Chapter 31- Prisoners versus poachers' pets round 2
Blu and the others continued to lament over being unable to escape their cages. On the plane, Rafael, Eva, the toucan kids, Nico, Pedro, Alabaster and Poppy contemplated their fate as Luiz was loaded into the van by one of the poachers' dogs. The slobbery bulldog was VERY upset.
"Dose thieves are plannin' on 'seein' t' me by the time dis is over," he cried to his bird friends and with that, he began to weep. Rafael looked on as his bulldog friend broke down before turning his gaze to Eva and his 25 children, all of them including the eldest ones clearly frightened and huddled together.
"Eva, kids, I'm so, so sorry for dragging you lot into this mess," the toco toucan said in a low, remorseful voice "I should have told you lot to stay back in the jungle where you would have been safer."
Eva just glared at her toco mate and turned it down to the floor of her cage, the toucan kids huddled together and frightened, especially as the patrolling poachers' pets went around checking on them to make sure none of them stepped out of line. In the cage next to Eva and some of her toucan children, among them Marco, Sofia, Miguel, Carlos and two more named Migel and Rita, Mauro just looked away, dejected and feeling INCREDIBLY humiliated at being somehow captured by the sly poachers' pets. He worried for his clan and son Marty and longed to be back with them, and he also longed to be away from Rafael and the others who still saw him as a menace. Mauro and his gang of marmosets were among the most HATED members of the Tijuca community due to their thieving habits and troublemaking tendencies and Ahsoka and Blu and his family ESPECIALLY loathed him. When they first met, Mauro and Ahsoka did NOT get off on the right foot and the marmoset had mocked the flightless Amazon flying fox for being a 'monkey with a ragged cape' and Ahsoka had threatened to leap upon the marmoset to bite and claw him, forcing Joanna to keep her foster bat WELL away from the brown marmoset and his gang. Since then, the Amazon flying fox and the marmoset had been enemies. Right now, Mauro had seen Ahsoka and Blu and his family and though he despised those macaws and bats with a passion, he had been horrified that Ahsoka had tried to fight the SAVAGE Vecna, risking serious injury at the wings of the massive swan. Mauro himself had also been tormented by the swan and compared to Nigel apart from when he dropped the marmoset from a fatal height; Vecna was a nightmare that was FAR worse than the cockatoo. However, Mauro was glad that Marty was not captured by the swan and his underlings otherwise the young marmoset would have been UTTERLY traumatised. Sadly, the lead marmoset continued to look away from Rafael, Eva and some of their chicks.
While Mauro, Rafael, Eva, the toucan kids, Nico, Pedro, Alabaster and Poppy and also Luiz continued to despair over their situation with the other captured animals, a young white dog with black spots scattered all over his body, some of them resembling the spots on the sun on his back, and blue eyes appeared. When Rafael and the others saw Sunspot, they immediately took up a defensive stance with Eva getting in front of some of the kids in the same cage as her defensively.
"Give me one reason why I shouldn't lash at ya and bite ya paw, mutt," Rafael growled in a low, threatening voice.
"Rafy, wait," Luiz said and put up a paw before turning to Sunspot, "I do believe..."
"Shh, quiet," Sunspot rebuked in a low voice and immediately, he went over to Rafael's cage and, to everyone's UTMOST surprise, undid the bolt lock on the toucan's cage and opened it, "We'd better do this quick before Brutus, Vecna or any of the other minions catch me, Katrina and Charon and if that happens, we're toast for sure, especially at the beak of Vecna..." he then turned to a young black raven who had a ring of metallic objects in his beak, "Charon, you fly to those blue macaws and flying foxes' cage and unlock those padlocks and do it QUICK while Katrina and I see to these cages!"
The young raven, Charon nodded and left to see to Blu and the others. Nico and Pedro looked on as the Dalmatian puppy opened their cage. Nearby, Katrina the calico set free some of the macaws.
"Charon, young pup?" asked Nico.
"Don't ask, canary, just get out of the cage with the red-crested cardinal with you, quick," Sunspot commanded as he then went onto the next cage, some of the toucan kids. Nico and Pedro exchanged looks and did so.
Back outside the plane, Blu and the others continued to talk when suddenly, they heard a familiar voice.
"Blu, Jewel, Carla, Bia and Tiago," said the speaker, "And Ahsoka and the rest of you."
Immediately Blu and his family Aurora, Sirius, Milo, Ahsoka, Zephyr, Brisa, Samara, Celeste and Orion gazed at the speaker and saw that it was an elderly blue-and-gold macaw, the same macaw they came across at Nico and Pedro's club. He was stuffed into a cage of his own.
"Gabriel," said Blu with surprise.
"You've been caught as well?" asked Ahsoka. The old blue-and-gold macaw, Gabriel, sadly exhaled and nodded, "Indeed, by some of the crow and raven minions. I was already loaded into one of those vans by them before they and their owners and the rest of their group drove to that alley to collect you lot," he then looked up at Ahsoka and frowned, "And I've seen you try to take on that beastly swan as well. THAT was an EXTREMELY foolish thing you did, Ahsoka."
"We've already told her off over that, Gabriel," said Blu, his glare on the ginger bat as she shamefully lowered her head and ears. The group flinched as Dooku came by to check on them before leaving to continue with the task of loading the other caged animals onto the plane with the other pets and Frank, Peter, Marv and Vera. Gabriel then put aside Ahsoka's foolishness in taking on Vecna only to suffer a humiliating loss and gazed at the ginger bat.
"Anyway, I've been meaning to explain fully and properly how she ended up as a foster bat," said he, "And how she became orphaned according to what we blue-and-gold macaws had pieced together when we found the remains of their home..." as he prepared to enter into the explanation of Ahsoka's backstory as a pup, Charon sneaked towards them, hiding behind some more caged animals with the keys in his clutches. However, Blu and the others and Gabriel didn't notice his approach. Gabriel then entered into the explanation.
"When those poachers attacked that night and went after Ahsoka's clan of Amazon flying foxes, the clan, including Ahsoka's (then Ginger's) parents, Alberto and Lily, were forced to evacuate their home tree and flee further into the jungle. We believe that those poachers must have sent some of their flying pets after them, those ravens and crows and presumably Nigel and Vecna as well and they relentlessly invaded their home tree to catch some of the bats. And based on what we have pieced together from the scenes in the aftermath in and around the flying foxes' tree, especially after finding Alberto and Lily's dead bodies and Ahsoka as a pup, we deduced that Alberto and Lily got separated from the rest of their clan during the rush to escape. Those ravens and crows tried to catch the family but they fought back. However, that made the ravens and the crows counter and Alberto was killed first, and then Lily. Lily must have fought her and her baby's attempted captors to protect Ahsoka but she got struck and she dropped Ahsoka moments before one of the ravens or crows killed her..."
"Ravens and crows killed my parents?" asked Ahsoka, "I disagree. I believe it was another pet of those poachers that did that."
"Why do you say that?" asked Gabriel.
"When I had those flashbacks of my mother getting killed," said Ahsoka, "The form was white and not black unlike a raven or a crow."
"Could that white form have been Vecna?" asked Zephyr.
"No, the form was smaller," said Ahsoka, "And furthermore, Vecna doesn't have claws and so cannot claw his foes. He can only bite them or attack them with his wings..."
Blu and the others including Gabriel looked on in wonder at Ahsoka's description of the whiter form she had seen in her flashbacks. There was only one other pet that had white feathers besides Vecna. Suddenly, a young voice spoke and pulled their attention to him as he inserted one of the keys into one of the padlocks of Blu and his family's cage. To their surprise, it was a young raven.
"Well, whoever orphaned that flying fox, it's not important right now," said Charon and with that, he turned the key in the padlock's keyhole and unclipped the U-shaped loop out of the body. As he did that, the poachers and the rest of their pets including Vecna were looking the other way, their backs turned to Blu and the others. They had stopped for a while for they had heard something. Blu and the others looked on, wondering why the poachers were behaving like that but Charon quickly unlocked the rest of the padlocks on Blu and his family's cage and as soon as he had done this, he tossed away the padlocks, opened the door and allowed Blu and his family out, before going onto the next cage containing Aurora. Jewel was about to lurch at Charon to attack him but Blu stopped her.
"Wait a minute, my diamond," said he, "He's freed us. Let him do his job."
Jewel reluctantly obeyed and looked on suspiciously and distrustfully as Charon freed Aurora and went onto the next cage, Aurora eagerly escaping the dreaded poacher's tool and being glad to be out of it along with the flood of bad memories causing her panic attack and she began to calm down.
Frank continued looking around for the source of the sound. When he saw nothing suspicious, he barked at his underlings and pets to return to work. However, they were in for an unpleasant surprise. As the poachers and their pets continued to pick up more caged animals to take onto the plane, another sound exploded, this time from the cargo bay of the Sky Van plane. This sound was a metallic clattering and crashing and it seized the poachers and their pets' attention and yanked it in the direction of the Sky Van's cargo.
"NOW what's up!?" Frank yelled, impatience clearly growing in its flame height. He was UTTERLY desperate to be out of Rio before the storm and the police arrived and these distractions were causing unnecessary delays. He then turned to Peter, Marv and Vera and yelled at them to go and investigate the cargo bay and they obediently did. As they left, Otis the King Charles spaniel turned to Brutus, Lysandre, Bryony the Border collie and Xerosic the Russian grey cat. Suspicion was clearly present in his eyes regarding the metallic crashing noise.
"That sounded like a pile of cages toppling over," the brown and white dog said, "I hope it's not what I think it is..."
"Where are that STUPID Dalmatian puppy, young calico cat and young raven!?" asked Bryony, looking around for Sunspot, Katrina and Charon, "They should be helping us load these caged animals onto that plane."
"They've probably fled with their equally cowardly owners Jack and Jill," said Xerosic, "After all; they cannot handle the consequences of disobedience, especially if they are delivered from the brutish beak of our swan leader..."
Before Xerosic could mention Vecna's name, Frank's voice EXPLODED in a volcanic eruption of wrathful swearwords and profanity. Immediately, Xerosic, Otis, Bryony and some of the crows, ravens and some other cats and dogs nearby, among them Aliana the poodle, Embutido the Dachshund, Celosia the beagle, Ria the American shorthair, Alonso the Siamese cat, Blofeld the white Persian and Guzma the black cat, slammed paws and wings over their ears and blocked out the vulgar lyrics.
"What on... EARTH!?" Brutus blurted out. Lysandre and some of the others turned and when they saw what Frank was losing his temper over with Vecna releasing ENRAGED hisses and screeches as well, their mouths and beaks dropped open. Brutus saw their reaction.
"What is..." the Doberman asked but when his eyes landed on the cause of Frank and Vecna's volcanic eruptions, a MASSIVE bark exploded from his mouth, "NOOOOO!"
The other pets also looked at the cause of Vecna and Frank's outbursts and the HORROR of Brutus, Lysandre and the others that had looked in its direction first and also flinched violently. The cages that were meant to contain the fourteen most-valuable and highest price-tag-bearing macaws and bats, especially Blu and his family and Sirius and Samara the glaucous macaws and Orion and Ahsoka the Amazon flying foxes, the latter four being the last pairs of the two species, were EMPTY, their DOORS GAPING WIDE OPEN! Then before Brutus could open his mouth and ask how Blu and the others had disappeared, another sound, this time a far more terrible one accompanied by the cries of three humans, pulled their attention back to the Sky Van plane's cargo hold. That finally made Frank SNAP and he stormed over to the plane's cargo hold to angrily check on Peter, Vera and Marv and give them a SERIOUS yelling at.
"Those STUPID IMBACILES!" he snarled as he went there. As he did that, Vecna stormed over to the cats, dogs and ravens and crows with Dooku beside him.
"How did those blue macaws and Amazon flying foxes escape, Vecna?" Lysandre asked but the response he got from the enraged swan was a MASSIVE and explosive hiss. The ginger tom and leader of the poachers' cats, startled, immediately leaped onto Brutus to his annoyance.
"Get off me, you moggy IDIOT!" the Doberman snarled and shoved Lysandre off of him with a powerful push of a paw.
Frank continued to storm over to the plane, his face a look of thunder like that in the approaching storm.
"YOU THREE SHOULD BE..." he growled but as he arrived at the entrance of the cargo bay, the ramp flat on the ground, he was greeted with a dreadful sight. A BAD word exploded from his mouth as he saw his three underlings collapsed on the floor of the cargo bay, cages scattered around them and on top of them. Immediately, Frank went over to them to check on them but not out of concern for he was an EXTREMELY self-centred poacher bent only on making a MASSIVE sum of money from the poached animals. Going over to Marv, his face and arms still crisscrossed with half-healed claw marks inflicted on his by Aurora (and by extension, Samara back in the smugglers' den a few days ago), he seized him and began to angrily shake him awake.
"Wake up, you FOOLS," he snarled, jolting Marv by the shoulders, "WAKE UP!"
However, to his anger, the three remained limp on the floor. Frank threw Marv's upper body back onto the floor and stood up angrily to check on the caged animals. However, to his FURTHER wrath, they were also empty. The metallic crashing noise had indeed been them falling from their stacks as Otis had deduced, but the animal contents were nowhere to be seen.
"WHY do I HAVE to deal with this (BLEEP)IN' mishaps EVERY TIME I TRY TO MAKE (BLEEP)IN' PROGRESS!?" he bellowed. However, as he spoke, a small rattling of some of the collapsed cages seized his angry attention and pulled it its way. To Frank's flash of immense anger, there was nothing there. However, as Frank looked in that direction, out of his range of view, some small black birds with brightly coloured beaks, most of them orange and black, flitted down and emitted squeaky giggles. Frank turned his gaze back round and to his surprise, he saw a small flock of young toucans gaze at him with mean looks. Then before Frank could act, the flock of toucan kids flapped up and swarmed his head and upper body like a cloud of feathered bees, cackles exploding from their beaks. Frank, a MASSIVE stream of profanity exploding from his mouth, did his best in warding off the toucan kids with his arms but due to the sheer number of them, he was overwhelmed. Then the toucan kids sent Frank stumbling over an empty cage and falling backwards where he landed hard onto the ramp painfully. A MASSIVE grunt left his teeth-gritted mouth from the nasty fall. Then Frank looked up in time to see a brown and white marmoset with a paperclip in his head hair appeared, another cage clutched in his hands. Frank's eyes widened and his mouth dropped open as the marmoset, Mauro, released a wicked giggle, raised the cage and brought it down onto his head HARD, sending Frank's gaze into blackness the moment it connected.
Vecna, Brutus, Lysandre, Dooku and the other cats, dogs, crows and ravens heard Frank's brief screams and whirled round in the direction of the still-open Sky Van plane.
"FRANK!" cried Brutus and with that, the Doberman bolted for the plane to check on the lead owner, the others following. As the pets arrived at the plane, they were horrified to see that all four of their human owners, including Frank, were down. A few of the dogs and cats went to check their heartbeats and pulses while the others looked on. As they did that, Lysandre saw the empty cages in the cargo bay.
"Oh... NO," he ginger tom yelled.
"Not AGAIN," cried Dooku. The other crows, ravens, cats and dogs also emitted barks, caws and meows of disbelief at the sight of the empty cages. Vecna, however, was boiling with his temper and was barely in control of it now. Then after checking all four of the owners' pulses and heartbeats, the few dogs and cats that went to do this returned.
"They're still alive," said the Great Dane.
"But they are out cold," added a black and white cat, "But Frank has sustained a NASTY bump to the head."
Brutus went over to Frank and saw the injury, confirming the black and white cat's observation.
"Then WHERE did those prisoners..." began Vecna when suddenly, a voice exploded behind him and his crowd of underlings, "Go, overgrown snake-necked duck? I think the answer's right here!"
Immediately, the swan and his canine, feline and corvid underlings turned round and to their UTMOST surprise and anger, they saw a colourful crowd of various birds, primates, bats and a brown and white drooling dog standing there, their wrathful and scornful eyes glaring at them. In the front and centre of the crowd were two flying foxes, two glaucous macaws, two Lear's macaws and eight Spix macaws with three of them being chicks. The one who had spoken, Blu, wore a smug smirk and continued, "Oops, I think you'd better check your observation skills, poachers' mud-pets."
Flanking him, Jewel, Carla, Bia and Tiago, Zephyr, Aurora, Brisa, Milo, Celeste, Sirius, Samara, Orion and Ahsoka released titters. Near them stood Rafael, Eva, their 25 chicks, Nico, Pedro, Alabaster, Poppy and the bulldog Luiz, and also Gabriel. Their faces, together with the faces of their allies behind them including Mauro, were laced with anger and scorn at the poachers' poets as well and Sirius, Milo and Aurora had managed to overcome their panic attack and bad memories from their previous poaching experience. Blu's remark stung Vecna and his underlings like a bee and some of them winced at the insult. However, the swan brushed it aside almost immediately and he rallied his underlings to face off against Blu's crowd. The dogs, cats and corvids obeyed and took up a battle-ready stance.
"How did all YOU RATS manage to get out of YOUR CAGES!?" demanded the swan gutturally, his temper threatening to flare and consume him.
"Especially YOU blue macaws and flying foxes," said Brutus.
"I thought we had padlocked your cages for good measure against you escapin'," said Lysandre.
"Yes, since we suspected that you knew how to unlock those cages," put in Dooku. In response to the question, Blu and some of the others did a mock 'I don't know' gesture with their wings and shoulder shrugs.
"You explain yaself, poachers' pets," Nico (who was still missing his bottle cap hat and planned to find a replacement one after all this) replied scornfully. Vecna and the others entered into brief thought over this question but then it came to some of them, and they did NOT like it one bit.
"Sunspot, Katrina and CHARON!" Brutus hissed.
"When we get our paws an' beaks on THOSE... THREE..." Lysandre growled, his fur puffed out with rage against the three traitorous pets.
"Leave those no-good runts for now," Vecna yelled at the lead cat and dog and snapped their attention to the imminent confrontation. Then the swan turned to the crowd with Blu and the others standing in front of it, "Look, you bunch of rats, especially YOU parrot maggots, we wanna be outa here before those cops and that storm arrive..."
"And then what, worm-neck?" Jewel scornfully interrupted, "Sell us as mere OBJECTS through some..." she then turned to Blu, Aurora, Sirius, Ahsoka and Milo and asked, "Um what's the name of some nasty trade place humans use to sell animals and bad objects again?"
"Black market," Milo replied. Jewel nodded and turned her angry glare back to Vecna and his crowd, "Sell us through some black market against our will to potentially HORRIBLE fates like being turned into stuffed trophies, to collectors or to potentially cruel humans or sommat?" she growled, "I think NOT."
"THAT was the WHOLE IDEA," Brutus snapped, "MONEY is IMPORTANT to us, y'know."
"Now ENOUGH of this talk an' RETURN T' YA CAGES NOW!" Lysandre demanded. The other cars, dogs and corvids emitted cries, barks and caws that Blu's crowd do this. However, Blu's crowd just stood there, refusing to move. Vecna's group lost patience.
"I said RETURN TO YOUR CAGES!" Lysandre demanded again.
"Over MY dead body, furball," Blu scornfully replied.
"Or WHAT!?" Rafael yelled in addition. Then Vecna's temper began to boil dangerously inside him.
"Or you'll FACE MY FURY!" the swan screeched at the top of his voice.
"Face your furry what?" asked one of the toucan kids, Carlos, mischievously. Rafael and Eva tittered at this.
"Not FURRY as in covered with fur, ya little brat," Dooku snapped in irritation to the chick's mocking joke, "FURY... FEEE-YUUU-REEE! GOT IT!?"
"Oh, THAT fury," said Carlos with boredom. Titters rolled through some of Blu's crowd in response to this but Vecna's crowd was offended.
"So you thought that Vecna covered in fur..." began Embutido but Ria jabbed the Dachshund in the side with an elbow at this stupid question, making the brown and black sausage dog emit a pained bark and rub the struck area with his paw. Then Blu's crowd took up a battle pose, every single one of them including Carla, Bia, Tiago and the 25 toucan kids entering into it.
"If you THINK we're gonna return to those VILE cages, mud-pets," Samara yelled.
"Think AGAIN," said Sirius.
"We are NOT gonna be treated like some sort of MERE OBJECTS for the stuff YOU call money," put in Milo.
"Some of us have been smuggled successfully out of this country ONCE," said Aurora, "We are NOT gonna allow THAT to happen to us AGAIN!"
"And besides that, our home is now a protected SANCTUARY!" added Blu.
"Where poaching is NOW ILLEGAL!" added Jewel with Carla, Bia and Tiago squawking in agreement.
"And once this is OVER," Celeste said.
"THAT is where we will be living," said Zephyr.
"Where we will NOT have to worry about facing the threat of poachers," added Brisa.
"Especially since it is run by the humans who do TRULY care for us and our homes," added Ahsoka.
"And are NOT abusive," added Orion. Blu then finished off with, "So if ya wanna get us re-caged, then we will NOT surrender without a FIGHT!"
The others squawked in agreement with Luiz barking and Alabaster and Poppy, who were house pets, squawking.
"No one, repeat: NO-ONE treats OUR friends like DIRT," the bulldog snarled.
"An' WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP 'EM deal with YOU ROTTEN POACHERS' PETS!" Alabaster yelled.
"Hopefully ONCE AN' FOR ALL!" put in Poppy. Blu's crowd's defiance then pushed Vecna and his underlings over the edge and they glared furiously at their enemies.
"If THAT IS WHAT YA WANT, THEN SO BE IT!" Vecna bellowed, "PREPARE T' FACE OUR WRATH!"
Lysandre and his cat cronies released hisses and flared their fur while Brutus and his dog cronies released growls, their back hackles, if they had any, also raised like an angry cockatoo's crest. Dooku and his crow and raven crows also got prepared to fight.
"Then BRING IT ON," Pedro snarled, "YOU an' ya LOW-DOWN SCOUNDREL PETS, WHITE CARCASS DUCK!"
Then silence fell upon the two crowds as they faced off. Like back at Nico and Pedro's club, each member of Blu's crowd glared daggers with each member of Vecna's crowd. As tensions increased, a crow imitated the sound of a drum for corvids were sometimes good mimics like parrots. In the distance, the growls of thunder sounded, the storm almost here now. The two animal crowds' faceoff continued to increase in tension until finally, that tension snapped like a rope. Nico and Pedro jumped up and screamed, "Team Blu versus TEAM POACHERS' PETS round TWOOOOOOO!"
"GET THEEEEEEEEM!" screamed Vecna and with that, both crowds lurched at each other and violently clashed. Cat and dog paws flew for the necks of their opponents while corvid claws and beaks went to peck and jab while the caws and beaks of the birds of Blu's group went to attack along with the hands of the primates. Hands and talons seized locks of fur and feathers of the poachers' pets and ripped them out while the paws of the poachers' cats, dogs and feet of the corvids did the same to the fur and feathers of Blu's group. Barks, cat cries, corvid caws, various bird cries, primate screeches and bat squeaks and screeches exploded into the air above the airport like a volcanic eruption.
Nico and Pedro, together with Alabaster and Poppy, picked up some empty cages and threw them at some incoming large dogs intent on catching them. The greyhound was struck in the face first and knocked out. The Great Dane looked on in confusion before he, too, was struck on the head by a second cage and he collapsed, dazed. Nico and Pedro did a chest bump while Alabaster and Poppy shook wings and did the same with the canary and cardinal.
"Take THAT, you smugglers' MUTTS," Nico cried. Then the four left to help someone else. All around the plane, more of Blu's team members fought more of Vecna's team members. A young blue-and-gold macaw was throttled by a an older calico cat (not Katrina due to her being young) while a red-bellied macaw rode on the back of a whippet like a horse. Some marmosets beat and attacked some ravens and crows while some small bats were pursued by more cats. Those bats went under the Sky Van and sent their feline pursuers crashing headfirst into the side of the Sky Van. Rafael and Eva appeared and found themselves surrounded by a crowd of more cats, dogs and some ravens and crows. Then one of the ravens, Noire, lashed at Eva and seized her by the tail feathers but the keel-billed mate of Rafael gave her a MASSIVE screech at point-blank range. Noire, stunned with her ears ringing, stumbled away while some cats that had also been struck by Eva's screech also took a moment to recover. Rafael took up a defensive stance as some of the cats, among them Xerosic, the Sphinx cat and Guzma, approached him.
"Preparin' t' defend yaself ain't gonna get ya anywhere, Big Nose," Guzma crooned at Rafael's protective stance.
"An' besides that, ya outnumbered," cackled the Sphinx cat.
"Resistance is futile, toucan," said Xerosic. Rafael then shot the three cats and their comrades as they continued to close in on him and prepare to pounce onto him an, '"oh, really?" look before putting a wing to his beak and whistled loudly. Guzma, the Sphinx cat, Xerosic and their comrades stopped briefly but then a small crowd of black forms with colourful beaks appeared and glared at them menacingly. The cats looked on in stun at the sheer number of toucan kids as they prepared to attack them.
"Okay, children, ATTAAACK!" cried Rafael. Guzma shot the toucan an incredulous look.
"All those chicks are YOUR CHILDREN!?" the black cat cried out. Rafael formed a smirk on his beak as the toucan kids then leaped upon him and his comrades and began to attack them. Fur literally flew everywhere as the toucan kids tore out the cats' hair and attacked and bit them. Guzma tried fleeing from some of the toucan kids but a wave of them appeared and literally crashed over him and brought him down. A white cat (not Blofeld) struggled with more toucan kids as they bit his ears and tore out his fur. Carlos appeared and bit down on Xerosic's tail, making the cat scream in agony before another, Marco, appeared and bit his nose. Sofia and Manoela appeared and each clamped their orange and black beaks onto his ears while Rita and Diantha appeared and began to pull at Xerosic's whiskers. Rafael and Eva looked on proudly as their 25 kids continued to wreak havoc on the cats, the crows and some of the dogs rushing in to help only to be attacked as well. The Sphinx cat ran by, five of the toucan kids jumping on his back like a trampoline. Then Rafael and Eva joined their 20-plus offspring in fighting their opponents.
