Naruto stood in the dark, eerie expanse of his mindscape, facing the colossal form of the Nine-Tailed Fox, Kyuubi. The fox's eyes gleamed with malevolence as it snarled at the boy before him.

"You really think you can take my power, Naruto?" Kyuubi's voice boomed, shaking the very ground they stood on.

Naruto clenched his fists, his resolve unyielding. "I don't just think it, Kyuubi. I know it!" He entered Sage Mode, feeling the natural energy surge through him, sharpening his senses and enhancing his strength. His eyes, now resembling a toad's, locked onto the fox.

Without wasting a moment, Naruto created shadow clones. "Let's do this!" he shouted. In perfect sync, the clones formed Super Massive Rasengans, the giant orbs of chakra humming with intense power.

"Attack!" Naruto commanded, and the clones rushed forward, each wielding their own massive Rasengan. The sound of their charge echoed through the mindscape.

Kyuubi roared, swiping at the incoming clones with its enormous claws. The first few Rasengans collided with the fox's claws, causing explosive bursts of energy. Naruto and his clones dodged and weaved, avoiding Kyuubi's ferocious attacks.

"You can't win, Naruto!" Kyuubi bellowed, its voice filled with anger. "I am the most powerful of all the tailed beasts!"

"We'll see about that!" Naruto shot back, his determination unwavering. He and his clones kept pressing forward, their Rasengans clashing with Kyuubi's defenses. Each hit pushed the fox back a little more, chipping away at its immense strength.

Kyuubi lashed out with its tails, smashing the ground and sending shockwaves through the mindscape. Naruto and his clones were thrown off balance, but they quickly regained their footing.

"Keep going! We can't let up!" Naruto yelled. More clones appeared, and more Super Massive Rasengans were formed. The barrage was relentless, each Rasengan slamming into Kyuubi with tremendous force.

Kyuubi roared in pain and frustration, its mighty form beginning to falter under the continuous assault. "You insolent brat! I will not be defeated by you!"

Naruto pushed forward, feeling the strain but refusing to give up. "This is for everyone I care about! I won't lose to you, Kyuubi!" He gathered even more chakra, his Rasengan growing in size and intensity.

As the battle raged on, Kyuubi's strength began to wane. The fox's growls became weaker, its movements slower. Naruto seized the moment, charging at Kyuubi with a final, colossal Rasengan.

"Take this!" he shouted, slamming the Rasengan into Kyuubi's chest. The impact was enormous, the explosion of energy lighting up the mindscape. Kyuubi roared in agony, its form collapsing to the ground.

But just as Naruto thought he had won, a dark, malevolent energy began to seep from Kyuubi, reaching out to him. His eyes widened in horror as he felt the fox's chakra contaminating his own.

"No... no!" Naruto gasped, feeling his strength fading away.

Kyuubi's laughter filled the air, deep and sinister. "You came to take my power, and now I'll take over you! I'll destroy everything you love!"

Naruto fell to his knees, his vision blurring. "I... I can't... let this happen..."

Just then, golden chains shot out of Naruto's body, wrapping around Kyuubi. The fox roared in fury, struggling against the bindings.

"These chains... Kushina Uzumaki...!" Kyuubi's eyes widened in recognition and anger.

Naruto, beginning to regain consciousness, looked up with a smirk. "Guess what, Kyuubi? I'm not done yet."

Kyuubi thrashed against the chains. "No! Not again! I won't let you trap me! I won't be used for your purposes anymore!"

With a mighty effort, Kyuubi formed a hand sign. "If freedom means dying, then so be it!"

Naruto lunged at the fox, but Kyuubi was faster. "Bokumetsu seyo—"

Suddenly, within Naruto's mind, Kushina appeared, her presence powerful and determined. "Sealing Art! Reverse Jutsu!" she shouted, forming a series of hand seals.

Both techniques collided, creating a massive explosion of energy that ripped through the fabric of space-time. Naruto, caught in the middle of his mother's power and the fox's rage, yelled in surprise as his world turned blindingly white.

For a moment, there was nothing but the intense light and the sound of roaring energy. Naruto felt himself being pulled in every direction, his body and mind straining under the immense pressure. He gritted his teeth, fighting to hold on to consciousness.

Naruto found himself lying on the ground, panting heavily. Slowly, he pushed himself up, looking around. It was... a forest.

Due to him being in Sage Mode, he could feel that it wasn't his mindscape. It was... Konoha? But wasn't he in the Lightning Country? Wait. Was he shorter? Or were the trees too big?

"Octopops? Captain—" Naruto called out, but his voice sounded strange to his ears. Higher-pitched, almost.

Wait... something was off.

But there was no time to waste. He quickly needed to meet with Granny Tsunade. He began to bolt, still in Sage Mode, but he felt something off. His muscles were chubbier. His hips were too wide. Perhaps it was the teleportation accident?

Then, he pushed his red bangs off his face—

Red bangs?! He didn't have red hair, and his hair wasn't that long...

Naruto skidded to a halt, his heart pounding. He looked down at himself, really looking this time. His body was smaller, his clothes baggy and ill-fitting. He was wearing a simple blue dress, the kind worn by Academy students. White sandals adorned his feet, and there was a light blue ribbon tying his hair back.

"What the heck...?" he muttered, his voice again startling him with its unfamiliar tone. Higher-pitched and distinctly feminine. He glanced around, searching for a reflective surface, and spotted a small pond nearby. He stumbled over to it, peering into the water.

The face staring back at him was not his own. It was a young girl's face, with long red hair and striking purple eyes that were almost blue but not quite. He gasped, splashing the water in shock.

"This... this can't be happening!" Naruto said, panic rising. "Am I... Kushina? No, this doesn't make sense!"

Just then, he heard a deep, mocking laughter echoing in his mind.

"Well, well, well. Look who's finally awake," the voice of the Kyuubi sneered.

Naruto clutched his head, trying to steady his thoughts. "Kyuubi! What did you do?!"

"Me? This wasn't my doing alone, brat. Your mother's interference collided with my power," the fox chuckled darkly. "And now look at you. Stuck in your own mother's body, back in the past."

Naruto's eyes widened. "No way... this can't be real. I can't be—"

"Oh, but it is real," Kyuubi interrupted, his tone dripping with malice. "You thought you could take my power? Now look at you. Pathetic. Lost. Helpless."

"Shut up!" Naruto yelled, his hands trembling. "I'll find a way to fix this. I always do!"

"Stop it," Kyuubi snapped. "You're making a fool of yourself. There's no going back, Naruto. You're trapped here, in her body."

Naruto stumbled back from the pond, his vision swimming. "No... this can't be happening..."

"You better start getting used to it," Kyuubi said, his voice cold. "This is your reality now. And you have no idea how to get back."

Naruto almost fainted, the weight of Kyuubi's words crashing down on him. He sat down hard, his legs giving out. "But... why? Why did this happen?"

"The clash of our powers," Kyuubi replied. "Your mother's technique and mine. It ripped through time and space, and now you're here. In the past. In her body. Kushina Uzumaki."

Naruto's heart pounded in his chest. "No... no... I need to find a way back."

"And how do you plan to do that?" Kyuubi mocked. "You can't even figure out what's happened to you, let alone fix it."

Naruto gritted his teeth, tears of frustration welling up in his eyes. "I'll find a way. I don't care how long it takes. I'm not giving up."

The fox laughed again, a dark, menacing sound. "Good luck with that, Naruto. You'll need it."

Naruto sat there, feeling the weight of his situation pressing down on him. He looked at his reflection in the pond again, the face of a young Kushina Uzumaki staring back at him. He took a deep breath, trying to steady his racing heart.

"Alright, Kyuubi," he said, his voice filled with determination. "I don't know how yet, but I'm going to figure this out. I'm going to find a way back to my time, to my body."

"And what makes you think you can do that?" Kyuubi sneered.

"Because I'm Naruto Uzumaki," he said, standing up, fists clenched. "And I never go back on my word. That's my ninja way."

Naruto took a deep breath, steeling himself. He needed to get to the Hokage Tower. If this really was Konoha, and if he really was in the past, he needed to find help. He had to find someone who could understand and believe him. He had to find a way back to his own time, his own body.

With a final glance at the pond, Naruto turned and began to make her way towards the village. Her heart was heavy, but her resolve was unbreakable. No matter what it took, she was going to find a way back. She had to.

Just then, an ANBU operative appeared out of nowhere in front of her, startling her.

"Kushina Uzumaki," they said emotionlessly. "Where were you?"

Naruto was uncomfortable with the way the person had addressed her by this new name. "Uh…I was training," she lied. "Every Hokage needs to be strong, dattebay…ne?"

The ANBU operative stared at her for a moment before nodding and vanishing. Naruto let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding. She sat on a tree branch, looking at the Hokage Mountain. There were only three faces. Dad and Granny weren't Hokage yet. Jiji must be younger then. Should she tell him that she was not Kushina and she was from the future? Would Jiji believe her? Probably not. Perhaps she should try to find her way back on her own for now.

Naruto stared at the faces on the mountain, feeling a pang of nostalgia and determination. "Okay, first things first. I need to figure out exactly where and when I am. Maybe if I can find some clues, I can piece together what happened and how to fix it."

She jumped down from the tree and began to walk towards the village. The streets were bustling with people, and everything looked so different yet familiar. She saw villagers she recognized, but they were all younger. The buildings were less worn, and there was a sense of peace that she hadn't felt in a long time.

As she walked, she caught glimpses of people who looked like they might be able to help. She saw a younger version of Sasuke talking to some other shinobi, and a young Tsume Inuzuka walking with her ninken. There were also young Shibi Aburame and Hizashi Hyuga discussing something in the distance.

"Man, everyone's so young," Naruto muttered to herself. She felt a mix of awe and frustration. This was a chance to see her village in a way she never had before, but it was also a reminder of how far she was from home.

Lost in thought, she didn't notice the group of kids running towards her until it was too late. They collided with her, sending her tumbling to the ground.

"Hey, watch where you're going!" one of the kids yelled. Naruto looked up to see a familiar face: dad…

"Dad?!"

Minato blinked.

Oops.

"Are you okay Miss Uzumaki?" Minato leaned closer.

"Oh, yeah, sorry 'bout that." Naruto said, rubbing her head. "I didn't see you."

Minato squinted at her. "You're Kushina, right? You should be more careful."

Naruto nodded, not trusting herself to speak. She quickly got up and dusted herself off. "Yeah, I'll be more careful. Thanks."

As she walked away, she could hear the kids talking about her. "She's acting weird," one of them said. "Yeah, usually she's so loud and confident," another replied.

Naruto sighed. "I need to be more careful. If I act too different, people are going to get suspicious."

She continued towards the Hokage Tower, hoping to find some answers. As she walked, she tried to blend in, observing everything around her. She needed to find a way to understand what had happened and how to get back to her own time.

When she finally reached the Hokage Tower, she hesitated at the entrance. This was it. The moment of truth. She took a deep breath and stepped inside.

The interior of the tower was bustling with activity. Shinobi and civilians alike moved through the halls, carrying out their duties. Naruto made her way to the Hokage's office, hoping to find Jiji and get some answers.

As she approached the office, she could hear voices inside. She paused at the door, listening.

"Are you sure about this, Hiruzen?" a voice said. "It's a big responsibility."

"I'm sure," Jiji's voice replied. "Kushina is strong and capable. She'll be fine."

Naruto's heart raced. They were talking about her. Or rather, they were talking about Kushina. She needed to be careful.

She knocked on the door, and the voices inside stopped. "Come in," Jiji's voice called.

Naruto pushed the door open and stepped inside. The room was familiar yet different. Jiji sat at his desk, looking younger than Naruto had ever seen him. There were other shinobi in the room, but Naruto's focus was on Jiji.

"Kushina, what brings you here?" Hiruzen asked, his tone kind and curious.

Naruto took a deep breath. "I was just passing through and decided to say hi," she said, trying to keep her voice steady.

Hiruzen raised an eyebrow but nodded. "Well, it's always good to see you. How have you been?"

Naruto smiled, feeling a bit more at ease. "I've been good. Just training and trying to get stronger."

Hiruzen nodded approvingly. "That's good to hear. Keep up the hard work, Kushina."

Naruto thanked him and quickly made her exit. She felt a sense of relief as she left the office. She had managed to get through that without raising too much suspicion. Now she just needed to find a way to get back to her own time and body.

As she walked through the village, Naruto couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and trepidation. This was an opportunity to learn more about her parents and the history of Konoha, but it was also a daunting task to find a way back. She would have to be careful and smart, but if anyone could figure it out, it was Naruto Uzumaki.

Naruto wasn't a genius, but she knew that she needed a seal-master to understand how she could go back to her time.

So, who was a seal-master in Konoha?

Right, Pervy Sage.

Looking for him would be too troublesome, so she decided to use Sage Mode to look for him.

She sat on the top of the Hokage Mountain and meditated. The 10-year-old body of Kushina Uzumaki was having a hard time absorbing natural energy. The sage training she mastered in her time felt almost foreign now. But after 10 minutes of intense focus, Naruto finally entered Sage Mode.

Instantly, the sensory information overwhelmed her. She could feel every tiny life form in the village, hear conversations from miles away. It took a moment to adjust, to filter through the noise. Then, she found them. Jiraiya was with Tsunade and Orochimaru. Right, that Snake-Bastard wasn't a traitor yet.

Naruto leaped off the mountain, aiming to make a graceful landing on the nearby rooftop. Instead, she stumbled, her new, smaller body throwing off her balance. She barely avoided crashing into a vendor's stall, the sudden stop sending a cascade of apples rolling down the street.

"Watch it, kid!" the vendor shouted, shaking a fist at her.

"Sorry!" Naruto called back, not slowing down. She leaped again, crashing into a clothesline this time. Fabric fluttered around her as she struggled to free herself.

"Hey, those were clean!" another villager yelled.

Naruto grimaced, finally breaking free and continuing her awkward journey through the village. She tripped over a pile of bricks, nearly knocking over a construction worker in the process.

"Careful!" the worker exclaimed, catching her just in time.

"Thanks!" Naruto said, bolting away again.

By the time she reached the tea stall, her heart was pounding, and she was out of breath. She took a moment to compose herself before stepping inside. Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru were gathered around a table, deep in conversation.

Tsunade was laughing, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "So, Jiraiya, I heard you got beaten up by a bunch of women at the hot springs again."

Jiraiya rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "It's not my fault! They were just so beautiful..."

Orochimaru's cold voice cut in. "You should quit doing such things, Jiraiya. One day, you might not even find your body if the women decide to punish you further."

Naruto gulped. Maybe this wasn't the best time to talk to him in front of his teammates. Just as she was about to leave, Tsunade saw her and called her by name.

"Kushina! What are you doing here?"

Oh yeah, Granny knew Kushina since they were kinda' family.

Tsunade waved her over, smiling. "Come on, let me introduce you. Jiraiya, Orochimaru, this is Kushina Uzumaki. She's a relative of mine and quite the firecracker."

Jiraiya and Orochimaru looked at her curiously, both nodding in greeting. Naruto forced a smile, feeling out of place.

"Hi," she said, trying to sound confident.

Tsunade looked at her, a hint of concern in her eyes. "What brings you here, Kushina?"

Naruto hesitated. "I needed to talk to Jiraiya about something... personal."

Jiraiya's eyes widened slightly, and he exchanged a glance with Orochimaru. "Uh, did I do something wrong?"

Orochimaru smirked. "Sounds like you're in trouble again, Jiraiya."

Naruto quickly shook her head. "No, no, nothing like that! I just need to discuss something with him... privately."

Tsunade raised an eyebrow but didn't press further. "Alright, just don't get him into any more trouble."

Naruto nodded and turned to Jiraiya. "Can you meet me at Training Ground 7 at 8:00 p.m. sharp? It's important."

Jiraiya nodded, looking slightly relieved. "Sure thing, Kushina. I'll be there."

Naruto thanked him and quickly made her exit. She felt a sense of relief as she left the tea stall. She had managed to set up a meeting without raising too much suspicion. Now she just needed to find a way to get back to her own time and body.

As she walked through the village, she couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and determination. With Jiraiya's help, she might just be able to find a way back. Until then, she would have to navigate this strange new world and keep her true identity a secret.
