Three months later Amy and Sheldon are having lunch when Leonard arrived holding a cup of tea.
Sheldon said "It's the Dean."
Amy said "Hello Leonard."
"I can't stop too long, the meetings never stop. Amy, your proposed new electron microscope building will be discussed later this afternoon in the meeting after next. Hopefully I should have some good news for you later this afternoon."
"Thanks Leonard, that could make a good day even better. My Ph.D student Hannah is having her Ph.D thesis defence today, you remember from the eidetic memory study. We reckon she should be finished in an hour or so."
"Will Hannah be your first Caltech student to finish?"
"Yes, I have been in the supervisory team for lots of students in the past at Harvard but this will be my first Caltech student."
"Let me know how she gets on, Ok see you two later" and Leonard left the canteen.

1 hour later Sheldon and Amy joined in the celebrations for Hannah's successful thesis defence.
Amy gave Hannah a hug "Congratulations Doctor."
"Thank you Professor, just a few minor corrections which I will put in tomorrow, today we celebrate!"
Sheldon then gave Hannah a hug.
"Thank you Professor Cooper, if it hadn't been for your big brain I would never have finished so quickly."
"Glad that I could help Doctor."
"Amy and Sheldon, do you remember my fiancé Simon."
Amy said "Hello Simon" then Sheldon said "I remember you from Dr. Cornwall's wedding. Are you ready for Harvard?"
Hannah said "I will be in for the rest of the week to sort out my thesis and tidy up my bit of the lab. Then in 2 weeks time we get married, 2 weeks honeymoon skiing in New Hampshire before I start my postdoc in the New Year."
Then Amy's phone started buzzing, it was Leonard.
5 minutes later in Leonard's office Amy gave Leonard a big hug after he told her the good news about the electron microscope building.
"You see Sheldon, it is good to have a friend in high places :-)"

Two weeks later, after the wedding, Sheldon shook hands with Simon and gave Hannah a hug and a kiss as he left the wedding with Amy.
As they left Amy said "I see you kissed the bride Sheldon."
"Yes I did, it is a non-optional social convention to kiss the bride as a wedding guest."
