Eterna Forest
Lincoln and his sister, his friends, and girlfriend are currently on their way to Eterna City where Lincoln's next gym battle and Stella and Dawn's next Pokemon Contest awaits them; right now, they are on Route 205 where Stella was facing a male coordinator, each with a pokeball in their hands.
"I may not have made it past the Performance Stage at the Floraroma Contest you were in, but I will at least beat you in a Pokemon battle." said the coordinator. "Burmy, go!" He throws the pokeball and releases a small, black Pokemon with green leaves covering most of its body. Sam takes out her pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Burmy, the Bagworm Pokemon. If its cloak is broken in battle, it quickly remakes the cloak with materials nearby." said Sam's pokedex.
"Silcoon, go!" said Stella, throwing Silcoon's pokeball and releasing her.
"Burmy, use Tackle!" said the coordinator. Burmy leaps at Silcoon.
"Silcoon, use Harden!" said Stella. Silcoon's body glows white and shines, raising her defense before Burmy rams her, but not doing much damage. "Now use Tackle!" Silcoon leaps at Burmy and rams it, knocking it back.
"Burmy, use Bug Bite!" said the coordinator. Burmy leaps at Silcoon and bites her, but not doing much damage due to her increased defense.
"Use Poison Sting!" said Stella. Silcoon fires multiple purple darts at Burmy, hitting it; it turned purple under Burmy's eyes. "Looks like Burmy's poisoned." A layer of Burmy's skin suddenly slides off it.
"I think Burmy has the Shed Skin ability also." said Lincoln.
"Burmy, Tackle!" said the coordinator. Burmy leaps at Silcoon.
"Harden once more!" said Stella. Silcoon's body shines and her defense increases even more before Burmy rams her, but barely doing any damage. "Tackle, Silcoon!" Silcoon leaps at Burmy and rams it, landing a critical hit and knocking it to the ground with swirly eyes.
"Burmy!" exclaimed the coordinator.
"Way to go, Stella." said Lincoln.
"That was rad!" said Luna.
"Great job, Silcoon." said Stella. Silcoon suddenly begins to glow. "Hey, Silcoon's evolving." Everyone watches as Silcoon began to change shape; when the glowing stopped, Silcoon now resembled a butterfly with a tan and cream-colored body with a long, purple proboscis, and purple wings with red, blue, and cream-colored markings on them. Lincoln points his pokedex at Stella's newly-evolved Silcoon.
"Beautifly, the Butterfly Pokemon and the final evolved form of Wurmple. When flower fields bloom, it flits around, collecting pollen. Despite its appearance, it is savage." said Lincoln's pokedex. Stella looked in awe at her Beautifly before a look of pure joy appeared on her face.
"You're beautiful, Sil...I mean, Beautifly!" said Stella. Beautifly flies over to Stella and she hugs her.
"And according to my pokdex, your Beautifly learned Gust, Absorb, and Stun Spore when she evolved, and she has the Swarm ability now, which increases the power of her bug type moves when her stamina's low." said Lincoln.
"Good battle." said the coordinator as he returns Burmy to its pokeball; he walks over to Stella and gives her pokedollars. "I'll train harder for the Eterna Pokemon Contest."
"Then I will also." replied Stella. After the coordinator walks away and Stella returning Beautifly to her pokeball, the group continued travelling up Route 205; they soon reached a forest.
"Here we are; Eterna Forest." said Lincoln.
"And on the other side of it, my next Pokemon Contest awaits." said Dawn.
"And bro's next gym battle." said Luna. Lincoln looks around the area and feels that they were plenty far away enough from a city to open a portal back to his home dimension.
"I'm gonna send Pachirisu to Lola now." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, this looks like a good spot to open a portal." said Clyde. Lincoln uses his Poketch to contact Lisa.
"Greetings, brother." said Lisa.
"Hi, Lisa." Lincoln replies. "I'm ready to send Pachirisu to our home for Lola." Lisa was then shoved aside by Lola who looks eagerly at the screen.
"Send her over!" said Lola. A few seconds later, a portal appears and Lincoln tosses Pachirisu's pokeball into it.
"Did you get her?" asked Lincoln.
"Yes I did!" said Lola before she tosses the pokeball Lincoln sent, releasing the Pokemon inside.
"You take good care of her." said Lincoln.
"I will, Linky!" said Lola as she cuddles her new Pokemon.
"And remember; the name of the move I want you to use on Rusty is called Spark." said Lincoln.
"Got it!" said Lola with a grin on her face. After that, Lincoln ends the call and the group continues on their way.
"When I get to Eterna City; I'm gonna get Staravia back." said Lincoln.
"Okay." said Sam.
The group then enters Eterna Forest and start making their way through it.
"What kind of Pokemon live in this forest?" asked Clyde. As if to answer his question, some rustling is heard from some nearby bushes; they look to see a brown, rabbitlike Pokemon with cream colored fleece on the tip of its ears and on the lower half of its body, hopping out of the grass.
"Aw, it's so adorable." said Dawn. Sam points her pokedex at the Pokemon.
"Buneary, the Rabbit Pokemon. When it senses danger, it perks up its ears. On cold nights, it sleeps with its head tucked into its fur." said Sam's pokedex.
"I'm catching this one!" said Dawn, pulling out a pokeball. "Pachirisu, spotlight!" She throws Pachirisu's pokeball, and releases her. The Buneary sees Pachirisu and its eyes widen and shine, making Pachirisu slump. "Pachirisu, use Spark!" Pachirisu becomes surrounded by electricty and she charges at Buneary, ramming into it, but not dealing much damage than it should have. The Buneary leaps at Pachirisu and hits her with one of its ears, knocking her back.
"Pachirisu, Quick Attack!" said Dawn. Pachirisu charges at Buneary with incredible speed and rams it. The Buneary jumps at Pachirisu and hits her with one of its ears, knocking Pachirisu back.
"Pachirisu, use Spark!" said Dawn. Pachirisu charges at Buneary while surrounded by electricity and rams it, knocking it to the ground; it begins twitching while static electricity surrounds its body.
"Buneary's paralyzed." said Lincoln. Dawn takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Buneary, hitting it, and sucking it in; it wiggled around a few times until it clicked.
"Yippee!" cheered Dawn before running to Buneary's pokeball and picking it up. "I caught a Buneary!"
"Way to go, Dawn!" said Clyde. Sam looks up Buneary's information on her pokdex.
"This says your Buneary's a girl, she knows Splash, Pound, Defense Curl, Baby-Doll Eyes, and After You; she has the Klutz ability which keeps her from receiving effects from items she's holding." said Sam.
"Well, let's keep going then." said Luna. The group continues to make their way through the forest while looking around for more Pokemon to catch.
They soon come into a clearing where a large moss-covered rock was at the center of it.
"Let's rest here for a while." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, we should start making lunch." said Clyde. The group start taking food out of their backpacks and get to work; while they were making meals, the smell of them gets the attention of a white bug Pokemon with brown forelegs, and green wings.
Ten minutes later, the group finishes making some sandwiches for themselves.
"Who's ready to eat?" asked Lincoln. As they all lift their meals towards their mouth, the insect Pokemon quickly scurries over and leaps at Clyde, snatching his sandwich from his hands.
"Hey!" shouts Clyde.
"What is that?" asked Lincoln as he points his pokedex at the Pokemon.
"Nincada, the Trainee Pokemon. It grows underground, sensing its surroundings using antennae instead of its virtually blind eyes." said Lincoln's pokedex.
"For a Pokemon that's supposed to be 'virtually blind', it had no trouble finding Clyde's sandwich." said Stella.
"Must've smelled it." said Sam.
"Well, it wasn't nice to take something that didn't belong to it." said Clyde as he takes out his Eevee's pokeball and lets him out of it.
"Get it, Clyde!" said Dawn.
"Eevee, use Quick Attack!" said Clyde. Eevee quickly moves at the Nincada and rams into it. As everyone watches the battle, the moss-covered rock was giving off a strange energy.
Back at the battle, Nincada was just striking Clyde's Eevee with one of its forelegs.
"Eevee, use Swift!" said Clyde. Eevee releases a barrage of stars that hit the Nincada and knocks it onto its back.
"Catch it, Clyde!" said Lincoln. Clyde nods as he takes out an empty pokeball and tosses it at the Nincada, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking.
"Good one, Clyde." said Sam. Lincoln looks up Clyde's new Nincada on his pokedex.
"This says that your Nincada's a girl, she knows Sand-Attack, Harden, Scratch, and False Swipe; plus she has the Compound Eyes ability which improves her accuracy." said Lincoln.
"Good work, Eevee." said Clyde. Just then, the moss-covered rock suddenly starts to glow brightly, getting everyone's attention.
"What's with that rock?" asked Sam. Eevee suddenly freezes up and starts to glow, drawing everyone's attention towards him.
"Eevee's evolving!" said Clyde. They all watch as Clyde's Eevee starts to change before their eyes; when he was done, his body was longer, yellow, had green growths coming out of it, and green leaflike ears and tail.
"What's the dude now?" asked Luna. Lincoln points his pokedex at the newly evolved Eevee.
"Leafeon, the Verdant Pokemon, and the evolved form of Eevee. Cells similar to those of plants have been found in its fur. Its hard tail can fell a large tree with one stroke, and the tail's sharpness exceeds even that of a sword crafted by a master." said Lincoln's pokedex.
"That's so cool!" said Lincoln. "And this says he learned Leafage after evolving, and he has the Leaf Guard ability which protects him from status effects in strong sunlight."
"Awesome." said Clyde.
"What was with that rock?" asked Stella. Lincoln thinks for a bit and rememebers something that Professor Rowan told them before.
"This must be the rock that Professor Rowan told us about before." said Lincoln.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that." said Clyde.
"What do we do now?" asked Stella.
"I'm gonna make another sandwich, and after we're all done eating, we'll get going." said Clyde.
"Good idea." said Lincoln.
The group have just started their trek through Eterna Forest. What other things will they find within as their journey continues?
Meanwhile, back in Royal Woods at the Loud house, Rusty was being held by Lynn and Lori while he was looking down at Lola's new Pachirisu with a confused look on his face.
"What kind of squirrel is that?" asked Rusty as he struggles to break free of the Loud sisters' grasps.
"Pachirisu, use Spark on that jerk!" said Lola. Pachirisu coats her body in electricity, surprising Rusty, before she rams him in the gut, hurting it, and electrocuting the rest of him.
"He was shocked in more ways than one." said Luan before she laughs as Rusty laid on the ground, twitching, with smoke coming out of his mouth.
