Harlington Residence, 8th of September 2015, Morning:
The sun shined through the gaps of the window's curtains. Inside, is a dark brown haired girl, with a short height, wearing a green shirt and green bottoms, with white plain socks. That girl is Alisia.
The sun shone into her hair covered brown eyes, which caused her to wake up. She then crawled off from the bed, but ended up falling to the floor with a soft thud.
"Oww..." She held her head in pain, but then she sighed and headed to the bathroom to get herself cleaned.
After a few minutes, Alisia came out of the bathroom, wearing a white collared shirt with a green pullover featuring the school's symbol and her name tag. She pairs this with a green knee-length skirt and white socks. Alisia grabbed her small bag and a pair of shoes before she headed to the kitchen to cook breakfast.
In the kitchen, she took out two slices of bread from the fridge and a jam of strawberry, along with a bottle of milk from the fridge. She pushed down the pressure button, which brought the bread down inside the toaster, warm like lights appeared from inside the toaster, as it radiated heat to the bread.
As the bread was being toasted, the home's telephone rang, and Alisia walked towards it and picked it up. "Yes? Who is this?" Alisia asked in a soft and low tone.
"Ah, Alisia, dear... How's your morning?" a voice of an older woman, that is her mother, Maria. Alisia sighed and turned on the audio before she walked back to the kitchen, remaining silent.
"Honey? Are you there?" Maria talked through the phone with a concerned tone, but of course no respond from Alisia.
"I know you're still mad with me leaving without telling you, but I have a job that is dire, your father really need an extra hand in his business." Maria sighed. "Well, how's Margaret? Has she called you yet? Well I heard Miss Himari hasn't been able to contact her much eversince she went to college... and also your father's doing alright in here."
There was only silence from Alisia, just standing in front of the toaster. The toaster then popped out a well cooked darken bread, which can be heard through the phone by Maria.
"Ah, you're making toasted bread again? You're quite good at it.. I wish I could cook for you everyday." Just another silence from Alisia as Maria spoke through the phone, while Alisia was placing the toast down the plate, slicing both with strawberry jams, Maria released a heavy sigh.
"Alright then... Mother's a bit busy right now, I'll call you later... See you later." Maria said in a heavy tone before the call ended.
Alisia began consuming her food for a few minutes, before then she finished and washed the dish. Then she took her bag and left the house, locking the door behind her, as she started walking towards school, passing houses' similar to others, with students saying goodbye to their parents.
Alisia looked at them and sighed again. "They all have parents at home, but I don't..." She thinked to herself.
School , Day time:
After about 10 minutes of walking, Alisia was about to enter the school gate when she saw a blonde-haired girl struggling to walk. Alisia, concerned, approached her and asked in a low and polite tone. "Feeling a bit under the weather?"
The blonde girl looked around and saw Alisia, which she's taller than her by a few centimeters. She looked at Alisia with a tired face and nodded.
"Need a hand?" Alisia offered.
She looked down at Alisia, shaking her head, and continued walking on her own.
"You definitely need a hand." Alisia approached her and placed the girl's arm on her shoulder. Though Alisia was quite small, she tried her best to support her.
"So, what is your name?" Alisia asked the girl.
The blonde girl looked at Alisia and spoke in a low and tired tone, "Lily... Lily Carter."
"Oh, it's you... Well uh... I almost forgot... Should I take you to the clinic again?"
Lily looked at Alisia, and shook her head. "I'm fine. Just drop me off at my class."
"Alright, then. Where is your class?" Alisia asked as she helped carrying Lily through the gate.
"10-A..." Lily said in a tired tone.
Alisia gave a surprised look on her face, and smiled in an awkward manner, "Ah, so we're classmates again? From junior to now..."
After a few more minutes of talking and walking, they arrived at the classroom, and Alisia lets go of Lily. "Still weak, hm?"
Lily regained her balance and stood on her own legs. "Tried waking up at 4 AM... Woke up at 5 instead."
Alisia rested her head on her desk, "At least your tried."
Lily then sat down on the desk beside Alisia, "So... Have you met your parents again? Or your old cousin?"
Alisia went quiet upon the mention of her mother and her cousin which was absent from contact with her aside from limited contact through phone calls.
"You're still angry, I see..." Lily released a sigh before then she pulled out some books from her bag.
The bell rang, signaling the start of the first lesson of the day, in the new semester.
