Sorry for taking such a long time, but right now, as I stated before. I am writing a book, and it will take me off of fanfiction writing. I am so sorry for all of my readers. But this opportunity offered to me is one in a million, and I know some of you will understand it.

Now, I am still going to write a bit of fanfiction, and the updates are going to be coming, just slowly now. Sorry, again, but hopefully, this is for the best.

The next updates are posted on my Tumblr, and like I said, I'll still post them, but it will take a while. Perhaps some of you will no longer wait for them, which I get. Still, I want to thank each and every one of you for the support you have given me all this time.

Thank you!

If you wish to learn more about my book, I'll post updates and more soon! It will come next year. Hopefully, you all like it!

Chapter 38

Dumbledore found himself unable to look away from the man sitting in front of him. It was actually their first meeting, and Dumbledore couldn't help but be impressed by Lukas Muller. In his early thirties, Lukas exuded a certain charm with his stylish attire, perfectly styled hair, and a captivating smile that could easily win over any woman. Yet, there was this sensation of calm before the storm Dumbledore could not stop thinking about.

Lukas Muller was unlike any regular wizard Dumbledore had ever encountered. Though he couldn't quite articulate it, the wise old wizard sensed that there was something extraordinary about this individual that went beyond mere appearances. But what it was eluded Dumbledore, who could only smile at the young wizard who, just like him, smiled back.

"Thank you for coming so soon, mister Muller," Dumbledore said as he offered some tea and biscuits to the supposed German wizard, who gracefully accepted. "Sugar?"

"Thank you," Lukas replied, smiling before answering Dumbledore. "Thank you for inviting me, Professor Dumbledore. I must say that it is an honour to meet you at last."

"I didn't know. I was highly respected in Germany," Dumbledore joked, which caused Lukas to laugh softly.

"Well, you know how Germans are. They then hold grudges for a long time. Thankfully, most of them are as old as you!" Lukas's words caused Dumbledore to laugh loudly.

"Thankfully, some of them still are forgiving of my actions in the past," he replied before sighing deeply. "It's been decades. I know that my actions have no excuse. But, I thought I was helping them."

"The name Grindelwald resonates in the minds of many, professor. I'm certain you're aware that even now, he still has sympathisers," Lukas replied, his eyes glinting mischievously, unbeknownst to Dumbledore.

Dumbledore nodded slowly. "Yes, he was always a charmer," he replied softly, again failing to notice Lukas's smirk.

"Still, I doubt I am here to give you a therapist or session professor. Although, if you wish, I am all ears," Lukas stated gently, which caused Dumbledore to smile at him.

"Do not fret, Professor Muller, for I am an individual of advanced age. My past traumas have a tendency to be pliable and manageable. It is the youthful mind of a witch that concerns me greatly, and I beseech your aid in guiding her towards tranquillity. The destiny of the Wizarding World hangs in the balance."

Dumbledore said, and those words caused Lukas's eyes to become sharp, almost hostile, but it was a blink of an eye, which was not noticeable for Lukas, who nodded slowly, trying to keep up his facade of someone quite adept at hearing peoples feelings. The truth of the matter was that Lukas Muller was a persona, a character, created by someone called Pandoras' Actor. The guardian of the treasury in Nazarick. The one and only creation of Galadriel Melkor.

It's been such a long time since Nazarick arrived in this world. Although, it was hard to explain exactly just how and how many times they'd been displaced trough out the centuries.

The first time they arrived was about 2000 years ago, maybe a little more, and the whole tomb was in utter chaos. People were freaking out, including him - he won't deny it. But one of the most shocking things was that their lady had been taken away by someone or something. And right after that happened, a series of conditions seemed to affect them all.

All the guardians were assigned a critical mission, a quest that they absolutely had to accomplish, or else their lady's life could be seriously endangered. How or why exactly? None of them knew or really wanted to find out. At first, Pandora's Actor had a suspicion that this might be part of their lady's scheme, but as time went on, he realised that there were forces beyond even their creators' control. The universe was vast, and they were nothing more than a tiny pebble in an endless desert. And so, his mission started when all the guardians vanished once they accepted their respective quests.

Pandora's Actor wasn't certain where they would eventually end up. No one had the answer. However, there was one thing that they all understood: they would be "reborn" during a time when their lady was alive. That was the extent of their knowledge. None of them were aware that their memories would be erased until they reached a specific age or had a personal encounter with their lady.

He could only wish to be with his lady. But his quest demanded him to stay behind.

Pandora's Actor had a dual mission: to safeguard Nazarick and to weave a tapestry of myth, prophecy, and fairytales in this world to prepare for his lady's return. Easy, he thought at first. He simply needed to create the base that his lady would use to craft whatever future she wanted. So he did. Nazarick arrived in a world so strange and primitive. But it allowed him to play the theatre game with the inhabitants of that world. He became an oracle, a wizard, an angel, and a demon; he played many roles, met many people who would soon be known across history, and slowly crafted a myth that could be used in the future.

Every time Pandora's Actor finished his task of putting seeds in the fabric of history, Nazarick would inexplicably vanish, only to reappear several centuries later in the future to reap what they sow and to put even more seeds in the ground.

However, the last time, he had to take the mantle of a young man called Gellert Grindelwald. He soon realised that this was it. This was the last time he could prepare the scenario for his lady, and he enjoyed those decades. Perhaps a bit too much. Still, Dumbledore was the wizard he enthralled and controlled for a period. In his mind, Dumbledore was a pawn, someone who could be used and twisted to his liking. Yet, Dumbledore ended up becoming quite attached to him.

Now, Pandoras's Actor wasn't new to using different ways to play around with people. But Dumbledore fell in love with Grindelwald.

Strange fellow, Dumbledore. He had something for bad boys.

Pandora's Actor found it amusing. But useful. Now, he won't say that those years weren't fun for him. Because they were, but at the end of the day, in his mind, Dumbledore was simply a wizard who perhaps would help his lady in some way.

He never thought that this old wizard would become his lady's headmaster and source of some headaches.

I'll deal with you later, my dear pawn. For now, I must secure my lady's mind.

Pandora's Actor thought before paying attention to Dumbledore's words. "How would you help the girl?" Dumbledore asked.

Pandora's Actor, or in this case, Lukas Muller, simply hummed. "I first, must speak with her parents first. To get to know us and hear them out. After all, they can give me a good insight into their home life."

Dumbledore looked at him, with quite a surprise stare, wondering if he had heard right. "Are you assuming that she is being mistreated by her parents?" Dumbledore asked, with a stern tone of voice, which made Lukas shook his head.

"Of course not, Professor Dumbledore. It is simply to know each other and to guide them to what will happen during the session; after all, whatever Miss Potter wishes to speak with me shall not be spread around to her family. It will remain behind closed doors."

Dumbledore cocked his head in response to that statement, not fully grasping the significance of maintaining secrecy. Nevertheless, Lukas was already aware that he would need to address this issue. After all, wizards and witches were unaccustomed to this kind of setting.

"I suppose now, I understand why you need to meet with the parents first," Dumbledore replied.

"Exactly."

"Well, they should arrive soon," Dumbledore said and not soon after, the sound of the door opening, was heard and entering Dumbledore's office, were Lily and James Potter.

"I apologise for arriving so late. I have some business to attend," James said before his eyes landed on Lukas, who stood up quickly and smiled at them.

"Ah! Lord and Lady Potter, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am Dr. Lukas Muller," Lukas respectfully bowed before James, then turned his attention to Lily, gently taking her hand and gallantly kissing her knuckles. Lily was no stranger to such formal greetings, having held the title of Lady of the Potter household for many years. However, there was something peculiar about the way this young and remarkably attractive man conducted himself before her.

Almost as if he knew her from way before.

"Pleasure to meet you, Dr. Muller. I do hope we are not interrupting anything important," Lily said, and Lukas simply chuckled.

"Not at all, my lady. I am always open to helping any child who needs it," Lukas replied gently.

Dumbledore smiled before standing up. "Good. Now, I know there is something you three would like to talk about. So, I shall take my leave."

"Professor, you don't have to leave," Lily said.

"Don't worry, Lily. I have a meting to attent with some of the representatives of the ICW. I believe that James has already told you as much."

Dumbledore's eyes twinkled as James rolled his eyes.

"It this about Fudge, right?" Lily looked at James, who nodded.

"Yeah, hopefully, some outside pressure will help us get rid of him," James mumbled. "In anycase, thank you… Dumbledore for listening to us. You didn't have to call for some favours, yet you did."

Dumbledore let out a soft chuckle before rising from his seat and making his way towards the fireplace. "I am well aware of my past mistakes," he admitted, "but I am dedicated to rectifying them to the best of my abilities. And despite my appearance, I must say that the Minister's decision to send Dementors to the school infuriates me greatly."

Dumbledore smiled before the fire took him away.

James and Lily then looked at Lukas, who smiled at them. "Shall we start?" Lukas said as they sat at a table nearby.

"So, first and foremost, I want to address any questions or doubts you may have," Lukas said. Lily and James exchanged glances and let out deep sighs.

"I am a wizard, a pureblood at that. My understanding of this… uh, therapy sessions are limited. So, I would like to know what it will entail?" James asked, unsure.

"Well, first of all, trauma is hard to explain in terms that it can be anything and be represented in my forms. What my job entails, and what these sessions will do, hopefully. It's allowing Miss Potter to understand them better. Her mood and timing are what distress her and impair her. I cannot say what those traumas are, nor will I tell you about them."

That statement made them frown, as they could not quite understand it.

"You won't tell us anything about Harriet's sessions?" Lily asked with a frown.

Lukas sighed as he realised how little they knew about the whole thing. "I will not."

"How can we help our daughter if that's the case?" James asked.

"You should wait until she opens up about that. I wouldn't dare to discuss what happens in the sessions. Her trust and privacy are of utmost importance."

Lukas looked at both parents, who simply could not help but feel aggravated by his comments. Yet, they could not deny that he was speaking the truth. But for him, personally, this was serious and important. He, unlike the rest of inhabitants of Nazarick, understood his lady better than most. He knew all about her life, and the many traumas she hides.

He would rather die before spreading that information. And it was also the reason why he was the only one who could help his lady to remember who she was, no matter what.

"Will this therapy work?" Lily mumbled softly. "Will it help our daughter to fight… this… whatever this is?"

"It's my job to give Miss Potter the tools necessary for that. But it can take time, years even," Lukas replied.

Lily and James both shared a look before sighing deeply. "As long as it helps her," they said.

Lukas greeted them with a smile and felt grateful that his lady was fortunate to have them as her parents. Now, it was time to meet his lady and discover what could be done to assist her.

Soon enough, without missing a beat, Harriet entered Dumbledore's office, looking quite anxious and nervous.

"Hey, you both, and sir… uh?" Harriet mumbled nervously.

"Lukas Muller! Dr. Lukas Muller," he said with a smile as he bowed at her. "At your service… my lady."

Lukas said, and for the first time in thousands of years, he finally spoke those words.
