Along the way to Berserk, Dawn Sawyer was approached by a taxi car. She stopped when the window began to roll. Much to her surprise, the two girls that sat in the passanger's seat were Elena Miyazawa and her mentor, Juri Sanada.

"Elena. And you must be Juri." Dawn greeted.

"Nice to meet you, Queen Bee." Juri said. "Care for a ride? We're heading to Berserk anyway."

Dawn shrugged. "Why not?" She got in and the taxi resumed its drive. "So why are you two heading to Berserk?"

"Well, I got a text from Misaki saying to meet her there and she insisted I bring Elena." Juri said.

"We saw your match against Hornet by the way." Elena said. "That was amazing."

"Thanks." Dawn said.

"By the way, I've heard that Kanae has taken herself up as your mentor." Juri said.

Dawn sighed. "I don't really need a mentor. She's a partner at best. She's really been pushing me the past few days with the special training courses."

"Really?" Juri asked. "Well, that does sound like Kanae. You know, she had a bit of a mischievous side to her back in the good ol' days too. Always stirring trouble between two other wrestlers, appealing to the crowd for their cheers, mocking her opponents into anger."

"That seems a lot different from the reporter we know." Elena said.

"Well, after Kassidy Klaws broke her back, she's never had much opportunity for that." Juri said. "She did resume her special training after the doctor cleared her of physical therapy, but she couldn't get back in the ring until she was officially declared fit. Now, I'm wondering if she'll pull the same tricks now that she's returned."

"Well, after these past few days, I give it a 92 percent chance of that happening." Dawn said.

That was when the taxi stopped in front of the wrestling gym. After Juri paid the driver, she and the other girls walked out to meet Misaki at the front of the entrance.

"Glad you're here, Juri." Misaki said.

"Yeah, it is a bit nostalgic to be here." Juri said. "So, what's this about?"

"You tell me." Misaki replied. "You were the one who told me to come here."

Juri's face became confused. "What? No. I'm only here because you texted me to be here." She pulled out her phone and pulled out the text message with Misaki's name. "See?"

Misaki also became confused. "That's not me. I got a text from you telling me to meet you here." She pulled out her phone and pulled out her own text with Juri's name.

"That can't be right." Elena said.

"Yeah, if neither of you called each other, who did?" Dawn asked concerned.

"AH!"

Rio's yells could be heard from the inside of the gym. The four girls jumped up in response to that.

"Was that Rio?" Dawn asked.

"Most of the gym already went inside!" Misaki said. She and the others got into the gym and ran inside. Much to their surprise, Rio was on her knees groaning.

All over the training ring, other girls were having similar problems. Both Sakura and Moe were leaning in the corner out of breath. Kurea was on her back. And Chinatsu was hanging over the apron. The rest of the Berserk girls stood outside in shock. In the middle of the ring was a woman in a black leotard with blue outlines. She had on a black demon mask with red eyes and red fangs.

"What is going on here?" Misaki asked.

"Oh, Misaki, thank goodness." Sakura said. She pointed at the masked woman. "This crazy woman just came out of nowhere and challenged us! None of us were able to lay a finger on her!"

"What?" Misaki asked. She growled and hopped into the ring. "Hey, I don't know who you are, but I won't have you attacking my girls like that!"

"Technically, they attacked me." The woman said. "I just offered up a challenge. Perhaps, you can offer me a challenge. I've wondered what a student of Jacky would do."

"You mean Jackal? Is that what this is about?" Misaki asked. "Well, you asked for it."

Misaki went to throw a punch, but the masked woman blocked it with her forearm and countered with a swift leg sweep. Before Misaki could hit the mat, the masked woman kept up her momentum by spinning around and kicking her across the ring. The sight of it made everyone's eyes widen.

"I couldn't even follow that move." Elena said. "It was almost instantaneous."

"Who is this girl?" Dawn asked.

"What's going on here?" asked a familiar woman. The masked intruder quickly raised her head across the gym to see Jackal Tojo entering the floor with Seichi Inoba with her.

Jackal looked at the masked intruder and widened her eyes. She gave a slight chuckle along with her little smile. "This is certainly a fine way to say hello."

"Sorry. Just wanted to make a dramatic entrance." The masked woman said removing her mask. She let out her long, black hair that complimented her fair skin. "Hello, Jacky."

"Sayuri." Jackal said nodding her head. "It's been ages."

"Wait. Sayuri?" Juri asked. "As in Sayuri Rogue?"

"That's her all right." Jackal nodded.

Dawn gasped all her breath out gazing at Sayuri who walked out of the ring. Behind her, the rest of the Berserk girls recovered and stood back up. Sayuri approached Jackal and the two of them hugged.

"That's the legendary Sayuri Rogue, Jackal Tojo's greatest rival?" Kurea asked.

"No wonder she was able to kick our asses like that." Rio stated.

"I've only ever heard her name, but what I've heard about her skills don't do her enough justice." Sakura said.

Jackal broke her hug with Sayuri and faced the ladies. "Everyone, I'm sure you've heard of Sayuri Rogue, former 10 time Shangri-La World Champion and current billionaire."

"Wow. That's some life." Hikari said.

"So what's she doing here?" Yumi asked.

"That's a very good question." Sayuri said. "I've been watching Berserk for over a year, and I must say, you people really are trending. Between Sakura's rise to strength, the epic match-up between Hagiwara and Blue Panther, and Queen Bee's war against the League of Evil, I just couldn't stay away. I wish to be involved in this."

"You want to join Berserk?" Inoba asked.

"That would be fun." Sayuri said. "I do miss the ring. Maybe I'll work as a part-timer. But the main reason I'm here is because I wish to invest in Berserk."

"Say what now?" Dawn asked.

"You heard me. Ever since I won that lottery, I've mainly been traveling the globe making investments that so far have been working out for me. I'm making more money than I can spend. And given how popular, Berserk's been lately, I figured I might lend a hand here too."

"Wait." Juri said pulling out her phone. "Did you send these fake texts to me and Misaki?"

"I did." Sayuri said. "I needed Misaki to stay outside for a minute while I stretch my legs with the girls here."

"So why are me and Elena here?" Juri asked. "We like Berserk, but we're not official members here. You planning to invest in Miyabi too?"

"Perhaps," Sayuri said, "But right now, I might need Miyabi for something special I've got planned."

"How special?" Inoba asked.

"To celebrate my investment to Berserk, I wish to host a special wrestling event at the beach." Most of the girls smiled at the sound of that. "I'm calling it the Beachside Battle. Wrestlers from Berserk, Miyabi, and maybe a couple of others are welcome to participate."

"That sounds like fun." Chinatsu stated.

"So we'll be wrestling the whole time?" Rio asked.

"Well, I'll also cover a full day of beachside activities for you to do before we begin the matches." Sayuri said. "That'll give you girls plenty of time to take a tan, play volleyball, and mingle. And, for a main event, I'd like a triple threat match between Sakura Hagiwara, Elena Miyazawa, and Queen Bee."

The three girls that were called out dropped their jaws at the sound of that. And so did their mentors.

"Us?" Elena asked. "Why?"

"Well, I heard that Sakura was Misaki's student, you were Juri's, and Queen Bee was Kanae's. And all your teachers were students of Jacky. A match between the three of you could be very interesting to watch."

"It would, wouldn't it?" Dawn said still starstruck at seeing her idol in front of her.

"Sounds fun. I'm in." Sakura said energetically. "What about you, Elena?"

"Sure, but don't think I'll lose like last time." Elena replied. "You either, Bee."

"Please. I'm ready for take you both on." Dawn said confidently.

"Fantastic!" Sayuri said. "And to close it all off, Sakura, Elena, I'd like you and Sweet Diva to perform for us."

"Really?" Sakura asked surprised.

"Sure. You really highlighted the ring after you and Elena last fought." Sayuri replied. "And what better time to perform again than at a beachside event?"

"Sounds great." Elena said. "We'll talk to our manager this afternoon."

The whole gym talked among themselves clearly excited for the upcoming event. While they did that, Sayuri turned to Inoba, who looked pretty pleased, and Jackal, who kept her smile solid.

"It's never a boring moment with you, is it, Sayuri?" Jackal asked.

"Whoever accused me of being boring?" Sayuri asked. "Still, it is great to see you again, Jacky."

"Good to see you too, Sayuri." Jackal said.

"So I guess you're a partner now." Inoba said.

"That's an accurate assumption." Sayuri said. "And trust me, the future of Berserk is going to be spectacular."
