Chapter 16 Recap
This was a busy chapter. I was just showing how Ana and Christian were helping everyone and showing their appreciation for all. I am not going into detail on what was in chapter 16 just saying that everyone met their team of security that will be going with them.

"Yes angel you sure are and what a lovely Captain you are my darlin wife."
He kisses her, not caring who is around.
"Alright enough of that for now. I have to take the ladies down below for a few minutes. I love you Boo so very much."
"I love you too my sweet angel."
Ana walks over and grabs Maddie's hand and they start toward the stairs.
"Gran are you and granmomma coming downstairs with us?"
"No sweet girl, we are staying up here. Thank you though."
"Alright, does anyone else want to go below with us?"
"Yes we want to go below with you and see this magnificent yacht of yours if it looks anything like the house it will be gorgeous."
"Thank you Beverly."
They notice the cherry hardwood floors in the hall and as they look at the bedrooms the same concept is there as well but there are very pretty colorful rugs on each side of the bed. Also Ana's blues, purples, yellows and all the spring colors that she has throughout the house are incorporated in the bedrooms.
"Christian went with your colors that you like. I think that was sweet of him."
"Yes Maddie, he is the best. He has done so much for me trying to please me. I told him I was happy and didn't need anything else but him."
"Yes, that man loves you girl so very much."
"I know Jennifer and I love him so very much."
"Well come on ladies let's go back up top and see where we are. I don't think he has gone far enough for you all to see our island that came up while we were here for our honeymoon. But you can see it from the back deck at home."
"Oh wow an island of your own? How in the world did you get an island?"
"The land that Christian bought was connected to an island. No one knew about it because it was underwater. After the water receded the island came into view and you can see where it is connected to our land."
"Oh my goodness that is awesome. Now not only does she have a yacht named after her, she has an island and I bet Chris is going to name it after her."
Maddie nudges Ana and hugs her laughing.
"Ok come on you I don't want no island named after me. Maybe one of our children when we have them but not me."
"Are y'all talking about having kids right now?"
"No not at the moment we have too much going on. When we decide to have a family we want to be home with our children, not out flying on a jet somewhere with a nanny at home with them. No we have talked and decided that we will be hands on with our kids, not relying on anyone else."
"That's good Annie. I think that's the way it should be until they are older and in school. That is what Randall and I want too. I know when I have my first baby I am through with flying jets. It will be time to settle down and be a stay at home mom and wife."
"Well that is what we are going to do too Maddie. We have the means to stay home. We can both work from home and two of my companies are back home. One in Georgia and one South Carolina. They are just a hop, skip and a jump for each other. The only other ones I have are over here and I only visit them once a year."
They start back up the stairs.
"Ana, is this what they call the galley?"
"Yes ma'am it is but I call it a kitchen."
"It is lovely. I like the way it is laid out. You have room to move around and you have all this counter space."
"Yes, I love my counter space. Christian saw my counter space in my kitchen back home in Seattle when I took him over there one time. That man has the memory of an elephant sometimes. I think he has a photographic memory like I do but I have never asked him."
They walk up the stairs and join everyone else.
"Well ladies what do you think?"
"You did good Chris and I love the galley with all the counter space."
"Thank you ma'am. Yes I took what I saw from Ana's house and had my contractor incorporate it here on the yacht."
"Yes, that is what she told us."
"Boo how far out are we? Can we see the island from here?"
"We didn't go out too far and no we can't see the island from here but we can come back out tomorrow and see it if we leave out early enough that way everyone can see if they want to."
"You can see it from the back deck overlooking the cliff."
"What cliff?"
"Look to your right, Cora and you will see the house and the cliff below."
"Oh my goodness the house is built on a cliff. Lord, how mercy."
"Cora you didn't see that when we walked down to the yacht?"
"Um no Chris I didn't. I was too busy looking at that magnificent ship I will admit."
"I can understand that Cora I didn't notice the cliff either as we walked down the stairs to the yacht."
"I know you didn't, Maddie , your eyes were on our yacht."
"Guilty as charged."
They all laugh.
"Well we are heading back in. Ladies come to the bow of the yacht and you can see the cliff and the backside of the house."
"Ok Chris we are familiar with that lingo?"
"Sorry ladies, that is in front of the yacht."
"Thank you sir."
They all ran to the front of the yacht to get a better view of the cliffs.
"Oh wow that is beautiful and a magnificent sight to see. I love the way the house is built on the cliff. It is a romantic setting or it is to me."
"I agree with you, yes it is. I love it and I am so proud of Christian for finding this place. I fell in love with it when I first saw it."
They made it back to the house and everyone got off and the other group went out for their ride.
"Ana, do you need any help with supper?"
"No ma'am you ladies go and have a seat with gran and granmomma. I am good but thank you for asking."
"Alright holler if you need any help."
"I will thank you now and go and have a seat. Gran and granmomma are sitting on the back deck."
The ladies walked out on the deck and they could see the island from the house.
"Wow, how big is it? Have they told you grandma?"
"No Maddie we don't know."
"Well it looks pretty big from here don't you all think?"
"Yes it does."
"Would you all like something to drink?"
They all chose water.
The ladies were talking and drinking their water. While Ana was in the kitchen fixin supper.
"Are you sure she doesn't need any help in there?"
"No hun she is fine. If she needs help, believe me she will ask for it."
"Alright it's just I feel bad that she is doing all the work."
"Oh she won't be for long. Chris will be in the kitchen helping her."
"Really Chris is going to help her cook?"
"Oh yes sugar he is. She has taught him how to cook. Just wait till you taste this meal not to mention their breakfasts they whip up. If not biscuits and homemade sausage gravy it will be pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage or whatever meat she decides on. Oh yes they fix breakfast burritos too."
"Oh my goodness I have got to see that in the morning. And I can't wait for supper. It already smells good."
"Yes it does. I take it Ana loves to cook?"
"Yes ma'am she does."
"Y'all look there/ Isn't that a beautiful sight with the sun glistening off the water on the yacht?"
"Yes it is. That would make an awesome picture. Hurry give me my phone Cora, it is right beside you."
"Here you go Maddie."
"Thank you ma'am."
Maddie got three very good pictures of the yacht coming in as Christian docked it.
"Oh wow look at these, they are so good. I am going to have to send them off and have pictures made of them. I want to give this to them on a canvas. Look, you can see Chris as he is getting ready to dock. I am not going to tell them about this so please don't mention it. I am going to send Ana the other two right now."
"Our lips are sealed dear right ladies?"
"Absolutely granmomma."
The others walk up to the back deck and take a seat.
"That is a little bit of a climb."
"Elliot, are you tired already?"
"Well no grandpa but you have to admit it is a climb to the top."
"Well yes but no one else is complaining about it and it's not straight up. The stairs curve so I wasn't tired at all."
"Neither was I Elliot. How about you ladies, especially the grans, were y'all tired?"
"No Ray, we were not. Elliot stop complaining."
"Ok, ok geesh."
"Would anyone like a glass of wine while we wait for supper?"
"Yes, that would be lovely, thank you. Anyone else?"
They all said yes please.
"We will get it Chris you go and help Ana we know you want to."
"Dang you know me so well. That's not good. won't be long, you will be telling me what I am thinking. Oh wait you just did. I am out of here. Enjoy your wine."
They all laughed as Christian walked back into the kitchen.
"What can do angel?"
"Hey Boo, you can prepare the salad. I have already diced the tomatoes for you."
"Am I putting everything that is here on the bar in the salad?"
"Yes love you are. There is a big bowl in the bottom cabinet to your left you can use. I am sure it will hold all the salad."
"Ok love."
"I have the lasagna in the oven. I am so glad we have double ovens here too. They come in handy when you have a lot of people over."
"Yes love they do and that was the reason I installed double ovens. I was also praying that I would get to see you in action here one day. Thank the lord for answering my prayers."
"Oh Boo I would not come here without you even if we were not together. It just wouldn't feel right. I love you and you are meant to be here with me."
He has tears in his eyes.
"Oh Christian my sweet man don't cry. We are together and that is all that matters. We love each other, we are married and happy. Our dreams have come true."
"I am sorry angel, I just can't help it. I have screwed up so many times with you over the years and I am so afraid that I will do something or something will happen and I will lose you."
"Oh my darlin sweet man there is no way that anything will come between us. You are it for me never think anything differently. I will tell you right now though if you ever stray, cheat or hurt me. You better pray to every god there is that I never find you cause you will not only be D-I-V-O-R-C-E-D you and whoever the bitch is will wish you never met me. Now with that being said. I love you, you love me and we are happy as two little jaybirds can be."
He looks at her like she is crazy.
"Anastasia, I promise you on my life, your life and any children that we may have that I will never stray, cheat or hurt you. I love you woman, you are my soulmate and that will never happen. I would rather die if I ever hurt you. There will never be anyone else for me than you. Damn woman I love you, I cherish you, I worship you with all my heart and soul."
"Damn Boo…that's…beautiful and I feel the same way. I will never hurt you or cheat on you. You know this hell I waited for you to be mine. I saved myself for you and only you."
"Yes love we are meant to be together and we are. Now let's finish supper."
"Oh hell the lasagna?"
She walks over to the stove and looks in the oven and takes a deep breath.
"Wow, it's still good. The bread is done, the dressing is made."
"The salad is almost finished."
"Slide over love and let me help you."
They worked side by side finishing up the salad with the sliced eggs, bell peppers, mushrooms and everything else you put in a salad.
"Have the guys set the other two tables up on the deck please Boo?"
"Ok and I'll be right back."
He walks over to her and kisses the daylights out of her.
"I love, love, adore you my angel Anastasia. Don't you ever forget it."
"No never and you never forget either. We are stuck together like glue."
"Yes my angel we surely are."
Christian walks out the door.
"Well I'll be damn they already set the tables up."
"Dav thought that you would all like to eat out here this evening."
"Yes we did Paula. I will have to thank Dav when he comes up to eat."
"By the way we are eating buffet style. Just come in the house and get your plate. The food is on the buffet table."
"Ok just tell us when?"
"I will holler for you all when it is set up on the buffet table."
"Alright bro we will be waiting patiently."
"I am sure you will be El."
Christian walks back into the kitchen to finish setting everything up with Ana.
"Alright come and get it."
"Do the guys know Chris?"
"Yes gran we already called them. See here they come with their own plates as usual."
