes or apples."

"Ana I would like for you to meet Darwin and Clarissa Stevens. They are both retired lawyers. That's how I met them both the first time. I was visiting grandpa at the office and they were both working on a case with him. I remember it was a tough one."

Ana I would like for you to meet Bobby and JoAnn Albertson. They are also retired and they at one time owned a little general store that later became a five and dime. They sold everything when the big boys bought the land beside them and opened that huge shopping mall."

"It is so very nice to meet each of you. I have gran and grandpa talk about you all. Thank you for accepting our invitations and joining us. I hope y'all are having a wonderful time here in Italy?"

"So very nice to meet you young lady. You are a very beautiful woman and I see the love in your eyes for this young man here. He needs you in his life. We all have heard so much about you. The whole table was laughing.

"Hey y'all this is Christian Grey, my fiancée. I hope you are having a great time here in Italy. I know granmomma and the group has taken you all sightseeing."

"Yes sweet girl, your grandmother and Christian's grandparents have taken us to so many wonderful places. Thank you for inviting all of us."

"You are all very welcome."

"Now love, let me introduce to all these wonderful people that I grew up around and I am sure there are stories they could tell you but we won't get into them tonight."

"Starting with Freddie and Joan Baker. They are retired heart specialists and they have worked in many different countries."

"Timothy and Taylor James. They are retired from the army."

"Jared and Emily Long also retired from the army."

"Very nice to meet you all. I hope we have a chance to talk again. I would love to hear some stories about my angel here."

"Maybe we will get a chance before we all leave. As Annie's granmomma invited us here for lunch one afternoon. If that is alright with y'all?"

"Yes, well y'all are getting married tomorrow and then a honeymoon."

"That's alright we are not leaving for a while. We bought our home here and we have been traveling some. You all are more than welcome to come out. Just call granmomma and we will the guys come and get y'all."

"Sounds to us. We will let y'all mingle with the other guests."

They walked off and took a breather before they went over to the long table of Ana's FBI friends and their spouses.

"Would you like something to drink my love?"

"Yes, a glass of water. I can't believe Elliot hasn't said anything about not having alcoholic beverages here tonight."

"Yes I know and I heard Paula saying to the Chef that the champagne will be for tomorrow and maybe a wine and liquor bar."

"I think I will tell Paula to have the Chef put in a Prosecco bar tomorrow."

"Sounds good my angel. Shall we continue?"

"Yes Boo let's do this. My feet are beginning to hurt and my mouth from all the smiling and talking I have been doing. Don't get me wrong love I have loved every minute and I love you more and more each and every day."

"Alright now my FBI friends come on sweet man of mine."

They walk over to the last tables. There are so many friends they had to use more tables and put them together.

"Hey everyone for the ones that don't know me well I am Anastasia Steele but please call me Ana. For the ones that don't my fiancée, this is Christian Grey."

"Hello all nice to meet you and good to see the ones that were at my home and helped me. Thank you all for coming and I hope you all are having a wonderful time."

"Let's stop by the doctors table and speak to them for a few minutes?"

"Hello y'all are you all having a good time? I hope you are. We are so sorry that we are just now getting around to you all."

"No worries Ana we know there are a lot of family and friends here for y'all. We can talk in a few days. We have some good news for you both and will be sharing it with y'all in a few days as we wait for more information to come in. We have been talking with your grandfather."

"That sounds promising."

"Yes and it is but none of that now. Y'all enjoy tonight with everyone."

They walk back over to their table and take a seat. Ana slips her shoes off and puts them in Christian's lap. He just reaches down and starts rubbing them. Ana sighs and smiles at him.

"Well we did the meet and greet. We are tired. Paula, what time is this going to be over?"

"Well it wasn't supposed to last but a couple of hours but there were so many guests that it took longer. We will be having you both leave in a few minutes. I will let everyone know it is late and we need to separate you for the night."

"Oh hell no you won't, we are staying together. None of this not seeing each other until tomorrow and bad for the bride to be and the groom to be to sleep together. You can tell them but it won't be happening young lady, gran and granmomma."

"Well Christian come on, that's the way it is supposed to be."

"No gran. Ana, do you want to sleep alone tonight?"

"No love I do not not and we are staying together y'all and that's finally. You can kidnap me tomorrow morning bright and early so we can see each other but not tonight."

"Alright you two we got it."

"Thank you dear friend."

"Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention? It is getting late and time to call it a night. We have to separate the happy couple. We want to thank each and everyone of you for coming to the rehearsal dinner and we look forward to seeing you all back here tomorrow for their wedding. Goodnight all and our drivers will make sure you all make it back to the hotel safely."

Ana and Christian stand at the back of the tent and thank everyone for coming.

Everyone has left and the family is in the family room.

"That was some turnout. I didn't know so many were coming."

"Thank you grandpa and you my angel for inviting Pastor McCain. It has been a long time since the last time I saw and talked to him."

"You don't have to thank us son, we wanted to do this for you and Ana.

"Well y'all it is getting late and we all need to go to bed and be rested for tomorrow. It will be the event of the year here in Italy."

"Thank you Paula for making today and tonight special for me and Christian. I couldn't have done it without my sweet friend."

"You are more than welcome Ana and I was so happy to do this and tomorrow will be even more special."

"Goodnight everyone we love you all. See you in the morning."

"Goodnight and sweet dreams. Just think tomorrow afternoon you will be husband and wife."

"We can't wait."

They walk off to their bedroom and undress and get ready for bed.

"Ana my angel I want to do something tonight and I hope you will be alright with it."

"What might that be love?"

"I am not sure if you will agree with this but I have thought about it all day and now I am too worried to say it."

"Boo I love you, please just tell me."

"Ok well I know we were going to wait until our wedding night to make love for the first time. Now I would like to wait until tomorrow night when we are husband and wife to make love to you as a married couple."

"Oh my sweet darlin man that is fine with me. I am happy to just sleep in your loving arms tonight. If we were apart we would have this. As it is, come to bed, love and hold me and kiss me goodnight."

They lay down in their bed holding each other close and kissed a few times and said goodnight.

Morning comes early and there is some noise outside their room.

"Be quiet y'all you are going to wake them up."

They hear them outside the door talking.

"What in the world are they up too?"

"Well if memory serves me right you said they could kidnap you this morning. I am going to pretend I am asleep. I love you soon to be my wife. Give me a kiss and I will see you soon my love."

"Me and my big mouth. I love you too my Boo my love. I will see you soon and I will be the one in white walking down the aisle to you."

They kiss and just as soon as Christian turns over the door opens and the gang of ladies are waiting on her.

She puts a purple lily on his tray.

"Oh she is being fed a hearty breakfast just like you and then I have no clue what our ladies have planned for her."

Christian can't help but fall over in bed laughing.

They thought they were all slick this morning.

I love messing with him but I love him. He has stood by me the whole way. Never once wavering on what has happened. I hate that I treated him the way I did when we were younger but things were outta my control. I love El. He is my brother and he was always there for me. They stop at the hotel and pick up all the guys and head out of town. They don't drive far.

"What in the world are we doing here?"

They took Christian bowling and he won every time.

They found a race track and were able to convince the owners to let them drive the cars. With the help of saying Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Yeah they are both known worldwide and surprised the owners.

Christian raced Ray and lost. Then he raced Theo and won just barely making it over the finish line.

They went and did eighteen holes of got and everyone sucked at it.

Elliot took the men all out to eat on a yacht he reserved for them.

Grandpa and Ray told them all stories about Ana and Christian growing up. Oh they didn't leave Elliot out either.

They made it back to the dock and got ready to go home and shower and get dressed for the wedding.

They all stomped the grapes they picked and had a great time. Gran and granmomma were laughing so hard they fell in their barrel. They were alright though.

They walk off to her bedroom.

Ana goes in and takes off her clothes and sumergers herself in the luxury of her bath.

The music stopped and Chef Ronaldo walked out with a cake on a rolling table.

"Christian and Ana, would you please come up here?"

They walked up to the chef and waited.

"I made this cake with love for you both. I hope you enjoy it and I have a Christian his very chocolate cake."

They all stood there as Chef Ronaldo revealed the most exquisite, gorgeous five tier cake with roses wrapped around one side at an angle from top to bottom. It was a Red Velvet cake with buttercream frosting tinted with a touch of pink.

"Oh Chef Ronaldo, thank you. This is absolutely gorgeous and just what I wanted."
