Yuka woke up the next day feeling fairly well rested. For once, her past hadn't come to haunt her while she slept through the night. She had been so exhausted from yesterday's events that when she went to lie down in her bed for the night, she immediately fell into a dead, dreamless sleep, which was frankly preferable to her recent nightmare-fueled nights. At least, this time around, she finally managed to sleep decently and Yuka couldn't help but wonder if what she had been up to with Dabi had anything to do with it.

She promptly pushed that thought out of her mind as she rose up from her bed. Of course it didn't... Why would Dabi of all people influence her sleep? It's not like he performed some kind of miracle the night before. They sparred and that was it. Nothing more, nothing less. There was no reason to think that there was something more going on between the two of them and yet, Yuka couldn't help but think back at last night's events. Dabi had been surprisingly helpful during her emotional crisis. He hadn't asked any questions and had been surprisingly respectful of her boundaries. It was almost as if he had seen this kind of reaction before. Unfortunately, she couldn't know for certain if that was the case, not without asking him directly, and she wasn't about to delve into personal matters with him of all people.

After doing her morning breathing exercises, she descended down to the kitchen where a few of her peers were already busy eating their breakfast. Twice was standing over the kitchen sink, blowing smoke from his cigarette into the open window. Mr. Compress was seated at the table eating an omelette. He wasn't wearing his usual get-up and had his face completely uncovered for once.

"Good morning, Miss Yuka," he said to her politely.

Yuka answered with a slight nod as she walked over to the fridge to get some food. She pulled out a pack of pre-cooked salmon and brought it to the stove before placing the filet on the griller to reheat it. That's when she saw that there was a pot full of freshly cooked rice on the stove top.

"Who's rice is that?" she asked, turning towards Compress.

"Dabi made that," Twice answered from where he was smoking. "Said we could help ourselves if we wanted to."

Yuka was shocked to hear that Dabi was the one that had left rice out for everyone. She didn't think he would be the type to cook food for himself, let alone for other people. Although it was just rice in the end, she was still surprised to find out that he had done any kind of service for anyone but himself.

"Does he not eat with you guys?" Yuka asked as she prepared a bowl of rice for herself.

Compress shook his head. "Dabi usually eats in his room, by himself. As you can imagine, he's not one for socialization..."

She nodded in agreement. Once her fish was grilled, Yuka placed it on top of her rice bowl and walked over to the kitchen table to sit in front of Compress. She started to pick at her bowl with her chopsticks, quietly eating her breakfast as silence fell upon the room once more. While Compress had definitely tried to converse with her the first time they met, he hadn't pressed her further once they started working together and she respected him for it. True to his gentlemanly ways, he had kept his distance from her, sensing that, like Dabi, she wasn't too fond of social interactions and that she preferred to be left alone most of the time.

"Hey..." Yuka said as she looked up at the man sitting in front of her. "Even though things didn't pan out like you wanted yesterday, you did really good out there at the training camp."

Compress stared at her with surprise on his face. He hadn't expected her to talk to him while they ate, let alone praise him for his performance. Even Twice seemed surprised by her sudden compliment. A wide grin formed on Compress' lips as pride swelled up in his chest.

"Why thank you, my dear," he thanked her graciously with an elegant flourish. "It's nice to know that my genius is finally being recognized."

"Alright, you didn't have to go that far, Magic Man..." Yuka said in a low voice.

Twice started snickering from where he stood. She wasn't actually offended by his behavior. In fact, she was having trouble containing her amused smirk from cracking her serious expression. After seeing this, Compress flashed an overly offended look on his face as he placed his hand to his chest.

"Why I've never-!" he gasped dramatically. "Should I start calling you Smoke Machine then?"

"I'd like to see you try," Yuka answered in a more serious tone.

"I'd pay to see that!" Twice replied excitedly, before immediately contradicting himself. "Don't be a dick, Compress!"

They all laughed together, including Yuka, who couldn't help but chuckle in amusement. Maybe these guys weren't as bad as she initially thought...

As she was finishing her breakfast, the other members of the League of Villains started pouring in to have breakfast themselves. Toga and Magne arrived at the same time and sat next to Yuka once their food was ready. They tried talking to her and tried including her in their discussions, but Yuka merely nodded at what they were saying, uninterested in joining their incessant prattling. Once she had finished eating, she stood up from her chair and brought her dishes to the sink to wash them.

"I'll deal with that," Twice said as he reached out to take the dirty dishes from her.

"I can wash my own dishes, Twice..." she replied bluntly.

"Of course you can, I'm just saying that I'm in the way and that I'm not done with my smoke yet, so let me do it for you."

He kept his hand out, not budging from his spot in front of the kitchen sink. Yuka eventually relented and handed him her bowl and chopsticks. Sticking his cigarette in between his lips, Twice then started washing her dishes for her.

"I could have waited you know..." she said, crossing her arms over her chest as she looked away, slightly embarrassed.

"I didn't want you hanging around too long while I was still smoking," he explained to her.

Yuka stared at him with surprise. She hadn't realized that he was actually looking out for her by doing her a favor. She felt even more embarrassed now and stared down at her feet to hide the fact that she was blushing.

"Thanks..." she said almost in a whisper.

"Don't mention it," Twice replied.

She pulled away from him, feeling the sting from his cigarette smoke starting to irritate her lungs. She started to make her way out of the room when suddenly, Dabi appeared underneath the door frame.

"There you are," he said as he saw her. "Shiggy wants to see you."

"Haha, Shiggy," Toga snickered.

"Don't let him catch you calling him that," Magne warned him with a slight chuckle.

"Whatever." Dabi rolled his eyes. "He wants to talk to you." His eyes turned towards Yuka.

"Me?" she answered incredulously while pointing at herself. "Did he say why?"

He shrugged his shoulders. "Nope. Maybe he needs you to intimidate Bakugou some more."

He saw her wince at the mention of Bakugou and his previously amused grin quickly vanished from his face.

"Or maybe he needs you for something else, who knows?" he suggested. "I only know that he asked for you specifically, so if I were you, I wouldn't keep him waiting. He gets really pissy when he doesn't get what he wants..."

Yuka nodded and went upstairs to get changed. She also grabbed her gas mask on the way out and went to meet with Shigaraki in the bar area. When she walked through the curtain door, she found him sitting at his usual place with no mask on. His bleached locks hung lazily in front of his face as he was hunched over the countertop. Kurogiri was standing behind the bar as usual, wiping down a few glasses he had just finished cleaning. Bakugou was still bound and gagged on his chair at the other end of the room. His hand had been bandaged since and he shot her a murderous glance until her eyes met with his. He then looked away, seemingly unable to withstand her icy glare.

"Dabi told me you wished to speak to me," she said to Shigaraki after a few long seconds of silence.

She looked over at the seat next to Shigaraki and debated whether or not to sit next to him. After hesitating for a few seconds, she ultimately decided against it and merely stood a few feet away next to him.

"Yes... I need to step out for a while and I need you to keep an eye on our guest of honor," Shigaraki explained.

Yuka had a feeling that he was going to ask something of that nature. She breathed in deep, closing her eyes for a brief moment as she tried not to remember how things had gone the night before.

"Can't you ask Compress to stick him into one of his little marbles while you're gone?" she asked him with a tinge of annoyance in her voice.

Tomura narrowed his eyes as he stared up at her. "I didn't call you here so you could question my decisions. You've undermined my leadership enough as it is with your little stunt last night." He slammed his palm against the bar. "But, admittedly, your methods proved more fruitful than mine, so I'm asking you to watch over him while I'm gone."

She turned away to look at Bakugou, still strapped to his chair. Even though he was desperately trying to hide it, Yuka could tell that he was a lot more scared than he was the day before. He kept staring at her, like prey staring at a predator, waiting to see what she would do to him. Yuka exhaled once again, shaking her head slightly as she lowered her head.

"Fine," she finally said to him. "I'll watch him. But this better not take long..."

Shigaraki waved her last words away with his hand as he got up from his seat. He then motioned for Kurogiri to open up a portal for him and stepped through it. Once he was gone, Yuka turned her attention over to Bakugou, who suddenly seemed a lot more concerned for his safety now that Tomura was gone.

As she approached him, she picked up one of the stools from the bar and placed it in front of Bakugou. She then sat down, looking directly at him the whole time. After a few moments, he started squirming in his seat, moaning and growling through the gag he was wearing. He seemed to want to tell her something, but Yuka couldn't care less about what he had to say to her. If she removed his gag, he was probably going to start cussing her out again and the last thing she wanted was to hear this annoying little brat screaming insults at her. But as the minutes went by, his distress started to show more and more and she finally relented, yanking the gag from his mouth in a swift motion.

"What?" she asked in an incy tone.

"Finally dammit!" he yelled as he moved his jaw around to loosen it. "I need to use the bathroom."

Yuka stared at him with a deadpan look on her face. After a few seconds of silence, she got up from her seat and reached for the large bucket sitting in the corner of the room. She then brought it to Bakugou, setting it in front of him with a loud thud before sitting back down in complete silence.

"Uuuh... you gotta be shitting me," the young man said in disbelief. "You're seriously expecting me to do my business in there? How the fuck am I suppose to pee if I'm tied up?!"

"I'll have to untie you," she answered flatly.

"And what if I need to take a shit?"

Yuka kicked the bucket closer to him while she motioned to it with her chin.

"Are you fucking serious?! You guys are fucking sick!" he complained loudly.

He was about to kick the bucket towards her when his eye caught the glint of a knife coming from one of Yuka's boots. She pulled out the weapon slowly, playing with it nonchalantly as she waited for Bakugou to settle down again.

"So, do you still need to go?" she asked calmly.

He looked like he was debating it for a moment, but after a few short seconds, slumped back into his chair as he turned his gaze away from her.

"That's what I thought..." she said as she got up from her stool.

She had the gag in her hands and was ready to put it back on Bakugou's face. Panic flashed in his eyes as he vehemently fought against it. Yuka was having none of it and forcefully shoved him back into his seat.

"Hold still you little brat!" she growled at him angrily as she tried to put the gag back onto his mouth.

"Let go of me!" Bakugou yelled as he struggled against her.

Black tendrils started appearing around them as Kurogiri stepped in to help. He quickly subdued Bakugou with his shadowy tentacles which allowed Yuka to successfully gag him once again. Once he was fully tied up, the young man slumped back into his seat in defeat as Yuka walked away with an annoyed sigh.

"I don't understand why Shigaraki insists on wasting his time with him," she huffed as she leaned over the countertop.

"He is a valuable asset," Kurogiri replied. "Tomura Shigaraki has deemed him important, therefore, we must ensure that he remains in our custody."

"Tch... Yeah, sure..."

She looked over her shoulder at Bakugou, who had been staring daggers at her while her back was turned, but as soon as her icy gaze met with his, he quickly turned away.

For two hours, she kept an eye on him before Tomura finally returned to the hideout. Once he was back, she was free to do whatever while she waited for their next move. She decided to call Giran regarding the mask she had lost the day before thanks to those brats from U.A. She put in a special order for a replacement as well as some medicinal capsules for her lungs. The capsules were going to be harder to come by, but she figured she would find a way to make it up to Giran at a later date. Once her call with Giran was finished, she returned to her room and spent the remainder of the day taking care of her equipment.

Once the sun went down, Shigaraki called for another meeting in the main room of the hideout. He was still determined to convert Bakugou to their side, even though he hadn't shown any signs that he was ready to cooperate since last night.

"I thought you and I could come to an understanding," Tomura said to him after spending the last half hour trying to convince him to join.

"Not a chance!" Bakugou retorted.

"Then I have no choice... The heroes said that they'd continue their investigation of our group, so we don't have time to stand here and talk." Shigaraki turned towards the TV that had been playing in the background. "Master, lend me your power..."

A few times, Yuka had witnessed Shigaraki speaking to an unknown "master" through the screen in the main area of the hideout. She figured that he was the reason why he would often disappear from the hideout. There was never an image of him when he would contact them. Nobody else but Shigaraki seemed to interact with the mysterious figure, so she had no way of knowing who he really was, but from the way he spoke, she could tell that he was a man of great power and influence.

"That is a wise decision, Tomura Shigaraki," the man said ominously from the other side of the screen.

"A master?" Bakugou said smugly. "I thought you were the boss around here... but you're just a sidekick."

Yuka desperately wanted to punch this guy in the face to get him to shut up, but she didn't want a repeat of last night, so she let Shigaraki deal with him this time.

"Kurogiri, Compress," he started to say. "It's time to put him back to sleep..."

Compress let out a dejected sigh. "I can't believe he's such a bad audience member. It's almost impressive..."

He started to walk towards the young blond which visibly made Bakugou more nervous and alert.

"If you want me to listen, then get on your knees and beg!" he bellowed loudly.

Yuka had just about enough of him by this point and started to move towards him with murderous intent. She cracked her knuckles as she stared him down from across the room. Bakugou immediately retreated back into his seat, now worried that she was going to hurt him like she did yesterday. But her advance was cut short by the sound of knocking coming from the front door.

"Hello? I got a pizza delivery here!"

Complete silence fell upon the room as everyone stared at the door in astonishment. As everyone was asking themselves who had ordered a pizza, a loud explosion burst through the outside wall as debris came flying into the room. Spinner, who was standing right next to the wall, was the first to be knocked down by the explosion as a familiar face burst through the wall.

"SMASH!"

Suddenly, All Might's grinning face emerged as the dust cleared. Shigaraki quickly ordered Kurogiri to open up a gate for them as Yuka went to pull out her sword, when another hero suddenly emerged from outside the building.

"Preemptive Lacquered Chain Prison!"

Large wooden branches shot from his arm straight towards them, imprisoning all of them before any of them could do anything. Now ensnared by the vines, Yuka could hardly move an inch and couldn't reach her sword anymore.

"Huh? That's it?" she heard Dabi say smugly as he realized that they were ensnared by wooden chains.

But before he could incinerate their bonds, a small, elderly man shot through wearing a yellow spandex suit, kicking him straight in the face and knocking him completely unconscious with a single strike.

"Dabi!" Yuka called out as his head flopped down.

Her eyes began to turn bright purple as she inhaled deeply. She could feel the chemicals forming in her lungs as they started to burn, but before she could release her breath, the same elderly man shot straight towards her with incredible speed, kicking her mask off her face before delivering another kick straight to her stomach, knocking all of the air she had in her lungs before she had time to properly activate her quirk.

"Don't do anything foolish!" he said to her. "It's in your best interest to cooperate with us."

All Might then turned towards the young hero that had imprisoned them in his tree branch prison.

"Just what I'd expect from a competent new hero!" he said proudly, then turned his attention towards the elderly man. "And a veteran pro who moves faster than the eye can see." He then turned towards the ensnared villains. "You can't run anymore, League of Villains, understand?! Because we are here!"

"How did they find us?!" Magne yelled in shock.

Twice and Toga were struggling against their own bonds.

"Tree Man, you're hugging me too tight!" the spandex wearing man yelled. "Harder!"

"One tends to neglect defense when on the offense..."

A voice came from the front door. A few seconds later, Edgeshot slipped through the crack of the door to unlock it.

"But we didn't come alone," he said as he dramatically opened the front door to reveal a slew of armed policemen ready to apprehend them. "You're surrounded by the police, not to mention powerful heroes like Endeavor."

The heroes had pulled out all the stops to stop their little operation. Had she not been imprisoned by Kamui Woods' Lacquered Chain Prison, Yuka would've found it almost impressive. But seeing as she was in a very precarious situation, she was more concerned with how they were going to get themselves out of this mess to admire the pros' work.

"Now then, let's get you out of these bonds," All Might said as he turned towards Bakugou to free him from his bonds. "You must have been scared, but you stayed strong. I'm sorry, you're safe now, young Bakugou."

For a second, it looked like Bakugou was just about to start crying, when he suddenly erupted into anger.

"What?! I wasn't scared! Not even close!" he yelled loudly.

All Might gave him a thumbs up while Shigaraki started to mumble and growl from where he was sitting.

"After I went through all the trouble of preparing this, the final boss goes and shows up on my doorstep," he muttered angrily. "Everyone's been restrained... There's no easy way to escape." He paused. "It can't be helped. So they've got back up, huh? Well... we do too!" He started to yell suddenly. "KUROGIRI! Warp over as many as you can!"

"The Nomu, right?" All Might said.

Silence fell on the room once more. Yuka looked around, trying to see what Shigaraki had been yelling about just a few seconds ago. Nothing was happening, which was making Shigaraki increasingly more agitated.

"What are you waiting for dammit!" he said to Kurogiri.

"I'm sorry, Tomura Shigaraki," his servant replied. "The Nomu were supposed to be in a fixed location but... they're gone."

"What...?"

"It seems you have a lot to learn, Shigaraki. You're still green..." All Might proclaimed. "You're little League underestimated all of us."

Things seemed to be going from bad to worse. Yuka looked around helplessly at her comrades, hoping that one of them would miraculously get them out of this mess. But when it became clear to her that they were in the same position that she was in, she turned towards their leader, who was now fuming with rage.

"Enough is enough!" All Might continued. "Your game has come to an end, Tomura Shigaraki!"

"All Might please!" Spinner yelled from where he laid on the ground. "You're the only hero Stain respected! You are worthy!"

Yuka rolled her eyes so hard that she feared she would lose them inside her skull. "Shut up you fool!" she yelled at him with annoyance.

"You think this is over?" Shigaraki finally said after a while. "Don't be stupid... I've only just begun to play..." He struggled against his bonds as he stood up slowly. "Justice, peace... You created a garbage society by lifting up such ridiculous ideals! That's why I targeted you, All Might! It's why I started gathering people to my cause!" He stared at him with eyes full of hate. "You think this is the end? Then you've lost... KUROGIRI!"

He heard a loud noise coming from his shadowy servant as something pierced his chest from behind. Magne, who was sitting right next to the bar, started freaking out when she saw Kurogiri fall face down against the counter.

"Aaah! What just happened?! I couldn't see anything! Did they kill him?!" she said, frantically shaking her head.

Edgeshot then emerged from Kurogiri's body. "I played around with his insides and made him fall unconscious," he explained calmly as he started to reform himself. "He was such a nuisance. He had to sleep."

"Weren't you listening earlier?" Gran Torino said to them. "You'll all be better off if you take us seriously."

He then turned towards each and every one of them, calling everyone out by name. When it came to Yuka's turn, she assumed he would also call her by her name, but what came out of his mouth was something that completely caught her off guard.

"... and Hana Shimada."

A few of her colleagues turned towards her in confusion, but were only met with more confusion coming from her. She had no idea where that name had come from and yet, it sounded oddly familiar. She continued staring at the old veteran hero, as if staring at him would somehow give her the answers she was so desperately trying to find right now.

"Though they had little time and information, the police worked through the night to discover your true identities," he explained to them. "Do you understand? There's nowhere left for any of you to run!" He then turned towards Shigaraki. "So, Shigaraki, one question: Where is your boss hiding?"

Their fearless leader had suddenly grown deathly quiet. He stared off into the distance, his mask still firmly attached to his face. It was surprising that none of the heroes had come to remove it, but since it didn't offer him any sort of advantage in combat, there wasn't really any point in removing it in the first place.

Yuka wondered what was going through his mind at this point. He wasn't saying anything anymore, only staring off into the distance blankly as the heroes were waiting for him to respond. After a few more seconds of dead silence, he started to shake slightly.

"No... This isn't over. The game is still mine!" he growled in a low voice.

"You'll tell us where he is, right now!" All Might warned him as he stepped forward.

"Go away... Disappear! This is your fault! I HATE YOU!" Tomura shrieked.

Suddenly, large black puddles started erupting from every corner in the room and large, mutant-like creatures started pouring in from them. The heroes stepped back as several Nomu started warping into the villains' hideout.

"Nomu! How'd they get here?!" Kamui asked in astonishment. "What is this?!"

"Dammit Edgeshot!" Gran Torino yelled. "Stop Kurogiri!"

"He's still out. This isn't his doing!" Edgeshot replied as he leaned over Kurogiri's unconscious form.

All Might then turned towards Kamui Woods. "Don't release them under any circumstances, got it?!"

Then, the black puddles started erupting from Bakugou's mouth, making him choke and gag as the black liquid started to consume him. Soon enough, black viscous liquid started spewing from everyone's mouths, Yuka included. She choked on it as it grew in size, swallowing her whole. The last thing she saw was All Might's dismayed expression as Bakugou suddenly disappeared from his grasp.
