By the time David was able to talk he and Yahsourah were the best of friends. One day they were playing tag when David tripped and hurt his knee. It started bleeding. David was crying and scared. Mary and Joseph were terrified knowing about David's bleeding issue. Yahsourah was calm. Walking over to Her brother She gently told him to hold still.
"Father," She prayed, "Thank you for giving Me the gifts you have given Me. I ask you to allow Me to heal David now."
"OF COURSE YAHSOURAH," GOD spoke to Her.
Yahsourah touched His knee and the bleeding healed up.
"Thank you, sweetheart," Mary said.
"You're welcome, Mom," Yahsourah smiled.
"Does this mean he won't bleed too much anymore," Joseph asked.
Yahsourah shook Her head.
"I'm too little to cure that," She said sadly.
Mary put an arm around Yahsourah.
"It's okay," she reassured Her, "It's about time for lunch anyway."
David started to run inside.
"Slow down," Yahsourah said gently.
David slowed down.
"Mommy," David asked, "I go to little kid school. Why doesn't Sourah go to school?"
"Girls can't go to school," Yahsourah said, "The Rabbis believe that school isn't for girls."
"Well then the Rabbis are stupid," David said.
"It's okay," Yahsourah said ruffling his hair, "I'm anointed by GOD, so I know everything I need to know."
"What does 'noited mean," David asked.
"Can you keep a secret," Yahsourah asked David.
"A course I can," David replied.
Yahsourah whispered in Her brother's ear.
"WOW. THAT'S SO COOL! DO MOMMY AND DADDY KNOW?"
Mary nodded.
"We know," Joseph said
The next day was a holiday. It was the start of Passover. The family got in the cart and started to head to Jerusalem. Yahsourah could see that David was upset. He had a rough morning. She gently touched him, making him feel better instantly.
"Thanks, Sourah," he said.
She smiled and hugged Him.
