CHAPTER 3

(ROMAN'S P.O.V)

I glanced at the clock, as Shelly my sister squirmed in her seat. It was 1:00am. Shelley stared apprehensively at both Jessica and Adilyn, then back at me, and Peter after hearing our crazy solution. "Don't be afraid Shelley," I assured her. "You can trust her, because she made me human as well." "You mean…" She paused and her face lighted up in genuine surprise. "Mom's disease is gone," I chuckled wholeheartedly, taking her hand. "Will Nadia be changed to a human as well?." Shelley asked for hopefulness in her tone, as she turned to stare at her niece. "Of course," I assured her. "You and Nadia can go on and live a happy and healthy life like you both deserve." God that was all I wanted for my sister, and daughter. I watched my sister suffer at the hands of not just my manipulative mother, but as our little town either belittled or was afraid of Shelley.

As for Nadia, I would no longer have to hide her away, and wonder if she would turn out to be a monster like me…

Shelley suddenly took off her wig revealing her weird shaped right eye, and glowing bald head. "I trust you Roman, therefore I trust them," Shelley said confidently smiling at Jessica and Adilyn, who also smiled back at her. "To make this a pleasant experience, I think I'll do this," Adilyn spoke up and stepped in front of Shelley and Nadia, who was sitting in Shelley' lap. "Just relax," Adilyn said gently, as her both hands began to glow. She then gently touched Shelley and Nadia's head. Adilyn closed her eyes, as Shelley's demonic features, such as her right eye as it began to change shape and look exactly as her left. Her glowing skin slowly stopped glowing, and changed into one tone. I suddenly felt a hand on my left shoulder, as I glanced at Peter who grinned at me.

I grinned back, as I felt tears slowly drip down my face. Nadia began to cry a bit.

"It's okay Nadia it's all over now."

I cooed to her as Adilyn let them go and backed away. "Shelley." Peter whispered in amazement. "What does it look bad?," Shelley responded a bit worried. "No," I answered, bringing her a large hand mirror. She gasped in shock, as she watched herself. "I look- I look," Shelley stuttered, as she pulled the skin under her right eye, amazed that it changed. "I have hair…" she teared up seeing her thick brunette shoulder hair. "Shelley," I said in a hoarse voice, crying

openly now. "You look beautiful…" I said before giving her and Nadia a large embrace. This was the best day of my life. I had not only survived death, but lived to see my sister, and my daughter become human. "Thank you," I turned to both Jessica and Adilyn. "I will never forget this…"
