"Romance was in the air and everyone was being picked for the secret True Hearts Day dance that Cupid and her friends had been setting up for a while. The message had been sent out quietly to couples that wanted to spend the holiday together without drawing in that much attention in order to avoid getting noticed by Headmaster Grimm. All in the while was drama happening with the announcement of a royal and rebel dating one another, to which has made the school unsure if it would affect their stories. Despite how it went against the tradition of following their stories, though it didn't seem to matter for Ashlynn and Hunter. Despite seeing them being together, the only one that felt out of place was Cupid herself who didn't have anyone to ask out to the dance. Despite being the daughter of a love god and able to woe anyone with a flick of his hand, she didn't have that much confidence in having a relationship. Hopefully before tonight she has the courage to ask out the boy that helped her out with the party before anything happens."

Afternoon-Enchanted Forest

Having sneaked out of Ever After High with several boxes filled with decorations, snacks and anything else to make the party filled with excitement and love. Cupid was leading the group as her friends were curious about why the party would be hosted in the forest that was filled with all manners of animals. Both from Eternia and their own kingdom that grown custom to the forest.

"My father Eros would always take his dates out in the forest because there were no distractions. No people, no buildings or anything to ruin the atmosphere. Just the peaceful sounds of nature and animals being with their true loves."

The angel explained and had several doves fly over her which represented the explanation of nature being the environment perfect for love to blossom for everyone who desired someone to spend their life with. Continuing their walk deeper into the forest, Roboto's head was spinning around like an owl to keep an eye out for anyone that was curious about their trip and or shadow beasts that have been rumored to been seen in order to avoid being noticed by the guards.

"Not to be a buzzkill but are you sure that we want a walking suit of armor attend the part? I don't think there's anyone that would be capable of doing a dance with Robot."

Briar whispered to DJ that while it was helpful to have some muscle in lifting up the heavy items and stand as guard if anyone would attempt to rat their party out. It felt sad that he might not be able to have someone to dance with once the party had started.

"Do not worry Briar Beauty. Despite everyone's enjoyment of the party, I will be studying socializing and learning about the emotions that will be displayed on the dancefloor. Along meeting the performer who will host the party."

Roboto responded to the girl which caught Briar off guard at how good his hearing was as DJ and Dexter chuckled about being careful when someone is close by. They stumbled upon a small cottage that made everyone questioned that the party would happen here. Walking over to the door, Cupid gave a distinct knocking on the door which showed the slider move along a pair of eyes staring at her.

"Password."

A voice asked Cupid about stepping into the cottage as Cupid pulled out a heart symbol that showed her name that was written in cursive. It took several seconds before the door opened up showing none other than Krass who was helping out with the True Hearts Day party and keeping the cottage protected. He noticed Teela's brother which caught him off guard with him helping out and how he'd tell her about his involvement.

"Please don't tell Teela about this. I'm doing it because there's going be free snacks, kind of want to change from eating meet to sweets."

He pleaded to DJ before letting the four in to help with setting things up as the small cottage was bigger on the inside. It took Dexter, Roboto and DJ by surprise by the place and seeing several forest animals helping out with keeping things nice and clean.

"This is sure going get people excited and forget about drama happening at school. I mean despite my brother being all royal and wanting everyone to follow their destinies, that shouldn't mean some people could be together."

Dexter stated in an optimistic tone of everyone having the choice to be with the person they desired to be with. Hearing that alone made Cupid's wings flutter since it had seemed her heart was meant for his. Though she stopped her wings quickly to avoid being noticed since it would be embarrassing for someone like herself to fall head over heels for someone, it was usual the other way around.

"Try saying that to have of the kingdoms on Eternia. It's not easy to ask someone out, there's usual who offers who to help their home. Making alliances by arranging marriage, heck. There was this one time when a prince tried to court my sister. Sadly, the prince is still trying to find a way to make his hair grow back."

DJ listed several ways how most dates were form on Eternia and that his sister had an issue on being asked on the date since she wasn't a maiden but a warrior wanting to prove herself to her father and the entirity of Eternos. Briar huffed at the thought of it not being impossible for Teela to meet someone here at the dance since she was in charge of sending out invites to her classmates of Ever After High.

"Don't worry. If Teela won't find her True Heart's date at the party, then she'll learn a thing or two from me since she's been invited to the party. I asked Apple to help out with a look to help relax and look stylish when she arrives tonight."

She informed DJ that her sister would be coming to the party and enjoy herself as an Ever After student amongst friends. The boy sigh at how confident she sounded in the possibility in Teela cutting loose and having fun, but it was better that than her finding out now he was helping out with this party. Just as everyone continued in getting things ready, Cupid decided to try and ask Dexter out to the party since the others were busy and she had the chance to talk to him.

"Hey, Dexter. I was wondering about something that I hope you could help me with."

Cupid spoke out nervously toward him as the prince nodded with enthusiasm since he was in a good mood to listen to whatever she had to say. With how close she was to him and having trouble figuring out what to say towards the prince, the pink haired angel took a second to think up of a question to ask Dexter.

"Do you have any plans of asking anyone out?"

She asked which left her nervous since wanted to go slow and build it up, but the anxiety and heart beating in her chest made it impossible to keep quiet. Dexter didn't know how to respond toward her and importantly that he was caught off guard by Cupid's curiosity in him finding someone to take for the party tonight.

"I mean. I was going to go with my brother since I keep on eye on him since he mostly draws in too much attention. There aren't that many princess or prince that would ask me out."

Dexter responded to her that while he had a nice personality and just as attractive as Daring was due to how helpful he was. Though it caught Cupid off guard as it seemed he had plans for tonight, feeling sadden by the news and understanding his reason. Her phone suddenly buzzed in her pocket which jump scared Cupid's heart as she answers it to hear about more supplies coming to her room.

"I'm really sorry to leave you setting up but I have to rush back to my dorm so Headmaster Grimm or that swan girl see it and ruin the fun."

Apologizing for leaving her friends to handle getting everything ready for the dance tonight. They didn't seem to mind getting things ready and understood how important it was to keep things secret, in which left Cupid to rush out of the cottage as the winged girl took a moment to forget about the abrupt question she asked of Dexter. With her being by herself and having the wildlife hear her voice since she needed the trees around her to help let out her personal feelings that despite being a daughter of affection, she could not find some for herself.

"A hopeless romantic all my life. Surrounded by couples all the time, I guess I should take it as a sign."

Cupid started to sing softly as she noticed around the trees was numerous animals finding their matches to spend their life with. It was like this back at Ever After High since she noticed the numerous couples that were together, whether they were royal or rebel they were happy. Which was strange since represented the emotion of love and didn't have anyone to share the feeling with.

"I'm feeling lonely. Oh, I wish I'd find a lover that could hold me. Now I'm crying by myself, so skeptical of love. But still, I want it more, more, more."

Placing her hand upon her heart as the wings on her back started to flutter which left her to life in midair as she had several bird couples dancing with her. Cupid smiled at the sudden company that would help with her song, but she still felt sadden of not asking Dexter out.

"I give a second chance because I'm Cupid. But now I'm left here feeling stupid."

She spoke about that despite failing the first time, Cupid believe it might be possible to try again during the dance since her family didn't take no for an answer when looking for their true love.

"Oh, the way he makes me feel that love is not for me. I'm feeling so dumb."

Admitting to herself how she felt dumb in not telling Dexter that she wanted to dance with him. Cupid descended onto the grass where she said her goodbyes toward the birds as she continue her walk back to school where she noticed the various couples being together.

"I look for my arrows every day. I guess they got lost or flew away."

Suggesting how it would have been easy to shoot Dexter with an arrow but thought it wouldn't be meaningful. Keeping to herself and noticing Headmaster Grimm and Duchess by the side, Cupid stayed hidden as she rushes to her dorm room.

"Waiting around is a waste. Been counting the days since November. Is loving as good as they say?"

She asked herself how the wait for her to find true love felt this hurtful and unable to be reached for. Making into her room, Cupid saw more boxes for the party and decorations dedicated to the holiday. Sighing to how she could be the only child in her family to not have a relationship with anyone, Cupid leapt onto her bed where she saw a photo of her siblings and father enjoying company, they were giving one another along the while of spreading love across the kingdoms.

"I'm feeling lonely. Oh, I wish I'd find a lover that could hold me. Now I'm crying by myself, so skeptical of love. But still, I want it more, more, more."

Responding that she would do anything to get her own true love which motivated Cupid to rise from her head as she went on to bringing the boxes back to the party in secret. Pulling out her phone to text several friends that know about the party to help out, she looked over to the window and see Blondie, Cedar Wood and Hopper Croakington the second as they were able to catch the boxes she dropped from her window.

"I give a second chance because I'm Cupid. But now I'm left here feeling stupid. Oh, the way he makes me feel that love is not for me. I'm feeling so dumb."

She told herself quietly as Cupid descended from the window gracefully and landing on the grass with her friends. Leading to the cottage and for them to meet up with the others, they welcomed the additional help while Cupid stayed back due to despite thinking about going back to ask him out. She wasn't able to do it in which left Cupid to walk back rubbing her arm about why she couldn't muster the courage to ask him out.

"Hopeless girl is seeking someone who will share this feeling. I'm a fool, a fool for love, a fool for love."

Muttering to herself as the girl walked over towards a lake where she saw her reflection against the water to think there was no chance in asking him out. Cupid's hand clenched into a fist as she lets her wings spread out which caused the birds to flutter above her and nearby animal couples to help her with the emotions going through her. It also attracted the attention of someone else who heard the singing from afar and heard how sad she sang.

"I give a second chance because I'm Cupid. But now I'm left here feeling stupid. Oh, the way he makes me feel that love is not for me. I'm feeling so dumb. I give a second chance because I'm Cupid. Cupid spoke before finishing her song as the animals around her soon left the girl with her thoughts and to think about why she felt scared about asking Dexter out. With having let out her emotions and thinking that it seemed impossible to ask him again, Cupid felt someone approaching her as she turned around to see a familiar face that she'd didn't expect seeing in the forest.

"You shouldn't say that your dumb if you have strong feelings for someone you want to date."

Advising her as it came from He-Man who was with Battle Cat as the two were doing training when they heard the girl's singing. Cupid was speechless towards him since he almost looked like her father Eros but had an aggressive side when it came to a fight.

"He-Man. I didn't think you'd be here since this is usually a place for couples to be with."

She responded at him being here since the rumors of this mysterious hero would be either on the battlefield or traveling the plains of Eternia in search of people in distress. Meaning that she was in distress if he'd heard her song.

"Much like yourself since you already have someone you want to be with. But why aren't you with that person?"

He asked to see if she'd respond to him as Battle Cat allowed her to rub his fur to help calm her nerves as Cupid felt relaxed being by the large cat's side. While she enjoyed the company that she was being treated with, it didn't help with asking out Dexter.

"Because in my family, Cupid's can date anyone without fear or regret in who we get an interest in. But when I see Dexter, my heart starts pumping and my mind races off like a dove trying to reach the sky."

Cupid explained about the feelings that were inside of her when she tried to ask out Dexter. While she was looking at the man who stopped Keldor from ruining Legacy Day, she didn't know his true identity which was Prince Adam who was screaming on the inside that Dexter didn't know how lucky he was to get the attention the daughter of a love god. Thinking how Dexter deserves a shot at having someone that enjoyed being close to him, the champion of Grayskull tried to help give advice to the love seeking girl.

"If anything. You need to embrace that fear so that you can conquer it, the more you hide it the more you'll be afraid. If you meet this Dexter person again, then announce it to him. Because you never know when you won't get a chance like this again."

Giving her advice to ask him out to the dance and enjoy the party together. Having understand what he had suggested and getting confidence in confronting Dexter, Cupid gave him a quick hug before rushing back to her dorm room to get ready for tonight's party. With seeing the winged girl confident about seeing Dexter again, Adam lets out a sigh of relief at how he might have gotten his friend a girlfriend.

"You know what Cringer? I think I might have this champion thing handled."

He said to Battle Cat as he felt confident when he offered advice to people whenever he was He-Man. It made easier for people to know that he was Adam since he didn't seem to be the fighting type, though he'll need to be ready for tonight since Cupid sent him an invite as well. There were going to be tons of students attending the party and finding people to go out with, maybe if he was lucky there be someone to ask him out to dance.

Night Time-Ever After High

It was midnight at the school and everyone had fallen asleep, from that of the faculty and its students who were resting peacefully in their rooms. In Raven and Apple's room was both girls resting in their beds peacefully, though while it seemed that they were sleeping. Their eyes opened wide to where they looked over to see the moon high in the sky which dedicated it was time to head out.

"You ready?"

Apple asked her roommate as she removed her covers to show a fully dressed clothing on herself and appearing ready for the True Hearts Dance. Raven smirked at the princess before removing her covers showing how she was already dressed for the party and ready to head out with her. Pointing over to the window where she had made a rope for them to climb down from their room, the two walked over where they descended to the ground where they saw Teela along with Evelyn who showed the two her invite to the party.

"It's better to not ask how she got an invite. But she and the others made a promise to not start any trouble."

Teela explained at Evil Lyn's invite as the four girls made their way into the forest where they followed the directions that was placed in the invitation. Continuing their walk deeper past the trees, they eventually the rest of their classmates heading into the cottage and noticed Krass standing guard if there was any trouble coming.

"Krass?"

She called out his name as the helmet wearing boy noticed Teela and the others which left him nervous since he didn't look like the romantic type to be around these types of events. He requested to see their invites to where they were allowed to attend the party as Krass soon lets the four in so they could see the work that Cupid and the others had done for their friends. There decorations and signs dedicated to the lost holiday, one of the important things was several hearts hanging above the ceiling waiting to be dropped onto the ground.

"Isn't this a quaint gathering? Though I'm only here to see how everyone's stories will go. Whether they'll either disappear if any of them start dating each other."

Evil Lyn spoke with amusement which left Apple and Raven to glare at her since she was taking her role as an evil witch seriously as she made her way to find any of her friends that were at the party. The three girls decide to walk around the place to see if there was anyone that they knew where here, Raven noticed by the side was Adam who was keeping to himself and enjoying the music that was being played.

"Prince Adam. Shouldn't you be on the dance floor enjoying the moment? I mean it's kind of one of the things that future kings need to know if their going lead a kingdom. Case in point, Daring Charming."

She asked the boy and pointed over toward Dexter's brother who was wooing numerous princess's by his side and gave each of them a smile with his perfect teeth. The prince chuckled at Raven's joke and was right that the best way to meet people was being apart of the party, especially when it came mingling amongst the crowd.

"You'd think that but my friends are already doing that for me. Besides, I'm waiting for this party's special moment. It apparently deals with Cupid explaining the story of True Heart's Day and have all the hearts drop down to everyone where they'll share it with their one true love. Guess we're going to be out of hearts then, won't we?"

Adam explained about the special event and them being the only single people here which made Raven laughed at the joke he made. Though it be interesting to see who would be an interesting match as they looked over at the DJ station where Roboto was helping out with making the bass go louder, they looked over to see the operator who was Melody Piper. Daughter of the Pied Piper who smirked at the sight over everyone enjoying themselves, but needed a bit more rhythm at the dance floor.

"Just because you got love in your heart. Doesn't mean you can put in your feet, let's get this dance going!"

She announced to everyone as Melody placed several albums in the DJ set and had her music place across the entire room. Everyone started jumping on the dance floor with the beat flowing through the air, all in the while was the Eternians trying to adjust to the exciting environment. Meanwhile on the side was Skeletor and his friends with their own styled clothing and studying the movement of their classmates.

"So many candidates to choose from my friends. Especially since everyone else can get their hearts broken over with only one sentence."

He asked as the skull face teen kept an eye out for potential members for the council of havoc since there were many people who could end up upset and be perfect to recruit. While the rest decided to enjoy themselves since it was good to have fun once in a while, R'qazz looked over to notice Briar Beauty dancing with several of her friends.

"I see that you're interested in dancing with the sleeping princess. Think she'd mind you shedding your fur on her dress?"

Tri-Klops joked with him as it caused the beast boy to roar at him and caused the optic teen to spill his drink on his shirt. The gang chuckle at the sight of the beast boy responding to him as he attempted to ask her out, walking over feeling nervous and wanting to leap out of the window. R'qazz took a moment to calm his breathing and try to get her attention.

"Hi. Despite you being all 'royal' and being a possible villain, would it be possible to ask for a dance?"

He asked nervously to the girl which made Briar see that it was his first time asking a girl out to dance. She agreed to the request and pulled him onto to the dance floor so they could embrace in the excitement which left R'qazz to smile at being with someone who wouldn't mind dancing with him. Melody looked at the clock to see it reaching the stroke of midnight, which left her to lower the volume and have everyone's attention turned over to Cupid who was about to explain the reason for the party and the book that held the history of True Hearts Day.

"True Hearts Day hasn't been spellebrated in such a long time, I wanted to tell everyone what it's all about. Once upon a time, there grew a very special tree. The Heart Tree."

She started the story with her looking over to DJ as he had the mirrors across the room which showed an image of the Heart Tree in the Enchanted Kingdom. With each season changing and plants leaving due to the change of season, the tree stood there as a symbol for love and how strong the heart can be under any situation it would face.

"Even if the winter was harsh, and the other trees failed to bloom, the Heart Tree blossomed no matter what. And so, our fairytale ancestors gave the blossoms to each other on True Hearts Day to show that even though it's not always easy, true love will always find a way."

Admitting that finding someone was never easy and would come with challenges, especially sacrifices as Apple looked over seeing Ashlynn holding Hunter's hand regardless on what anyone thought of them. Keeping her emotions in check, she looked over at Cupid to hear the rest of her storytelling.

"And so, to encourage all of us to follow our true heart and that of our Eternian friends. Make sure to give yours to someone special to you!"

Announcing to the crowd before having Roboto drop the hearts above them to fall gracefully into the hands of everyone and for the hearts to find their true love. With the hearts placed in everyone's hands, Apple received hers and noticed Ashlynn and Hunter getting theirs as they seemed happy to having been given one. Walking over to greet the couple, Ashlynn didn't know how to explain herself and sticking to Hunter's side as his girlfriend, but she didn't expect in Apple giving Ashlyn her heart.

"Even though I think you might be endangering yourself with what you're doing, in my heart. I only want you to be happy, no matter what happens."

She explained that while it was wrong for anyone to ignore their stories, it was better that Ashlynn followed her heart than not do anything else. Ella merely smiled at Apple as she hugged to embrace that they could still be friends despite her new dating life, with people finding their true hearts. Adam was given a heart as he was confused with what he was going do with it. Noticing Dexter being the only one without a heart, he walked over to hand him his which continued the Charming boy at why his friend would give him a heart.

"If it was up to me? I'd give that to a girl that's about to come your way right about now."

He offered a suggestion to Dexter as he looked over to see Cupid walking over to possibly ask him out as he understood what Adam meant. He walked over to show Cupid the heart that his friend gave him which left Cupid speechless as she hugs him to embrace the boy how he was interested in being with her. Chuckling at the sight of helping out the two as himself and He-Man, he didn't noticed Raven walking over where she didn't have a heart but two cups of juice for herself and Adam.

"Before you ask. My heart went to someone who might be too fond of the holiday."

She explained what happened to her heart as the two saw Lizzie Hearts claiming hearts from people due to her being fond of them. Deciding to enjoy being the only two without hearts and not minding having fun with their friends, one of them in the back was Teela who had gotten herself a heart and looked at Adam since it seemed that she was interested in him. Seeing how it be an uncomfortable moment, she hands the heart to someone who needed more and went over to enjoy the party herself. Seeing that once the night ends things will go back to normal, especially keeping a close eye on Skeletor if he plans to build up a larger group of followers who will do whatever it takes to get their happily ever afters.
