Deciding to take the direct approach, the children busted right into Mercurymon's coliseum to save the prisoners, including Vajramon. Just as they did, Piedmon and Machinedramon arrived and tried to take the stone. With the power of the stone, Vajramon was given great power and easily defeated Mercurymon. However, Piedmon overpowered him and took the stone from him. The stone was lost, but Vajramon was free. Now it's off to the next adventure.

Set Sail for Trouble
"What do you think is going on out there?" Sora questioned. Being prisoners, there isn't much for the right of them could do except wait to see what the Dark Masters might want from them. They didn't have to wait for long when they heard the door open up and saw Piedmon enter.
"Hello." Piedmon said.
"What do you want now?" Tai questioned.
"I thought you might want to see something." Piedmon said as he showed that he had the stone.
"A shiny yellow stone. So?" Matt questioned.
"Wait. That stone has my crest on it!" T.K. claimed as he could see it. "What is that?"
"We'll get to that soon enough." Piedmon said. "It would also seem the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. We ran into your children." When he mentioned that, all of them were on red alert.
"Piedmon, you better not have done anything to them!" Tai warned with rage.
"Calm yourself. They're unharmed, at least they were the last time I saw them." Piedmon said. "If they continue to get in our way, I can't make any promises." He warned before leaving. Now they were all really worried now.
"Musuko... Koji..." Kari mumbled as she's really worried now, and can only pray they make it out of this in one piece.

The Children
after their little adventure with Vajramon and Ranamon, the kids returned to CannonBeemon and entered hyperspace again. They're hoping the next time they encounter the Dark Masters, they'll be able to save their parents.
"Where are we going now?" Palmon questioned.
"Don't ask us. Ask CannonBeemon since he's the one driving." Veemon said.
"I don't know. I thought we were in that last place to save our parents, but we got sidetracked." Natalie said.
"Don't worry, Natalie. We'll save them." Biyomon said.
"I hope so. They're pretty strong, and now that stone is going to make them stronger." Benson said. None of them like the sound of that, especially when they could barley do anything against them.
"Heads up. It looks like we're reaching the end." Musuko said. The end of the travel was coming up and they soon found themselves in another part of the Digital World. The only thing was they were out in the middle of the sea. All they could see was ocean.
"We're at the ocean now?" Koji questioned. "Why did CannonBeemon bring us here?"
"Why would the Dark Masters come here?" Gatomon questioned. "Maybe we should..." Suddenly, they felt the whole place shake with them hearing explosions outside.
"Now what?!" Natalie questioned.
"CannonBeemon! Can you show us what's happening outside?!" Benson called. CannonBeemon gave that request. Monitors came up and showed that there was a large ship in the water firing cannons at them. "We're being attacked!"
"What was your first clue?!" Natalie said. "Do you think it's the work of the Dark Masters?!"
"If it is, they are going to be sorry. Let's go, Veemon!" Musuko called as he and Veemon hurried outside. As for the ship down below in the water, a bunch of digimon named Gwappamon were working the cannons while a digimon named Hookmon was taking charge.
"Watch yourselves! Be ready for anything!" Hookmon ordered. They were aiming to take CannonBeemon down. Just then, he spotted something flew out of CannonBeemon and was heading for them. "What is that?" It was actually none other than AeroVeedramon flying straight down to the ship.
"V-Wing Blade!" AeroVeedramon attacked as it launched an attack straight at the ship. It connected with the impact knocking Hookmon off his feet.
"Nice shot! Now let's take the ship!" Musuko said as they flew straight down. AeroVeedramon landed down and was ready for a fight. "You made a mistake attacking us. Let him have it!" AeroVeedramon tried attacking Hookmon, but then he was blocked and was knocked back.
"Actually, you're the ones that just made a mistake." Musuko was met with a giant digimon in gold armor with twin axes. "No one comes on the ship of Captain Olegmon without my permission, nor do they attack my crew."
"So you're the captain? Then, prepare to go down with your ship." Musuko said.
"You're a wee thing, but you're certainly a brave one for attacking us." Olegmon said.
"You guys started it! Now give us our parents, and tell those Dark Masters to take a hike!" Musuko demanded.
"Dark Masters? Who be that?" Olegmon questioned.
"Huh? You mean you're not working for them?" Musuko questioned. It would seem that there was a misunderstanding. When it was cleared up, Olegmon allowed all of them to come on the ship.
"I see. Just mere travelers looking for their family after some scurvy scoundrels took them from you." Olegmon said. "I'm sorry for attacking you earlier."
"It's not very nice to attack people." Koji said.
"You might be right, but when you are out at sea and see something most suspicious, you don't know what to trust." Olegmon said.
"So, your name is Olegmon?" Mason questioned.
"That be correct. The name is Olegmon, the gold pirate of the seven seas."
"Pirate? He looks more like a viking." Natalie whispered to Benson.
"This here be my first mate and trusted second-in-command, Hookmon." Olegmon introduced.
"I too apologize for our actions. We might be pirates, but we are not ruthless savages." Hookmon said.
"So, what are you all doing out at sea?" Veemon asked.
"What all pirates do. We are searching for treasure." Hookmon claimed.
"Treasure?!" All of them said.
"That's right. We've heard tales of a valuable treasure on an island. As pirates, we hear treasure, w see adventure." Olegmon said.
"Look here." Hookmon said as he showed them something. A Gwappmom came over them and unfolded a piece of paper. "Some time ago, we found this map."
"Wow! A real treasure map!" Musuko said as he thought this was rather cool.
"This map lead to an ancient treasure. Many have tried to obtain, but none have succeeded." Olegmon said.
"If no one succeeded, do you really think you can?" Koji asked.
"That's what we're going to find out." Olegmon said. "To us, this is a brand new adventure. It's just another challenge. Frankly, all you can really do is try so you can be certain."
"This map leads us to an island, and there are some riddles to solve." Hookmon said.
"This is so cool!" Musuko said as he grabbed the map. "I've always wanted to go on a treasure hunt. You think living on a beach, you could do that, but you don't."
"No one is thinking that." Natalie said.
"What is this great treasure?" Biyomon asked. "Gold? Rubies? Gems?"
"We don't know. We will once we find it." Olegmon claimed.
"I would love to be a part of this!" Musuko said.
"Yeah! Let's go on the treasure hunt!" Veemon said.
"Have you two dummies forgot? We're not here to treasure hunt. We're here to rescue our parents." Natalie reminded. Musuko would hate to pass this opportunity, but she's right.
"She's right. I wish we could join you, but we have to find the Dark Masters and save our parents." Benson said.
"You don't have to look hard. We're here!" All of them were surprised to hear that voice. They looked out to sea and saw MetalSeadramon emerged from below. "The only one that's going to get that treasure is me!"
"Oh no! It's MetalSeadramon!" Palmon said.
"So, you kids came after us after all." MetalSeadramon said. "That was a big mistake. The sea is my domain, and you're going down with the ship!"
"You don't scare us, you big water snake! Let's do it, Veemon!" Musuko said.
"We're going to turn him into sushi!" Veemon said as he hurried off the ship.
"Veemon warp digivolve to...UlforceVeedramon!"
UlforceVeedramon flew out to the water and attempted to strike MetalSeadramon with his sword, but he dived under the water and smacked his tail against him. When MetalSeadramon dived under the water, he completely vanished.
"Where'd he go?" UlforceVeedramon said as he searched around for him.
"He's under the water! He could come up anywhere!" Patamon said. They all searched around for where he might be. MetalSeadramon swam around underneath them until he smashed himself against the bottom of the ship. The impact shook the whole ship around with all of them trying to hold on. Then, he emerged out of the water and tried to destroy the ship.
"River of Power!" MetalSeadramon was about to fire his attack and destroy the ship.
"Not so fast, you oversized sea tuna!" Olegmon called as he acted fast. He jumped at MetalSeadramon and smashed against him with a powerful uppercut that knocked his attack away.
"You'll pay for that one!" MetalSeadramon called as he swung his head down right on Olegmon, but he held up his arms and was able to block the attack and hold MetalSeadramon up.
"You're mine!" UlforceVeedramon called as he tried attacking MetalSeadramon once again, but MetalSeadramon pulled away.
"Ray of Victory!" UlforceVeedramon fired his Ray and blasted MetalSeadramon with it, but he was holding off against it.
"Fire the cannons!" Hookmon ordered. The cannons were fired with all of them blasting agains MetalSeadramon.
"Enough!" MetalSeadramon called as he smashed his tail against the water and stirred it up with the ship bobbing around and used the water like a shield. "You're lucky I got more important thing to do, otherwise you all be shark bait. Once I get that treasure, I'll be back!" He called as he dived back into the water and retreated for now.
"Where'd he go now?" Musuko questioned as he looked around for him.
"Didn't you hear him? He's going after the treasure." Natalie said.
"First, they went after the magic stone that Ranamon and Vajramon had. Now they're going after treasure?" Koji questioned. "I don't get it."
"Why would they be going after that treasure?" Mason questioned.
"He won't be able to find it without the map, and we have the only one." Hookmon said.
"But if MetalSeadramon is after it, there's no telling what he'll do to get it." Benson claimed.
"We have to get to it first. Maybe there's a way we can use the treasure to get our parents back." Musuko said. "That means...treasure hunt!" He said with excitement. "Can we go with you, Olegmon?! Please!"
"Of course. There's always room for more on this ship." Olegmon claimed. "Let's set sail!" With that, they hoisted the sail and we're on their way to a treasure hunt.
...
Later
Musuko and the others joined Olegmon and his crew on a treasure hunt. Hopefully, they can get the treasure before the Dark Masters do. CannonBeemon remained in hyperspace, but at least they're traveling by sea. Since the treasure is on an island, they had to search for one.
"Land ho! Shiver me Timbers, my buckaroos!" Mason called as he spotted an island.
"Is that the island with the treasure?" Natalie questioned.
"I believe so. Now we just need to solve the riddles." Hookmon said as he looked over the first one. "As the seas attempt to drag you down, look for the path that is clear. Move like a serpent, unless you be swimming with the fishes."
"What does that mean?" Veemon questioned.
"It's a riddle. That's what we have to figure out." Gatomon said.
"One thing before we do. Whirlpools!" Patamon shouted. All of them looked and spotted the island had a series of whirlpools to tear ships apart, and they were heading right for it.

Next time, in order for them to find the treasure, the kids must use their brains. They must move quickly with evil hot on their tails.
